we had to break it up into two parts.

We're serving you two back-to-back balls,

featuring five houses each.

The category is Grand March,

a staple of the ballroom scene, might I add.

Tonight, our first group of houses

will execute the five major elements of vogue...

Catwalk, hands, duck walk,

floor performance, spins and dips...

In an all-house performance.

The stakes are sky-high.

By the end of this ball, one house will be sent home,

and the rest will begin their quest to reign supreme

and pump towards gaining possession

of that legendary trophy and earn $100,000.

Tonight, each house will present their Grand March.

Our judges will score them from 1 to 10,

with 10 being the highest score.

Houses with the highest scores will be safe,

while the two lowest-scoring houses

will enter the redemption battle,

for a last chance at survival.

As we know, Grand March is a very important part

of showcasing what your house is about,

and tonight, we want to see the elements of vogue.

And if they don't bring those elements, they got to go.

The role of the house parent, for me,

is coaching, is mentoring.

more than I care about us being on the floor.

Becky is our diva of the group.

I'm very passionate about ballroom culture,

and vogue is, like,

the best way for me to express myself.

Voguing is a vibe.

Like, you have to catch that wave,

and once you catch the wave, like, you need to ride it.

I'm Dizzy.

This is the baby. This is Jah.

Jah is super quiet, super shy, really stand back,

but when we make it to the floor,

he's one of the loudest people in the room

when, like, his passion is on.

Jah is very acrobatic.

Very high-energy.

When you see him perform, you see it in his eyes.

The difference between this team

and any other team that I've seen compete is

I don't need my kids to carry me.

And my kids don't need me to carry them.
