"Roast duck." Roast duck?!
Oh, yeah?
Cooking is as simple as A-B-C
With a Mother Mallard recipe
MALLARD: Are you hungry?
How would you like some of Old Mother Mallard's
delicious golden-brown waffles,
dripping with melted butter
and swimming with maple syrup?
Mmm, yum, yum, yum.
MALLARD: Well, here's the recipe.
Are you ready?
Yes.
MALLARD: Mix together one quart of milk...
and one pound of flower.
Then, to these ingredients, add two fresh eggs.
Eggs? Just a minute.
Okay.
MALLARD: I repeat, add two fresh eggs...
a dash of baking powder...
Uh-huh.
MALLARD: ...and stir thoroughly.
Now have your iron hot,
and while your waffle is baking,
Old Mother Mallard will give you
a few moments of organ music.
Patty cake, patty cake Baker's man
Bake me a cake as fast as you can
Hmm.
As fast as you...
As fast as you...
Oh, wise guy, huh?
Patty cake Patty cake
So...
Patty cake
MALLARD: Is your waffle a nice golden bronze?
Perhaps you should cook it just a little longer.
If at first you don't succeed,
try, try...
-again!
That stops you.
Good riddance.
Well, well. Company.
Come in.
MALLARD: Did you enjoy your waffle?
I'll bet you did.
Won't you let me hear from you?
You will.
MALLARD: And so, until next week,
Old Mother Mallard wishes you all...
