Lu Heng, I am Qin Tian!

We fought alone before! Right here!

You once said we were brothers!

Do you not remember any of it?!

We are brothers...

Yes. We are brothers.

We swore to serve the Heavenly Emperor together!

Lu Heng, wake up!

Brothers...

Lu Heng, don't let them fool you.

Don't forget who gave you such a great power!

- Qin Tian!- Hurry up, they are losing it.

[The Great Ruler]

[Episode 39]

Why is this door open?

Could it be that Mu Chen won?

Heavenly Emperor, die!

Oh, no! Lu Heng is already fully controlled by the Heavenly Evil God.

- Chen'er! - Mu Chen!

Young boy, I can sense

the Fu Tu Tower inside of you.

You must be Qing Yanjing's son.

Heavenly Emperor.

Pull out the Heavenly Emperor's Sword.

You are the only one who can stop Lu Heng.

Mother. Please wait.

I will bring you back home very soon.

Heavenly Emperor, don't celebrate for now.

This world will belong to me!

Mu Chen won.

Brother.

Heavenly Emperor, please.

Today, I'm sorry.

Stop talking. You spirit energy is damaged, you shouldn't talk.

I'll fix your wound. You will get better.

Don't waste your powers.

I don't have much time.

Lu Heng.

Heavenly Emperor,

all I want is your forgiveness.

It was not your fault. It was mine.

You have been protecting me for 4999 years.

You have faced so many failures.

I could only imagine your sadness and suffering.

It was me who underestimated our enemy.

It was me who forgot what Mo Hetian did 5000 years ago

to seek power.

Remember the day I put the helmet on for you?

How could I forget?

That was the most glorious day of my life.

Heavenly Emperor,

I lost the whistle.

Qin Tian, we are not only comrades,

we are

brothers who fought together.

It's been 5000 years.

We...

are one family.

Lu Heng!

Lu Heng!

Lu Heng!

Lu Heng, wake up!

Lu Heng!

- Son of Qing Yanjing.- Yes.

Come.

What's your name?

Your Majesty, my name is Mu Chen.

Looks like it's fate.

Since you have pulled out the Heavenly Emperor Sword,

you are the master the sword chose.

From now on, you will be the one to rule the world.

I only wanted to fight the Heavenly Evil God and save my mother.

So that our family can be together again.

It will be better if we can keep the world from evil spirits.

But I have never thought about ruling the world.

Everything starts in detail.

Saints focus on the detail.

You don't have great plans, but only small goals in your mind.

This is not necessarily a good thing.

I don't understand. Please explain it to me.

You don't need to understand for now.

As long as you remember what you just said.

If you keep putting people first,

one day, you will rule the world.

Heavenly Emperor, this is...

I have transferred all my power to you.

Now, I shall pass on this mantra to you.

I hope you can organize it and use it well.

Mu Chen, the responsibility of saving the world is up to you.

Heavenly Emperor!

Kid,

death is a normal thing.

That's the circle of life.

This is the most fascinating thing in the world.

Don't be sad.

Your mother, Qing Yanjing,

is trapped in the deepest place, the Dragon Flame Cave.

I can feel that her powers are getting weaker.

You must go at once.

The time left for you and your mom isn't very long.

Hurry and go.

Very good. It's been a while since I have seen such bright sunlight.

This time is for you now.

Heavenly Emperor!

Heavenly Emperor...

♫ Ten thousand tribes rise up. How to tolerate both true and false? ♫

♫ Every transmutation is so painful, that scabs are formed ♫

I was a Jimsonweed flower that the Heavenly Emperor planted.

Now that he is gone,

my mission is complete.

It's time to go back to where I came from.

Don't forget to visit me

when the world is ultimately at peace.

Water me.

Man Tuluo, that day will come soon.

♫ When I walked across the mountain peak, it didn't talk ♫

♫ When I crossed the ocean, the ocean didn't talk ♫

♫ The setting sun kept the shadow, to give the answer alone ♫

♫ Growing up was lonely, like the painting ♫

♫ I shall hold the sword to fight for her glory ♫

♫ So her fame will stay on in the world ♫

♫ Without hope but to sheath the sword, and to wander afar ♫

♫ But how can I return the reminiscence of her? ♫

The Heavenly Emperor has died. My seal is loosened up.

You must speed up the Evil Elixir process.

Bring me back to life.

- Yes.- Yes!

Mu Chen, you can control the spirit energy so well now.

Look at my hands, they are completely healed.

Yeah.

Luo Li, everyone else is healed, but you.

There is no need for me to, it's just a small injury.

Don't be so stubborn. I will heal you.

Why is there only 30 percent of spirit energy in you?

30 percent?

Miss Luo Li was injured worse than I thought.

Were you injured by Fu Tu Xuan?

How is that possible? Even if he has the whispering power,

Fu Tu Xuan can't be so powerful.

Don't worry about me. There are other priorities.

Mu Chen, the most important thing now is to save your mother.

I remember when we were recovering the Defense Formation at Luohe City,

two local people told me that only the Goddess of Luo Shen Tribe

can summon the Spirit of Luohe.

It answers all the questions in the world.

Luo Li, did you went to the Spirit of Luohe

and asked for the location of Fu Tu Ancient Tribe?

I knew that this would happen.

I also heard that each summon will cost a great amount of spirit energy.

It's hard to recover from that.

Many Goddesses who have been practicing for their whole live, can only summon it once.

That's why

they only summon the Spirit of Luohe for an emergency.

Luo Li, such a precious chance,

how could you use it like that?

Luo Li, is Qing Shan telling the truth?

Let me heal you.

♫ Thinking of you irrevocably ♫

♫ Listening to the rain with my eyes closed ♫

♫ The wind rose, and my heart moved with my thoughts ♫

Why are you so stupid?

Leader!

Don't do this! I am not your leader.

I am only here to save my mother.

That's it.

You are holding the Heavenly Emperor's Sword, you must be the successor he chose.

I thought I would never have the spirit energy in my life.

It's lucky for me to get to practice it.

I only want to save my mother,

so that she won't have to suffer anymore.

As for the successor of the Heavenly Emperor's Sword, I don't deserve to be it.

Leader, you are the successor with Heavenly Emperor's Sword.

We can only defeat the Heavenly Evil God by following your lead.

So me and my soldiers are at your command!

We swear on our lives to follow you!

We swear on our lives to follow you!

General Qin, you are wrong.

The Heavenly Evil God is killing the world.

I will fight him even if I were just a normal person.

I am just your comrade now!

But I will do everything I can, to fight along with you.

To kill the Tu Ling Guards, and defeat the Heavenly Evil God!

Congratulations, Godfather. Soon, you will be free.

The Heavenly Emperor picked this place

and built the Ancient Heavenly Palace on the Heavenly River,

in order the prevent the caution.

Now it's used against his own people.

Heavenly Emperor, I guess you didn't see that coming.

He built his own trap.

With these people's sacrifice, I shall come out soon.

I will make them pay.

I look forward to seeing you ruling the world again.

You and Liu Mubai are my right hand men.

At this very important moment, I won't allow any mistake from you.

Do you know what to do?

Yes. I will guard here.

I won't have anyone sabotage your great plan.

As for Qing Yanjing...

Fu Tu Goddess, do you still remember who I am?

I do. The loser to the Heavenly Emperor.

I didn't know we can meet again before you die.

I always remember what you did.

Now you have become like this,

I can't help feeling sorry for you.

You might not know yet?

The Heavenly Emperor is dead.

Look at how funny you look,

before saying such a lie.

You can choose not to believe it.

It's fine. You are next.

What do you want?

I will be reborn once your energy runs out.

This day is drawing near.

Heavenly Evil God.

Liu Mubai, how do you explain yourself about what happened at the Heavenly River?

It was my fault.

I thought they wouldn't be able to cross the river.

Really?

Forgive me.

Liu Mubai, I will spare your life this time.

But it won't happen next time.

You are no longer who you were before.

What happened has faded away with the old you.

Yes. I will remember it.

Okay. You have another mission.

Mu Chen must be going to the Dragon Flame Cave.

So I want you to guard that cave.

I don't want to see him come out alive.

Yes!

What's the next step? I will follow your command.

General Qin, how is the Ancient Heavenly Palace doing right now?

There were many guards in the Heavenly Palace.

They swore to protect the Heavenly Palace like I did.

But they were captured before you went in the water dungeon.

They were used as a sacrificial offering.

My mother, Qing Yanjing, has been kept in the Dragon Flame Cave for 10 years.

Her safety affects the seal of Heavenly Evil God.

Also, as her son, I can't watch her suffer and do nothing.

So I must save her.

But it's urgent at the altar.

We shall divide into two groups.

One group will go to the altar and save the soldiers.

The other group will go to the Dragon Flame Cave.

Alright.

The Dragon Flame Cave was built by the Heavenly Emperor, to demolish the evil energy.

There's a mist outside that can corrode everything.

There's a dragon inside.

It's very dangerous.

General Qin, is there any way to get through it?

I wouldn't have watched the Goddess be trapped there, if there was a way.

General Qin, how did my mother get trapped in the Dragon Flame Cave?

Heavenly Emperor?

Heavenly Emperor, it's you! You woke up!

Heavenly Emperor, why?

Who are you? Why do you pretend to be him?

Someone decided to join in the fun, huh?

Fu Tu Xuan?

Fu Tu Xuan, you colluded with the Evil Tribe!

I never thought that you would be like that.

Have you ever thought about the consequences for doing this?

Consequences?

You are so stupid!

Heavenly Evil God only used a little power, and you got tricked.

Do you expect Heavenly Emperor to wake up?

Let me tell you.

Heavenly Evil God is about to be back. The world will have a new ruler.

Fu Tu Tribe will become stronger under his protection.

You...

You are...?

Long time no see, Qing Yanjing.

Weren't you sealed by me?

How did you come out?

How is this possible?

Didn't expect that? You can't trap me.

I will be able to break the seal soon,

and appear as my real form.

I would like to see your surprised face more.

But this body can't hold my mind anymore.

Alright, let us meet again soon.

Farewell, Heavenly Evil God.

Didn't think that, all these years,

Jing'er has been suffering from this pain.

And I only found out about it now.

I am... such a bad husband.

Father. It's not your fault.

General Qin is familiar with the layout here.

I think General Qin should lead a team to the altar.

Brother Shen, General Qin has just recovered. Please take care of him.

Don't worry.

By then, I will ask Sister Sun'er,

Qingshan, and Luo Li to help out.

Xuantong will be going too, as Luo Li's servant.

Jiu You and I will go to the Dragon Flame Cave.

Let's go.

Why won't you let me go with you guys?

Qian'er, at this point,

I don't want to put you in a bad place.

So you shouldn't go; wait for us.

Mu Chen, I know that you are doing this for me, but I have to go.

The situation between me and him can only be solved by myself.

Don't worry, I won't risk my life.

Okay. You promised me. Don't go overboard.

Dad. Where are you going?

- Dad! - Move.

I know what you are thinking.

She is my Mother, and the person I miss the most.

How could I not understand how you feel?

But it's deadly dangerous.

I won't allow something to happen to you.

Or how will our family be as one?

I didn't know what your Mother was going through.

Now I know.

I can't watch her suffer and do nothing.

This isn't doing nothing. It's doing it with a plan.

Dad. Trust me.

I will definitely bring Mother back safely.

You guys are most very important to me. I can't lose either one of you.

Chen'er. I have parted with her since you were born.

Now she is here.

I have been congesting my power for this moment.

Relax. I won't let your Mother be in trouble and I won't be trouble either.

I know what I am doing. Don't stop me.

Dad. Let's go get mom together.

Through this mist, there's Yanlong Cave.

Wait here. I'll go look first.

Mu Chen. Chen'er. Let me go first.

Let me go first.

I should go.

Mubai?

Move.

You are dreaming.

Liu Mubai, you still have the dignity to come.

Qian'er. Qian'er.

Child. Child. Put the knife down.

Let them go in.

You are threatening me again.

I said

let them go in.

Move. Let them go.

- The command of the Heavenly Evil Lord was... - Move.

Move!

Hurry and go.

You stay here and take care of Qian'er.

Relax, leave it to me.

Dad. Be careful.

Jing'er!

Mu Feng.

Jing'er.

I'm sorry. It's all my fault.

I came too late.

Don't say sorry.

You haven't changed at all.

I am sorry that for all these years

I didn't stay by your side.

To let you suffer alone.

Mother.

Mother.

It's our Chen'er.

Chen'er.

It's really Chen'er.

You grew up.

Mother, forgive me.

From the minute I was born I've never repaid your love.

And I let you suffer in here.

My biggest wish is to see you grow up safely.

Now that to see you are fine,

Mom can relax.

- Mother. - Jing'er!

Hurry and leave.

You can't break the Yanlong Formation.

If you break it directly, I'm afraid it will bounce back.

Bad things will happen.

No. I have to save you.

I listened to you and let them go in. Put the knife down.

No. Unless I can see them leave safely.

You are willing to hurt yourself to save them?

Do you think they will thank you?

They are only using you.

You will end up like me in the end.

What about you?

You are not following my command?

We follow the Heavenly Evil Lord.

Qian'er.

Qian'er.

Liu Mubai. Put Qian'er down.

Xuantian Altar is over there.

General Qin, this place looks rather complicated.

Yes. It was built by the Heavenly Emperor.

Xuantian Altar, Protection Formation.

You must be careful when approaching it.
