Original subtitles

This time,

with your elder brother and Fengqing’s help

I am like a tiger which has grown wings. (even more powerful than before)

Do not worry too much.

This

is a very precious thing

left to me by the Late Emperor.

It must be very important for Your Majesty then.

Important things

should be with important people.

The person I am most worried about

when leaving the palace this time...

is you.

If you are in danger,

just blow it.

Your Majesty...

Lan State officers and men!

Kill!

Kill! Kill! Kill!

Your Majesty, our army

is already at the gates of Shangdang City.

Sizhou

that was already besieged by Jiuliao is in the west.

Dingzhou, which has been captured by Jiuliao

is in the east.

No matter which side I choose,

I will have to fight a hard battle.

Not only fight it but also win it.

Li State’s crisis is expected to be resolved.

General Miao, what do you think?

Should I help Sizhou or Dingzhou first?

Humble general thinks

that our army can attack Dingzhou

with its main forces.

After Dingzhou reports an emergency and calls for help,

Jiuliao’s army in Sizhou will reply to this call.

At the same time

this humble general will rush the troops to the rescue of Sizhou

so the encirclement can be broken.

Finally, Lan will leave the coalition forces

and go back to Dingzhou to join the main army forces.

Dingzhou can be reclaimed then.

Our army has already gone deep into

the hinterland of Li State.

If General Miao

leads the army alone,

this humble general is worried

that some issues may crop up unexpectedly.

Large-scale war is just around the corner.

Why do you still have so many

suspicions about me?

Do you not know that disturbing the morale of the army

is a taboo for military strategists?

The war is imminent.

The most important thing nowadays

is the stability of the army.

Xue Bi, you will stay here with me tomorrow

to come to my assistance.

General Miao will lead the troops and Wang Shijie

will lead the rescue forces.

Humble general accepts the order.

Xue Bi, pass my orders.

Tonight, the fourth shift makes a meal and the fifth shift sets forth.

Beloved officials, withdraw first.

Yes.

General Miao, please stay.

General Miao,

you mustn’t worry too much.

I never doubted

your loyalty towards Great Lan.

Your Majesty is wise.

I am leading a new army this time.

Therefore, the most important thing is that morale is stable.

I know that you have a deep

blood feud with Li State,

but since we are faced with a formidable foe,

I really hope that you can be obedient

and be clear on matters of principle.

Your Majesty, rest assured.

The humble general will live up to expectations.

The humble general asks to withdraw.

I am taking my leave.

Third Elder Brother,

are you worried about Miao Minghu?

My rescue mission in Li

is mainly set to drill the new army.

It is necessary to show the strength

of Lan State in front of Gao Yang.

I am worried that Gao Yang will hatch a sinister plot.

Gao Yang is insidious and deceitful,

but Li State will be greatly weakened

after the war with Jiuliao.

He won’t be able

to scheme something in this short period of time.

Set your mind at rest, Third Elder Brother.

I hope so too.

How long will the Sizhou’ grain supplies

sustain us?

Reporting to Prime Minister Gu,

there are no food supplies in the city.

I have sent soldiers to collect the food

by going from door to door of the citizens.

Collecting food by going from door to door?

Subordinate could not help but do so.

If there is no food in the city,

soldiers will not be able to guard it.

Judging Juliao’s fierceness

they will wantonly plunder the city after entering it.

Commoners will face the same lot

regardless of who wins.

When will Lan Army’s

reinforces arrive?

I only heard that Lan State has sent the troops

but I have not received any other news since then.

Report!

Reporting to Lord Prime Minister Gu,

we have just received a pigeon with the news

that the Lan State’ reinforcements

are on the way to Sizhou City.

Great.

Sizhou City can be saved!

But Lord Prime Minister,

after arriving at Shangdang County,

Lan Army did not come to Prime Minister’s rescue

but headed northeast

towards Dingzhou.

What?!

Charge!

Release!

Kill!

Charge!

Report!

Dingzhou has been besieged by a large number of Lan soldiers!

What?

Take half of the troops to support them!

Yes!

Reporting to Lord Prime Minister,

Jiuliao’s half of the troops

surrounding Sizhou has quietly withdrawn.

Let’s go.

The reinforcements are already at our gates.

Fight against Jiuliao side by side with Lan Army!

Brothers!

Kill them for me! Kill!

Charge!

King of Lan has ordered

that after rescuing Prime Minister from Sizhou

Lan and LI forces should team up

to drive Jiuliao out of Sizhou.

Many thanks.

Jiuliao’ soldiers are coming!

Prime Minister Gu!

Now that the siege of Sizhou is over,

recapturing Dingzhou is also not a problem.

How are you going

to repay our Great Lan?

King of Lan has travelled a long distance

to arrive in Great Li.

His Majesty will surely thank Lan State

after we repulse Jiuliao together.

Don’t bother.

The appropriate gift is in front of you already.

Why did King of Rui make this statement?

Do you see the Jiuliao flag over there?

If I take the flag over,

Dingzhou

will become your thank-you gift to us.

Royal Highness,

how can you joke like that?

Who is joking?

I will give you a chance

to bet.

Whoever gets the flag first

will get Dingzhou.

Royal Highness King of Rui,

I never talk about betting

during war...

We have half of it each. How should we calculate it?

Great Lan has dozens of them.

I am giving it to you.

Withdraw!

Dingzhou was taken over.

The siege of Sizhou has also been solved.

Xiao Fengming has real skills.

Lan State’ new army is in full swing

and is irresistible.

Xiao Fengming’s training of the new troops

turned them into well-trained and powerful army.

It will be

a formidable opponent in the future

Wait till I use Lan Army

to get rid of Jiuliao and then we’ll talk again.

Your Majesty is wise.

Consume their troops

and save our own strength.

I even left a huge gift

for Xiao Fengming.

Has Your Majesty already forgotten?

Half of the treasure map

is still in Lan State Xiao imperial family’ hands.

Maybe

Xiao Fengming is carrying it with him?

Your imply that...

This humble official means that

the siege of Sizhou has been solved

and Jiuliao is no longer a problem.

We should take another 30% of our troops

and have them

fight bitterly with each other.

In case

they are ambushed by Jiuliao...

Grand Tutor, this is truly a great idea.

Your Majesty, the weather is cold and cool.

You’d better put on a robe.

I dare ask Your Majesty,

are you missing Zhaoyi Nie?

You are only partially right.

I am more worried about Fifth Younger Brother.

It seems that he broke into the enemy camp today

and seized the military flag.

He is truly too impulsive.

Your Majesty should relax.

King of Rui has a sense of propriety.

He will not act foolishly.

I hope so.

Your Majesty, let’s go back.

General Miao and Commander Xue

are waiting to discuss the military situation.

All right.

Paying respects to Your Majesty.

Where is King of Rui?

Reporting to Your Majesty

King of Rui went out alone and has not come back yet.

It’s all right, I will wait for him inside.

Withdraw.

Yes.

Who the hell are you,

daring to make a surprise attack on me?

It turns out it is King of Lan, Xiao Fengming.

They say that although you have ascended the throne in your youth,

you have a keen intellect and are brilliant.

I think you are a natural-born talent.

It turns out, that you have

the blood of our planet race in your body.

What are you doing in Fengqing’ room?

Now that you are here,

I will look for the treasure map.

Don’t think about it.

I do not need you to talk.

I will find it in your head myself.

Third Elder Brother!

Long time no see.

Are you surprised

that your ability to control time

is useless on me?

Who are you?

I am of the same kind as you are.

Haven't you noticed yet?

Who is of the same kind as you?

Who ordered you to assassinate him?

Where did you put

Heavenly Tear gemstone?

You are Sacred Priestess’ son.

I don't understand what you're talking about.

Are you not clear-headed yet?

Do you think you are the same

as these

ordinary people?

You have the same

as us.

Your abilities

outdistances all the people here.

If they discover your abilities,

they will fear you and they will abandon you.

My Third Elder Brother will never abandon me.

What about your Mother?

Did she not tell you?

My mother is dead.

We cannot die.

Do not say “we”.

You cannot deny it.

We are much nobler than

all the people on this planet.

We have lived on this planet

for thousands of years.

We have extraordinary

and ever-increasing capabilities.

We can live longer.

We can rule this world.

How else can you explain this magical power?

How else can you explain

that you have different abilities

from others since you were a child?

You must have felt confused,

you must have been lonely.

The reason why you are always so careful

is that you are afraid that the others will realize

that you are an anomaly.

I am no different.

After we take control

of this planet,

they will be like mole crickets and ants,

kneeling before us,

begging for pity.

Even such outstanding people

like King of Lan, Xiao Fengming and King of Li, Gao Yang

are nothing at all.

You can always replace them.

Whole Lan State and Li State

will be yours.

The whole world will be yours.

Give me the gemstone

and I will prove everything to you.

You wish.

Did you use Heavenly Tear gemstone

to guard the woman you love?

That’s wonderful.

My younger fellow apprentice is in Great Lan’ palace.

We will succeed.

You saved your imperial brother

which means

that you are going to lose that woman.

Third Elder Brother!

Who is it?!

Servants!

What happened?! What happened?!

- Elder Sister! - Zhaoyi!

- Elder Sister! - What happened?

Are you alright, Elder Sister?

Zhaoyi, did you have a nightmare?

Have you ever seen

a hand that can

extend itself without end?

Xia Lan, Zhaoyi was scared to death.

I will go and fetch the Imperial Physician.

No! I really saw a hand

reaching from that window

to my pillow right now.

How could it be a person then? It must have been a ghost!

This humble one remembered

that this palace was haunted

after Jieyu Bao died.

What does it have to do with Elder Sister?

Could it be that Elder Sister killed her?

No,

they are after this gemstone.

Yang Zhi, Xia Lan.

Wait till the dawn breaks

and go to Yi palace and King of Rui’s mansion

to check whether there are any news

about His Majesty and King of Rui on the battlefield.

- Yes. - Yes.

Grand Tutor, did you see

the secret treasure map

in Xiao Fengming’s mind?

King of Rui’s sudden appearance

has sabotaged this humble official’ plan.

Did Xiao Fengming discover Grand Tutor?

He may be aware

of Grand Tutor’s original identity.

He can withdraw the reinforcements immediately.

Why don’t we act overnight

and use this opportunity to dispatch troops

and take them by surprise

and capture Xiao Fengming?

I don’t believe he won’t

trade the half of the treasure map

for his own life.

Your Majesty,

everyone knows that Li State has asked Lan State

for reinforcements in the name of the arranged marriage.

Although war rejects no deception (all is fair in war)

but it will let Your Majesty

be seen as someone of a wrong conduct.

It will also give King of Lan

an excuse to fight back.

If they switch sides

and attack us together with Jiuliao

then we are really going to be

attacked front and rear.

Besides, Princess Yan has just entered Lan State.

If Your Majesty cannot hold back,

all that has been achieved will be spoiled.

Grand Tutor tells me to wait.

What I hate the most in my life

is to wait again and again.

What I hate the most is hypocrisy.

Does Grand Tutor want me to show

a hypocritical smile

to Xiao brothers again and again?

Your Majesty, you have to bear it for a while.

Although I did not get anything

from King of Lan yesterday,

but this humble official

got an important clue regarding the treasure.

What clue?

The Xiao Brothers

already have the key

to open the treasure.

What treasure?

Your Majesty must not stir the grass and startle

the snake. (alert them with rush actions)

Winners do not have to use thousands upon thousands of men and horses

as long as they use them properly.

In a thousand and one ways there are one or two

that will make Lan Army

collapse like a landslide.

Your Majesty,

you can consider

reducing our military strength

then use up the Lan Army’ strength

to gut the Jiuliao.

We can benefit from it.

Grand Tutor’s plan is very good.

As long as Xiao brothers are not

of one mind,

we will gain a good chance.

How could that be?

Who does not know that Xiao Fengming’s

most favourite person

is exactly his fifth younger brother, Xiao Fengqing?

How can Xiao brothers

have a fall out?

Humble official has a mind which perceives both the past and future.

The key to the treasure

lies in a woman.

Although this woman changed her name,

but this humble official knows

she was one of the subjects of the Li Kingdom.

They say that although you have ascended the throne in your youth,

you have a keen intellect and are brilliant.

I think you are a natural-born talent.

It turns out you have

our planet race’ blood in your body.

This drop of blood...

will make Royal Highness Crown Prince strong

and let Royal Highness Crown Prince

protect Fengqing and

Royal Highness’ land all his life.

When Royal Highness becomes emperor one day,

Royal Highness must definitely remember

to never give your blood

to other people.

Your Majesty, you are awake.

My head hurts so much.

What happened exactly?

Your Majesty,

you were ambushed by an assassin yesterday.

Thankfully, King of Rui rescued you in time.

It was a narrow squeak.

If King of Rui was one step too late,

the consequences would be unimaginable.

Third Elder Brother.

King of Rui.

You are awake.

I am fine.

Did you see

that strange person in the cloak?

Third Elder Brother, younger brother failed to see him clearly.

But younger brother has found out

that he was wearing Li State’ military boots.

There is a good chance

that he was sent here by Li State’ Gao Yang.

He just did not expect

that Third Elder Brother would appear

in my tent.

His target should, therefore, be me.

Where is your guardian stone?

I have left it in the palace.

I know that your guardian stone

is absolutely extraordinary.

How could you leave it

in the palace so casually?

I do not know what will happen

if Empress Dowager

or this mysterious person takes it away.

Who did you ask to take care of it?

I...

gave it to Mama Ling

How could you leave it with Mama Ling?

Hurry back to the palace

and bring the stone back.

Third Elder Brother,

younger brother cannot leave at the moment.

Jiuliao is not defeated yet.

If Li State makes another trick this time,

Great Lan can be attacked by the enemy on both sides.

General Miao has arrived!

Paying respects to Your Majesty, King of Rui.

How is the war situation outside?

Reporting to Your Majesty,

after recovering Dingzhou and Sizhou,

Jiuliao’s morale of the troops gradually collapsed.

We should follow up a victory with hot pursuit.

But Li State is reducing its troops and looking on.

Humble general dare not make a move

and went back to the camp to ask Your Majesty for instructions.

Your Majesty, if the last night’s assassin

was sent by King of Li Gao Yang,

then we might fall into a trap

set by Li State

when we rush to their rescue.

Imperial Brother, it is still

not too late for us to withdraw the troops

before we

go too deep into Li State.

The fact that the man wore Li State’ boots does not necessarily mean

that it was actually Li State

that sent the assassin.

Maybe it was Jiuliao’ plan

to send someone to sow discord

and destroy the alliance

between Li and Lan.

Withdrawing troops

at this time is a small matter in the Li and Lan’ relationship

but it is a big matter when it comes to the safety of the people in the world.

I cannot take this risk.

Third Elder Brother, only Empress Dowager

has seen the original letter of credentials sent by the Li State.

How can we be sure that

Empress Dowager and Gao Yang

have not reached a more private agreement in private?

Mother is dominant

but she would never betray Great Lan.

Mother and son are of one mind.

Younger brother naturally understands

that between Third Elder Brother and Empress Dowager

blood is thicker than water,

but...

Xiao Fengqing!

Your Majesty, calm your anger.

Please focus on the overall situation.

Pass my decree.

The matter if the assassin

is not to be mentioned again.

Offenders will be punished by military law.

Additionally,

our army is like a hot knife splitting a bamboo.

Jiuliao’s matter must be pursued by victory.

Yes.

Pass my additional decree.

King of Rui will return to the palace on the same day

to handle the palace affairs.

In addition,

you must bring back all the things

that your mother has left you.

Do you understand?

Younger brother will obey the imperial decree.

Withdraw.

Yes.

It’s you.

It was you who saved me when I was little.

It is me.

You are Meiren Ji,

Fengqing’s mother.

here, they call me Sacred Priestess.

On Your planet,

I am called Ji Rousang.

Are you still alive?

What you see

is only my phantom.

My body

is still in the crystal coffin.

Fengqing has been looking for you.

He misses you very much.

I understand.

Qianqian,

so it was Fengqing

who has brought you here.

If the phoenix returns one day,

Fengqing

will become the ruler of this planet.

So the brothers

are bound to separate?

Yes.

But Nie Wushuang’s rebirth

is a motivation for them

but also an obstruction.

Therefore you cannot have

feelings for them.

If they fall in love with you,

they will eventually hurt each other.

Since Heavenly Tear gemstone is on you,

you have to take care of it well.

You cannot let Gui Jiao and Jiao Tong get it.

[00:00:-01.-01][00:00:-01.-01]

Xia Lan?

Xia Lan?

The iron hand turned out to be you.

I never thought

that the thing I was looking for

was actually with you.

You freak,

aren’t you afraid that I will report you to His Majesty?

Go and report it.

Do you know that King of Rui

and I am of the same kind?

It was King of Rui who told me

to get the Heavenly Tear back.

Go and report it.

What if

King of Rui’ eyes

are like mine

and fall out in public like this?

What if King of Rui’s arms

are also

made of iron like mine,

then what should be done?

Reporting to Your Majesty,

Concubine Du’s maid-in-waiting Jiao Tong

is very bizarre.

She is far from ordinary people.

I saw it with my own eyes.

She can extend her arms at will

She sneaked into Cuihua Pavilion last night

I have wounded her to protect myself.

Who knew that her wound

was completely different from ordinary people.

How was it different?

Her arms are made of iron.

How is that possible?

How can ordinary people’s hands

be made of iron?

Your Majesty,

Wushuang saw it with her own eyes.

It is absolutely true.

The reason why I delayed reporting about it

till this hour

was that Jiao Tong

has come to Cuihua Pavilion again.

This time I also noticed

that her eyeballs

could be taken out at will.

What?

Your Majesty,

Concubine Du was concocting

medicine and elixirs in Li State

and she had a close contact

with some strange people.

This is the truth.

Jiao Tong at her side

is of unknown status and behaves strangely.

If we leave her in the palace...

If she

has any sinister plans towards His Majesty,

it will be difficult for us to prevent it.

Zhaoyi Nie,

I will ask you again.

Is everything that you said now

really true?

Yes. it is absolutely true.

Servants! Call for Concubine Du!

Yes.

Tell Concubine Du to bring Jiao Tong with her

and come over.

Ask Concubine Shu and Concubine Yun

to come here as well.

Go to the Imperial Physician Bureau and tell Imperial Physician Du Ruo to come.

Then order the palace guards to send ten experts

to stand outside Yi Palace

to be ready at any time.

Yes.

Imperial Concubine Du has arrived.

Female servant pay respects to Your Majesty.

Wishing Your Majesty peace and happiness.

Concubine Du, you brought the maid-in-waiting at your side

at your side from Li State.

Yes.

I do not know why is Your Majesty asking about

00:41:30,080 Zhaoyi Nie said

that she saw with her own eyes

that the maid-in-waiting Jiao Tong at your side

has iron hands.
