A small town boy trying to live the American dream.

I'm a director, screenwriter and international traveler.

I've been all around the world.

South Africa, Sweden, Israel,

Iran, Russia.

But this is the first time that I've ever visited Asia.

So, I just got off the plane, checked into my hotel,

but I'm actually here to meet a local girl

that I met in an online forum for filmmakers.

I know what you're thinking.

But we've been chatting online for the last six months.

We really hit it off.

And now she's invited me to visit.

She's an aspiring director like me.

So I'm super stoked to get some great footage.

And if I'm lucky, pick up some culture and some scenes

that'll inspire my next film project.

But I cannot reveal that plot just yet.

No spoilers.

Her name is Kate and these are some of the photos

that she sent me.

Hard to miss, huh?

She is, she's hot.

Anyhow, about two weeks ago,

she invited me to visit her hometown through this email.

Said she really wants to meet me in the flesh,

and well, I really wanted to meet her too.

So now I'm here, and tomorrow I leave for her hometown,

which is a small village, about 200 miles from the city.

(phone rings)

Hey GT.

- [GT] Hey you made it in okay

- Yeah, I just got here.

I checked into the hotel.

- [GT] You must be so tired.

- I'm pretty tired.

- [GT] Have you eaten?

- Yes I ate something.

- [GT] It's been so long since I've seen you.

I haven't seen you since graduation.

Now we're overseas together.

- [GT] I know, it's crazy.

for a frigging romantic day tomorrow.

(Jason growls)

So it's 9:30 a.m and Kate asked me to be here

at 9:30 a.m. this morning,

but there's no sign of her yet.

I'm really hoping that she comes.

Yeah, I admit that I'm a little nervous,

anxious nervous, but nervous.

I mean, I did travel thousands of miles to see her and well,

I just don't see her around yet.

I mean, wouldn't you be nervous if you traveled

thousands of miles to see somebody?

that I am enamored with.
