Legend of Fei

Episode 13

I've extinguished Dragon incense and broken Dragon banner.

I'm afraid it won't come to a good end.

You've come just in time.

Your Majesty.

Evacuate the people. -Noted.

What is going on, master?

Before I could recover from my old wound,...

...I received Feng Wuyan's palm. I'm fine.

Feng Wuyan won't give up until he achieves his purpose.

Only you can fight him if he comes after us.

Me? -I'll teach you...

...a simple Bagua step.

Before he can respond to it,...

...we'll flee through the Bagua formation.

Is that it? I saw it before.

Is this the Qimen Dunjia Map?

Do you know it?

I read some books at the stronghold.

I think I came across it. -That's wonderful.

Senior!

You rushed in.

Are you injured?

Let's go. -Go?

Go where?

Qian, Kun.

I'll enter if you remain silent. -Let's go.

Are you okay?

Zhen.

Senior!

Gen.

Come out and talk!

Li. -Senior!

Kan.

Senior! -Dui.

Xun.

It's not. -You can't go through here.

3 steps forward to the right. Why are you so stupid? Let's go.

I hear this for the first time.

You should spare me some time to understand.

This Bagua Map...

...is built with hexagram-hidden door screens.

Qian, Kun. Didn't you read Qimen Dunjia?

Based on the 8 doors, we can only pass through Kai,...

...Xiu and Sheng doors.

Other doors are full of traps, which we can't pass through.

I think I understand. Based on Qimen Dunjia,...

...Kai, Xiu, Sheng, Shang, Du, Jing, Si, Jing, 8 doors.

We can get out so long as we find Sheng door at northeast.

Senior!

Reply me if you hear me.

You're surprisingly smart.

We'll go west. We'll reach Jing door.

Strange. Isn't Jing door an ominous door? It has traps.

You shouldn't pass your whisk to an outsider.

How about this?

Give me your whisk and then I'll spare you.

Feng Wuyan, you led the wolf into Qimen due to your obsession.

Wouldn't you repent of bringing Qimen to this state?

Repent?

My father was partial to you and now you're partial to a kid.

This is too much.

I want to reclaim my belonging.

You mustn't step to the front of Jing door. Run in time.

Feng Wuyan, the whisk was given by the old master.

I can't let the late master down.

Don't take my late father as an excuse!

I have no mean to kill you. Don't force me!

Let's go.

Qian, Kun.

Zhen, Gen.

Li, Kan.

Dui, Xun.

Have you memorised it?

Almost. I've memorised it.

Master.

Master.

Master!

You're in Tiangang Beidou Formation,...

...one of the 8 major formations in the Mizhong Forest.

Think about the way to come out.

Tiangang Beidou Formation.

Qian, Kun, Zhen, Kan, Li.

Brother Ji is an honest man. He owed you back then,...

...but I didn't. -Honest? Would he say it?

You said I can do whatever I want to you...

...because you owe me your life,...

...but in truth,...

...you hid from me.

I will say you're the same old hypocrite.

Pei.

Don't worry.

I'm now a useless man.

I'll give my life to you one day,...

...but I couldn't cause the extermination...

...of the Northern Sabre.

Extermination of Northern Sabre.

What about my Shanchuan Sword?

You can't accept it.

My father had no choice at all!

But don't worry.

I'll reclaim...

...whatever that you owe me.

You can't run today.

So you lured the Dragon Lord...

...to kill me.

Mistress, pigeon letter from our spy.

Leave. -Noted.

Mistress.

A disciple reported that they're yet to hear from Madam Wang.

Got it.

Mistress Kou.

I think it's unusual. Please send off a few capable men...

...to track Madam Wang.

I'll go myself if they still couldn't gain any news.

Noted.

Brother Hua, I'm afraid we shouldn't stay here too long.

I owe you my life anyway.

Being able to live another day is fine.

It's nothing if not.

But I would miss this inn.

Your Majesty, we've evacuated all guests. Go back with me.

Dragon Lord could arrive soon.

It's me who has stirred up the trouble.

I can't leave so long as there is still one person here.

Then.....

By the way,...

...where is Zichen?

He is on his way back to Jiankang. Thanks to your strategy made...

...at Huarong, the matter has been eased.

It's a coincidence. I didn't spend much effort.

Please do go back with me.

General Wen, couldn't you pretend that you never meet me?

I dare not.

Your Majesty, many eyes have seen you this time.

Don't make it difficult to me.

I'm surrounded by your men as if preventing a thief.

Am I capable...

...of making it difficult to you?

We had high self-esteem when General Wang Lin...

...commanded the armies.

Now General Wang Lin is gone.

We wish you could come back the soonest to take charge.

Why can't I recall...

...everything that you've said?

I've made an indiscreet remark.

Don't worry. By the way, ask for...

...2 cans of beef paste from the chef downstairs.

I'm afraid I couldn't eat it anymore after this.

I can finally return this locket to you.

Fei.

Are you still mad at Brother Xie?

Him?

Other than his legs, he is full of lies.

He could talk the whole day...

...if he wants to lie.

However,...

...why is he wandering around...

...as the emperor?

In fact, he is also a victim.

His real name is Xiao Chuan.

He is a prince of the late dynasty.

The royal palace was surrounded by rebels when he was a child.

There was a fire after that.

Everyone thought that no one escaped there.

Unexpectedly, an old eunuch risked his life...

...to escort the prince out of the palace.

Later General Wang Lin received Mr. Xie back to the palace,...

...but not long after that, he was sent to...

...a neighbouring state as a hostage.

A general rose to rebellion and renamed the reign.

The late dynasty collapsed completely.

General Wang Lin supported Mr. Xie to the throne.

He wanted to restore the late dynasty.

So he concealed his identity and named himself Xie Meimei?

What is it that he couldn't tell me?

The kingdom is gone and changed.

Instead of leading an extravagant life,...

...he could have his own reason of wandering out here.

It's understandable when he didn't reveal his true identity.

I almost poked the emperor into a hornet's nest.

Never mind. It doesn't matter whether or not he is the emperor.

In my perspective, he is the unlucky Xie Meimei...

...who always lies.

By the way, you told me that when you came,...

...you received a letter from my mother...

...from a spy of 48 Strongholds?

Yes. I have it here.

My mother said the spy should escort you...

...straight to the stronghold.

It does make sense. You're a rich lady.

You should stay in a big house,...

...travel by a carriage and be served by maids.

You shouldn't go through winds and rains with us every day.

You may not live as good as before in 48 Strongholds,...

...but at the least, you'll be taken care of.

Fei, I'm no longer a rich lady.

Strange. Why did my mother mention only you, but not your brother?

Logically, she couldn't have been so calm after learning...

...about situation in Huarong.

Unless..... -The letter is fake.

There is a problem with that spy.

It seems that I need to go home.

I can't. Xie Yun and I are responsible for the matter.

If we run away,...

...I'm afraid...

...that everyone in this inn could be doomed.

Chuchu, shall I tell General Wen to escort you to my father?

He will settle you down.

I won't go anywhere. I just want to be with you.

No.

If there is a fight between General Wen and Dragon Lord,...

...I could neglect you.

It's only due to my incompetence.

It would be great if I could fight like my grandfather.

Fei.

I trust no one, but you.

Moreover, I'm not an object. Don't entrust me to anyone else.

Okay. Stay here. You mustn't go down...

...without my signal.

"Help"

"Help"

I can't.

What are you doing, Your Majesty?

Please bring me along.

One or two burdens don't matter much.

Moreover, I can run if something happens to me.

I won't bring trouble to you.

Have you overheard it?

Yes.

You aren't mad at me anymore, right?

We'll part from now on. Why should I be mad at you?

Please. Get me out of this inn.

Please. I'll do anything to repay your kindness.

Fei.

At first I wondered if you're really wandering around...

...for justice.

Now it seems that you're the like of Li Sheng.

You lie to others and you refuse to go home.

I'll go back after settling the matter here.

I advise you to go home the soonest.

You're incompetent.

You could make your family worried.

I do want to go home.

I do want a family, expecting me to go home.

Do you have no family?

Family?

If relative, maybe I have a lot in the Xiao clan.

However, I'm afraid they couldn't be taken as family.

You.....

Don't you have a sworn brother?

Zichen?

Yes. He grew up under my watch.

He is close to me.

Although he is the third prince of the current dynasty,...

...there is a gap between our status.

However,...

...I'm glad that he is around.

Run!

Get inside!

Why are they playing gong in daytime?

You can't guess it, right?

I won't tell you.

Brother Ji, there is sound of gong.

It seems that Dragon Lord has arrived.

Zheng Luosheng

"Dragon Lord of Four Gods Mountain"

My master sends his greetings to Dragon Lord.

What brings you here?

I know.

General Wen sent his message through his underling...

...so Dragon Lord imitated the general...

...and sent his message through his own underling.

He is putting himself on airs.

Not bad. You've guessed it right.

You do have wisdom.

My master said here is unrestricted area.

We won't disturb him as we learn that he is here,...

...but my master has lost a dog.

It's said to be detained in the inn and someone burned...

...Dragon banner and extinguished Dragon incense.

We come to ask for an explanation.

General Wen is a reasonable man.

I suppose...

...you wouldn't be offended.

Do you think Dragon Lord is more capable...

...or Shen Tianshu...

...or Duan Jiuniang?

He surely has his strong suit to enjoy equality with Mu Xiaoqiao.

There're many capable people in this vast world.

I'm afraid it's difficult to tell...

...their strengths and weaknesses.

But I'm sure you can become one.

The premise is, we need to get out of this inn.

I don't mean to be unreasonable,...

...but here we have an important guest.

You shouldn't stay any longer.

We'll leave tomorrow morning.

Why don't you wait for another night?

You may do whatever you want tomorrow.

I won't disturb.

We have no intention of becoming your enemy.

Fine. Please stay calm.

We'll wait out here.

We'll come once you leave tomorrow.

Retreat.

Dragon Lord!

It's me who destroyed Dragon banner...

...and extinguished Dragon incense.

Release everyone here and come to me.

You do it intentionally.

This is the only way in this situation.

General Wen.

What is your main mission this time?

Protect you.

Yes. That's right.

You could see more of this in the future.

Now we should run.

But they've surrounded the inn.

Do you still remember that the man found nothing...

...after searching the whole place this morning?

So you mean...

...there could be a secret passage here.

Why, General Wen?

Is it possible that you're serving...

...that arrogant kid?

I couldn't find you many times in this inn.

Yet, you appeared so in time...

...to save that girl just now.

I'm sure you have a hideout over here.

Hurry and escape through your hole.

I'm sure you can do well after getting out of here.

Why do you still want to stay? Leave now.

Don't, Lady Zhou. He'll be killed...

...if we push him out at this time.

He almost killed you.

It's him who has stirred up the trouble,...

...but yet you're standing up for him.

Sorry, I really don't want to meddle in your private matter.

I just want to ask where that "hole" is.

Why? Do you want to enter?

Unless you get past me.

I will bring you there so long as you wouldn't harm him.

Chuchu is still up there.

I'll get ready. See you at the granary in 15 minutes.

Okay.

If we really come to a fight,...

...General Wen.

I'm afraid we're well matched.

You're right.

If you could do my master a favour...

...and release the people,...

...I'll pay you a visit and thank you...

...with a generous gift.

Fine. I'll do you a favour today.

I'll forget about Dragon incense and Dragon banner,...

...I won't kill the people as well.

However,...

...I have a smart, beloved dog.

If I couldn't find it today,...

...I'm afraid.....

I don't want to wait another day.

So today,...

...I must enter and search.

It's unrelated to your master.

I suppose you would do me a favour, wouldn't you?

Dragon Lord.

Please.

Search. -Noted.

Why don't you fight?

Let's do this, master. Don't make it difficult to me.

Wait.

They're my master's family.

They're...

...quite pretty.

You've just mentioned of doing me a favour.

Why? Would you want to go back on your words?

I suddenly have a second thought.

I think...

...a fight is more invigorating.

The secret passage is near the granary. Go now.

The young can certainly surpass the older.

Mr. Zhou will be impressed.

Fei, don't act strong. Go to Mr. Ji.

Elope with a beauty.

Is hitting the emperor against the law?

It is wrong to hit anyone.

It's the same crime between hitting a commoner or the emperor.

That's good.

What is your sense of propriety?

Are you really an emperor? Have they mistaken you?

Wait.

General Wen seems reliable.

He wouldn't confuse it.

Therefore, you're born in the wrong family.

Yes. My parents give birth to me, but you know me.

You've seen me through.

I'm getting fonder of you.

It's a loss if General Wen is injured...

...after fighting for you today.

Don't worry. He is your father's best aide.

Dragon Lord won't gain the upper hand over him.

Come. Let's find Mr. Ji at the granary.

Where is Chuchu?

Stop looking. She is here.

Fei.

Although I'm no match for Southern and Northern Sabre,...

...I suppose I have no problem in strangling...

...this lady to death.

Is this all you can do?

Remove your hand.

I won't spare you if you hurt her.

Why is she so much prettier than you?

Girls should be delicate and gentle alike her.

You fight and you kill. You could grow a face of wrinkles.

I forgot. I figure people like you...

...couldn't live up to old age.

Moreover, do I seem to fear death?

Pei!

Mr. Ji called you that. I'm sure that's your name.

May I know if Yin is your family name?

What do you know?

Lady Zhou, don't kill him.

I didn't expect him to have learned...

...Dragon Lord's Acupoint Switch.

Sorry that I overlooked.

Would you think that I joined Four Gods Mountain for nothing?

This explains the flaws in your lies.

While talking crap the whole day,...

...you wait for a chance to kill and flee.

Spare him, Lady Zhou.

Do.....

Do Master Li a favour.

Why do you mention my grandfather?

Fei, if I'm not wrong,...

...he could be a descendant of Yin Wenlan.

Shanchuan Sword?

The sword parallel to Twin Sabres?

Sword displays a noble character.

Yin Wenlan was born in a noble family.

He became a master when he was 30 years old.

Unfortunately, his whole family was exterminated...

...in an unexpected calamity.

He is a descendant of Shanchuan Sword?

Why are you glaring at me? You should've done better...

...if you're noble.

We shouldn't stay here too long. Let's leave.

"Guests coming like clouds"

Master, we've searched both floors...

...and found no trace of him.

A group of useless men.

"Animal on the scene is created by computer graphics"

Go.

Find the dog.

"Animal on the scene is created by computer graphics"

The great Northern Sabre works all day long as a chef...

...of an insignificant inn.

He has even made an underground passage.

I don't understand.

He wants to be a rat instead of a human.

What about you? You want to be a dog instead of a human.

You know nothing.

I don't know because I'm a human.

You should be glad that we let you come along. Stop barking.

I could beat you.

Gentlemen, the passage...

...is built for me and my wife-to-be.

We wanted to retire. We hid here.

Enemies could come to us...

...so we made this special passage.

It has nothing to do with Brother Ji.

Lady Zhou, Mr. Xie, Miss Wu.

Please go ahead of us. Hurry.

You first. -Okay.

Mr. Hua, is your hand okay? -Yes.

Thank you. We'll go ahead. -Please.

Go, Fei.

Pei, come with us.

Come.

So they're here. Chase after them.

Pei.

Brother Hua.

Brother Ji, I used to listen to you.

I thought he is just young and reckless,...

...but you've seen it today.

Would you still stand up for him?

I owe you my life,...

...but I won't spare him today.

Brother Hua.

You always claim that you owe him your life.

Isn't it just because he saved you...

...when you're severely wounded and almost killed...

...while trying to save a beauty when you're young?

Ji Yunchen.

The woman that he had saved had found you after that, right?

Yes.

Why did you give the last Jiuhuan Pill...

...to her to save this fatty?

My master gifted that pill when I commenced my cultivation.

It can treat old wound of an ordinary person.

You're born with illness and weak constitution.

I thought of feeding you...

...with that pill when you grow older.

Maybe it could grant you a new life.

But your plot had unexpectedly...

...been seen through.

I can't take that pill...

...after knowing what you've done.

Yes, there was a slip of the tongue when I was drunk.

Ji Yunchen, didn't you wonder...

...who made you drunk and talk...

...and put me there at the scene? -Shut up!

That woman seemed simple,...

...but in fact, deep.

She did everything to set up a trap...

...so that we turn against each other...

...and then she could save the fatty with the pill.

You owe me...

...half of your life...

...and yet you want to kill me.

Why are there 2 routes? Where are they?

They have their own conflict. We shouldn't intervene.

Brother Hua. Go.

Brother Ji, I owe you my life.

Look out for yourself since you want...

...to stand up for him.

Take care.

Brother Hua!

I kept a mechanism when I built... -Brother Hua!

...this passage.

Surprisingly, I can use it today.

Why do you come? -You don't build this passage.

Shame on you. -You.....

Lady Zhou.

Where is Mr. Hua?

Master, General Wen is still near the inn.

"Animal on the scene is created by computer graphics"

Baby, you must find that dog of mine...

...after General Wen has left.

He is very familiar with this place. He could've escaped.

Where does this route lead to?

It leads to the bottom of Mount Heng.

Did Hengshan Sect agree to building a passage...

...at the bottom of the mountain?

You have no idea. People lived in dire poverty...

...when both armies had a fierce battle here.

Hengshan Sect is always respected by the people.

Many of their disciples were born in families below the mountain...

...hence they couldn't stay indifferent.

However, meddling in...

...had drawn fire against themselves.

What happened next?

Many elders including master of the sect...

...were killed in the battle.

It's left with a few juniors.

They couldn't take up the huge responsibility.

They either went home or took a new master.

Where did the new master take them?

It's said that he is the last disciple of the old master.

I wonder if he could've reached around 17 years old when he left.

I don't know where he had gone.

I think we should go.

Go.

Fei, why does he seem all knowing?

He could've eavesdropped others' conversations...

...while traveling around the world.

Did you hit your nose?

I see your tears.

Let me see if there is nosebleed. -Fei, are you okay?

I'm okay. What are you doing?

There is an insect. Do you believe me?

Step aside. How disgusting.

You step on my foot.

Master, how long have I spent this time?

Within 15 minutes. You're much faster than last time.

Qimen Formation is really amazing.

The more I ponder, the more it intrigues me.

I took very long to perceive it.

You're smart.

You've thoroughly learned the formation right away,...

...but it has also proven my good sense of judgement.

You're a young talent of 48 Strongholds.

It isn't convenient for you to join Qimen,...

...but I want to pass down its formation...

...and skills.

I don't want it to vanish with me.

I'm honoured by your appreciation.
