[Legend of Fuyao]

22

~Episode 57~

23

I also found out some clues with my investigation.

24

I can already vaguely see the truth behind the royal palace of Plough.

25

Maybe your identity is closely connected with this royal palace.

26

We must start here.

27

But if we want to find out the truth, we must ask the help of one person.

28

Who?

29

Alioth.

30

He has been in the palace for a long time. As Feng Xuan's shadow,

31

he knows about what happened in this palace more than anyone else.

32

Why would he help us?

33

I have an agreement with him.

34

As long as I'm able to help find out the whereabouts of his daughter,

35

he then will secretly help us here in the Royal Palace of Plough, and try his best to restrict Feng Xuan.

36

The matter you want to investigate and the truth that I'm looking for

37

are the same. Different paths but towards the same ending.

38

Maybe, the two of us are people of the same boat.

39

You are loyally serving under Feng Xuan, bringing disaster to your nation and its citizens, killing loyal and good subjects.

40

How can I qualify to be talked about in the same manner as you?

41

That's right.

42

I'm being controlled by another, what other choice could I have?

43

For so many years, I've been played by Feng Xuan on the palm of her hands.

44

It was not because I desire for some wealth, fame, or glory,

45

or being able to live a luxurious life. It's only because...

46

...there is a knot in my heart that won't go away.

47

And the person who can help me untie this knot is Feng Xuan.

48

Because...only she knows

49

the whereabouts of my daughter. Only her.

50

Elder, you're looking for Feng Qi and Feng Wuming?

51

I know that I might never find them.

52

For so many years, I've hidden behind Feng Xuan to be her assassin

53

just because she told me that they're still alive.

54

I dare not listen to her words.

55

What if...they are truly still alive?

56

Elder,

57

your daughter probably is still alive.

58

Hence, he didn't know that his wife is dead?

59

Alioth was the commander of the Purple Cloak of Plough Nation.

60

He has the duty to protect his nation. When Feng Qi was 8th month pregnant,

61

I heard that in the Wuhai (Misty Sea) of Fufeng, a sea monster wreaked havoc and the citizens there were in a terrible situation.

62

Of course, Alioth wouldn't just sit and not intervene. He then led his men south to Wuhai.

63

In the end, he missed the birth of his own child.

64

Yes. When he returned, 5 months had already passed.

65

Feng Qi and her daughter

66

were already missing and Feng Xuan has become the queen.

67

All these must have been done by Feng Xuan to obtain the royal throne.

68

Feng Qi's death must be connected with her.

69

He also had the same thoughts. But he never expected

70

that other than having deep desire for the royal throne, this Feng Xuan also have constantly kept him in her mind.

71

Afterwards, Feng Xuan used the whereabouts and lives of his wife and daughter

72

to threaten him to stay by her side.

73

Although Alioth is part of the ten saints, he has made a pact with Plough

74

that as long as Feng Xuan is still in power, he would obey her command.

75

Does Alioth believe her that much?

76

It's not that I believe her,

77

but it's more that I can't lose this hope.

78

It's almost 20 years. Actually,

79

I have stopped imagining that they are still alive,

80

but I mustn't end this hope.

81

If I don't have even this hope to rely to,

82

what else would be my meaning of living in this world?

83

I promise you that I'll find them.

84

but you must cooperate with us especially during the critical time.

85

What do you want?

86

What do you want in exchange?

87

If she's really your daughter, I just hope that

88

you two can reunite. That's all.

89

This Alioth is also a pitiful person.

90

Hurry! This way!

91

Alioth and I agreed to meet at Astute Time Palace 2 hours from now.

92

- Hurry up!

- Let's quickly leave now.

93

Over there!

94

Still trying to escape?!

95

I've kept these incenses for a long time.

96

I initially planned to light them when you get married.

97

From the looks of it now,

98

I don't need to keep storing them anymore.

99

Zhi'er...

100

You can't blame me for being ruthless

101

or blame Fan'er for harming you.

102

If you want to blame anyone, you can only blame being born in the royal clan of Plough.

103

Since you were born,

104

you should have known that this path

105

is a life and death struggle. That only one will survive in the end.

106

Of course, I know that...

107

...the person who killed you isn't that fake doctor.

108

I also know...

109

...you died in an unjust manner.

110

But so what?

111

The phoenix crown of Plough has always been stained with blood.

112

You are my flesh and blood that I've bore in my womb for 10 months.

113

How could I truly bear to watch you die?

114

But...

115

...your fate was bad.

116

You heard those words that you shouldn't have heard.

117

It's not that I don't trust you. What I don't trust

118

is the rotten hearts of the Plough's royal clan.

119

The royal throne can only belong to one.

120

Although you're older by a few years,

121

in terms of intelligence and strategies,

122

schemes, ruthlessness...

123

...you are way inferior to Fan'er.

124

This royal throne...is a prison...

125

...and a bait.

126

Massacring one another, not caring about one's life or death.

127

Whoever is the victor in the end...

128

...would become Plough's most respected person.

129

You should feel fortunate...

130

...that only one Feng Jingfan competed with you.

131

Or else, you might have been out of the game long ago.

132

If you can understand my painstaking efforts,

133

then bless and protect your mother while you're in heaven.

134

Let me stay in this royal throne...

135

...longer.

136

Let my reign be smoother and steadier.

137

[Astute Time Palace]

138

What's going on?! Say it.

139

Unhealthy disease-causing influences can be divided into clean and dirty. Your exterior and interior—

140

What sickness do I have?!

141

It's...an omen of a demonic poison.

142

Nonsense! The queen of Plough will never get poisoned.

143

Your Majesty, you're wrong.

144

All are made of flesh, hence, you can't avoid getting poisoned, dying, encountering disaster and happiness.

145

Leave.

146

I have the Plough Phoenix Soluble Elixir protecting me.

147

No poison within Five Regions can harm me.

148

I heard that the Phoenix Soluble Elixir indeed have magical effects,

149

but how much of this rumor is true and how much is fake,

150

I'm sure Your Majesty knows it more than I.

151

Moreover, the poison from Firmament isn't also that easy to cure.

152

You dared to poison me?

153

So despicable.

154

What is your intention?

155

I instead want to ask Your Majesty, in poisoning yourself,

156

in doing this monologue that has caused everyone here in the palace of Plough to feel imperiled,

157

what is your purpose?

158

But Your Majesty need not excessively panic. The poison I gave you is light. It won't kill you.

159

At most, you'll just look bad.

160

You are the crown prince of the Imperial City.

161

The future emperor of the Five Regions.

162

You shouldn't be doing this kind of things.

163

Conniving with evil people to harm the queen of Plough, if this reaches the Imperial City,

164

your Emperor Father will punish you for your crime.

165

The inheritance of all the royal throne of the different nations in Five Regions can be challenged,

166

but only your Plough royal throne can't.

167

If Imperial City learns about the strange occurrences here in Plough,

168

learns that the flow of the Lava Gold River would be stopping soon, learns that the person on the throne shouldn't have been you,

169

let me ask you then, who would be punished for her crime?

170

You can't be thinking that I will tolerate you all for framing my people and not do anything, right?

171

Fuyao is a person that I deem more important than my life.

172

Her one word can match your 100,000 shining spears and armored horses!

173

If I'm unable to protect the person I love today,

174

how then can I protect the Five Regions tomorrow?!

175

Your Majesty, you are a smart person. You probably have guessed my intentions.

176

I endured everything until today just for one thing,

177

I want to know what happened in the royal palace of Plough 19 years ago!

178

Dream on.

179

Shuo, he wants to harm me.

180

Kill him. Immediately kill him!

181

I only want to know the truth.

182

Immediately kill him! Right now!

183

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by Fuyao's Court Team @ Viki.com

184

Never thought that...

185

...even you would betray me.

186

Kill me then. Rather than getting covertly killed or poisoned by them,

187

why don't I just die in your sword today?

188

Where are they?!

189

Do it.

190

Move aside.

191

Princess, you can't go in. This person is highly skilled in matial arts. What if you get hurt?

192

This lady has committed a grave crime. As ordered by the queen,

193

she must be immediately eliminated. You actually dared to block me?

194

Aren't you going to hurry and drag that female criminal out here now?!

195

The female criminal...has escaped.

196

What?

197

You're a bunch of useless garbage! You couldn't even guard one person?! Quickly go search for her!

198

Even if you have to turn this place upside down, you have to find her!

199

Yes!

200

Disciple, stop.

201

Grand Teacher...

202

No one is allowed to hurt Fuyao.

203

Grand Teacher, why not? She's a bitch!

204

Do you know what will happen to you for disobeying my command?

205

The name of this sword...

206

...do you still remember? The Chief Plough Sword.

207

In it is Merak and Alioth.

208

It has you and me.

209

In the past, I poured out all the resources of Plough Nation just to make this sword for you.

210

Never expected that today...

211

...you would attempt to use it to harm me twice.

212

Shuo, you can refuse to accept me,

213

ignore me, or betray me.

214

But...you must not doubt my feelings for you,

215

not treat the efforts I've spent on you...

216

...as fake.

217

I don't want to kill anyone!

218

Just this last time.

219

Just this one time.

220

As long as you kill him, I promise you...

221

...that I will tell you everything...

222

....that you want to know.

223

They are all just using you.

224

Only me cares about you the most. Kill him.

225

I will tell you the truth then.

226

I fear that it's too late.

227

Elder, look carefully.

228

Fuyao must be your daughter.

229

Because she...is Feng Wuming.

230

Is what he said true or not?!

231

Tell me, where is my wife and daughter?!

232

With my several years of affection with you,

233

can it not compare to a few words by a stranger?

234

Who doesn't know to make up things?!

235

Just to take away my royal throne,

236

they've invested so much effort and time.

237

First, killing my first queen heir Feng Jingzhi. Now,

238

poisoning to harm me.

239

And even standing here to make wild remarks to drive a wedge between us.

240

Creating a fake daughter for you.

241

Can't you see through it? They are just using you.

242

Why must I believe you?

243

Because your daughter...

244

...has long been dead.

245

I know that you care so much about your daughter.

246

I couldn't dare to tell you. I was afraid that once you learn of this news,

247

you would lose hope and be unable to continue livng.

248

Shuo, in this world,

249

only I care about you.

250

Even if you hate me or bear a grudge against me,

251

I won't let you suffer any pain!

252

But I never thought that they...

253

...they would actually use this matter...

254

...to harm me, to hurt you!

255

How can you leave people with such evil intentions alive?

256

I'd rather die because of not having any antidote

257

and hope that you kill them!

258

Kill these two liars!

259

Elder, I've made you a promise. If she's really your daughter,

260

I only hope that you two can reunite.

261

This is my answer and the fulfillment of my promise.

262

At this point, you can choose to believe or not.

263

But let me remind you first, that as long as I'm here,

264

no one can harm Fuyao!

265

I have a way that can prove if she's really Feng Qi's daughter.

266

Say it!

267

Open the incense cauldron and light the phoenix gallbladder.

268

The ancient way of identifying a kin.

269

Grand Teacher.

270

Grand Teacher, is it you? Grand Teacher.

271

Why did you bring me here?

272

Grand Teacher, I beg you to help me.

273

Just a small favor. Help me kill Fuyao.

274

Help me kill her.

275

Don't you also want to kill her?

276

When did I think of killing of Fuyao?

277

I can kill everyone in this world,

278

but...not her.

279

Is Grand Teacher also protecting her?

280

She is...a bitch that should have died 19 years ago! A bitch!

281

How come all of you are risking your life to protect her?

282

Why?

283

Grand Teacher, help me kill her.

284

Help me...

285

- Help me.

- You really don't know?

286

It was written on the Plough's ancient techniques that in verifying the authenticity of a royal bloodline,

287

a hair from both people will be taken

288

and then placed inside Yingu after a phoenix gallbladder has been burned.

289

It says here that once the phoenix gallbladder is completely burned,

290

if you two are really of royal bloodline, there will be a red light inside Yingu.

291

If not, if you two are completely unrelated,

292

there then will be a dense and persistent black fog that will envelope this place.

293

This is the ancient technique of the Plough's royal clan. It can't go wrong.

294

You two...actually fooled my Shuo?!

295

Look. Look.

296

How could I lie to you?

297

The one who was lying to you all this time are them!

298

Your Feng Qi is dead. Your daughter is also dead.

299

What you have now is only me, Shuo...

300

Shuo, as long as they are around, Plough won't be our Plough anymore!

301

Wuji!

302

Let me tell you that below Young Phoenix Lake, there is an auspicious fire phoenix.

303

Only the royal descendant of Plough Nation who bears the phoenix spirituality can call it out.

304

I...am a princess who was born with a lotus flower.

305

I am the only heiress of the royal throne of Plough Nation.

306

I have a phoenix spirituality. I can help you.

307

Just to wake this fire phoenix up, I've waited for so long.

308

Being able to help Grand Teacher is my greatest blessing.

309

As long as Grand Teacher kill Fuyao...

310

...after I succeed.

311

She can't live! She must die!

312

Fuyao...will eventually die.

313

But to how she will die, on what method will she die, only I will decide that.

314

Grand Teacher said it right. Her life and death can only be decided by you. You have the final word.

315

As long as you are willing to kill her,

316

I will do anything you want.

317

I'll call the auspicious fire phoenix for you now.

318

Quickly come out...

319

Lad, I don't care about your fight for the royal throne nor will I force you to help me out.

320

But in this matter, you lied and used me. You were asking for death!

321

Elder, when you were training in Firmament, have you ever heard of

322

what the phoenix in Young Phoenix Lake is guarding?

323

What do you want to say?

324

If the person sitting on the royal throne of Plough Nation doesn't have a phoenix spirituality,

325

if she's unable to suppress the Young Phoenix Lake, the fire phoenix will then rise high to the sky and disaster will come.

326

The ones that will suffer this destructive catastrophe won't just be Plough Nation!

327

Who really are you?

328

It's not important who I am. What's important is that you must know...

329

...that she's your daughter.

330

Lying to me...all are lying to me!

331

All of you are lying to me!

332

Fuyao!

333

Quickly come out!

334

Quickly come out...!

335

Grand Teacher, believe me, believe me!

336

Stop wasting your energy. You know very well if you will be able to wake the auspicious fire phoenix or not.

337

I can! I can! I am the princess born with a lotus flower.

338

I am...the only heiress.

339

Believe me Grand Teacher. I can do this...

340

- You are not the rightful main royal descendant of Plough Nation.

- I am!

341

You are just a useless imitation.

342

Imitation?

343

I am not! I'm the real one!

344

I'm not an imitation.

345

If I'm an imitation, then who is the legitimate heiress of Plough Nation?

346

Who is? Who has the real phoenix spirituality?

347

Who has it?!

348

Girl's seal has been activated again.

349

This altar is where the spirits within Plough Nation is being gathered.

350

This place can open her third seal.

351

The true legitimate heiress of Plough Nation has appeared.

352

Who?

353

It's Fuyao.

354

Do you believe it now?

355

Plough Nation's spiritual phoenix bathed in fire to be born.

356

So...

357

...the blood is the fire,

358

the phoenix is the queen of Plough Nation.

359

You are the real legitimate heiress of Plough Nation.

360

You are my...real daughter.

361

I finally am able to wait for it.

362

I remembered everything.

363

I initially...

364

...was born in this royal palace of Plough Nation.

365

They said that I'm a princess that was born with a lotus flower.

366

Because I was born during the winter,

367

the lotus flowers that originally have withered...

368

...all blossomed.

369

You have committed a crime. Your crime is being born in the royal family.

370

Since you were born, you are destined to have a tragic fate.

371

Did you come here today to fight with me?

372

Let me tell you

373

that the royal throne is mine.

374

Alioth is also mine. You can't steal him away.

375

Our daughter still has no name. I'm going to stay and wait for him to return.

376

You won't be able to wait for him anymore.

377

The person who saved me is called Xu Wan.

378

She is mother's personal servant maid.

379

Afterwards, I learned that to avoid the searches in the palace,

380

she stayed with me in that narrow secret chamber for 7 days.

381

She told me to forget about my true identity.

382

From now on, my name is Wuming.

383

- Afterwards, Xu Wan got banished to the cold palace.

- You are that

384

Miss Wan who just arrived?

385

- She endured all the hard and exhausting work.

- Come...

386

Open them.

387

Even if she lived a hard life,

388

she did everything to hide me and ensure my safety.

389

If you still want to hide that child,

390

Just to keep this secret, she went through all those unbearable humiliations.

391

Just let me have my way.

392

That time, the abandoned lotus pond behind the cold palace

393

is the only place where I can go. It was also...

394

...the only place where I can let down my guard.

395

Until that day...I met him.

396

Who are you?

397

He was the most good looking person I've seen.

398

He was cleaner than all the lotus flowers I've seen.

399

I was thinking that he must be the brightest and most wonderful

400

god-given gift in this world.

401

How are you? Are you alright?

402

Are you cold?

403

Let's go.

404

I didn't know how long those happy moments will last.

405

Maybe, just an instant. Maybe, forever.

406

But I know that it was him who gave me hope.

407

It was him who showed me that there are still wonderful things in this world

408

that's worthy for me to keep living for.

409

What is this?

410

This is called Mystic Spirit Leaf. I've been wearing it ever since.

411

I'll give it to you. Just treat it as our token.

412

No one has ever gifted me anything.

413

Tomorrow, I'll be leaving Plough Nation. Are you willing to leave with me?

414

What does that mean?

415

I want to leave, but I can't bear to leave Auntie Wan behind.

416

Let's bring her with us then.

417

Your Highness Crown Prince!

418

I'm leaving now.

419

It's agreed then. Wait for me here tomorrow at daybreak. We'll leave this place together.

420

When he said that he'll take me away, I really thought that the dark days will be over.

421

Never thought that the person who will break the agreement and didn't come...

422

...will be me.

423

Give that to me.

424

I won't.

425

Are you going to give it to me or not?

426

I have a way to make you hand it to me.

♫ If there's no sickness or weakness, if there's never oldness ♫

439

♫ How can it make a spark to chase after stars alone? ♫

440

♫ Slim down for him, stay for my heart ♫

441

♫ And even chase away all luck for dreams ♫

442

♫ It wants me to be so pretty that I seize his soul ♫

443

♫ And continue dazzling in his heart ♫

444

♫ There is a saying that what a person asks for the lifetime ♫

445

♫ Is no more than staying together with one's lover by any means ♫

446

♫ If one can't obtain what one asks for ♫

447

♫ One is filled with anxiety and with knitted brows ♫

448

♫ There is a saying that if a person asks for the next lifetime ♫

449

♫ One should only ask to know everything about warfare ♫

450

♫ Dreams beg heart to grant me love ♫

451

♫ And have someone's company for the rest of my life ♫

452

♫ Have someone's company♫
