Why is this spirit vein so disorderly?

Is this the sign of a spirit fetus?

- Chen'er. - How are you?

I'm fine.

Mother, don't worry.

Chen'er, don't be anxious.

There are definitely some hidden tricks in here.

There must be way to disengage it.

Look carefully.

What's unusual about the four pillars here?

There seems to be a piece lacking in this formation.

Do we need to replace it?

No. I have seen this formation in the past.

It doesn't need to be replaced.

Instead, a piece has to be taken and moved out through the gap.

The root of beauty comes from ugliness. Easiness and difficulty are correlated.

Void and fullness influence one another; short and long must co-exist.

If there is no sun, there is no brightness.

Where there is gain, there is loss.

Even the most perfect thing may look imperfect, but its use will always be the same.

Something filled with void is the most long-lasting.

The principles of the universe are like pulling back the string of a bow.

[The Great Ruler]

[Episode 40]

Who are you?

Looks like he's the guard of the formation of the Scorching Dragon Den.

Chen'er, be careful.

Chen'er, don't be hasty.

This person's actions seem abnormal. If we take attack him without taking any thought, we will suffer.

There must be some clues in the words we heard just now.

Void and fullness influence one another; even the most perfect thing may look imperfect...

The principles of the universe...

These three phrases seem to imply the same thing.

Only the second phrase is different.

There is a sun but no moon. There's a host but no guests.

If you combine the characters of the missing 'moon'and 'guest', it makes the word "kneecap".

That's right.

This is his weak point. It's the knees.

Okay. I will attack the left and you attack the right side.

What is this?

Father, what kind of formation is this?

I have never seen this kind of formation.

The inscription said, "Void and fullness influence one another."

The main points of these two formation drawings

are black and white, representing yin and yang.

Perhaps, we shouldn't look at them separately.

They should be put together.

It's Chinese chess!

Dad, I know the next step of the black piece.

Why is it you again? Didn't you die?

This person's spirit energy is stronger than before.

Let's attack his chest.

Father, he can suck spirit energy. Are you okay?

I'm fine.

His spirit energy is stronger than before. His attacks are also drastically different.

Chen'er, don't worry about me. Think carefully about how to solve this.

The Gate of Vitality of this Scorching Dragon master is connected to the four stone pillars. (T/N: The Gate of Vitality is an acupuncture point.)

Let's attack him from the top and bottom now.

Okay.

Chen'er, you've really grown up.

Mother, just wait a bit more!

Dad and I will get you out soon!

The purpose of this place was to destroy the Heavenly Evil Lord's soul.

From what I know about the Heavenly Emperor,

when he first designed this formation, he also created a trap.

Although the stone pillars have been broken,

the barrier around me is too powerful.

It's impossible to escape.

Although you've passed two level,

the power of the master of the Scorching Dragon will get stronger as you progress.

You shouldn't take the risk anymore. Leave this place immediately.

No. Jing'er, since we are already here,

we can't leave you here alone again.

Mother, I won't leave like this.

Being able to see you and Chen'er again in this life

is already enough.

Mother, no matter what happens today,

I will save you.

Oh no. Mu Chen is in danger.

Father.

Mother.

Chen'er, be strong.

Father and Mother can't keep going on with you.

Mother.

As your son, I couldn't save you

and even caused Father to die.

Chen'er, don't cry.

Remember your purpose.

Chen'er.

Mother.

Father.

Father! Father, wake up!

I... What happened?

The third level just now was probably the Nightmare Formation.

It's a special spell to suppress the Heavenly Evil Lord.

We were controlled by it just now.

What we saw was what we fear the most.

But fortunately, I've used the Fu Tu Tower to break through it.

You broke through it?

Well done, Chen'er. Thank goodness we have you.

Opening, rest, life injury, obstruction, scenery, death, dismay. (T/N: The Eight Gates in Taoist cosmology)

Only the middle gate is missing. It must be here.

Chen'er.

Those who trespass the Heavenly Emperor's Scorching Dragon Den must die!

Jiu You. Why are you here? Where is Qian'er?

She's fine. We will talk about that later.

Mu Feng.

- Chen'er! - Chen'er!

Chen'er.

Where are his spirit veins? Where are they?

Chen'er has Divine Veins... Why is he like this now?

Miss Jiu You, your spirit veins are linked to Mu Chen's.

How is he?

He...his Divine veins are broken.

Chen'er.

I dragged you into this!

Chen'er did it to save me.

Chen'er.

Jiu You, how are you feeling?

Although our spirit veins are linked, but my veins are fine.

Don't worry.

Sorry.

It's my fault for not mastering the Crossing Souls Mantra.

I will master it soon and transfer my spirit veins to him.

Crossing Souls Mantra?

Do you know the consequences of the Crossing Souls Mantra?

The Crossing Souls Mantra can revive people from the dead

but it will also cause great harm to you.

Miss Jiu You, on behalf of Mu Chen, thank you for your kindness.

Don't say that.

Our blood veins are connected...

That means we will live and die together.

It's Mu Chen's blessing

to have a friend like you. But have you ever thought of this?

Sacrificing your life in exchange for his...

Is this what he would really want?

Even more so, Chen'er's Divine Veins are broken.

He's unconscious and he's extremely weak.

If he accepts your spirit veins,

I fear his body won't be able to take this sudden power.

You can't save him.

Mu Chen.

I can't let anything happen to Chen'er.

My spirit is about to drain out.

He's the only hope to take down the Heavenly Evil Lord.

Jing'er.

To save him,

perhaps there is another way.

Since the creation of the world, the spiritual aura

went through billions of years of gestation.

It finally converged and became the Power of Heaven.

A stone tablet was formed in our universe

because of this.

It's called the Heavenly Board.

It's the key to summon the Power of Heaven.

Now, we can only rely on the Power of Heaven

to help recover Chen'er's Divine Veins.

Heavenly Board?

Jing'er.

Save Chen'er first!

Let's get Chen'er out first.

We will think of another plan.

Uncle Mu, what about Mu Chen's mother?

Jing'er, you must hang in there longer.

Let's go! Let's save Chen'er first!

Mu Chen.

Jing'er.

Go!

- Lady Qingxuan. - What is it?

Lord Mubai let them into the Scorching Dragon Den.

He can't do anything right!

Let's see how he will explain to Godfather.

If he really defected to the enemies

and messed up Godfather's resurrection plan,

we will lose everything.

- Watch this place closely. - Yes.

What's wrong?

I'm fine. My heart tightened just now.

Everyone, be careful.

We'll take the enemies by surprise, and end this battle quickly.

General Qin, save us.

Save us. General Qin, save us!

General Qin, save us!

General Qin, save us!

General Qin, save us!

General Qin, save us

Save us. General Qin!

This Spirit Binding Formation is extremely tough to break through. If we want to break it,

it'll consume a lot of our spirit energy.

Something indeed happened in the Scorching Dragon Den.

We don't have much time now. We need to rescue them quickly.

We need to hurry back.

But how do we break through this spirit formation?

If we make cause too much commotion, we will be discovered.

If it's Mu Chen,

what would he do?

Since they're both spirit formations,

can we borrow the power of the Spirit Binding Formation and transform it into a Transfer Formation?

Since this Spirit Binding Formation uses spirit energy to suppress the people in there,

we could change the direction and turn it into a Transfer Formation.

It's just that I'm not sure how we should transform it.

I don't know much about spirit formations either.

I don't know if we'll be able to succeed

in making such a big modification to a spirit formation.

Even more so, to transform it into a Transfer Formation,`

we need to step into formation.

If we fail, we will be stranded inside and won't be able to escape.

We're running out of time.

I'm willing to try it.

- Me too. - Same with me.

I will follow the Saintess' decision.

Good. We better not waste any more time. Let's start.

General Qin, I need to borrow your power to help my Spirit Formation

to get it to reverse the Spirit Formation.

Okay.

Let's start.

General Qin.

How is Mu Chen? What happened?

Mu Chen is injured? Where did he get hurt?

What happened to his spirit energy? Why can't I feel his spirit veins?

General Qin, Dean Shen, how's the situation out there?

Thanks to everyone's help, we saved the soldiers.

They are resting and making new arrangements outside now.

Qingshan and Sun'er are treating everyone's injuries.

Jiu You, what happened?

Where is Qian'er?

Qian'er was taken away by Liu Mubai.

She won't be in danger for now.

But Mu Chen...

It's useless. His Divine Veins are broken.

No way.

The Goddess of Fu Tu said,

if we find the Heavenly Board that was left behind by the Heavenly Emperor,

and summon the universe's Power of Heaven,

there is a possibility to save him.

General Qin, do you know where the Heavenly Board is?

Heavenly Board?

I have never heard of that.

If even the General of Heavenly Emperor doesn't know about this, how will we find it?

There will definitely be a way. Think. Think harder.

There actually is one solution.

No. Are you thinking of summoning the Spirit of the Luo River again?

You already used such a powerful spell to summon her once.

If you continue to use it, your spirit energy will be depleted and it could even backfire on you.

You have already summoned her once. You can't take the risk again.

There is no other way.

It's more urgent to save Mu Chen.

No. There must be another way.

Think a bit more. There must be another way.

I know someone who may know the location of the Heavenly Board.

Who?

Senior Long Kun.

That's right. He has been living as long as the heaven and earth.

He indeed may know its whereabouts.

In that case, let's rush to the Bei Cang Spirit Academy to find Senior Long Kun.

- Okay. - Let's go!

- I'll go with you. - Me too.

We are probing for information this time. There won't be any dangers.

Older Brother, remain here and help Senior Shen. We'll meet up again later.

Okay.

Our actions are bound to have alerted the Heavenly Evil Lord.

The situation at the Heavenly Palace is not clear.

We need someone who's familiar and reliable to stay guard here.

Go without any worries. I will guard the Heavenly Palace.

Senior Long Kun.

Where is he?

Could it be that he's not home?

Wait here. I'll go look.

Luo Li, no.

Thunder Land is so huge. How are you going to find him?

Plus, Mu Chen's injury can't wait any longer.

If he dies, I'll die too.

I can fly faster. I should look for him.

Jiu You.

Mu Chen is injured again?

Senior Long Kun. Mu Chen's Divine Veins are broken.

His Divine Veins are broken?

How did that happen?

It's a long story. Senior Long Kun, please save him.

Although I know the treasures of the heaven and earth

have the ability to revive the dead, but about broken Divine Veins...

Senior, do you know about the Heavenly Board?

The Heavenly Board?

When Heavenly Emperor first started battling the Heavenly Evil Lord,

he was at a disadvantage for quite some time.

But he sensed the Power of Heaven in the universe.

This is the first time the Heavenly Board appeared in the mortal world.

The Heavenly Emperor was able to see the secrets of the Great Ruler Realm

just after sensing the Power of Heaven in the Heavenly Board.

The Power of Heaven was extremely mysterious.

This is halfway to the Great Ruler Realm.

The Heavenly Emperor was worried that Heavenly Evil Lord would use this Power of Heaven

and ordered the Tai Ling Tribe, one of the three ancient divine tribes, to guard it.

From then on, the Tai Ling Tribe went into isolation and seclusion.

Is the Heavenly Board in the territory of the Tai Ling Tribe?

Where's the Tai Ling Tribe?

Didn't I tell you they went into isolation and seclusion? I can't find them and I don't know anything either.

Let's do this.

There are always more solutions than difficulties.

Every time they appear, they leave behind traces.

If we follow their traces, we will definitely be able to find their nest. Isn't that so?

Thank you, Senior.

Chen'er.

- Where's Mu Chen? - Senior Long Kun.

How is Chen'er?

He's heavily injured.

It's already amazing that he can live till now.

But he won't be able to hold on for very much longer.

Then what do we do?

The Holy Spirit Elixir.

Looking at his pulse, only the Holy Spirit Elixir can give him a slim chance of survival.

Although it's not a long term plan...

it'll buy you some extra time to find the Heavenly Board.

The Holy Spirit Elixir is an ancient divine elixir. I've only heard about it but have never seen it.

Senior, please tell me.

What are its characteristics and where is it? No matter how difficult it is, I must find it.

The Holy Spirit Elixir breeds life from death.

It is in the Ice Cold Lagoon in the north.

Okay. I'll send someone to go look for it now.

The Ice Cold Lagoon is one of the impasse realms of this universe.

Even with your ability, it'll be hard to enter, let alone your subordinates.

Ice and fire counter each other. Jiu You has the Eternal Flame in her body.

Let her go.

Okay. I'll go.

Little girl, you must think carefully.

Although you have the Eternal Flame and it can buy you some time in there,

if it's too long, you will die.

Hence, you must leave the Ice Cold Lagoon as soon as possible.

- Relax. This is regarding my life. I will act promptly. - Jiu You.

Uncle Mu, don't worry.

My Eternal Flame is the only thing which can resist the cold,

so it's my destiny to go.

Be extra careful. I will send people as reinforcement.

Don't worry. I will definitely bring back the Holy Spirit Elixir.

I will try to find the Heavenly Board.

- Miss Luo Li... - I know. I won't summon her.

It's just that when I heard Senior Long Kun mention the Tai Ling Tribe,

I recalled that there are some related records in our tribe's ancient texts.

If we can find the Tai Ling Tribe, we'd be halfway to success.

The Tai Ling Tribe, Fu Tu Tribe and Luo Shen Tribe are the three great ancient divine tribes.

If there are records about them, it may be possible.

Although I dare not guarantee I can find it, we have to give it a try.

I won't thank you for your great kindness in words.

I will remember this in my heart.

- Let's go and get ready now. - Okay.

Jiu You.

I won't let anything happen to you.

Wear this and the Heavenly Board will be able to sense you.

Wait for me.

I will definitely succeed and come back.

Thank you for taking care of the medicine for Chen'er.

My prescription can only barely keep him alive for now.

Only the Holy Spirit Elixir and the Heavenly Board is the key to saving Mu Chen.

Fortunately, we have those kids.

No matter what, thank you very much.

Then I'm leaving.

Okay.

Lord of Herds Land, is Luo Li here?

She's inside. She will come out soon.

Is something wrong?

No.

Jiu You. What's wrong?

I'm fine.

Uncle Mu, what's urgent now is for you to create the Cosmic Dissolving Evil Formation.

You must watch your health.

Then I'm leaving now.

Do you know you are with child now?

Or are you deliberately coercing me?

You know I won't hurt you at all.

I was wondering

why our Young Master Liu would let Mu Chen and his party into the Scorching Dragon Den.

Of course, it's because of a woman again.

Women are the root of all men's problems. Let me help you.

- How dare you? - Why wouldn't I dare?

As long as I'm here, I won't let anyone touch a single strand of hair on Qian'er's head.

You can't defeat me.

Young Master Liu, why are you so serious?

I was merely joking.

Fortunately, Mu Chen didn't manage to save Qing Yanjing.

I've helped you cover up the fact that you privately let them in.

What are you up to?

It's fun enough to see you filled with anxiety and fear.

Don't you agree?

You owe me one. You must repay your debt in the future.

It's a deal. It's time to work on the Heavenly Soldiers.

Are you guarding against me

or guarding against your little lover from escaping?

Leave.

No!

She is already summoning it. If you intercept, it will b backfire on the Saintess.

Saintess of the Luo Shen Tribe, we meet again.

I'm Saintess Luo Li of the Luo Shen Tribe.

I request to know where the Tai Ling Tribe is.

Child, your body is so weak.

Are you sure you want to ask this question?

Since there's fate between us, I will give you another chance.

If you take back your question, I will return your spirit energy to you

and help you to cultivate even better.

I'm Saintess Luo Li of the Luo Shen Tribe.

I request to know where the Tai Ling Tribe is.

I hope your courage to battle alone and your love will never be betrayed.

Luo Li.

As the Saintess of the Luo Shen Tribe,

how could you deplete your spirit energy time and time again

to summon the Luo Spirit for a mortal?

Does your tribe's safety mean nothing to you?

Grandfather Qingya, I'm not just doing this for myself.

Mu Chen pulled out the Heavenly Emperor Sword.

He's the greatest hope for saving the universe.

He's the only one who can defeat the Heavenly Evil Lord.

I can't watch him die.

Saintess.

What are you doing?

I know this journey will be dangerous.

I fear I may not return safely.

I know it's not fair to the Luo Shen Tribe. If anything unexpected happens to me,

Grandfather Qingya, please take over my post as the Tribe Chief.

Get up.

Are you okay?

Luo Li. Luo Li!

Uncle Mu, rest for a bit first.

Uncle Mu, Mu Chen is the inheritor of the Heavenly Emperor Sword.

He will be fine.

Also, Jiu You and Luo Li will definitely bring back good news.

That's right. The Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly General have been saved.

Once Mu Chen wakes up, we will all charge into the Scorching Dragon Den again together.

We can definitely save Aunt Mu.

Qingshan is right.

Thank you.

Please help me take good care of Chen'er for now.

There are a lot of things that I must do.

Uncle Mu.

Luo Li.

I have to go now.

I'm your guard, so I should go with you.

Okay.

Then I'll go pack my stuff.

Grandfather Qingya, why...
