[The Legend of Fuyao]

22

[Episode 33]

23

Fei Yan never helps people without a condition.

24

For her to teach you such medical skills, she must have taken away more.

25

What did you give her?

26

Forty years of my life span.

27

Don't count anymore. You woon't be able to calculate it.

28

This matter has nothing to do with you. You also won't be able to do anything.

29

You're living...just to seek revenge?

30

When you helped me defeat Qi Zhen, 1/3 of it is to pacify Deep Water Nation.

31

1/3 of it is to prove that you deserved to be the Crown Prince.

32

And another 1/3 is because of our friendship.

33

Now that the matter has come to this, you don't need to help me anymore.

34

For the remaining, just let me resolve them by myself.

35

Qi Zhen's life...my whole clan's revenge...must be solved using my method.

36

You're wrong.

37

I helped you...

38

...half of the reason is because I'm the Crown Prince of Megrez Empire.

39

The other half...

40

...was all because of you.

41

It's the third quarter of chou time (around 2 am). In a few hours,

42

the marriage between you and Princess Folian will be finalized.

43

These past years, you did think of her, whether openly or secretly.

44

Now that there is finally a result, the Plough Nation holds the wealth of the world,

45

the gold and silver production in Five Regions depend entirely on them,

46

if you marry Folian, it's like marrying a mountain of gold.

47

Even you are mocking me. What you mean is

48

marrying Folian is my best choice?

49

Is she the person you're looking for?

50

The first time I met Folian was in the royal palace of Plough Nation.

51

That time, she was so skinny like a cat.

52

But those eyes of hers were so crystal clear,

53

as if it can accommodate everything in this world.

54

Beautiful ones. Ugly ones.

55

Good ones. Bad ones.

56

All of these...

57

...can fit inside them.

58

But there are things that should be clarified from start to end.

59

They can't be done sloppily.

60

You are able to obtain whatever you want,

61

regardless of the method. I never saw you failed.

62

After you two marry, this Crown Prince position will finally be rooted.

63

You would have won again.

64

What about Fuyao? What about her?

65

You kept pushing her to the fiery pit throughout this journey,

66

and then risk your life to save her.

67

Now, the one you're marrying is the princess of Plough Nation.

68

If Fuyao learns this, is that helping her or harming her?

69

Of course, I won't harm her!

70

It's just that...

71

You're finally willing to see me.

72

Wuji is back.

73

This world will soon be my son's and mine.

74

You should understand what I mean.

75

Even if Wuji ascends to the throne,

76

I fear that this world still can't accommodate us.

77

Can nothing be changed?

78

It is exactly because Wuji is back,

79

the more I can't see you.

80

I can't let him see or hear that we're together.

81

Zhangsun Jia?

82

The Wuji now has a more sinister gaze than Zhangsun Jiong.

83

I'm doing this for you.

84

Yi'er, you mustn't let your son look down on you.

85

I never thought of competing with Zhangsun Jiong.

86

Everything is fated.

87

We initially were together first, but he...

88

Destiny makes fool of people.

89

We couldn't do anything about it for we are just measly mortals.

90

Quickly leave.

91

Who told you to be nosy? Who told you to wander around?

92

Now, you've seen somthing that you shouldn't have seen.

93

Empress Yuan and Prince Virtue... Mother-in-law and uncle-in-law...

94

This is too...

95

People from Plough Nation usually wears clothing like this?

96

Wearing such happy colors, I must be going to my wedding.

97

This is true gold?

98

Of course.

99

Our Plough Nation holds pride of only one thing. That is we have so many gold.

100

Counting all the gold in the Five Regions couldn't even compare to us by a place value.

101

Dressing up like this is what my Miss should be looking like.

102

Don't be afraid. Once you enter later, just explain the matter clearly and everything will be alright.

103

I'm just thinking that after I finish this matter, I still must return this dress to Folian.

104

With so many gold, can I not return it anymore?

105

I'm joking.

106

Hey, I'm telling you that from now on, you are not allowed...

107

...you are not allowed to leave without saying anything. You hear me?!

108

I want you to marry Plough Nation's second princess,

109

Folian. The Crown Princess Consort of Megrez Empire

110

must be her.

111

How long are you planning to keep dilly-dallying?

112

You look better with black hair.

113

At least, my efforts in helping you didn't go in vain.

114

I'm giving this back to you. No need for thanks.

115

Today is a very important day. If I continue to delay it

116

and you miss out on your wedding, I'm unable to bear the consequences.

117

Young Lord!

118

Mister. Young Lord, I couldn't wait anymore.

119

His Majesty and Empress are both looking for you. Quickly go back.

120

Wuji, actually...

121

What? Seeing that Folian and I will having our engagement ceremony today, you're against it?

122

If you don't want it, I won't go then.

123

Using words to choke me, is that it?

124

Okay. I won't say any more nonsense.

125

There are things that you will know sooner or later.

126

I'm going now.

127

When you discover that Folian is Fuyao...

128

...that will be interesting.

129

Because of his care towards the citizens, His Majesty has went into seclusion to meditate

130

for blessings for so many days without resting. I presided over the governance of the court,

131

with Prince Assist assisting me. Today

132

is the engagement ceremony of Crown Prince Wuji and Princess Folian.

133

What's more important is that the Five Regions is facing danger.

134

Currently, we must unite the strengths of the different nations, so we can survive this difficulty together.

135

The mythical power given by the Holy Palace of Firmament has been placed and waiting inside the cauldron.

136

Let's not waste any more time. May the different nations submit to me

137

the territorial maps that you've brought.

138

The Megrez Empire map is with me. Let me go first.

139

Megrez Empire is offering the Megrez Empire map to protect the citizens of Five Regions.

140

The king of Heavenly Fiend Nation is offering the map of Heavenly Fiend Nation. May the citizens of the Five Regions remain healthy and secured.

141

The king of Deep Water Nation is offering the map of Deep Water Nation, praying that the citizens of the four nations remain in peace.

142

Firmament, Megrez, Deep Water,

143

and Heavenly Fiend Nation has already submitted their power.

144

We're now just waiting for the Plough Nation princess to come here

145

and submit the map of Plough Nation.

146

I heard that this Plough Nation territorial map is quite special.

147

Does it differe with ours?

148

Yes. It is indeed that way. This Plough Nation map

149

was created by a thousand years of solidification of the Yuezhuo Lake.

150

The five elements of heaven and earth: gold, wood, water, fire, and soil.

151

Other than representing blazing fire, the Plough Nation map

152

has the magical power to condense the five elemental powers.

153

Then it means that the Plough Nation map is the critical factor in condensing the magical powers of the Five Regions.

154

That's right. Only through the coagulating powers of the Plough Nation map,

155

condensing the magical powers of the different nations,

156

we all then can mutually survive.

157

What about the Plough Nation princess? With such an important event,

158

how come we still aren't seeing her?

159

The Plough Nation princess is here!

160

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by Fuyao's Court Team @ Viki.com

161

Greetings, Your Highness Prince Virtue.

162

Princess. I'm sure Princess doesn't know everyone yet.

163

This is Lady Virtuous of Deep Water Nation.

164

This is Prince Eternal of Heavenly Fiend Nation.

165

I've long heard of the great name of the Saintess of Five Regions who saves the world from sufferings and has a benevolent heart.

166

Seeing you today, you indeed have an extraordinary bearing and beauty.

167

I've long heard of the great name of Prince Eternal.

168

I've long heard that the Zhan brothers have mutual respect

169

and deep affection for each others. It's really inviting envy.

170

Since Princess Folian is here, may I ask you to quickly return the Plough Nation map to its rightful place,

171

so that we can maintain the stability of the imperial city and the peace of the world.

172

I have two things to do for coming here.

173

One is to submit the Plough Nation map.

174

It's just that this matter is very important. I want to personally hand the precious map

175

to Father Emperor.

176

What's the other reason?

177

The Heavenly Fiend King connived with Qi Zhen of Deep Water Nation. He sent an army to force a throne abdication.

178

He even framed the crime to Prince Fierce Zhan Beiye.

179

The other thing is seeking justice for Prince Fierce Zhan Beiye.

180

Prince Lie dispatching his army beyond our territory without permission has already broken the laws of our royal court. Folian!

181

Who instructed you?! How could you accuse the Heavenly Fiend King like that?!

182

Zhan Nancheng wanted to obtain Mt. Great Vast, hence, he colluded with Qi Zhen

183

in toppling the Deep Water Nation royal family together.

184

Too bad, Qi Zhen left defeated.

185

Zhan Nancheng's plan ended in vain,

186

yet he didn't forget to blame the fault on Zhan Beiye.

187

Prince Eternal, were all my words true?

188

You...a bunch of lies!

189

Your Highness, don't know where Princess Folian heard these evil rumors. This...

190

Hey, today is moment that the Five Regions should unite.

191

This concerns the welfare of the millions citizens of this world.

192

Let's temporarily not discuss

193

the different nation's state and personal affairs, cooperation and fights.

194

Not discuss?! What's the use of the Megrez Royal Family then?

195

Your words are disrespectful.

196

The Five Regions World has been divided into the Megrez Empire and the other vassal nations to begin with.

197

Wasn't the reason that the Megrez Empire is above all the other nations

198

to mediate fights and give the citizens

199

a peaceful and secured state?

200

If the royal family taking up arms and deliberately inciting a war is just personal matters,

201

what then counts as a major thing? What then counts as a world matter that the Megrez Empire should intervene?

202

Father Emperor once made a decree that the citizens takes priortiy, the nation takes priority.

203

The world now just considers the rich and noble as its citizens, the most friendless and despicable as its ruler.

204

If we just ignore the collusion between the Heavenly Fiend Nation King and a treacherous minister,

205

he using it to frame his royal brother, isn't that ignoring

206

the possibility of a war starting in the Five Regions anytime from now?

207

That is giving free reins on those muddled king that trampled on human lives and bring great suffering to the citizens!

208

Does the Megrez Empire not meddle on such matters too?

209

You are indeed the Saintess of Five Regions. Very concerned about the world.

210

Your chest is full of the citizens of my Five Regions.

211

Princess Folian is indeed eloquent.

212

I just have one thing I don't understand.

213

You and Prince Fierce don't have any interaction.

214

How come you suddenly became his lobbyist?

215

Is Princess Folian giving up the Crown Princess Consort position of Megrez Empire

216

and instead desires to be the Princess Consort of our Prince Fierce?

217

Your Highness Prince Eternal,

218

marriage alliance between nations must be decided by the Megrez Empire.

219

The wedding of Crown Prince Wuji shouldn't be joked around.

220

For the things that I've said,

221

it's not for Prince Fierce nor to target anyone.

222

I only know that grievances should be told.

223

May the Megrez Empire give me justice.

224

- This matter—

- Let's end this matter here.

225

This...is a a silk from the spiritual tree.

226

There is only one person

227

in this world that was given such special treatment

228

to enjoy clothing made from this.

229

But tonight,

230

I gave a sleeping wear made from silk from the spiritual tree to Folian.

231

Mediating the different nations is indeed a major matter to ensure peace.

232

But right now, the merging of the powers of the Five Regions concerns life and death.

233

Folian, no matter for whom you want to seek justice for,

234

bring out the Plough Nation map first to condense the power of the Five Regions

235

and then we'll continue to talk about them.

236

I want to personally submit

237

this Plough Nation map to Father Emperor.

238

Oh?

239

Your Majesty, you have an important guest.

240

I'm not seeing anyone.

241

You won't see me too?

242

These are all citizens that are the blood channels of the Five Regions.

243

Is there any difference between the emperor or the empress?

244

Princess Folian, you kept making up excuses and concealing things.

245

Could it be that the Plough Nation map is not with you?

246

I will submit the Plough Nation map now.

247

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by Fuyao's Court Team @ Viki.com

248

This Plough Nation Map has the effect of condensing the magical powers of the Five Regions.

249

Logically speaking, these five mythical powers

250

should have been merged into one.

251

But how come they are this divided?

252

Could it be this Plough Nation Map is fake?

253

Or that...

254

...your identity as Princess Folian is also fake?

255

Empress, I have something to report!

256

Plough Nation Princess Folian is here!

257

I, Princess Folian of Plough Nation, brings the Plough Nation Map to be offered to the imperial city.

258

I wish that the seas and rivers be calm. The weather be good and the harvest abundant.

259

Sister! Sister, you've recovered from your illness? When did you enter the city? Why didn't you tell me?

260

You are...

261

Looking at how you're clothed, you must be from our Plough Nation too.

262

You don't recognize me?

263

I have never seen you, so how could I recognize you?

264

That's strange.

265

There are two Plough Nation princesses that suddenly appeared.

266

Princess Folian is indeed well-known.

267

But for someone to disguise as her...

268

...this is really unexpected.

269

- She's fake!

- You...

- My princess set up medical tents outside the city

270

to save the refugees. Because of this benevolent heart, she got delayed in entering the city.

271

She rushed to come here in time for the grand ceremony.

272

How come there's suddenly a fake one here?

273

Really?

274

That's right. I am indeed not some Princess Folian.

275

A few days ago, outside the city, I saw this Princess Folian.

276

She was treating the refugees of that noxious illness.

277

She looked like a saintess.

278

But afterwards, she fell ill and claimed to have contracted the noxious illness.

279

When she was lying on her bed,

280

she insisted to give me the Purple Phoenix badge and the Plough Nation map,

281

asked me to give them to the emperor of Megrez Empire. Seeing that she was ill and bed-ridden,

282

I then agreed to her request.

283

- Miss, you must have gotten it wrong.

- You...

- I never contracted the noxious illness and will never do so.

284

Everyone knows that our Plough Nation royal family has a secret Phoenix Fused Internal Pellet passed from generations.

285

All royal descendants will take it in upon birth.

286

With a drug like that, you won't get poisoned or sick.

287

I am the princess of Plough Nation. How can then I get infected by such an illness?

288

Indeed. I've long heard that this internal pellet of the Plough Nation royal family has magical effects.

289

If she's really the royal princess of Plough Nation, she won't get harmed by just a measly epidemic.

290

Come over here! Yesterday, when I entered Cool Mist Palace, you're the one who escorted me there. Isn't it?

291

- You're my witness!

- She's just a lowly maidservant.

292

- The person you're disguising is me. Why must you make it difficult for her?

- You...

293

Yesterday, it was Prince Assist who fetched me to go into the palace. I met with Empress Yuan in Cool Mist Palace.

294

Empress Yuan even asked me to stay for the night. For all of these,

295

which is fake? May Empress Yuan and Prince Assist be my witnesses.

296

Yesterday, I was sick with flu and didn't go out of my house the whole day.

297

Don't even talk about fetching anyone to enter the palace.

298

When were you in the Cool Miss Palace yesterday?

299

I got it now.

300

You were afraid that I saw you last night.

301

- That's why, right now, you—

- Men!

- Yes!

302

Arrest this fake woman. Kill her

303

- as an apology to Princess Folian.

- Yes!

304

His Majesty has a decree!

305

His Majesty has a decree. Calling for the princess of Plough Nation for an audience.

306

The person that His Majesty is calling for is this one.

307

Your Majesty.

308

Rise.

309

If it was just some ordinary person kneeling here in my palace hall,

310

regardless if he has grievances or not,

311

he would be at his wits end.

312

I was only asked by someone to help solve the urgent problem of the Five Regions.

313

About strongly arguing for Prince Fierce, I am in the right and I have evidences.

314

May I ask why must be in fear? Why will I lose control?

315

No wonder you two were able to cause

316

such great disturbance in Deep Water Nation.

317

- Deep Water Nation?

- Yes.

318

You must have the ability beyond that of Folian.

319

That's why, he fell in love with you.

320

But Miss, you don't have any Plough Nation blood in your body.

321

How can you be placed at par with the Crown Prince of Megrez Empire?

322

Crown Prince?

323

In front of you, he might be called Xuanyuan Min.

324

Maybe, it's Yuan Zhaoxu. Or maybe, there's some other names.

325

But here in Megrez, he's the Crown Prince, the future imperial ruler.

326

He only has one name, Zhangsun Wuji.

327

Zhangsun Wuji?

328

Whether I'm a liar or not, we still can't be sure. But you...

329

- ...must be a fake one.

- If you want to live,

330

- shut your mouth.

- Who really are you, Mr. Liar?

331

You will know on the day I remove my mask.

332

I didn't tell you that I'm the Crown Prince of Megrez Empire.

333

You're the Crown Prince? You...

334

His trusted aide.

335

My name is Yuan Zhaoxu.

336

For the matters I did in Deep Water Nation,

337

it was an order from the Crown Prince.

338

- But, he...

- You must want to know

339

why he lied to you.

340

Or to put it another, why was he unwilling

341

to appear in front of you with his real identity.

342

His Highness Crown Prince is here!

343

Royal Mother.

344

Ji'er, you're here.

345

Crown Prince Wuji, long time no see.

346

Princess.

347

I am Xuanji Folian.

348

- Crown Prince—

- The Plough Nation map concerns the life and death of the Five Regions.

349

For Princess Folian to personally come to submit them

350

and help resolve the urgent problem of the withering of the Wing Tree,

351

I thank you in behalf of the Megrez Imperial City.

352

This travel of mine isn't just for the Five Regions.

353

It's more for...

354

...for Crown Prince.

355

I also have waited for you for a long time.

356

He has been spoiled since he was little.

357

Don't know how many romantic entanglement have he already sent out.

358

As they say, a young lad doesn't know problems.

359

Hence, he led a loose life.

360

But he surely hurt your heart by doing that.

361

You are indeed different from other ladies.

362

He indeed had true feelings for you.

363

But you must understand

364

that as a Crown Prince,

365

every step he takes is beyond his control.

366

His marriage alliance

367

concerns the empire and state, concerns the citizens.

368

Hence, he chose Folian.

369

This choice was made at Plough Nation,

370

when he was 16.

371

Since all the members of the royal family is here today,

372

why don't we make good use of this good day

373

and make a decree about the marriage alliance between Plough Nation and Megrez Empire then promulgate it to the world?

374

Wuji, you're late.

375

You missed one good scene.

376

Just earlier, there was actually someone who falsely claimed to be the Saintess Folian.

377

Doing tricks to mislead everyone.

378

Saintess Xuanji Folian is known throughout the world.

379

It can't be helped for some unappreciative people to try to imitate her.

380

For mischief doers like that, just handle them casually.

381

You chose Folian...

382

Regarding if he really likes Folian

383

or how much he likes Folian,

384

is that important?

385

Based on the education he got when he was little,

386

the marriage alliance of a Crown Prince must put the state first,

387

must put self-interest first. Between self-interest and love,

388

he will choose self-interest. And this choice is something that he can do

389

without hesitation.

390

Crown Prince Wuji...

391

...and Princess Folian...

392

...is a pair made in heaven to begin with.

393

And for the crime of you pretending to be Folian

394

to get near the Crown Prince,

395

what punishment should you be given?

396

I never thought...

397

...of pretending to be someone...

398

...to get near anyone (for wealth/status).

399

Even if I'm wearing this dress and standing here today,

400

it's not for some Megrez Empire Crown Prince.

401

These past days...

402

...you wore levels and levels of masks...

403

...and lied to me for such a long time.

404

So many blood has been spilled...

405

...and those pains...

406

...are they all fake?

407

♫ There is a saying that what a person asks for the lifetime is no more than staying together with one's lover by any means ♫

I was just so stupid...

412

♫ And have someone's company for the rest of my life, have someone's company♫

413

...to trust a person that shouldn't be trusted.

414

Your mistake was meeting a person that you shouldn't have met

415

and rendering hope towards him.

416

Why are you telling me these?

417

For the so-called state and empire. For the so-called glory and insult, life and death.

418

That includes you and me.

419

Just like how the different materials are gathered inside this stove.

420

Under fierce fire, using one's effort and time to create a little pill.

421

What is it?

422

Result.

423

What we all are waiting for...

424

...is just one result.

425

It's time for Empress to take her medicine.

426

Yes.

427

From the looks of it now,

428

the weakening of the Wing Tree has been cured.

429

Could there be other kinds of changes?

430

The power of good and evil has always been mutually waxing and waning.

431

Now that there are strange occurrences on all nations,

432

this kind of evil power must be not your average kind.

433

I fear that we need all nations to unite to fight it.

434

Without me saying anything, I'm sure that you all have guessed

435

that this matter has something to do with the item that was sealed after the Firmament Great War.

436

If this item isn't eliminated, the Wing Tree will never be at peace.

437

Empress, the immortal pill for today has been made.

438

I am not feeling very well today. Just put it down first.

439

Empress has a weak health. His Majesty said that you must take this on time.

440

May Empress not make things difficult for me.
