Once upon a time, there's a city called Lin'an.

There's a legendary treatment centre in the city.

The Best Treatment Centre In The World

There's a legendary physician in there.

Legend has it

that he has superb medical skills.

The patients treated by him

are recovered in less than half a month.

The treatment centre only releases numbers once in a month.

On that day,

those seeking numbers form a long queue

and make the road

all packed.

Stop pushing.

Come on.

Dismiss, everyone.

The numbers are limited.

We've distributed all the numbers.

Everyone,

we're really sorry.

The numbers for this month are distributed.

Please come earlier next month.

Please go back, everyone.

Please go back.

Dismiss.

Sigh.

I didn't get it again.

The Best Treatment Centre In The World

No.

I can't wait anymore.

Today,

I must get a number.

The Best Treatment Centre In The World

My name is Su Xiaowan.

I'm 16 years old.

In my daily life,

I sell flowers for a living.

Do you want flowers?

Hi.

Buy a flower.

My parents passed away a long time ago.

Give it back to me.

I live together with my brother.

My brother has trouble walking.

I've promised to cure him

as best as I can.

How dare you bully him!

So I place all my hope on the treatment centre.

I didn't expect

the sudden appearance

of a person

to ruin my plan.

He's

the charming,

gorgeous,

talented and legendary eldest son

of the jeweller family, the Gu family,

Gu Yanxi.

The jewelry designed by him

is unique

and sells like hot cakes.

The Gu family

makes a fortune because of this.

However, he's distant and aloof.

He's over 18 years old, but he's still single.

He's the dreamboat

of all the girls.

She fainted. Get Physician Ru Ying.

The story of me and him

began when I

accidentally kicked him.

A Love So Romantic

Episode 1

I met an old friend in Gu Mansion and waited for my lover under the moon.

Young Master Gu.

There's a critically ill patient.

The pre-examination room can't figure out the cause.

Can we make an exception

and allow Physician Ru Ying to treat her first?

This is minor.

You don't have to trouble Physician Ru.

A friend of mine

has the same symptom as this girl.

He's treated

using a home remedy.

Sir, may I know

what the home remedy is?

Stick a needle at Shenting point

to remove the toxin.

To apply the blood-letting therapy,

you need the biggest needle.

You can use this.

I'm experienced

in acupuncture.

I did it for my friend.

Physician, don't worry.

She fainted again.

This is not looking good.

Hurry up.

Carry her inside.

Mr. Yanxi, are you all right?

What's wrong?

Let's get changed.

Let's go.

Since I was born, this symptom

recurs twice every month.

Come on.

Open your mouth.

Show your tongue.

If you asked me,

you're not seriously ill.

Then what's considered to be seriously ill?

It's serious when one vomits blood or something.

I'll prescribe something for you later.

Nourish yourself and you'll be fine,

all right?

Next.

Hey.

Wait.

Goodness.

Is this serious enough?

Did you say

your sickness recurs every month?

That's why I need to get a number from you, physician.

When it recurs,

I can come here to seek treatment.

What's your name?

turn to me with this number at the treatment centre.

Thank you, physician.

How did you regain consciousness so soon?

Physician Ru Ying is highly skilled.

Thanks a lot.

So you pretended to be ill to get a number.

What are you talking about?

You're a liar.

You lied to get a number, right?

Return the number!

That's right!

Return it!

Physician Ru Ying could testify for me.

I'm innocent.

Ru Ying?

Hey!

Get her!

Don't let her run away!

What are you staring at?

Get her!

Yes.

What's wrong with you?

I was bitten by a dog.

Which dog bit you?

The bite mark

is neat.

The dog just ran out from your room

and now you're asking me?

Well...

I bet you could tell right from the beginning.

She must have a reason.

Even if she has a reason,

she's a liar.

Don't talk about this.

By the way,

how is your grandmother lately?

The Best Treatment Centre In The World She took the prescribed medicine,

but she's still not recovering.

Her condition worsened in the past few days.

She's not playing with a full deck.

I'm here this time

to invite you to go to my mansion

to check on my grandmother

and see if you can prescribe her something else.

The Old Madam is troubled

by the unresolved problem.

Reward for locating a missing person As long as it's not resolved,

Gu Wan'er, 16 years old, from Lin'an she won't get any better.

A peach blossom birth mark on left arm There's nothing I can do.

It's been 10 years.

There's no news about Wan'er.

If we can't find Wan'er,

my grandmother

will remain unwell.

Handsome reward for locating a missing person, Gu Wan'er

Xiao'an, don't worry.

Things will become better for us.

Soon

we can go to the treatment centre

to treat your feet.

Today,

I even got a number at the best treatment centre in the country.

We'll go there tomorrow.

What?

Where's the number?

Physician Ru Ying,

please testify for me.

I'm innocent.

Ru Ying?

Hey!

Get her!

Oh no.

What's wrong, sister?

Oh.

Nothing.

I was excited

and I left the number in the treatment centre.

I'll need to make another trip.

Gu Mansion

Who are you?

Who is it?

Keep quiet.

Who's there?

There's no one.

Let's go.

Keep quiet.

Lower your voice.

What if you draw their attention?

When you did that just now,

it's either too loud

or you'd have a bad fall.

It's unprofessional.

Was it?

I've been doing that here for years

and nothing happened.

Years?

You're young.

You shouldn't resort to despicable means,

all right?

You should turn over a new leaf.

I thought

we're

the same type of people.

Are you kidding me?

This is my first time.

The family's eldest son

took my stuff.

By the way,

do you know how to go to Mr. Yanxi's room?

I do.

I'm telling you.

Go along the alley.

Turn right.

Turn right again.

Go right to the end

and that's it.

The mountain shall remain,

so is the river.

We'll meet again.

Goodbye.

Goodbye.

Oops.

I almost forgot the important thing.

Yuanhe.

Where are the clothes?

Me?

What are you waiting for?

Put it on for me.

Where's the belt?

It's you.

Not me.

It's not me.

You didn't see anything, did you?

No.

No.

No.

You...

I didn't see anything.

You tried to con the physician in the treatment centre in the afternoon.

I exposed you

and you held a grudge against me.

Now you even want to steal from my house.

I admit that

I was wrong in lying to get a number.

My name is Su Xiaowan.

I want to get my brother treated.

There're too few numbers.

They're all taken early in the morning.

I...

I did this as I was at my wit's end.

I left my number with you.

That's why I came here.

Seriously?

Seriously.

I swear that

I'm telling the truth.

The number is in your clothes.

If that's the case,

I took your stuff

and even wronged you?

If you want to put it that way,

I can't deny it, can I?

Then there's no room for negotiation.

See you in court.

Hey, don't be like this.

The number is in your clothes.

I'll leave after taking it.

Do you think I'm a fool?

Hey.

Guards!

What are you doing?

You're a bully.

Me?

Who else?

Oh.

So you think you're great just because you're rich?

Do you?

Just because you're the rich Young Master Gu,

you could simply take away others' stuff

and bully others?

Do you?

Do you?

What do you want?

What else do you want me to do?

I...

There's something there.

Guards!

Guards!

Mr. Yanxi!

Mr. Yanxi!

Mr. Yanxi!

There's a thief in the mansion.

Get her!

Don't let her escape!

Yes!

Psycho.

Yuanshuang.

Mr. Ziqian.

What happened out there?

I heard there's a thief in Mr. Yanxi's room.

Mr. Yanxi was furious.

He told them they must catch the thief.

Now I remember that I left the book given by my teacher

outside.

I'll find it.

Mr. Ziqian.

I'll go instead.

It's all right.

You have no idea where it is.

Yes.

The Best Treatment Centre In The World In order to get this number,

Su Xiao'an I risked

my young and dazzling life.

Guys!

Search over there!

Yes!

As for you,

go this way!

Yes.

Don't miss even a tree

or a pot of flowers.

Yes!

Keep quiet.

What's wrong?

Someone is here.

I saw a silhouette at the garden.

Let's find out!

Who's there?

What are you staring at?

Haven't you seen people snogging before?

What are you waiting for?

Why aren't you catching the thief for Mr. Yanxi?

Let's go.

The guards at this mansion are rather considerate.

It's unsafe here in the mansion.

You should leave.

Listen!

From there,

take a turn and go over the wall.

Then you can leave the mansion.

Oh.

Aren't you leaving with me?

I can't.

If the two of us go together,

it will be too catchy.

I have to take the other way.

Ye?

Bow to heaven and earth.

Bow to my mother.

Mother.

With him around,

you don't have to worry about me anymore.

You'll surely recover.

The couple will bow to each other.

My husband!

My husband!

My husband!

Little liar,

you're not allowed to call me that.

Give me back the jade pendant.

You...

You have yet to tell me

your name.

Since we're married,

you belong to me.

How can I not know

my husband's name?

You're asking for too much.

The jade pendant is beautiful.

I wonder whether it'll remain so

if I drop it?

My name is

Gu...

My name is

Ye.

Then I'll call you Ye.

Ye.

I'll surely find you.

The Best Treatment Centre In The World

Is he Su Xiao'an?

That's right.

He's Su Xiao'an

and I'm his sister,

Su Xiaowan.

I'm here today

to explain to you about the number.

I knew you pretended to be sick.

I just wanted to know

why a girl

like you

would even vomit blood

just to get a number?

Do you feel pain?

I feel nothing.

How long has he been like this?

It's been around a year.

Last year,

we went up a mountain to gather herbs.

He accidentally fell from a cliff.

He survived,

but his feet have never recovered since.

I heard this is

the best treatment centre in Lin'an.

So I came here to seek treatment.

You came to the right place.

Your brother's feet

are indeed incurable.

However, the more incurable a disease is,

the more we should study ways to treat it.

I remember

reading about an acupuncture method in ancient books.

Use Zhenggu Herb and apply hot compress for months.

I think it might work

on your brother's feet.

That's great.

It's just that...

What is it?

If I treat him continuously,

it will be costly.

As long as you can treat Xiao'an's feet,

I'll work out

the rest.

Flowers for sale!

Flowers for sale!

Flowers...

Gentleman.

Take a look.

My goods

are cheap and fine.

Gu Mansion is recruiting servants?

That means I'll get to see Mr. Yanxi.

Employment Notice That's right.

I heard Gu Mansion offers the highest monthly salary in Lin'an.

Seriously?

-Gu Mansion? -I'll give it a try, too.

The guy pulling a long face?

Forget it even they offer a high salary.

I can make money elsewhere.

Wait.

That's not right.

Once I enter Gu Mansion,

I'll have a chance to see Ye.

Employment Notice

These are the newly recruited servants.

Please take a look.

I hope he doesn't see me.

I hope he doesn't see me.

Lift your head.

Mr. Yanxi is talking to you.

Mr. Yanxi,

I caught a cold.

I've been coughing non-stop.

I shall not lift my head and answer you.

I don't want to get you infected.

It's you.

Do you know each other?

Since when does Gu Mansion

have low requirements?

Why was this kind of person recruited?

Hey, watch your mouth.

I went through proper assessment

and got in as the winner of the first place.

Yes.

She's the first to have passed and obtained the token.

She works really fast.

Bring the rest away first.

I shall see

how capable she truly is.

Yes,

Mr. Yanxi.

Follow me.

Stupid Mr. Yanxi.

He wants me to plant so many flowers in half an hour.

Is it even possible?

Forget it.

For the sake of Ye,

I'll put up with it.

It's finally settled.

I need to go back to answer to Mr. Long Face.

You can't pick fault with me, can you?

Goodness.

Old Madam.

Please be careful.

Walk slowly,

all right?

Wan'er.

Grandmother,

please watch out.

Walk slowly.

What?

Old Madam,

you've got the wrong person.

Wan'er,

you're indeed back.

Wait.

Old Madam,

take a seat.

All right.

Sit down.

I'm seriously not Wan'er.

You've made a mistake.

Hey.

Where are you going?

Old Madam,

I'll ask someone to pick you up.

I have something urgent to do.

I'll make a move first.

Wan'er!

Mr. Yanxi!

I've completed my work!

Time's up.

Yuanhe,

kick her out.

Mr. Yanxi,

I've already planted the flowers.

I was caught up in something.

Please listen to my explanation!

Take a look!

You can't do this, Mr. Yanxi!

No one is allowed to kick my Wan'er out!

Grandmother,

why are you here?

Grandmother,

you're finally here!

Oh,

Wan'er.

It's indeed you.

Let me take a good look at you.

Grandmother,

I missed you a lot.

What's going on?

I have no idea.

I missed my Wan'er badly, too.

Goodness.

How have you been

over the years?

Yes.

Goodness.

Why is your face so dirty?

Yanxi,

you're not taking good care of your sister.

Grandmother,

Wan'er was dying to return home.

She'd been rushing along the way.

She has yet to get changed.

Please get some rest in your room.

Later,

I'll bring her to see you.

Yuanhe.

Yes.

Old Madam,

please.

Wan'er,

after you get changed,

come and see me straightaway,

all right?

All right, grandmother.

Hurry up.

Hey.

What's going on?

Hey,

don't blame me for this.

The Old Madam insisted on calling me Wan'er.

She refused to let me go.

Are you threatening me using my grandmother?

Allow me to stay

and I'll help you to please the Old Madam.

I have no idea who Wan'er is,

but the Old Madam looked anxious.

I think she must be an important person.

If the precious person who just arrived home

suddenly disappears,

how will the Old Madam react?

Oh dear.

Gu Mansion

Are you done?

How do I look?

The clothes are fine.

Humph.

Ask other servants in my grandmother's room to leave.

We mustn't let anyone

see her in this.

Yes.

Humph.

Let's go.

All right.

Do you remember it?

Yes.

Yuanhe.

All right.

Ciyun Hall

Yanxi.

Grandmother.

Wan'er is here.

Goodness.

Wan'er.

Grandmother.

You're here.

Take a seat.

All right.

Oh dear,

where have you been over the years?

Grandmother,

I don't remember my childhood.

My parents told me

I was not their biological child.

They adopted me and raised me up.

It's good that you're back.

Luckily my brother found me

and brought me back.

Thank you, brother.

You're welcome, sister.

Grandmother.

It's time for you to take your medicine.

Here.

Oh dear,

I'm not drinking it.

It's bitter.

Be good.

I'll feed you.

I didn't expect

Mr. Long Face

to have a gentle side.

We're here.

This place?

This is the only servant room left.

There's nothing I can do.

Hey.

What?

I am now the granddaughter of the Old Madam,

I'm considered a lady of the mansion.

It's inappropriate

for me to live here, right?

Well,

Mr. Yanxi issued an instruction.

For Old Madam,

you just need to serve her in taking the medicine twice a day.

You remain a servant here in other times.

You should obey Mr. Yanxi.

What?

Do you have any problem?

Nothing.

It's great.

Take the clothes.

Have a safe trip.

It's perfect.

I've spent a long time in cleaning up.

However,

where is

Ye?

Why isn't Ye here yet?

Wait.

You're here.

Take a look over there.

Today...

The moon is round today.

Bathing in moonlight

is good for the body.

It's a good exercise.

Well,

recently,

they're patrolling the mansion more frequently.

Do watch out when you get in next time.

Don't climb over the wall like what you did last time,

all right?

Why should I climb over the wall?

Mr. Yanxi.

What are you doing here

in the middle of the night?

I'm waiting to catch someone.

Mr. Yanxi, you have no idea.

This is the place

where drunkards tend to accidentally fall.

If they fall and bleed, that will be dangerous.

I don't want them to get hurt.

So I come here specially to help them.

Why don't you get another job?

What?

You work hard in daytime

and help others at night.

You're too good

for Gu Mansion.

Wait.

No, Mr. Yanxi.

I need to make a living to support my family.

I need to look after my sick brother.

Brother?

Yes.

If he knows he has such a sister,

who's great at lying and conning others,

I wonder what he'll think.

Humph!

Fine, I'll leave.

Humph.

Su Xiaowan.

So what if Mr. Yanxi is mean?

So what if he criticised you?

Look at what happened.

I failed to get paid for being a servant

and I failed to find Ye, too.

This is bad.

It's too late to think about this now.

I should pack up and leave.

I can

make a living anywhere else.

If

I'm fated to meet Ye again, I will.

I shall leave.

I don't like this place anyway.

By the way,

I should pass this to the Old Madam.

Grandmother, it's time to take the medicine.

Oh dear.

No.

It's bitter.

You hate it as it's bitter, right?

Yes.

I know you don't like the bitter taste.

Therefore,

I specially prepared this for you.

What's this?

This

is wild honey.

Drink it with the medicine

and it won't taste bitter.

I've put a few spoonfuls of it in the medicine.

Come on.

It's not bitter.

It's not bitter.

It's really sweet.

If you like it,

I'll make more for you next time.

Sure.

Sure.

Come on.

It's sweet, right?

Are you all right?

I am.

Why are you here?

I...

You advised me earlier on.

When I got home, I decided

to turn over a new leaf.

It happened that Gu Mansion

was recruiting

an apprentice.

So I got here

to learn about doing business.

Wait.

Why are you here?

Oh,

I...

Great minds think alike.

Having a stable job

matters a lot, too.

So I came to Gu Mansion to be a servant.

We might get to meet often in the future.

Yes.

What were you doing up there?

Oh.

I was getting honey for Old Madam.

You have a lot of skills.

Have you been wearing this jade pendant

since you were young?

This?

Why are you asking about it?

Do you still remember me?

You,

this jade pendant

and me.

I think it happened when I was really young.

I don't remember it.

Oh.

-Mr. Zi... -Hey!

Who is this?

I'll make the introduction.

This is my buddy

who's sharing a room

with me.

We were working just now.

He said he couldn't find a broomstick.

He wanted to look for one.

Right?

Broomstick?

Wait.

It's right here.

Well...

No wonder I couldn't find it.

Did you simply place it around?

Yes.

Yes.

We have to work.

We'll make a move first.

All right.

Wait.

Thank you for saving me today.

I'll surely repay you.

Don't mention it.

Wait.

Tomorrow,

I'll see you here.

I'll surprise you.

Well,

it's a deal.

All right.

Wait.

That's not right.

Mr. Long Face is kicking me out.

How can I meet Ye if I leave?

Also,

Ye has yet to recall me.

No.

I can't leave.
