But now our troops are exhausted

In my opinion

We better take a break at here first

Just do it

What is writing on the wall?

These?

These are all mundane affairs

If somebody is coming to pray and draw divination sticks

They can use the numbers on the stick

to refer to the words on the wall

to refer to the words on the wall

to look for an answer

This is interesting

Your Majesty

Your Majesty

The Star of Lord is unclear

And Dugu conquer the country

The Star of Lord is me

Although my future is unclear

But if I'm assisted by you

But if I'm assisted by you

Yuwen Tai's family had great power

They have strong armies and look loyal to the emperor

Emperor Yuan Xiu thought

he was going to seek a shelter and regroup

But he never thought

his power was going to be swallowed by others

Yuwen Tai is here

Aftter Emperor Yuan Xiu moved to Guanzhong, Chang'an

His power was controlled by Yuwen's family

557 A.D.

The nation's name is Northern Zhou

Dad

His Majesty is here

General Dugu Xin is here

Long live, Your Majesty

Uncle Dugu

Please ease yourself quickly

You're the host at here

You're the host at here

Ease yourself please

Thanks, Your Majesty

My dear officer

I am so ashamed

I guess you are tired

of traveling to capital

And we have to trouble you

to take care all of us

to take care all of us

Don't say so

It's my biggest pleasure

to have you here

My wife passed away for a long time

So all the things in our house

are handled by my eldest daughter, Bore

are handled by my eldest daughter, Bore

Today just let her serve Her Majesty nicely

Today just let her serve Her Majesty nicely

Of course

Everyone in the capital knows

all of your seven sons are guarding the borders

And Bore is the head

of the Dugu's house in capital

of the Dugu's house in capital

Alright

Today I want to

have fun with all of you

Yes

Bore

Serve Her Majesty with all you could

Yes

Your Majesty

Please

Long live, Your Majesty

Your Majesty

This way please

We've tried everything to get in here

just to watch them shooting arrows?

No, we're not watching them shooting arrows

We are watching the people

and understand their characteristics

So that we can handle them when we come to capital later on

You didn’t tell Sir Dugu

that you're coming here

Won't he get angry?

If I tell him

I need to go to meet His Majesty

And I can't watch them closely like this

Moreover

Even if Uncle Dugu knows

He won't blame me

He would even feel sorry for

his future son-in-law

Why I feel like

you're coming to see

the face of your future wife?

Nonsense

His Majesty is here

They are shooting arrows?

I am going too

Give me, let me do it

Alright, alright, alright

Good skill

One more time

Yu

Better let me to teach you

Better let me to teach you

No need

Shoulders must be as flat as the mountain

Hands must be as curved as the moon

Shooting must be as accurate as eagle's eyesight

Imperial Tutor

Well said

You've learned you skill

from the late emperor

Who shot it?

Come out

Dad

You…

Greeting, Your Majesty

Why you this little girl so naughty?

Why you this little girl so naughty?

Faster apologize to His Majesty

Quick

I am still young and naughty

I guess Your Majesty won't blame me, right?

Alright

I want to reward you greatly

Follow me

Alright

Look at you Dad

This lady is skillful

But why Sir Dugu

still hit her head just now?

Maybe she is the…

I don't know either

I didn't see Mantuo for a long time

When old master proposed the marriage just now

You were so reluctant

Look at you now

But the truth is

this Imperial Tutor Yuwen Hu

is really arrogant and domineering

Just like the Gao Huan last time

So just like what father said

We must hide our talents

in front of him next time

Otherwise…

Your Majesty

She is my youngest daughter

She is my youngest daughter

Her name is Jialuo

It's all my fault

She is pampered by me since she was a baby

Please forgive us, Your Majesty

It's fine

Our culture is more open-minded

It's not like those women who didn't dare to

throw an appearance during South Dynasty

Don't mention archery

What's wrong for a woman to do business

or become an officer?

Jialuo

Your archery skill is outstanding

Tell me

What do you want me to reward you?

Thanks, Your Majesty

Then I will but a bite on Your Majesty

We just opened a Ji Ci Academy

in the Fa Ci Academy at West Mountain

I would like to ask Your Majesty

to write the name of the academy

No big deal

I will write it tomorrow

and ask somebody to send to you

Thanks, Your Majesty

Jialuo

You go back first

Thanks, Your Majesty

Dad, then I'm leaving first

Go back first

Your Majesty

My dear officer

Actually I'm coming to

discuss something with you

You saw it just now too

The Yuwen Hu is getting

more arrogant and domineering

And the Ge Shu

is just like a dog raised by Yuwen Hu

He looks like responsible to protect me

but in fact he is keeping an eye on me

I…

I wish I can get rid of them immediately

I wish I can get rid of them immediately

Your Majesty, calm down

Don't get upset

Why don't we drink this cup of wine

with Her Majesty?

Come on

Alright

To Her Majesty

Your Majesty

All of you three sister are really beauties

All of you three sister are really beauties

In my opinion

Bore is graceful and calm

Just like a peony

And

Mantuo is pretty and capable

Just like an utpala

And Jialuo

Although she is young

But she is like a flower bud waiting to blossom

Madam Zheng

This is inappropiate

Her Majesty is sitting up there

Nobody dares to call herself a peony

The emperor is the dragon

The empress is the phoenix

Her Majesty is like the mythical bird of heaven

We as the servants

It's not wrong to say

we're just like the flowers or plants

Well said

Dugu Zhuguo is Zhou's first warrior

If Bore doesn't dare to call herself a peony

I don't see anybody else deserved the name

Bore

Look at there

Our brother from Ning Du

is losing his head over you

Bore

I do wish to call you imperial aunty one day

I do wish to call you imperial aunty one day

You must be kidding, Your Majesty

Mantuo

These dancers are invited by you, right?

The dance is not bad

Thanks, Madam Yao

But the music is terrible

But the music is terrible

I still remember

your mother was very good

in playing chess and music

when she was in Royal Music Academy

So

As the host today

Maybe you should show us your talent too

Am I right?

That's right

Alright

Stop

But these dancers don't deserve my music

But these dancers don't deserve my music

Why don't Madam Yao dance

to entertain Her Majesty?

I…

What dance Madam Yao are good at?

No matter Willow Branches Dance

or Waist Bell Dance

I know how to play their musics

I know this Waist Bell Dance

I heard this dance

is originated from Persia

The dancer will not wearing anything

above her waist

Seems Madam Yao doesn't want to dance

to entertain Her Majesty

Let's making poem

Not bad

Let's do it quickly

Mantuo

You're talented

You first

Yes

My little sister is still young

Wearing a skirt and riding a horse

Shooting arrows with left and right hands

Girls from our family is same like her

Not even a boy can match her

Good poem

Mantuo

You're really the most talented lady

in our dynasty

Thanks for the praise, Your Majesty

But Your Majesty are way better than me

But Your Majesty are way better than me

Your Majesty

are the most talented

and the most beautiful woman

Shun

Do you know where is Jialuo?

Why I never see her?

I don't know

I am looking for her too

Jialuo, where were you going?

I've been looking for you

Yong

Your body condition isn't good along this

Riding a horse is dangerous, can you do it?

Yes I can

I'm good in riding horse

Why can't you believe me?

Fifth Brother

Sister

Your riding skill is not any better

Why don't you come down and let me do it?

And I can protect him

And I can protect him

No way

Father keep asking me to keep an eye on you

and he doesn't allow you

to take part in any horse race

Listen to me

Don't worry, Jialuo

I will come back safely

Trust me

Come on, come on

Come on, come on, come on

Come on

Good

Quick, give me the ball

Faster, come on

Come on, come on

Come on, come on, come on

Come on, come on, Yong

Come on, come on

Good

Shun

Fifth Brother

Fifth Brother, my legs

Are you okay?

It's painful

You didn't hurt you bones, right?

Yong, are you okay?

I'm fine

Go to take a look at him

Useless

Just a little injury

and crying like a baby

You…

What did you say?

I said they are useless

He can't compete with others

and fell down by himself, who else to blame?

What… What did you say?

What do you mean?

What did my Fifth Brother do to you

to make you strike a vicious blow?

Did I?

Did you all see me pushing him?

He was clumsy and fell down by himself

Nonsense

I saw you pushed him

I saw you pushed him

You want to bully him?

Just admit it if you did it

Is this the way your Dugu's family treat their guests?

Today we're hosting His and Her Majesty

Today we're hosting His and Her Majesty

You're not respecting us

by doing this

I tell you what

Nobody can bully our Dugu's family

Stop blaming others

The horse is not listening to order, who else to blame?

It's normal to clash

during the horse race

He was the one who is not skillful enough

and fell down by himself

It's nothing to do with me

You…

Wait

So what you mean is

everything was a misunderstanding?

And this horse

is the one to be blamed?

Right

That's right

This is the best solution

If the horse is not listening

We must correct it

Do remember it

Why are you still standing there?

Send Dugu Shun back quickly

yes

This is the compensation

for your horse

I am aroused

by looking at your face when you were killing the horse

Remember I told you

when you ascend the throne

and I become the empress

I will be yours

You are so cruel everytime

I don't understand

why I would like you

Isn't it because of

I'm the only one who can help you

to become the emperor?

Just now your naughty sister

shamed me in front of the public

shamed me in front of the public

You better console me quickly

My Imperial Tutor

Although you have a lot of power

But you're coming from a low-class family

So even if you marry a princess of last dynasty

The royal court

will still despise you

And this is why

after your uncle, Emperor Wen Tai died

Those officers of royal court

chose an useless son, Yuwen Jue

as the emperor

Rather than let you ascend the throne

It is because

his mother was a princess

Just like my mother is Madam Guo from Taiyuan

She was wealthy

Even my stepmother is Madam Cui from Qinghe

So it is fair to say that

our background is comparable to a princess

And my dad is very powerful

Now he is holding forty percent

of the military power

And he is the head of the eight general-in-chief

So when the time comes

and if I'm willing to do so

I can make you ascend the throne anytime

That's a very bold statement

Why?

Did I say anything wrong?

In this world

Only I can tolerate

such an ambitious woman like you

Although my dad has been keeping a low profile

at Northern Jiang along this

But I never forget

the result of late emperor's divination

The Star of Lord is unclear

And Dugu conquer the country

I believe I am the special one

Although there's no any female emperor

But I believe the emperor who is leading the country

will have the blood of our Dugu's family

Who closes to Dugu gets the world

If I get you

The country will be mine

But you better help me

to advise your father quickly

Since he just back from Northern Jiang

He should take a good rest in capital

Don't intervene other matters

Don't intervene other matters

Because I don't wish to see him taking over the prime minister's position

Don't tell me that you don't understand

why your father just got into capital two days ago

and Yuwen Jue came to your house's hunting ground today

and Yuwen Jue came to your house's hunting ground today

If Dugu Xin is willing to be the prime minister

His side will have

a great support

But I've said earlier

Whoever becomes the prime minister

will become my enemy

I don't wish to fight

my future father-in-law one day

my future father-in-law one day

You dare to?

Yuwen Hu

Let me tell you seriously

I am good in everthing else

except I will shield a fault

If you dare to hurt my family

I will make you regret for your whole life

Why are you so serious?

I was joking around

But I am not

Then let me tell you seriously

Stop flirting with Yuwen Yu

Stop flirting with Yuwen Yu

His Majesty just ascended the throne for few years

and five prime ministers were changed

Think about it

Who is still alive now?

Dad

You're a famous general

and you never step into the royal court for a long time

Why would you want to risk yourself?

I know it too

But Brother Yuwen Tai and I

were sworn brothers

Before he passed away

He kept reminding me

to take good care of his son

Now Yuwen Hu is getting

more and more domineering

I really can't see His Majesty

to be bullied like this

But, dad

I thought you hate

these infightings in the court

That's why you go to Northern Jiang

to stay away from these conficts

But this time is different

Dad

Do you still remember?

Before mother passed away

You made a promise to her

You promised her

even the sky is falling down

You will still take good care of us

If you really

want to take over the prime minister's position

You will have conflicts with Yuwen Hu

Then what should we do?

These brothers are still young

If you're not here, who else will protect them

And

Three of us still not yet getting married

Do you really want to see

the time when we're getting married

and there are no parents around?

Alright

Don't worry

I won't promise His Majesty easily

But you are right

Those boys still can wait for another few years

But three of you

have to start thinking

about your marriage

For these few years

You're managing Dugu's house in family very well

You're managing Dugu's house in family very well

I'm pleased of it

But no matter how good you are

I can't let you

stay beside me forever

stay beside me forever

Tell me quickly

Are you in love with any guy now?

I heard you're very close to

Ning Du King recently

Dad

Alright

I won't mention it again

But

Mantuo and Jialuo have grown up

If you don't decide your marriage earlier

Then how do they get married?

Jialuo is still like a kid

She hasn't grown up

She was very naughty today

How does she become a wife and a mother?

Jialuo followed me

to the battlefield along this

She just like a man

She just like a man

Luckily I sent her to capital

to be taken care by you for these few years

Oh yes

I heard the Yang Jian

is coming to capital soon

Yes

Your Uncle Yang has been worrying

the politic situation is unstable

So Jian volunteered to go to the court

on behalf of his father

This young man is good

He is smart and understanding

He is not only knowing to lead an army

but also mastering in music, chess, literature and drawing

When he comes to capital

I will let him marry Mantuo

I will let him marry Mantuo

Mantuo

Why?

Among our three sisters

You love Jialuo the most

I thought you will let her

to get married by him

Don't talk nonsense

I love all of you

I love all of you

Although you and Jialuo are legitimate

And Mantuo is…

But

Don't worry

Uncle Yang and I are like brothers

If she is married by Jian

She won't be treated badly

I know

If she knows you arrange

such a good marriage for her

She would laugh

even when she is sleeping

Let me see

The phoenix hairpin granted by Her Majesty

is really different than others

This is the first time I see it

Miss, what happened?

Today you showed you talent on hunting ground

Even Eldest Miss can't compete with you

Look at this hairpin

It must be a good sign

You will be as honorable as

Her Majesty after this

Honorable?

Yang Jian is coming to capital

People say

Dad will let me marry him

How…

How can it be?

Why not?

This is a big good news

Duke Yang is talented

You and he are really a good match

Qiu Chi

What are you talking about?

No matter how good he is

He is just a duke

He can't be compared

to Ning Du King and Fu Cheng King

That's right

Why Her Majesty wants to

let Bore to get married into royal family?

This Fu Cheng King always

stick together with Jialuo

And I need to marry an officer

Miss

Sometimes…

I know

Because I'm raised up by aunt

Actually Old Master loves you too

Among the three sisters in this house

You're the prettiest

And you're also knowledgeable

Then I deserved better than them

Why they can become princesses

but not me?

Tell me

I've told you many times

Watch your mouth on the hunting ground

Why you offended Yuwen Hu?

Because he is pointing the arrow to dad

on our own hunting ground

Sister, you've told me too

that Dugu's family won't be bullied easily

If we just simply tolerate it

If we just simply tolerate it

After the news spreading out

Nobody would respect us

Moreover

When Fifth Brother was bullied

You used a knife

to kill the horse too

So whatever I can do now

You can do it too, right?

But when I shot that arrow yesterday

The Yuwen Hu took it down a notch

You don't believe me when I said you're silly

Do you think an Imperial Tutor

can't deal with you this little girl?

Until now still refuse to accept it?

Try to look at your Second Sister

She is about to get married

And you?

You don't even look like a lady

Xia Ge

Go to take three embroidered screens

from the room of your miss

Five days

Within five days

I want to see three red phoenixes in morning sun

Sister

It's fine to punish me

But can you change a…

Or…

You just beat me

Just beat me with any way you like

It's better than embroider works

Alright

After beating

You need to do it in double

Six of them

Greetings, Your Majesty

My dear officer

You're here finally

The men of Yuwen Hu keeps monitoring me

How hard for me to sneak out

Uncle Dugu

You must save me

Your Majesty, you…

Your Majesty, please stand up quickly

Uncle Dugu

Maybe you're not aware of this

But the Yuwen Hu is getting

more and more domineering

Few days ago

He refused to accept my edict

in front of the officers

And last time

I drank the poisonous wine given by him

I almost can't recover from it

Among all the officers

You're the only one

who can fight with Yuwen Hu

So…

So I have no other choice

but recall you back to capital

You…

You must take over the prime minister's position

and save my life

Your Majesty, please stand up quickly

This is your order

and I should take it

But

I'm already old

I afraid…

Do you forget

the message from late emperor?

Or you're willing to see me

killed by those treacherous officers?

Of course I won't

Then please move into

the prime minister's house quickly

Your Majesty

Please let me think about it for few days

Greetings, Imperial Tutor

His Majesty cried and complained to you already?

You are really quick-eared and sharp-eyed

Sir Dugu

I always respect you

because you're a famous warrior of Great Wei

And because of that

I don't wish to see you being used by him

to fight against me

It's my duty to serve His Majesty

Why do you say I'm being used?

Alright

Let me ask you

He is just a weak scholar

who is always crying

who is always crying

Can he fight with Gan Zhan from Qi?

Don't forget about

the Liang glare like a tiger eyeing its prey

You're a loyal general

But who is he?

He is just a puppet

helped by me to become the emperor

Sir Dugu

You're a smart man

I don't wish to see you stand at my side

But if you can remain neutral

and don't accept the position of prime minister

I promise I will

grant a position to you

which is unchallengeable

When the time comes

Both of our families will be connected even better

Thanks, Imperial Tutor

Now

I'm already the first grade

Zhu Guo Great General

My position is already high enough

If I want to be higher, I can be even higher

Really?

Sir

Looks like you're really not into fame and wealth

like all the other say

But do you forget

Dugu conquer the country?

Imperial Tutor

You're the head of all other officers

You better don’t talk

about this kind of myth

This is the result of divination stick

requested by the late emperor himself

Sir Dugu

Why don't you work with me?

I will help you to make it happen

I will help you to make it happen

Imperial Tutor

If Dugu really conquer the country

Forgive to ask you this

Then where should you be?

I've spoken all the good words

Sir Dugu

Don't be ungrateful

I fought on the battlefiled

and earned all my badges by myself

and earned all my badges by myself

I really don't understand

why I have to be grateful to you

He is really tough to handle

My lord

I'm willing to spare the burden for you

Don't act by yourself

He is the father of Bore

Let's waot and see

He hasn't taken the prime minister's job yet

Right?

My lord, you're right

Yang Zhong this old fox

said he is sick and absent to the court

He just sent his son to capital

Who is his name?

His name is Yang Jiang

Yang Jian

Help me to send somebody to keep an eye on him

If he enters the capital

Notify me immediately
