(BOY) Five years ago, my dad left.

I liked it that way.

We made a collage from things
we found on the beach

to take our minds
off what had happened.

We've been doing it now
for almost five years.

My mom says we'll finish it some day.

Then two weeks ago,
the worst thing happened:

my mom told me she wanted
to get married again.

Just when our lives are fine,
she does something like this.

she'd have learned a lesson.
