Legend of Fei

Episode 7

Perhaps she is worried...

...that I would kidnap someone even precious to her.

The wine...

...is tasty and refreshing.

But I still prefer the one brewed by my father.

She is a charming beauty.

I'm charmed as soon as I see her.

Fei.

Fei.

I've told you to appreciate the wine.

You drank rapidly. You're drunk, aren't you?

Cover yourself with the blanket.

Go away.

Boss, do you have a sabre...

...this long with narrow back, but sharp?

May I know why you want to buy a sabre?

For a lady.

No hard feeling. You wouldn't seize the lady's heart.

Ladies prefer rouge and cosmetic.

But she prefers a sabre.

But the price.....

Name a price. -Then.....

It's a deal. -That's great.

Wait here. I'll get it for you.

I'll get it for you. Hold on!

Hold on! I'll be right back!

Sabre is fine. I like one who possesses a sabre.

What did I do last night?

Why can't I recall at all?

Where should I hang this?

There is nowhere.

Who is that?

Fei.

Fei.

Lady Chuchu, what is happening to you?

I have stomach pain.

I saw a medical hall on our way here.

I'll bring you to a physician. -Sure.

Wait a second.

Let's go.

We mustn't bump into Brother Xie. He could ask a lot.

He left 2 hours ago.

Again? Where did he go? -I don't know.

Fei!

Hurry!

Hold on!

Where are you going? -To shop.

Shop? It's crowded out there.

It's inappropriate to bring Lady Chuchu along.

Brother Chenfei, it's me who requested it.

You look awful. Are you ill? -No.

It's okay. I'll seek a physician for you.

Brother Chenfei, why is it inappropriate for us ladies...

...to shop? -It's fine.

Do you want to tag along?

Lady Chuchu, Mistress Li told me to keep you safe.

I'll tag along if you want to go out.

I'm here. I'll protect her.

Wait! Fei.

You're my junior. I should protect you as your senior.

I need to tag along.

Brother Chenfei, there is Chuchu's brother.

You'll stay and protect him.

I'll shop with Lady Chuchu. We'll be right back.

Fine. You may go,...

...but you must come back before night falls.

Don't go anywhere else.

Huo Liantao is actually...

...backed by the Third Prince, Chen Zichen.

The pact.

Bad news.

What is it? -Master Shen has made a move.

I'll collect the herbs.

(Tongde Medical Shop)

Green Hound to train eagle.

He will travel along with ferocious beasts.

It's Qiu Tianjin.

This is bad!

What has gone wrong? There're so many armed strangers.

This is bad! Something has happened! Run!

This is bad! Something has happened!

Run!

There is fire over there! -Fire!

Run!

Run!

I'm going to close my shop. Do you want the sabre or not?

Yes.

Okay.

Run!

Hurry! -Run!

What is happening in front? -Move.

What is going on? -Go and find out.

Hurry! Run!

Something has happened! -Something has happened! Run!

It's too dangerous! -Where to run?

Hurry!

Mr. Bai.

"Mr. Bai"

Run!

It's bad.

It's been burned down. -It's bad.

The whole inn has been burned down.

Yes.

I heard many people were burned alive in there.

What happened to the inn?

What a disaster. -It's bad.

Many people were in there. -It's been burned down.

Yes.

Who has been burned to death? -How did it happen?

How did it catch the fire? -Who knows?

It's Disha.

My brother.

Chuchu, let's find a place to hide.

What could've happened to the people inside?

It seems that they're burned to death.

Yes.

The magistrate has come.

The magistrate has come.

The magistrate has come with his men.

It's a serious incident.

They can't die for nothing. -The magistrate has come.

I'm the local magistrate. Who are you?

Why do you do this with your men?

"Magistrate Zhu" Do you know?

You're also one of them.

Why are there 2 groups?

You're quite talkative.

Have you forgotten the owner of this place?

Hear my command will do.

Step aside.

Why does the magistrate do nothing?

Master Qiu.

Noted.

Magistrate Zhu, lend us your troop.

Please.

They..... -Bring others to search inside.

Noted.

They burned it straight.

It's gone just like that.

Isn't that your contact person?

How could it be him?

Make way!

Make way!

Master, Master Shen is here.

Brother Shen.

Magistrate Zhu, I've failed...

...to manage my people...

...and added a great trouble to you.

Don't be.

Tianjin.

Are you so impatient?

I was given no choice.

The Wu's family showed up.

They come for us.

Who should bear the blame if they run away...

...before we could act?

And I did it to complete my mission.

Could you...

...be up to something else?

We've killed them now.

I still have many things to deal with.

I wouldn't bother you anymore.

I'll leave the rest to you.

I'll take my leave. -Have a safe trip.

Let's go!

See you, Brother Shen.

Master, what should we do next?

Seek the magistrate. Tell him to seal the city,...

...set a checkpoint at the city gatt and be on guard.

Don't let Qiu Tianjin ruin the great plan.

Noted.

"Sheke Inn"

Master.

They're from 48 Strongholds.

I must find a way...

...to bring Chuchu away from here.

Now I know...

...why mother is protecting 48 Strongholds...

...and why father said...

...that the people need him.

Master, a lady and a child are missing.

I was right. There're fishes that have slipped through the net.

Expand the area and search in the city.

Noted.

Fellow friends!

It's dangerous recently!

There're bandits who have sneaked into the city...

...in disguise of merchants up to something bad!

Fortunately, some vigilant people have reported to us!

The bandits have been killed!

In case there're fugitives,...

...please shut your door at night...

...and don't simply offer shelter to strangers!

The city gate has been closed and we have no carriage.

It's conspicuous to go out right now.

It's dangerous recently!

There're bandits who have sneaked into the city.....

But we don't know how many they are.

They could be expecting us when we go out.

The safest way is to find a place to hide.

Disha has just given the order...

...to search the city.

It'll stir an uproar.

We.....

Where should we hide?

I've thought of a place.

We may hide in the inner court of the magistrate.

Inner court?

It's where wives of the magistrate stay.

Disha...

...wouldn't think of that no matter how hard they search.

I'll listen to you.

Where should we go?

There.

Magistrate, send your men to assist us...

...along the way.

Noted.

Wait!

Bar the gate! -Noted.

What are you doing here? Go back.

You. -Leave.

Listen carefully. No one can come in or out.

What are you trying to do? -I.....

Leave.

Mother. -Hurry!

Leave.

You, come here. -Come.

Leave. -Come.

Leave.

Hurry!

It seems that they're looking for Chuchu.

We can't pass through.

Hide here. I'll find out the situation.

Get in.

Get in.

Don't be scared.

Stay calm. You mustn't come out no matter what happens later.

I need to find out what Disha is doing.

Even if it's left only me,...

...I'll escort you back to 48 Strongholds safely. Trust me.

You'll count from 1 to 100 from now on.

Forget it. 1,000.

Wait here.

I know this is quite tough on you,...

...but you...

...take it quite well.

Fei, don't forget...

...about my brother.

I'll send you back as I've promised.

My soul would come back even if I die.

Be careful by yourself.

Green Hound.

Come. -Leave.

Search this house as well. -Leave.

You, stop. -What are you doing?

Did you discover anything? -No.

Shen Tianshu.

Master. -Speak.

They mentioned of missing people. I figure they haven't found...

...the Wu's family.

They've stirred an uproar for a lady...

...and a young child.

Qiu Tianjin is going backward these years.

Green Hound thought we want to grab for the credit.

They searched at the east when we went east. It's very tricky.

Let them find their missing people...

...while we find our important figure.

Could they be looking for different people?

Got it.

Hou You, lead a team to the east.

You'll lead a team to the west. The rest should come with me.

Take note as Green Hound is searching at the south and north.

Try not to be interfered by them in case of complication.

Noted. Come with me.

900.

901.

902.

903.

It's me.

Fei.

Fei, you're back at last.

Change into this.

It's taken from a dead man. Bear with it.

We'll move to another place after this.

I've checked.

I've checked the inner court.

It wasn't guarded by Disha, indeed.

But I might not look like them.

Don't bother. It's dark anyway. We'll be fine.

They could still realise if we come close.

How could we sneak in?

We won't sneak in. We'll break in.

You could be seen through.

Let's go.

Lower down your head.

Have you searched here?

Stop.

Is he dead?

Hide him.

Brother.

"Chen Zichen, Third Prince"

Zichen. -Brother.

Why are you here? -It's a long story.

How are you, brother?

I thought something happened when Mr. Bai suddenly showed up.

I'm glad to see you're fine.

By the way, lend me some capable men.

I still have something to deal with. I'll talk to you later.

It's chaotic out there. You shouldn't go out.

Bear it for a moment.

I ought to go.

Is it for your friends in the inn?

Don't stop me, then.

Let Mr. Bai go to probe.

We'll update you at once.

The inn has been burned down.

And you.....

If Mr. Bai fails to probe,...

...there is no point for you to lead a team to alert the snake.

He is right.

What can I do without inner energy?

Master, we have several men killed after being left alone.

Two of them have been stripped off and their tokens have been taken.

One of them served Master Shen.

They're still protected by someone.

Master, the Wu's family was protected by 48 Strongholds...

...when they entered the city.

It includes daughter of Mistress Li,...

...Zhou Fei.

Zhou Fei?

Yes. That lady is said...

...to have inherited Li Jinrong's skills.

She is quite strong.

It isn't easy for her...

...to fish in troubled waters.

Count all tokens in 15 minutes.

5 members in a team...

...and kill those who're left alone.

Noted.

Master, what should we do about Gray Wolf?

Doesn't he want to seal and search the city with me?

I'll see...

...what he could obtain.

How is uncle doing lately?

He is fine, thank you.

As for you, we're worried when we totally...

...lost track of you.

My father always talked about you.

It's my bad.

I'll go back to see him by chance.

Brother, how much longer do you plan...

...to roam the world?

It's chaotic out there.

You don't even have someone to look after you.

I don't want to be bothered by court affairs.

This unrestricted life suits me quite well.

Well? Does it count when you're eating and sleeping in the wild?

Your Highness. Mr. Xiao.

Don't be. I'm Xie Yun. How did it go out there?

At daytime, Qiu Tianjin brought his men to the inn.

They started catching the people.

There're many capable men in the inn,...

...but they're outnumbered eventually.

They could've broken through the enemy's line,...

...but it's said there're women and children among them.

They had no choice, but to draw back into the inn.

They thought of sending someone out to seek reinforcement,...

...but Qiu Tianjin prepared in advance.

He ordered his men to surround the inn and...

...set up hundreds of poisonous barriers to seal off the road.

They set a fire.

What happened next?

This was left by Disha after searching the fire scene.

Don't you like to play with sabre? You may hang this at the tilt.

This is the pendant given by Chenfei...

...to Zhou Fei when we first arrived in Huarong.

Don't complain that I'm bad to you.

It depends on how you perform.

The inner court is at the other side of this wall.

I came at daytime. There're only 2 maids inside.

But how could we enter?

I'll bring you to flip over.

Let's remove this filthy robe.

"Huarong Magistrate"

"Impartiality and integrity"

Fei, it's safe to stay here for now.

But there're many people traveling in the mansion.

What should we do if they discover us?

We'll hide for a few days for now.

I'll bring you back to 48 Strongholds.

My mother will surely come to our aid.

I've gotten brothers from 48 Strongholds into trouble.

The meal has arrived! Come and take it!

You don't come out when I call...

...and yet, you complain to young master.

What are you murmuring?

The pancakes that you delivered 2 days ago were so hard.

You know what? I'll tell young master...

...if you have a tryst over here again.

Who would believe in you?

Young master barely comes in a year...

...so let alone the magistrate and the eldest mistress.

Don't think you're a legitimate wife.

How dare you despise me?

You don't have the right to say it.

Ouch!

Madam.

It's you again.

Have you been hit again?

Does it hurt? Let me check on you. -It doesn't hurt.

I..... -I'll take leave.

Madam, you're definitely a cat.

You produce no sound when you walk.

Come. Let's dine in the house.

What is so special about that broken house?

Let's go.

Disha is searching Huarong in 2 groups.

Here and here are their bases.

Search? -Yes.

It's said that some people had slipped through the net...

...after they had done counting the number yesterday.

They burn the inn, they seal the city...

...and some people have slipped through.

What are you trying to say, Mr. Xie?

Please stay calm. Disha lost a few men last night.

They haven't found out the culprit.

Is there someone unexpected by them in the city?

We're sure that you still remember...

...that group of bandits who passed by yesterday!

They've been killed!

There is also a remnant of Wu Fei on the run!

Why do you want to catch me? -Shut up.

She is acting in collusion with them!

We're sure that you still remember...

...that group of bandits who passed by yesterday!

They've been killed!

There is also a remnant of Wu Fei on the run!

She is acting in collusion with them!

I don't know how is my brother doing.

He is so young.

How could I explain to my parents...

...if something happens to him?

There're refugees in Huarong. They're unaware of the situation.

After listening to the accusations,...

...they thought their families...

...were harmed by those who burned the inn yesterday.

Disha burned the inn regardless of the people inside.

Many innocent people were killed in it.

Would they risk to arouse the people's rage?

Disha is nothing, but a group of scum.

They're at large and unrestricted.

I'm sure they're backed up by a force.

They're stirring the people's rage also because they can prove...

...that their targets have escaped.

They can't find them for the time being,...

...but how did they verify it?

They simply burned down the inn. All the people were burned.

How can they say that we've gone missing?

Qiu Tianjin set the fire only because...

...he didn't want to spare any life.

That is to say, they aren't searching for a person,...

...but an object.

The pact.

Do you keep anything entrusted by your parents?

That person possesses an object...

...and she is aided by a capable person unexpected by Disha.

Judging from Brother Chenfei's personality,...

...if he gets a chance to save...

...one of them or the Wu's family,...

...that person is definitely the youngest.

Therefore.....

Fei could be still alive.

Could this be what they're looking for?

"Duan Jiuniang, Hand of Withered Leaf"

My goodness! Why have you come out again?

You're barefooted. Where are your shoes?

Where are they? -Shoes.

Why did you hide them? Put them on.

Hurry and put them on!

Where are you going?
