Mr. Reynolds! We've found Paul!

He's on the run from these people called the Spellbinders.

In a parallel world!

I've already told you that is impossible!

No, it's true, Mr. Reynolds! We just spoke to him on the radio.

- What are you doing? - Taking him to the Summoner.

- No! - No, Da!

He hasn't done anything wrong. He saved my life, remember?

He deserves the chance to get home.

Episode 13 'THE FINAL CHALLENGE'

Ow, we did it!

Riana, go and get some sleep.

Take this back home with you.

What is it?

Sleeping potion. I was tending a sick cow.

And don't awake your mother. She's worried enough already.

Now tell me why the Spellbinders are hunting you and my daughter?

I've saw the boy washed away. He can't have survived.

The threat of invasion from his world is gone.

Well done, Ashka!

Spellbinders, this is...

...the Summoner of Clayhill.

The boy Paul and Riana are in my village.

Father, you must be mistaken!

I am not!

They're with the girl's father now.

Hold them until I arrive. I'll go to Clayhill immediately.

Don't worry, Ashka. He won't escape this time.

I don't care about the boy. It's his camera that's important.

If the Regents ever see it, we'll both be banished.

Get some spare powerstones and meet me at the flying ship.

Elrik, I need this flying ship.

You can't have it. There's an outbreak of the red blight in Orkard.

Forget the blight! I need the ship!

So do I.

I'm sorry to be rude, Elrik. But this is urgent.

Perhaps you could take me to the Summoning Tower near Clayhill.

It's on your way?

Thank you.

Gryvon!

Hey, Mum, has Dad got any old steel cable lying around?

How should I know? Ask him when he gets home.

Help me with this.

Mum, why don't you go and have a cup of tea? I'll finish this.

Oh, you're a good boy, Alex.

Regents are fools.

They have let the people lose respect for the Spellbinders.

Paul, you have no choice in this. Tell me how to make gunpowder.

You want to use the gunpowder against the Regents.

And then you want to rule the Spellbinders.

And when I do, I can make your life here very pleasant.

Or very unpleasant.

Now I see why Ashka is after you.

What will you do with this... camera?

I want Riana to show it to the Regents.

It's too dangerous!

She must!

Otherwise she'll be hunted by the Spellbinders for the rest of her life!

Just a short time ago Riana was a happy girl, without a care in the world.

Then you arrived and everything changed.

You brought great pain to this family.

I'm sorry, Bron.

I really am!

I didn't mean for any of this to happen.

I believe you, Paul. But I wish you had never come to my village.

- Alex! - Hang on, Mum!

- It's your girlfriend. - I haven't got a...

Ah. Thanks, Mum.

Hi, Katrina.

Can't come with you tomorrow. I've been grounded.

Why?

Mr. Kennett phoned Mum and told her that we nicked off from school.

Yeah, but did you tell her why?

Yeah. And she thinks I'm nuts. I've gotta see a psychologist tomorrow.

But you've got the train tickets!

Who is this?

At the third stroke it will be 7:56 and 30 seconds.

Uup. Uup.

Don't awake Maran.

Thank you.

This will be our last meal together.

What's the matter?

I'm afraid for you and our family.

Paul has told me everything.

- Riana! - Shh...

The Spellbinders are after you! You've got to hide!

It's alright, Arla. They don't know I'm here.

Ma hates you!

She says you put a spell on Riana.

He didn't. Go to bed.

What's this?

I think we should go.

I'll come with you.

Paul needs my help.

I won't be long.

It's true! You've stolen a power suit.

You don't have to worry. It doesn't work.

Don't worry? The Spellbinders are hunting my daughter!

- Ma, you don't understand! - Quiet!

Maran, sit down and listen.

What have you done to my daughter?

Nothing. The Spellbinder Ashka has been lying.

I won't hear any more. I'm going to fetch the Summoner.

Ma!

Tie them!

Stand back!

Anyone who moves gets blasted. Riana, take the chain and go.

He can't hurt you, Summoner. The power suit doesn't work.

Ma?!

Take him!

Let him go! He's just trying to get home!

Don't hurt my daughter!

Take him too.

But Bron has done nothing!

I saw him in the barn with him. He must be judged by the Spellbinders.

Ma, Ma!

- Got any ideas? - Silence!

Summoner, I will be in Clayhill shortly.

If the boy escapes, I will burn your village.

- You can't do that! - That's none of your concern!

Hold the girl...

...and her family as well. They are enemies of the Spellbinders and must be punished.

No!

I have always been true to the Spellbinders.

Ashka's lying. This family has done nothing wrong.

I must obey the Spellbinder.

This is all your doing!

No, Ma! Paul's telling the truth.

- Ashka is... - That's enough!

She's your daughter, Maran. She loves you.

Why do you believe the Spellbinders, not her?

Summoner!

Let me make you and your men some tea while you wait.

Isn't this gonna get you in a heap of trouble?

Like you said, if we bring Paul back, we'll be heroes.

Leave that! Come on!

Thank you, Maran.

I will ask the Spellbinder Ashka to show you mercy.

The last train leaves up to Mount Lara from Platform 1.

Doors are closing. Stand for your place.

Summoner? Summoner?

What did you do to them?

I put the cow's sleeping draught into their tea.

Why?

I never thought the Spellbinders could be cruel.

But Ashka wanted to punish my family.

I couldn't let her do that.

Ashka will be here son. You must go.

If you show the tape to the Regents, they'll banish Ashka...

...and leave your family alone.

Come on!

No, Riana. It's too dangerous!

Take your family and hide.

Once Ashka finds out that I've gone, she'll come looking for you.

Good luck!

You too.

Thanks.

Thanks, Maran.

Get dressed! Quick! We must pack.

Riana, hurry!

Come on.

The camp's miles away. It's gonna take us ages to get there.

Can we help you with those?

Oh, thank you, dear! That would be very kind.

Alex!

Thank you!

What are you doing?

Well, if we make up a sob story, maybe she'll give us a lift.

Like what?

I don't know. You're good at making up stories.

Katrina, I can't lie to a nun!

And what brings you here?

He's mute.

No, I'm not!

Look, we're trying to save our friend who's trapped in a parallel world.

You see, he can't get back. We're his only hope.

That sounds very exciting.

See, we need to get up to the Mount Lara school camp and...

...well, we were wondering could we get a lift, maybe. Please?

Hop in. We'll talk about it on the way.

My father is not at home.

- Which is the girl's house? - That way.

Father, wake up. Hey, wake up.

Father!

They're not here! Search the village. I want the boy and I want the camera!

He must be here somewhere.

Search the loft!

Ashka!

Paul is trying to get back to his own world.

I know that.

Last time he tried he went to the Summoning Tower.

Come on!

- Where are you going? - I must go and help Paul.

No, Riana. You've done enough.

Thanks for the lift, Sister Josephine.

Not at all. I enjoyed your story. I love science fiction.

Oh, but if you needed a lift, you should have asked me.

You should never tell fibs, especially to a nun.

No, sister. Sorry.

Oh well. Enjoy the camp and may the force be with you.

Come on, Alex. Where are you?

Have your friends deserted you?

He hasn't got the camera!

Where is it?

Over there.

Get it!

Gryvon! Get after him!

Paul, this is Katrina.

We're at the cave.

Are you there? Paul!

I can hear you, Katrina. This is Riana. A friend of Paul's.

- Is Paul with you? - He's on his way now.

Great! Is it safe to open the doorway?

Yes.

But you'd better hurry. The Spellbinders are coming. Paul's in danger.

We have to rig the cable. Tell Paul we won't be long.

I will, Katrina.

How long till we're ready?

We have to make sure that everything is just like it was the first time.

The other end of the cable goes around those branches.

You stole my power suit.

You made me look like a fool in front of Ashka.

I'm sure she won't mind if I bring you back a little worse for wear.

Your powerstones shorted out.

I won't let you stop me, Gryvon.

I brought some more.

Am I glad to see you.

What are we going to do?

Alex, get out of there!

The doorway is open.

You'd better go. Ashka could be around here somewhere.

Good luck!

I won't let you stop me, Ashka.

Do you think you can defeat a Spellbinder?

You are never going home, Paul.

Ever.

The video-camera's on its way to the Regents, Ashka.

When they see the tape, you're finished!

Well if I'm finished in this world, I'll go to yours.

Go, Paul! Quickly!

Paul!

We've got to close the doorway.

Pull that cable down!

Get out of my way!

- Ashka's coming! Pull it down! - We're trying!

No!

Hey!

- Gryvon! Where have you been? - What happened?

The boy goes away! We have to get the camera before the Regents see it!

It must be with the girl's family!

Come on!

Are you okay?

Yeah, thanks to you two.

I'm home!

Fantastic! I might prove the existence of a parallel world!

- Who is this spunk? - Alex!

Riana, these are my friends, Alex and Katrina.

- Guys, this is Riana. I owe her my life. - I can't wait to hear all about your world.

Paul, I must go back.

But you can't. The doorway's closed.

But Ashka will go after my family! They're in danger!

Riana, take it easy.

But I have to warn them!

Ashka destroyed the Summoning Tower.

We can't open the doorway again until someone in your world repairs it.
