I've been walking it.

I left at first light,

but the sun's getting high,

so I just got to get through this journey.

My biggest hopes are that I'll find some friendly faces,

people who want another team member,

Already malnourished from her sparse vegan diet,

makani now faces a grueling 3-mile journey southwest

to the nearest water source.

In these temperatures, she will easily burn

over 300 calories an hour,

putting her at risk of severe dehydration and heat exhaustion.

I was working hard at my last camp.

But it was not appreciated, so...

2 miles to the north, makani's former partner,

bulent, adjusts to life as a solo survivalist.

It's my house now.

I can have my dining room right there,

bedroom, entertainment,

because it's darker, freaky-deaky, you know.

the pressure to find alternative food sources is mounting,

as they compete with deadly african crocodiles for protein.

by being close with suzanne

Losing makani definitely puts more stress

between suzanne and I,

considering we are not exactly getting along all the time.

That could lead to bigger arguments.

It could lead to just absolute disaster within this challenge.

I've had two partners that I really bonded with

and really enjoyed having.

But now I'm again stuck with seth.

Now, with makani gone,

there goes my chance to leave here with a partner.

I feel like I'm alone again.
