(Episode 46)

Mrs. Park!

Why did you lie to me?

Why did you deceive us?

Sunbok...

Is alive.

Why did you lie and say she is dead?

Why did you lie and say she was dead!

I don't know. I don't know.

Mrs. Park, you know something, don't you?

Tell me everything.

Why did you say that Sunbok was dead?

Why is she with that man?

I don't know. I don't know...

- Mrs. Park! / - Jiyu, what's wrong with you?

Jiyu.

How does Jiyu know that Sunbok is alive?

What do I do now?

It's bad if Jiyu finds out....

Mrs. Park.

I don't know anything.

I don't know a thing.

Because you were unwell...

I wasn't able to tell you earlier.

My mom...

My mom...

She's gone to be with dad.

My mom...

She would've met dad by now...

In heaven.

Mrs. Park...

I am going to find out who killed my parents...

And I'll make sure they suffer.

So...

You need to help me.

Please.

I don't know anything.

I don't know.

(Woman from J Hotel Room 840)

I get it now.

This was...

The woman from the hotel.

This is her.

Dad definitely...

Met her.

And Sunbok too.

You held me in the hotel that night.

And you called me Kang Jiyu.

What more of an explanation do you need?

I need to meet this woman.

How Sunbok met Gangu...

How Sunbok became Chae Seorin...

She may have the answers.

Hey, Seonho.

You know Miss Yeo from the planning team...

She's totally my type. What do you think?

Geez. Are you in love again?

You fall for women so easily.

Hey, you're the strange one for liking

only one woman.

Jiyu.

I'm sorry for bugging you so early.

You're welcome 24 hours a day.

Psycho.

I said I'd ask you for a lot of help, right?

As much as you need.

I want to find the person that wrote this number.

I tried calling, but it's been disconnected.

I must find the person who used it 5 years ago.

Is it an important person?

I must check something with them.

Okay. I'll look into it.

Thank you.

What is it?

You're going to make me do something weird again.

Last time, it was a license plate number.

What is it now?

(Chief Director Yu Gangu)

I made simple changes.

The chairman will recover and be back soon.

You're using it only until then, anyway.

This is good enough, right?

It's fine.

Let me know if you need anything else.

I'll let you work.

This is this week's schedule.

Is the workload manageable?

Yes.

With this...

Let's go with this.

Isn't this a bit old?

Why is that necessarily bad?

New but old. Old but new.

There are things like that.

You're right. I got it.

Accepted.

Yo, brother. I'm here.

Did you look into it?

Last time, it was a license plate number.

This time, a phone number?

Come on.

I know you can do it.

Nothing is for free.

You found it already.

Yes, Seonho.

I found the owner of the number.

Really?

What else can I help you with?

I want to meet her.

Okay. I'll set it up.

Seonho.

If you're going to apologize, please don't.

I'm the one who's sorry...

For what happened to mother.

Okay.

I won't think about it anymore.

Your mother's final wish...

You remember it too, right?

From now on, no matter what it is,

discuss it with me first.

I looked into it and she does modeling.

I said we're with Mosung's fashion business

and she took the bait.

She has no idea you're coming.

Then I'll wait for her here.

Why don't you two wait over there?

Okay.

Did you move Gangu into the chairman's office?

Yes, just as you directed.

The position creates the man.

He needs to sit in the chairman's seat

to understand what is required of him.

Look.

Yes?

You should act appropriately for your position as well.

Don't treat him improperly because he's younger.

You serve him as the acting chairman.

Don't forget that you are the chief secretary.

I understand.

The position doesn't make the man.

The person who steals the position

becomes the man who owns it.

You'll realize soon enough.

So until then...

You should protect that position as long as you can.

I won't stay here forever.

Are you Min Seonho?

We had a drink last night.

I guess we overdid it.

He's totally passed out.

He won't wake up.

As you can see, we're lovers.

I heard you wanted to meet me.

Not me. Someone else.

Excuse me?

We know each other, don't we?

It's been two hours already.

Jichan won't smile at all.

- His big smile is his charm. / - I know.

He hasn't smiled ever since

his mother passed away.

Byeon Mirae.

You brat. What time is it?

You should be at vocal training.

Why are you here again?

I said I want a new vocal trainer!

What?

The cafe guy?

He has a name, you know?

A cool name. Kang Jichan.

You're infuriating.

Come with me.

How will you ever become a singer at this rate?

I can learn how to sing from him!

Get out here!

Jichan...

Mom and dad's accidents...

Are they really related to that family?

We met 5 years ago, didn't we?

I don't know. I can't remember.

Then why did you try to run away?

Because something felt strange.

You told me...

You were Yu Gangu's lover.

Look. I have countless men.

How can I remember that?

Tell me everything

that happened at the hotel.

Chae Seorin...

Made you do it, didn't she?

Who?

I don't know who that is.

You don't know Chae Seorin?

I don't know what you're talking about.

I'm leaving.

You met my dad too, didn't you?

That's what I want to know.

What did you tell my dad?

What did my dad find out after meeting you?

I said I don't know! What's your problem?

Don't bother me again.

Bae Misu.

Before I reveal it myself...

You should confess first.

That is your last chance to be forgiven.

Should I go after her?

No. This is enough.

If she is associated with Chae Seorin...

She'll tell her that we met.

I just have to wait and see...

How Chae Seorin responds.

Are you alright, Jiyu?

You seem tired.

I'm fine.

I've been through worse.

Why were you away from your desk?

Excuse me?

It's lunch time.

Come with me.

Have you had lunch?

Yes.

My schedule for the afternoon.

You know it, right?

You need to check on the renewal store.

Come with me.

We'll leave in an hour.

I'd like some tea please.

I've brought green tea.

Where's Kang Jiyu?

She's preparing your schedule,

so I brought it instead.

I see.

Is it safe to leave Kang Jiyu next to Yu Gangu?

If I get rid of Kang Jiyu,

Yu Gangu may refuse to be the acting chairman.

Then we can't ensure that he'll be the successor.

What should I do?

What is it?

Nothing. It's nothing.

What brings you to the office?

Oh, the Director is visiting the new store.

He'll be out soon.

Really?

Hey!

Why didn't you take my call?

You... What are you doing here?

Here comes the director.

Are you going together?

I'll drive.

Okay.

How dare you show your face here?

It won't be good for you if you treat me like this?

What?

Do you know who I just met?

That woman came to me. Your husband's girlfriend.

What? Who?

Kang Jiyu.

She found me and I met her.

I came to tell you to be careful.

I need to be compensated for that slap.

Tell me properly.

How could Kang Jiyu find you?

She seemed to know everything.

What?

I think I'll need double of

what you paid me last time.

Otherwise, I'll just tell her everything.

No way...

Did Kang Jiyu really...

Did she get her memory back?

Can I ask you something?

Yes.

Why did you return?

Because this is my job.

You could've done something else.

I didn't think you'd come back.

There is still much to be done.

I was worried about the chairman as well.

I see.

What was the answer I was hoping for, Jiyu?

Hello, Director Yu Gangu!

Who is that?

She is my new assistant, Kang Jiyu.

It's nice to meet you.

- Then... / - Let me explain everything...

To tell you about this store...

It's the store that's been recording the highest sales

since last month!

Please come with me.

This is the simple and modern

color and design, our signature line.

This has the feel of France,

our casual line.

Kang Jiyu's got her memory back.

But why is she acting like she doesn't know me?

What is she thinking?

Kang Jiyu...

I said you could go home.

Why won't you listen to me?

I agreed to prepare the chairman's dinner.

Either housework or company work.

Choose one or the other.

It's too tiring for you.

Being physically tired...

That's really nothing.

Are you here to prepare the chairman's dinner?

Yes. What is that?

I'm taking the dry cleaning over to the guest house.

I see.

Wait.

Hold on.

What is it?

This...

It's Madam Seorin's dress.

What's wrong?

It's nothing.

Let me...

Take that to the guest house.

Why?

I need to go there anyway.

Okay then. Can you?

Yes.

She was definitely there...

When mom had the accident.

Hong Sunbok...

Chae Seorin...

She was definitely there.

Kang Jiyu.

We need to talk.

What is it?

I heard you met someone with Director Min Seonho.

I was informed that you used the fashion business...

To meet someone.

That's strange.

I never told her my name.

On top of that,

she claimed she didn't remember who I was.

How did she know my name

and inform you of our meeting?

Well...

That woman and Chae Seorin

definitely know each other.

That's why her number was in dad's journal.

Fine.

I'll be honest.

I saw you meet her. That's how I knew.

Why did you get Director Min involved to meet her?

I think...

You're asking the wrong question.

What?

Shouldn't you ask me...

Who she was first?

No...

Kang Jiyu...

I got...

My memory back.

Among the memories I had lost,

I remembered her like a photograph.

What?

She didn't get her memory back,

but rather, remembered that scene?

I thought if I met her,

I'd be able to get some other memories back as well.

That's why I asked Director Min for help.

Does that mean she didn't get all her memory back?

Am I supposed to believe her?

Hong Sunbok.

You...

What did you do to my mom and dad?

Inside our hearts...

There are always two wolves fighting each other.

One is cold and heartless.

And the other...

Is warm and peaceful.

Which one wins?

The one that you feed, wins.

An Indian chief told his grandson this story.

And my father told it to me.

And my father added...

Always be a person that feeds the warm wolf.

I'm sorry, dad.

From now on...

I will feed...

The cold and heartless...

Wolf.

Goodness.

What a palace.

It's even bigger than your old house.

I used to think your old house was the biggest

but I was wrong.

Wow. I've never seen a house this big before.

- Let's go in. / - Okay, let's go in.

Who is that, Jiyu?

She took care of me since I was little, like family.

Really? Okay. I'll go

and get the ingredients for kimchi.

Wow, so this is what the kitchen

in a palace looks like.

It must be nice living here,

even if you're just the cook.

Look at the refrigerator. Look.

Maid.

How...

(Secrets of Women)

The better you are, the more modest you should be.

However, he seems a bit arrogant.

I don't think he's arrogant.

He's not planning to team up with Min Seonho, is he?

Yu Gangu, are you really planning

on becoming the chairman?

How may we help you?

Is Secretary Chae Seorin here?

This makes it no fun.

What?

Then my mom has been living with Kang Jiyu

this whole time?

Did you really get your memory back?

Just what have you been doing?
