(Episode 91)

Are you saying Chairman Yu is awake?

And he met with Lawyer Park in secret?

And he's hiding the fact that he's awake?

What should we do now?

If we don't make a move,

both you and I are in danger.

We need to move Chairman Yu right now.

Move him?

Are you telling me to abduct him?

Are you going to sit by and do nothing then?

You just said this is dangerous for both of us.

If we leave him there, who knows what he'll do?

Do whatever it takes

and get Chairman Yu out of there! Right now!

Take him to this place.

I'll get everything ready.

But why do I have two moms?

I'm the mom...

Who gave birth...

To you...

And your current mom is the one that raised you.

But Maeum, if this is too difficult for you...

You can just keep calling me Miss Jiyu.

Do what makes you comfortable, okay?

Mom...

Can I just call you mom too?

I...

I like you Miss Jiyu.

I mean, I like you Jiyu Mom.

Thank you, Maeum.

Thank you. I'm sorry, my baby.

Then do I get to live with mom and you, Jiyu Mom?

How could you have such a big mouth?

Naturally, I thought he knew.

Why didn't they tell him yet?

Goodness. Do you even know how old Maeum is?

Jiyu was being so careful,

not to hurt that child...

Okay, okay. I get it.

He had to find out anyway.

Thanks to me, he knows now.

Goodness. How could a grandma say that?

Who are you to keep scolding me?

Who else? I'm Park Bokja.

Goodness, what's the point?

I shouldn't bother either. Goodness.

Oh, my. I haven't seen you in a while.

What are you doing here?

That's what I'd like to ask.

You stole someone else's baby

and pulled a marriage con.

How are you still here?

What is wrong with your parents?

Where's Kang Jiyu?

She should be with Maeum in the guest house.

Some inconsiderate woman ran her mouth.

Excuse me.

Then you should both also go to the guest house.

Why?

Goodness. Oh, no.

Did something happen to Maeum?

Yes, that's right.

So you should both go.

Goodness! I knew this would happen.

This is all your fault. So you fix it.

- Go on. Hurry. / - What's wrong with you?

What's your problem?

That poor boy must be in shock.

You go, I don't care.

Hurry up and come.

I hope he didn't faint.

Come on.

Hurry.

How dare you...

You dare...

Don't waste your energy.

It'd be best if you come quietly.

Let's go.

Get in here.

Goodness, Jiyu.

How's Maeum? Is he okay?

Yes, he's a little stunned but he's fine.

Goodness.

My heart just sank.

It's not even a big deal. Why did she send us here?

Excuse me?

Chae Seorin or whatever her name is.

She acted like this was an emergency

and told us to hurry to the guest house.

Chae Seorin?

What...

What's with her?

Father.

Father, we're here.

What's going on here?

No...

I've given him a sedative.

But he's in a very bad condition.

You should take him to the hospital.

He just has to hang in there for a few days.

Okay then. I'll get going.

How is Chairman Yu doing?

He fell asleep after being given a sedative.

He just won't die...

I can't believe you got back up.

What now?

We've dealt with the emergency...

But they'll know that I abducted Chairman Yu.

First off...

I had nothing to do with this.

What?

I'll act like I don't know anything

and work out what's going on inside the house.

So act like you did this all on your own.

If something goes wrong...

You'll make me take the fall. Is that it?

There's going to be a board meeting

for the chairman inauguration.

Until I become the chairman...

Make more time.

Become chairman?

Did you find a way to get the shares?

I plan to make use of this opportunity.

Fine. I'll help you with whatever you want.

But on one condition.

Once you become the chairman, I want...

To be vice-chairman.

I didn't know...

You were this interested in the company.

I need something to gain in order to

keep helping you out, don't you think?

Agreed.

Let us do that.

Now, you'll find out...

What it is that I really want.

Maeum knows everything now.

So I was staying with him...

And left this room unguarded. This is all my fault.

I should not have left his side.

What do you mean, Maeum knows everything?

Your mother told him that I'm his mom.

Is Maeum okay?

He's still too young to understand everything.

Let's find the Chairman first and

explain to Maeum carefully later.

Did you get the surveillance video?

Yes. We should be able to find out what happened.

Pass it here.

As expected, it was Chae Seorin...

Why do you think she snuck him out?

She must have found out...

That he was awake.

She probably figured she had to stop him somehow.

Seeing as she did it knowing she'd get caught.

This means...

She's definitely planning something.

We must call the police and find father.

You!

Just what do you think you're doing?

Where's father? Tell me right now!

Don't worry about father.

I'm taking good care of him.

If you're thinking about reporting this to the police,

just forget it.

The moment you tell the police...

I'll expose Mosung Group's slush fund.

- I have all the ledgers. / - Chae Seorin!

If you call the police and find father...

He'll have to be investigated right away.

No...

I may decide to do something else before that.

Where are you? Tell me right now!

So stay quiet for a few days. I'll bring him home then.

Chae Seorin...

Is she planning something?

If we inform the police...

She's threatening to expose the slush fund ledgers.

She stole even the ledger that I had.

So Chae Seorin...

Holds everything.

She's certainly trying to buy time.

We need to do it without the help of the police.

We need to find something we can do.

For now...

We should keep it a secret from everyone else.

It won't help to get this out.

But...

Wouldn't Secretary Byeon already know?

Will you be okay?

This is the only way.

Even if you buy time now...

What will you do after this?

I'll do what Byeon Ilgu says.

First, we'll create a power of attorney...

And force Chairman Yu to choose Byeon Ilgu

as his successor.

And I'll become the vice-chairman.

Then you'll remove Byeon Ilgu after that?

Removing Byeon Ilgu is simple.

I already have all the proof about his corruption.

What about the fact that you have a fake identity

and how you stole Kang Jiyu's child?

If that gets exposed, you're in danger too.

Don't worry. I'll use my tears to save myself.

I'll explain how Chairman Yu and

Byeon Ilgu ruined my life...

And whose fault it was that my life ended up this way.

I'll reveal how I became a mom

and raised the child with love.

Then the public and the media will be on my side.

How will you fake the power of attorney?

What do you mean fake?

Chairman Yu...

Will sign that document himself.

I was going to make porridge for

the Chairman to eat tomorrow.

Did you clean that all up?

Yes.

He's gone to the hospital so you don't have to cook it.

They must be worried that he still hasn't woken up.

That's why he's been taken to the hospital.

Is that another lottery ticket?

Why do you always do that? You never win.

I did it yesterday, so I do it again today,

and since I do it today, I'll do it again tomorrow.

That's life. You don't know anything.

Goodness.

You are so devoted.

What will you do with the money if you win the lottery?

That's right. What do you plan to do? I want to hear.

It's because I want to give someone a life of luxury.

And who is that?

Goodness. You are so clueless.

Is there a school to learn how to get a clue?

I'll pay your tuition.

If I were to win the lottery...

I'd give it all to Jiyu.

You can't pay for your sins with money...

But I'd like Jiyu to live more comfortably

with that money.

So I'd like to do that.

Then why don't you buy one too?

Goodness.

Is it true that they moved the Chairman

to the hospital?

He was gone when I came back from the guest house.

Why did they do that? Did he take a bad turn?

Will you be going to the hospital starting tomorrow?

Goodness.

It'll be so much work for you, Jiyu...

What are you doing?

Tell me where father is.

What are you talking about?

I know...

You and Seorin did this together,

so tell me where father is!

I don't know anything!

You don't know?

You turned Hong Sunbok into Chae Seorin.

You've been using her all this time,

how could you not know?

Where did you take my father?

Are you trying to frame me again?

You may have fooled Jangmi...

But it won't work on me.

That's right! Your sister will fall for it again!

No matter what you do...

If I say you're framing me, she'll believe me again.

What?

You saw how stupid your sister is!

You should stay quiet

if you don't want to fight with your sister.

For over 20 years...

She's devoted herself to you.

Even though you manipulated her

and married her for revenge, but still...

Think of all the time you've spent together!

Think of Mirae!

How could you just use her like this? How!

It was hard for me too!

I'm the one who lived with a woman I loathe!

It was torture!

If you keep this up,

I could expose everything.

Chairman Yu is in my hands now.

I could tell your sister it was all a lie

and that it was all for revenge.

I could tell her everything.

If you truly care about your sister...

You'd better stay quiet.

Imagine how broken she'll be

if she finds out the truth.

- Don't you agree? / - Byeon Ilgu!

Just wait.

Once I become the chairman...

I'll let you hold your father's funeral.

If anything happens to father...

It'll be your funeral. Got it?

It wouldn't be bad to all just die together.

Is this why...

You told me to come to the garden?

To show me this?

I felt...

You had to know now as well.

Help me up, Gangu.

I'm going to kill him and myself.

Let go. Let go!

- Calm down, Jangmi. / - Let go of me.

Let go. I'm going to kill that jerk.

How...

How could he do this to me? How?

Jangmi, you need to listen to me.

Forget it. You can't stop me, I'm going to kill him.

Please get your act together!

Byeon Ilgu and Chae Seorin have abducted father.

What?

If you do this, we'll never find father.

In order to find him,

you have to pretend you don't know and help us.

How could I do that? I can't.

I'm going to destroy him.

You must, Jangmi!

That's the only way father can return alive.

Let's stop here for today.

Do you have any questions?

I have a question.

What silly thing are you going to ask now?

A mother who births you and a mother who raises you.

What happens to a child that has two mothers?

Doesn't he naturally go to the birth mother?

Wouldn't it depend on the situation?

Wouldn't you agree?

Hmm...

Wouldn't what the child wants be important?

Then the kiddo's decision is important.

That's true...

Who will our kiddo choose?

Since then, the crocodile

has only followed Captain Hook.

Tick-tock, tick-tock.

The crocodile is approaching.

Miss... I mean, Jiyu Mom.

Yes?

Why isn't mom coming home?

It's because she's busy. She'll be here soon.

Do you miss mom, Maeum?

Yes.

But I'm happy because you're here, Jiyu Mom.

So everything has been a lie.

Even from the start...

Did you never love me?

You just wanted to use me?

All this time...

I've been completely fooled.

I really loved you.

There was nothing I couldn't do for you.

What are you doing?

In order to find father...

You need to pretend you don't know and help us.

Oh...

I was putting it back because it fell over.

Really?

Why aren't you in bed? Go to sleep.

Yes, I will.

Yes...

I'll hold back just until we find father.

Now I'm going to use you.

I'll show you how I, Yu Jangmi, takes revenge.

Just you watch.

Dad...

Come here.

Maeum.

Dad, are you hurt again?

No.

I hope...

I only have one dad.

Huh?

I don't mind having two moms.

But I don't want two dads.

Okay.

I'm...

Sorry, Maeum.

I am...

Very sorry, Maeum.

How is he?

He seems to have lost his speech again.

It's harder for him to walk as well.

You must take him to the hospital

before he gets any worse.

Okay. You may go.

It must be very frustrating.

I'm sure you want to shout at me.

But it'll be best if you never speak again.

That way, your past sins will stay hidden.

You always said this to me.

Nothing is more certain than your fingerprint.

Put your thumbprint here.

You owe me at least this much. Don't you agree?

(Power of attorney)

Do you really think I'd hand over Mosung

to something like you?

All this...

Is what you taught me, father.

I'm just using your methods...

Exactly as you use them.

No. No!

No...

Thank you, father.

With this...

I may be able to forget.

I will forgive you.

You dare...

Why the sudden meeting?

We suddenly called a meeting...

To hold the chairman inauguration...

That was postponed last time.

Wasn't it delayed

because of Director Yu Gangu's personal reasons?

This chairman inauguration...

Will not be for Director Yu Gangu.

Then who will become the chairman?

I'm sorry for being late.

I was late getting the Chairman's power of attorney.

Power of attorney?

Are you saying father gave it to you himself?

He called me alone.

That's odd.

You're not close enough for father to call you alone.

I wonder what ploy you used.

What do you mean ploy?

I simply did father's errand.

The Chairman has given his shares and authority

over Mosung to Secretary Byeon Ilgu and myself.

As is written in here.

The Chairman has chosen his successor.

The new chairman is Secretary Byeon Ilgu.

Does that mean you have the golden key as well?

When I was the Chairman's assistant and caregiver,

I was told about the golden key.

The Chairman said

that he'd give his successor, the golden key.

So...

Do you have that as well?

What happened?

He's in a bad state.

You need to take him to the hospital.

There's nothing more I can do here.

If the Chairman chose you to succeed him...

Show us...

The golden key.

Miss Kang Jiyu...

This is not your place be.

Miss Kang Jiyu has a point.

The Chairman has always said

that he would hand over the golden key,

which has been around since the establishment

of Mosung Group, to his successor.

You know this very well, Secretary Byeon Ilgu.

I've seen it too.

Father said...

He'd give the golden key to Director Yu Gangu.

But the power of attorney goes to Secretary Byeon Ilgu?

Something doesn't seem right.

You're becoming the chairman,

we don't want a single doubt or suspicion.

We need to make it clear.

The Chairman has the golden key.

If he did choose Secretary Byeon Ilgu

to be his successor...

He would've given him the golden key as well.

If you're the true successor,

you must bring us the golden key.

Without it, we cannot accept you,

as the successor.

Then on the day of the inauguration...

The man who holds the golden key

will be inaugurated as the new chairman.

The new chairman...

Will be decided on that day.

Chae Seorin!

(Secrets of Women)

So is the new chairman Secretary Byeon

or Director Yu Gangu?

It's the man who has the golden key.

You're wrong. The chairman is neither of them.

Where did you take father?

Just wait till we find father. I'll kill you and myself!

Min Seonho is on our tail.

If the chairman dies,

she'll be guilty of abduction and murder.

Father, what's wrong? Father!
