(Episode 90)

Are you awake? Do you recognize me?

Wait right here. I'll call Dr. Jo.

Do you want to say something?

Don't tell them...

That I...

Thanks. You may go.

This diary...

Has Byeon Ilgu's secrets, right?

Looks like you've found the diary.

Yes, I just got it.

With this...

You've regained some of my trust.

Looks like you can still be of use to me.

Both the diary and the security video...

Everything's been taken care of.

So that diary...

It must have some grand secret in there.

Seeing you go so far to get it.

That's not your concern.

You shouldn't forget...

That all this was thanks to me.

I already know.

So keep helping me to become the chairman.

I have my plans.

I'm sure that diary...

Has something important.

I'll go down and find something to clean this mess.

I...

I wanted to make him pay...

For all the pain you went through.

But I lost it all.

Your times...

My memories with you...

You...

I lost it all.

I'm sorry, mom.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, mom.

Byeon Ilgu did this.

He's the one who's the most threatened by the diary.

This is Byeon Ilgu's doing.

Is he okay now?

Yes, thankfully.

He's awake, so the worst part is over.

Chairman.

I know you can't talk or walk right now,

but you'll get better over time.

Hang in there.

Dr. Jo, I have a favor to ask.

A favor?

There's something the Chairman asked for me to do.

You... Only you...

Only you can know.

You want me to keep it a secret...

That you're awake?

Yes... Yes...

He said to let only Director Yu Gangu know.

Please keep this a secret for now.

I will.

Since that is the Chairman's will, I'll follow.

Please let me know if you need my help with anything.

Where is it?

Where's my mom's diary?

I don't know what you're talking about.

Give it back to me right now! Give it back!

I said I don't know anything about it.

You're the only one who would've stolen it. It was you.

Hey!

Stop that right now.

Where do you think you are?

How dare you try to hit my husband?

I'm just trying to get my mom's diary back.

Why? So you can threaten him with it again?

Threaten? I'm just trying to expose the wrongdoings...

Who are you accusing of wrongdoing?

It's you two that did the wrongdoing.

And you dare frame and threaten my husband?

The real reason dad has collapsed is you two!

It's because you framed my husband.

What are you talking about?

You've seen the video evidence!

So you'll keep using the video to frame him?

How dare you, you jerk!

Jangmi?

What are you doing?

Fine. You're working together now, is that it?

Jangmi.

You think I don't know you two framed my husband?

What do you mean, framed?

What have you lied about this time?

How dare you raise your voice?

Listen carefully.

Looks like you planned to kick him out

and take the company for yourselves.

But don't even dream of it.

You won't get your way, as long as I'm around.

Don't you dare frame him and threaten him again.

Then I don't care if you're my brother.

It'll be an all out war. Got it?

That's not it, Jangmi.

Honey, that's enough.

I'm sure they get the message now.

Let's go upstairs.

Hey, Yu Gangu.

You shouldn't team up with this random guy.

Think of how good Ilgu was to you.

He practically raised you.

How could you do this? How could you?

Calm down, honey.

Director Min.

I don't have this diary you claim that I have.

Don't accuse an innocent man.

Let's go.

If you keep harassing him, I won't forgive you.

Watch it.

I'm sorry about Jangmi.

She's been fooled by Byeon Ilgu's mask

for a long time.

It was hard for me to accept who he was.

She'll need time.

I'll explain everything to her.

That time...

I made a mistake in mentioning the diary.

I momentarily lost control and made a mistake.

We have other evidence, so don't worry.

That diary...

Was not just evidence.

I must get it back.

That diary...

Has secrets that I never want to expose.

You're home late.

I told you not to mistreat me.

Should I remind you what I went through

because of your father?

What do you want to say?

I feel like it's unfair.

I became miserable because of your father too...

But why are you a sinner in front of Kang Jiyu

and so blameless with me?

Are you saying I need to get on my knees for you?

That wouldn't be a bad start.

Shouldn't you be thinking about

all the things you've done to me all this time?

And why did I do that?

Everything began with your father.

Just get out.

I don't even want to talk to you.

I need to ask you something.

Answer me and I'll go.

Secretary Byeon was looking for a diary.

The diary Director Min Seonho's mother left him...

Do you know what's written in it?

And why do you need to know that?

You seem to be helping Ilgu, but do it alone.

I have no interest whatsoever.

Why would I help Secretary Byeon?

When Jangmi is taking care of it for me.

Why didn't you show me some interest?

Then I would've given you a heads up

that Jangmi was going to get rid of the video evidence.

But it's too late now.

To think Min Seonho knew these secrets

and didn't say anything.

If all this is true...

Did something happen at Chairman Yu's house?

Things are always happening at that house.

Being quiet would be strange.

But...

Why did you suddenly quit?

You can't even eat.

My heart...

Feels like it's burning up inside.

I can't stand it.

Is it because you feel bad about seeing Jiyu suffer?

No, the thing is...

Goodness, goodness. This is driving me crazy.

You know, when I see people who did wrong,

I just want to grab a bucket of sewerage water

and pour it on their heads.

But how could Jiyu look at her enemy...

And actually nurse him back to health?

I just don't get her.

Killing someone can be revenge,

but saving them can also be revenge.

That's Jiyu.

Trust Jiyu in all she does.

Here.

Eat up and regain your strength.

Mrs. Park...

You are like Jiyu and Jichan's mother now.

Father looks better today.

It's okay now.

Gangu is alone.

Father?

He said not to let anyone else know.

Father.

Thank you.

Thank you for waking up.

Thank you so much, father.

I am sorry...

Gangu.

I...

I was wrong.

No...

Jichan, are you leaving for work?

Are you okay, Mrs. Park?

You look weak, and you aren't eating well.

This is so not like you.

It's okay. Don't worry.

Mrs. Park.

I'm glad you stopped working there.

I was worried it'd be too tiring for you.

It's good that you quit now.

Don't say that...

Why would you worry about me?

What do you mean?

We're family. It's only natural I worry.

I wish Jiyu would quit too.

But I guess she can't because of Maeum, right?

Yes, I think that's what it is.

Maeum is in that house.

That's why Jiyu can't leave that house.

You are Jiyu and Jichan's mother now.

I said I'd protect Jiyu...

But I left her there alone.

I can't be like this. I need to go back.

Go where?

It's all thanks to you, Jiyu. Thank you.

Not at all.

Please keep it a secret from everyone else...

As father asked.

I know.

If Secretary Byeon or Seorin find out that he's awake...

His life could be in danger again.

We need to proceed without them knowing.

Byeon Ilgu and Chae Seorin...

We'll make them pay for their crimes.

And I'll help you get father to repent...

For his past sins.

The Chairman can't even eat.

Why are you putting in so much effort?

I just want him to eat as much as possible.

You really are the most thoughtful person.

I need to go grocery shopping.

Okay, go ahead.

Mrs. Park...

I thought it over...

And I still have a lot to do here.

I need to help you get Maeum back.

Who else would help you but me?

Right?

Mrs. Park...

You don't need to say anything.

Even if you don't...

I know exactly how you feel, Jiyu.

Don't worry.

No matter how disgusted I am...

I will do everything you ask me to do.

May I make the porridge?

Did you prepare the rice?

Goodness me...

Geez, geez, geez.

Geez, you can't even pour the rice properly.

And you spilled it all over the floor.

Then help me instead of just talking.

I can't do that with my own hands.

I'll do it with my mouth.

You do it with your hands.

Are you really going to be like that?

You can quit now if you want.

I need to show Gangu things like this.

Then do it right.

We don't have any rice that's been soaked.

Move out of my way.

Grind it up nicely.

Oh, my goodness. What is going on here?

Madam says she wants to make porridge.

But I don't know if it'll be edible.

We'll have to watch and see.

What brings you here, Lawyer Park?

Well...

I came to see if the Chairman is doing well.

Please get home safely.

Thank you.

What's going on?

Why did Lawyer Park come out of father's room?

You just heard.

He was checking on the Chairman.

Excuse me.

I asked you last time...

But I think you're misinformed about something.

Excuse me?

You can be honest with me.

Father certainly said that he'd leave me some shares.

He never instructed me to give you company shares.

That can't be right. Please check again.

He certainly said that he'd leave me shares.

I'm sorry.

But I haven't heard anything about your shares.

If you'll excuse me.

You can't do this.

After what I went through because of you...

But you lied about giving me shares too?

I can't...

Take this any longer.

What do you think you're doing?

What? You think I'll kill him?

Sure.

Even if he wakes up,

he won't give me anything anyway.

He'll probably look for a chance to kick me out.

It may be better for me if he'd just die quietly now.

That way, I can use Byeon Ilgu...

And become Mosung's owner.

Watch what you say.

Worry about yourself.

What right do you have to tell me what to do here?

Tell me the truth.

You regret saving Chairman Yu, don't you?

The man that killed your father.

You wish he'd die, don't you?

Stop it and get out. Get out!

Let go!

Isn't it nice coming home with me?

No. I like coming home with Miss Jiyu the most.

What the?

I even bought you ice cream on the way home.

That's betrayal.

Goodness me, goodness.

You must be Mirae and Maeum.

Who are you?

Who else?

I'm your grandmother.

Goodness.

Excuse me?

I'll let you rest.

Fool.

You are...

You truly are a good person.

You...

Have a heart as clear and pure...

As spring water.

You...

You truly are a good human being.

Chairman Yu is awake?

Since when...

Since when was he awake?

Does that mean...

He heard what I said?

No way.

Is that why he called Lawyer Park?

He must've rewritten his will.

Oh, no.

If I don't make a move...

I may really get kicked out empty-handed.

It's the first porridge grandma has ever made.

You two try it first.

It has the appearance of a porridge...

But I don't know about the taste.

Of course it'll taste good.

This isn't porridge. It's so bland.

What? It doesn't taste good?

I did everything you told me to do.

Why doesn't it taste good?

Food is all about the hand that cooks it.

You can't be a good cook overnight.

What was that?

Maeum, do you like it?

It tastes bad.

Miss Jiyu makes it tasty.

It tastes bad?

Miss Jiyu?

Maeum, why are you calling your mom that?

You should call her mommy.

Goodness.

What are you doing?

How can you say that? It's a secret.

Why is Miss Jiyu...

My mommy?

Goodness...

Terrible news.

That lady who says she's my grandma

has dropped a bombshell...

Huh?

What do we do?

She told Maeum...

You didn't tell Maeum who his mom is?

Are you my mom?

I heard the Chairman collapsed.

Did you know?

Hey. Zip it.

Open your wallet and zip your mouth.

That's how you make it far in society.

You're the one who told me.

What? I heard it from him too.

Did I tell you?

Geez.

Hello.

You're getting prettier by the day.

Goodness.

Do you know such comments count as harassment?

What...

I can appreciate that you have good taste...

But keep it to yourself please.

I'm lost for words. I don't know what to say.

If you're lost for words, why are you still talking?

Let's go.

I know, I know.

By the way.

Miss Yeo is going well with Mr. Nam.

So don't get in the way.

Unless you're winning a life time achievement award.

What the...

Hey, have I been totally wrecked today?

It's okay.

This is where you were.

Did you come to see me, Soyeong?

No, I came to see Director Min Seonho.

Director Yu Gangu asked to see you in his office.

He said he couldn't reach your phone.

I must've left it in the office.

Bye.

Doesn't Soyeong smile like an angel?

There he goes again...

His got his love lenses on again.

Is that true?

The Chairman woke up?

Yes.

Other than Dr. Jo and Lawyer Park...

Jiyu and I are the only ones who know.

I think it'll be safer to keep it a secret from the family.

Let's go and see father...

Together.

I agreed to discuss it with father first...

What to do with Byeon Ilgu and Chae Seorin.

And I think...

Father would want to see you.

Are you my mom, Miss Jiyu?

Maeum.

But I already have a mom.

The thing is, Maeum...

Do I have two moms?

Yes.

You said before, right?

You wished you had two moms.

Your wish came true.

That means, Maeum...

You get double the love.

But why do I have...

Two moms?

Hurry up.

Why you...

How dare you...

You dare...

Don't bother resisting.

It's best if you stay quiet.

Let's go.

Father...

Father, we're here.

What's going on?

What happened?

(Secrets of Women)

Is Chae Seorin up to something?

If we call the police,

she says she'll hand them the slush fund ledgers.

You may have fooled Jangmi, but it won't work on me.

That's right! Your sister will fall for it again!

You saw how stupid your sister is!

This is the power of attorney stating that the Chairman

has handed over the rights and shares of Mosung

to me and Secretary Byeon.
