(Episode 15)

Jiyu.

Jiyu.

Jiyu.

I...

I've missed...

I've missed...

Jiyu.

Who...

Is this man?

Why does he...

And why do I...

Gangu!

Wait...

Wait a minute...

Jiyu!

Jiyu. Jiyu.

Jiyu, don't go.

Don't go.

Ma'am, what's going on?

Send her home.

Excuse me?

Are you deaf?

Get rid of her right now!

Yes, ma'am.

- That was close... / - What are you doing?

Move him.

What just happened?

That man...

How did he know my name?

Why did he call my name so desperately?

Why?

Excuse me.

I have to know where you live to take you home.

What do I tell him when he wakes up?

He's very drunk.

He can't even recognize anyone.

Yeah, nothing happened.

He confused me for Kang Jiyu because he was drunk.

Yes.

Yeah.

He confused me with Kang Jiyu.

Just like at the wedding.

That's what happened. That's it.

She's so loud!

Mrs. Park, sleep outside. Sleep outside!

I told you I'm a light sleeper.

Why are you sleeping in here again?

You're driving me crazy.

Is she doing this on purpose?

Does she really have dementia?

I can't stand her!

Jiyu...

I...

I've missed...

I've missed...

What's wrong with me?

Why do I...

Why do I keep crying?

Jiyu.

Jiyu!

Jiyu!

Jiyu. Jiyu!

Jiyu.

Jiyu! Jiyu!

Where are you? Please respond?

Jiyu! Kang Jiyu!

Jiyu!

Kang Jiyu!

Jiyu.

Jiyu...

Jiyu.

Jiyu. Jiyu!

Why did you drink so much?

It was Jiyu.

I know it.

I felt her warmth.

It was Jiyu.

I'm sure it was Jiyu.

It's not like it was the first time,

but it's still hard to get used to.

You...

Calling me Kang Jiyu.

What?

Then the person I saw...

You called me Jiyu like you saw a ghost.

If you do that...

Does that bring back the dead?

But it still felt good.

Since I got to sleep in the same bed with you.

Tell me the truth.

Are you saying that it was you? It was definitely Jiyu.

I'm sure it was Jiyu!

Kang Jiyu is dead.

Kang Jiyu is dead and Chae Seorin is alive.

The warmth you felt last night.

Who do you think it'd be from?

Let's go back inside.

You'll be late for your meeting.

Kang Jiyu...

How could you...

Is this it?

Yes.

- Wait in the car. / - Yes, ma'am.

Kang Jiyu!

We need to talk.

Jiyu.

What's going on?

Seonho...

I'm sorry but can you deliver the milk today?

Sure.

What brings you...

What do you think you're doing?

I guess I can't get through to you with words.

I thought I made myself clear.

And yet you return to my house?

Even after you took my money.

You dare disrespect me?

I was only there

because the chairman called me.

Let's hear it then.

Why did the chairman call the caregiver at that hour

when she was already fired?

Why don't you tell me?

I can't...

Family?

If they knew I collapsed,

those hyenas would jump for joy.

Don't tell those rats

that I collapsed. Ever.

Understand?

Forget it.

If you can't explain then let each of us judge.

I'll warn you based on my judgment.

Don't ever appear in my house again.

Next time it won't end with a slap.

Then...

Why don't you explain now?

What happened last night.

I don't remember that man

but he called out my name.

And that's why you're here first thing in the morning.

Are you still sure that we don't know each other?

Since you can't explain either,

I can make my own judgment, right?

What?

Let me return this first.

I took it because I was too surprised.

But I have...

No reason to accept this money.

Look, Kang Jiyu!

And one more thing.

As of today...

I will continue being the caregiver.

I'm sure I gave you a warning.

What do I do?

But I can't heed that warning.

When you fired me saying I wasn't qualified,

I tried to believe you.

But...

Seeing you this angry without explaining

what happened last night...

I can't believe what you say anymore.

So? What do you plan to do

by returning to work?

Of course I'll take care of the chairman.

What?

What else would I do when I'm the caregiver?

I will nurse him back to good health.

I have to get ready for work now so...

And I'm going to find out.

That man from last night, Driver Oh,

you and me...

What was our relationship.

What memories I have lost.

She hasn't changed. Not one bit.

Even though she's lost all her memory...

Jiyu, you still look down on me.

Fine. I'll make you pay for ignoring my warning.

I'll make you run out on your own.

Just you wait.

That woman earlier...

That was Mosung Group's daughter-in-law,

Chae Seorin, right?

Yes.

Why did she come here?

You said she fired you yesterday.

She came first thing in the morning

and gave me a warning.

She fires you then gives you a warning.

What happened in that house?

It's hard to explain.

Everything is confusing...

But one thing became clear.

There is definitely something there.

In that house...

There's something I must remember

and something I must find.

It's right there.

The bidding for the Seoyeong Market development

rights begin on the 10th of next month.

And this...

It's the GG fashion acquisition push ahead.

You'd be wrong to think that I'm just a useless

old man just because I'm home all day.

No one thinks that way, sir.

Really?

That's good then.

Please sign it off.

Let me review it a little more.

You should be thoughtful with money matters.

I'll crunch the numbers and then approve it.

It's quite urgent.

I'll review it and give it to Gangu

to submit it, so wait.

I understand.

As you wish.

- Is that foolish girl back? / - Excuse me?

If she's here, go and bring her in.

Madam said you quit.

I worked so hard to get here.

I won't quit.

True. It's not easy finding work these days.

So who are the family members that live in this house?

Why do you ask?

I just thought it'd be good to know.

His daughter and son-in-law live in this main house.

His son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Maeum,

live in the guest house.

The driver, other workers and I live

in the dorm by the main gate.

I see.

Then that man from last night

was the chairman's son

and Chae Seorin's husband.

He knew me.

That means the person I must meet

isn't Chae Seorin

but that man.

Miss Kang, the chairman wants you.

Okay...

Hey! Stop right there!

What did I tell you?

I told you, you were fired!

What's wrong, honey?

Honey, I told you what this woman did to me

at the department store.

Kick her out of our house right now!

Honey...

The chairman is waiting. Go on in.

Don't upset the chairman now.

So you dare to ignore Yu Jangmi?

Raise this fool's pay.

- Chairman. / - She quit because the pay was low.

Raise her pay.

That's not it, Chairman.

Why are you standing there?

Yes, I'll do that.

I will head to the office now.

It wasn't about the money.

What you're paying me now is plenty.

Hey, fool.

Grind the ink stick since you're here.

What does he mean by giving her a raise?

The chairman must think the pay I had decided on

was too low.

What the? That's ridiculous.

Since when did dad ever flaunt his money?

She barely started working here.

Why is he giving her a raise?

Did that witch start working on him?

- What do you mean? / - Did you forget what I said?

I'm sure that she did her research

and came to seduce him.

Don't be like that.

No. There's something suspicious about her.

If you can't look into it, I will.

What's so suspicious?

There's something called women's intuition.

If we're not careful, the old man will be bewitched

and become senile.

Goodness, time for work.

Wait and see. I'll kick her out.

Did you call for me?

Go to Kang Jiyu's house.

That's the only place now where mom could be.

I went there again but they told me

she hadn't turned up yet.

Not her old house.

Go to where Kang Jiyu lives now.

This is the address.

Perhaps mom found them before we did.

I don't eat things like that.

Do you still think you're some refined madam?

You've been calling me madam all this time

haven't you?

Forget it then.

This isn't even enough for me.

The best part of going to the market

is for the market food.

What's wrong?

What's wrong?

- What is it? / - What are you two up to?

Who are you?

This is my house.

How can I help you?

Have you seen...

This person here?

That looks like our old maid.

Why are you looking for her here?

I was wondering if she came here.

She should be living in the U.S. with her daughter.

Can I help you with something else?

No.

Good-bye.

That's the man Jiyu was chasing.

Chae Seorin's driver.

But why is he looking for Mrs. Park?

And why...

Is she so afraid of him?

Come in.

Here.

What are you doing?

Oh, my head.

You did well.

I did as you said, and he just left.

She's ignorant, but she'd never do anything bad.

What's going on?

I'll find out what's going on,

so don't worry.

He won't be back.

Please calm her down as well.

I'm sorry.

I'm terribly sorry.

Here's your cappuccino and cafe mocha.

There you go.

The straws are over there.

Thank you. Come again.

Those long arms and legs. Perfect proportions.

Plus he's handsome.

Byeon Mirae! Are you really not going to work?

Why should I work here?

You're going to stay here for free?

You can get the money from my uncle.

Your uncle told me to make you work.

Who am I supposed to listen to?

Do whatever you want.

Anyway, I can't work.

Your uncle gave me a number to call

in case you did this.

As if...

It's not the number I'm thinking, is it?

Why is it that bad premonitions always come true?

You haven't seen your mom for a long time, right?

I'll do it. I'll do it.

I'll work.

I never said I wouldn't.

Uncle.

Hey.

Your niece is such a hard worker.

She's very good.

Jichan, can we talk?

Can't you tell I'm busy?

Then I'll wait until you're done.

What is it? Hurry it up.

I think I saw Jiyu.

I'm sure it was her.

Why are you looking for a dead person?

No, it was Jiyu. I may sound insane but...

You really are insane.

Don't ever come back.

If you do, I'll quit here.

Jichan!

I went to your old house. I saw that you moved.

Where do you live now?

We lost everything, so we live in a tiny rental. Why?

Why? How did that...

That's none of your business.

Mrs. Han tells me

you got married and you're doing fine.

Let's just continue to live our separate lives. Okay?

- About Jiyu... / - That name...

Don't dare say that name.

Where did that jerk see her?

Should I just tell him that she's alive?

What will that accomplish?

It'll only stress out Jiyu.

She's stressed out enough. Let's not add to it.

That psycho.

What is wrong with him?

He's a married man now.

Take these documents to the office.

- Excuse me? / - They're important documents.

So don't let anyone else touch them.

Director Yu Gangu.

Get it into my son's hands.

Director Yu Gangu?

It's that man. The man I need to meet.

- Is this it? / - Yes. This line is the highlight.

- Excuse me. / - Yes...

What is it?

I think the caregiver is going to the office.

The chairman sent her on an errand

to take documents to Director Yu Gangu.

What?

Okay.

Please take care of the rest yourself.

I have an urgent matter to tend to.

Okay...

Hello.

Why are you back?

I'm here on the chairman's orders.

What?

I'm here to see Director Yu Gangu.

That was just a hallucination?

A dream?

No, it was too real.

I felt her warmth when I hugged Jiyu.

I smelled her scent.

It felt like Jiyu.

It was Jiyu.

But Jiyu is...

I checked for myself.

What is it?

Let's go out.

My mom said she's nearby.

Your mother?

She wants to see you before she leaves the country.

She made time for you. You should go see her.

Let's take the stairs.

My mom's waiting.

(Secrets of Women)

It's about father's caregiver.

I looked into her.

I'm having her checked out too.

How dare you...

Do you know Kang Jiyu from the past?

Hong Sunbok will be revealed

while looking into Kang Jiyu...

Are you with Mosung or Mrs. Han?

I just want to protect this market.

Isn't brother-in-law in charge of this...

Brother-in-law?

Are you going to leave your life in his hands?

Why are you handing everything over to me?

Why are you crying?

It's nothing.
