"The Dance of the Storm"

"Episode 14"

You're a smart man.

Smart people wouldn't be shackled...

by the things of the past.

They'd live in the present.

You're all here.

Ms Zheng.

Yun Hao, my condolences.

We should leave...

the kids to handle things on their own.

I understand that you grew up with Li Jun Jie.

You both trained under Chen Gang...

and joined MOIS together.

He was your closest friend.

We were brothers.

These days,

there aren't many young people...

who'd value friendship.

Be it brothers or friends,

I left him in charge of Li Jun Jie's case...

because I trust him.

He wouldn't confound right and wrong because of such bonds.

About Li Jun Jie's betrayal towards MOIS,

I realised it was filled with loopholes.

The interrogation was done carelessly.

It seems like...

we should have looked more into his goals...

and the forces behind him.

The pursuit was not important.

We did not have an appropriate plan.

I thought so too.

I think we should continue to investigate this matter.

All the best.

Mr Mu.

It's rare we'd share the same opinion...

on a certain matter.

Let's work together.

Keep up the good work. Relax.

I'm leaving.

Are you trying to avenge him?

I just want to prove his innocence.

About Li Jun Jie's case,

what else do you know?

When I was questioning Jun Jie,

he insisted he was being framed.

The culprit...

lured him to Ma Qi Ming's location...

by sending messages.

I'm aware of this.

Didn't Zi Xuan tell you?

Yes,

but she said she did not send the last one.

Someone sent the message...

through MOIS' interval server.

Before this,

you met Li Jun Jie at the lighthouse.

What else did he say to you?

He suspects the person who framed him is Mr Mu.

Does he have any evidence?

No,

but I can confirm that...

once Jiang Hua arrived at the lighthouse,

he shot Jun Jie immediately.

Before that,

Mr Mu confiscated Jun Jie's phone...

because he left his post without permission.

By Jun Jie's suspicions,

if someone had set a trap,

causing MOIS to believe Jun Jie was instigated,

the person would most likely be Mr Mu.

Unfortunately, Zi Xuan isn't here.

Ms Zheng.

You shouldn't allow her to act on her own.

It's too dangerous.

I can't persuade her.

You should know her better than I do.

Zi Xuan made up her mind...

to investigate Ruan Tai Yuan.

In actuality, everyone knows this.

She's doing this for Li Jun Jie.

I know she's doing this for Jun Jie.

However, certain things...

cannot be reversed.

That might not be so.

Zi Xuan, I'll meet you at the tattoo parlour.

All right. I'll head over now.

Zi Xuan.

Do not head to Ruan Tai Yuan on your own.

It's too dangerous.

I do not believe Jun Jie is dead.

I need to find him.

If he was truly killed,

I'll avenge him.

Zi Xuan, answer me after thinking it through.

I'm very certain about this.

Will you help me?

I knew...

I can't possibly change your mind.

Zi Xuan.

I do not want you to risk your life.

However, I've a way...

for you to infiltrate Ruan Tai Yuan's circle safely.

Would you like to give it a try, Zi Xuan?

This is my plan.

You shall impose as a female assassin.

Her name is Datura.

Apparently,

Ruan Tai Yuan hired her once for her services.

Datura was secretly arrested a year ago.

She has been incarcerated at Prison No. 794 the entire time.

This matter...

is only known to a few higher-ups of the police.

In order to retrieve valuable information,

the government and police...

did not expose this to the public.

The police has been questioning Datura...

for over a year.

Datura is shrewd.

She hasn't revealed anything useful.

We're all left helpless.

Fortunately, before she was arrested,

no one...

has seen her true appearance.

I would like to meet Datura.

I can arrange that.

I will handle the procedures through...

the executives.

You're going to visit Datura covertly.

However, whether you're able to retrieve...

necessary information from her,

that depends on your luck.

I want to find out her information in detail.

She goes by the codename, Datura.

She's Asian-Chinese. Her specific nationality is unknown.

She's around 25 to 26 years old.

Did you notice anything wrong?

Boss.

I watched the video again.

There isn't any sign of editing.

All right. Get some rest.

We gave you three days.

Now, finish him!

Afterwards,

my parents abandoned me and went overseas.

I was raised by my grandmother.

However, my grandmother passed away a few years ago.

Back then, it seems like...

I was left all alone without anyone to rely on...

for the rest of my life.

I met Li Jun Jie then.

He saved me from the hands...

of an assassin.

Did you know how terrified I was?

I asked him...

if he was a secret agent.

I asked if he was the...

CIA or the FBI.

I myself wasn't sure...

if he was good or bad.

However, I knew that...

I could rely on him.

Thus, I followed him on the plane without hesitation...

and came all the way to Banang.

I came to where you are.

I'll trust whoever he trusts...

and hate whoever he hates.

He's a good person.

That's why I trust him.

Xiao Zheng, do you think he's doing fine right now?

Would they beat him up or berate him?

What happens if he's injured?

Would they starve him?

Whenever I shut my eyes,

all I could think about is him.

I'm very concerned about his safety.

That's why I think,

if he's able to survive his,

it doesn't matter if he doesn't love me.

I must stay by his side.

I must help him out.

I'll be someone...

who is useful to him.

Jing Wen.

Don't be afraid. Don't worry.

You have the rest of us.

Boss is here. I'm here.

We're your family.

Jing Wen.

From the first moment I met you,

I fell in love with you.

You made my heart skip.

You made me realise what it means to be in the presence of a goddess.

Even if a day comes...

when Brother Jun Jie is no longer around,

I hope I'd be able to be someone you could rely on.

What do you mean by when Jun Jie is no longer around?

Did something happen to him?

Nothing.

Nothing.

Xiao Zheng, be honest with me.

Did something happen to him?

Nothing happened.

Look at boss.

He's still planning the rescue.

I'm going to ask him myself.

Meng Liang.

Meng Liang!

Jing Wen.

-Meng Liang. -Jing Wen.

Jing Wen.

Jing Wen.

Jing Wen.

Jing Wen.

What's the matter?

Tell me.

What happened to Li Jun Jie?

Nothing has happened.

Why are you lying?

What happened to him?

I'm not lying.

Stop overthinking.

Why are you still saying that?

Hurry up and tell me what happened.

Brat, Jun Jie will be fine.

Did you see anything?

I'm sure you saw something.

I'm going to check it out.

Let me go!

Brat.

Sometimes, what you see...

might not be the truth.

Trust me.

You call me the sly, right?

Let me go!

Trust my judgment.

You need to trust Jun Jie!

He's a good lad.

He will not die this easily.

What did you see?

What do you mean by seeing isn't believing?

Let me go.

Let me go!

What's happened to him?

What's going on?

That's enough.

What's happened to him?

-How pretty. -Look.

Yes.

This is the one.

I like it.

Are you Ms Zhou Zi Xuan of MOIS?

Hello.

Excuse me.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Don't mention it.

I didn't know you were so young and beautiful.

You do not resemble a female agent at all.

Besides female criminals,

we're all men here.

Your visit...

is a change of scenery.

Please lead the way.

Sure.

Datura is extremely violent and ruthless.

She has been incarcerated for over a year.

She wouldn't cooperate at all.

I know.

The visitation procedures are completed.

When can I meet Datura?

Ms Zhou.

There's an order to all things.

For a dangerous criminal like her,

if contingency occurs...

during the visitation,

we will not be able to explain ourselves.

You're well aware...

that many came over time.

There were lawyers, inspectors...

and negotiators.

None of them was able to get anything out of her.

They left defeated.

Fine. I'll drop by another time.

All right.

Goodbye.

Take care.

By the way,

MOIS is hosting a ball tonight.

The police commissioner of Banang will be attending as well.

I'm planning to compliment...

how strict and responsible...

the prison is managed.

Yes.

Thanks for that.

Of course.

The benefits are pretty great too.

You're all permitted to fool around at work.

Not at all.

Ms Zhou, you're hilarious.

When can I meet Datura?

You can meet her right now.

Ms Zhou, you're very lucky.

It's show time.

Brothers, get ready.

Stand guard outside.

Captain Zhou.

I'm warning you for the last time.

It's not too late to regret your decision.

I've met plenty of criminals.

I have never met someone like her.

I heard you.

Are you suspecting me or investigating me?

We're just having a conversation.

Why are you so defensive?

I've never felt this way with you.

You're my superior after all.

Ms Zheng.

You transferred all the way to Banang from the headquarters.

Are you challenging my authority...

or are you here for other reasons?

You're still the same.

Whenever you want to evade a question,

you'd evade the subject entirely.

Trust me.

Whatever you're looking for,

I'll disclose everything to you.

There are too many loopholes in Li Jun Jie's case.

You concluded the case carelessly.

Before obtaining the truth,

why did you insist...

he was being instigated?

Li Jun Jie ran away on his own.

He was abducted by terrorists.

I did not fabricate such facts.

Mu Chuan, do you dare swear...

that you have nothing to do with...

framing Li Jun Jie?

Without evidence,

do not accuse me.

This isn't the way of MOIS.

I hope that you will never...

allow me to find evidence to my doubts.

Ms Zheng, getting to the truth...

and persisting through are part of your character.

You assisted Zi Xuan to act on her own.

You're putting her in danger.

Zhou Zi Xuan is a specialist of MOIS.

She's investigating a case for MOIS.

Coming from you,

why do you make it seem like I'm harming her?

Ms Zheng.

You've never changed over the years.

All that you're doing...

isn't for the case.

You're right, Mu Chuan.

Zi Xuan's mother was my closest friend.

You never revealed how the tragic death of...

Zi Xuan's parents 17 years ago...

was related to you.

You're wrong, Amanda.

Smart people...

would not be shackled by things of the past.

Datura, come down here.

Someone is here to see you.

Cutie.

Why didn't you come sooner?

Where were you last night?

I'm right here.

You're late.

Get out of here.

Hello, Datura.

Hello.

Pretty girl.

Get out of here too.

I wasn't lying.

Please leave us.

I'll leave you to it then.

Guys, protect Captain Zhou.

The usual.

Ten minutes.

Five minutes.

Two minutes.

Why are you in a daze?

Fork out the money.

All right.

I bet ten minutes.

Five minutes.

I'll be frank.

I came...

for your help.

Me?

My help?

I have heard...

all about you.

Since you're aware,

why are you here?

I want you to help me.

Get me a death penalty.

Go home.

Don't waste your time.

You forged nationalities of various countries.

Datura isn't your real name.

Do you know...

why...

I'm called the Datura?

Many don't know.

I don't know either.

All I know...

is when I kill,

I'll leave a stalk of...

black...

Datura Flower.

It's perfect.

You should be aware of your current situation.

I suggest you reconsider.

Let me ask you a question.

Do you know...

where do men go...

after death?

Either heaven or hell.

I'm going to hell for sure.

You're still young.

Perhaps, you might have a chance to leave this place.

You've a pretty face.

It would be a pity...

if it's scarred.

No way.

She's playing different tricks again.

Hey,

Zhou Zi Xuan is pretty lucky.

Isn't it?

The lawyer previously...

was beaten up while kneeling.

That was tragic.

Warden, you're losing.

Don't be ridiculous. It's not over yet.

Over the years,

you wandered all around the world...

and completed assassinations.

Do you even have a shred of remorse?

You're a woman as well.

Do you know how many...

lost their loved ones because of you?

How many children lost their parents...

because of you?

I've sinned.

Please forgive me...

and cleanse my soul.

I'm willing to offer my life...

as a redemption to all my victims.

Datura, I'm warning you.

This is your last chance.

I love death the most.

If you're able to help me,

I'll do my best...

to fulfil all your needs.

That's not a bad offer.

What do you want?

Let me see.

An important friend of mine is abducted.

I'm going to save him with your identity.

With your calibre?

I know that by using your identity...

I got it.

This friend...

is important to you, right?

Yes.

Come. I'll tell you.

I'll tell you what I want.

I want...

I want...

I want you to die.

I came to see you...

in order to save...

someone I cherish.

How boring.

I'm tired.

Tell me your conditions.

I'll agree to it all.

I'm only asking you to help me this once.

Perhaps, you never had someone you cherished.

You'd never understand...

what it means to protect someone.

Goodbye.

Here's a kind reminder.

If you do not use my identity,

you might be able to meet the person you're looking for.

Sometimes,

facing reality...

is another form...

of protecting someone.

Music.

Music.

Where's my music?

Where's my music?

My music.

My music.

This is wonderful.

Warden, you lost this time.

It's unexpected.

Warden, apologies.

What are you doing?

Warden.

You can't take it back.

You guys are dull.

Work hard.

Hello.

Zi Xuan, I was told.

Be patient.

There's a solution to everything.

Amanda. I really don't know what to do anymore.

Zi Xuan, listen to me.

We're unable to confirm...

Li Jun Jie's death right now.

I gave it some thought.

Allowing you to use Datura's identity rashly...

might be a mistake.

I'm certain he's not dead.

He hovered at the verge of death many times.

He managed to survive every time.

Yun Hao teamed up with...

the police to come up with another rescue operation.

Hurry up and join them.

I want to verify his safety on my own.

Please help me once more.

I understand how you feel.

The current situation is unfavourable to us.

Despite using Datura's identity,

you can't...

I said, he's still alive.

I can feel it.

Zi Xuan.

This isn't the time to be emotional.

You must analyse...

the current situation calmly.

I'm begging you.

Just help me this once.

I'll contact them again.

However, prioritise your own safety.

I understand.

Thanks.

Goes by the codename, Datura.

Characteristics include a Datura tattoo.

She specialises in hand-to-hand combat, disguise and firearms.

Specific weapons include the Datura dart.

She's a bounty hunter part of the Assassin Society.

There hasn't been a record of assassination failure.

In the year 2017,

after an assassination mission in England,

she was pursued by Italian mafia.

She escaped to Southeast Asia.

After that, police deployed a spy.

In one years' time,

the spy managed to infiltrate her circle.

She was finally arrested.

Also, you must find out...

specific information about her deal with Ruan Tai Yuan.

This is extremely important.

Welcome.

Hello, miss.

What kind of flowers would you like to buy?

I'm just looking around.

All right. Check out these Campanula.

They are really fragrant.

Who would you like to buy these for?

I can recommend something.

These are Leucadendron.

These are new arrivals.

They are imported Chamomile.

Do you like them?

What are these?

Miss, you sure have a good eye.

These green Datura are very rare.

Coincidentally,

we brought in a few stalks today.

It carries a beautiful meaning.

It symbolises ceaseless hope.

I want these.

All right.

Miss, these are pretty expensive.

I want all of them.

All right.

Give me a moment. I'll wrap them up for you.

Warden, guess what?

Warden, Zhou Zi Xuan is here again.

The world has changed.

Why are women so bold?

How about this?

Let's place another bet.

Come on.

Here.

Here.

I knew you'd be back.

I came to give these to you.

I'll accept the flowers.

The colour is unique,

but I prefer black...

or red.

I'll take them back if you don't like them.

The colour isn't special,

but...

they are pretty.

The flowers are delivered.

I'm leaving.

Hold on.

You did not...

come just to give me flowers, did you?

Come. Tell me.

It doesn't matter if I said anything.

That might not be true.

I've been...

incarcerated here alone for 18 months.

Talk to me. Tell me stories.

If I'm interested,

perhaps,

I might help you out.

The person who was abducted...

is my lover.

Your lover?

Here's a word for you.

All men...

are heartless.

There are no exceptions.

He's different.

How is he different?

Tell me.

How did you know each other?

It's believed that an angel fell from the sky.

He fell from the sky as well.

You sure have a weird preference.

If he fell on his face,

he'd be hideous.

You're right.

But he isn't ugly at all.

Come on!

Gosh, that hurt!
