It's so relaxing!

We've been traveling in the desert for 2 days on end and no demons attacked us

I don't mind even if the small fries attacked us. I just want to have a fight!

Speaking of which, we haven't seen Kougaiji lately

I just hope he's not planning something...

Will Kougaiji appear now?!

Goku, you speak as if he is your friend

Because...

Although I don't know how it feels, if this goes on, we'll get rusty

Right. I really want to have a BIG fight with someone strong

Who was the one who said he didn't mind even the small fries earlier?

Sanzo, what is it? You've been really quiet

Does this have something to do with the strange ray of light in the morning?

You saw I too?

I happened to be awake...

What? What? What happened?

Just before dawn broke... There was a ray of light moving

Isn't that just a shooting star?

But its speed is slower than a shooting star's

Somehow something's not quite right about it

Although there is no proof, I feel unsettled

Jiroushin, did you hear that?

Is it that pearl jade?

It's that pearl jade. Because of what that fool did

problems are caused

Just like the rumors in the past, I heard it appeared in Tougenkyou this time

I really want to have a look

What do you intend to do?

Find it. And seal it

That is such a simple order

Don't tell me?! You want to do this by yourself...

That is... a good suggestion

Kanzeon Bosatsu

I'm just joking. I'll leave it to them to handle it

Sanzo and gang...?

What will happen... I'm really looking forward to it!

Gyokumen Koushu, there is something interesting from Heaven

Something interesting?!

A pearl jade that can grant any wish

It seems like after several hundred years, it fell to earth again

It can grant any wish... That's a big discovery

If I can't get Sanzo's Sutra of Hell, then using the wish-granting powers

and the Sutra of Heaven, perhaps Gyuuma Ouu can be revived

Really?

Perhaps

Did you hear that?

Yes

Can you find that pearl jade and bring it to me?

Leave it to me

After obtaining the pearl jade, what should I wish for?

Other than reviving Gyuuma Ouu, do you have other wishes?

Can't I?

No, because that greed is wherein your attractiveness lies

Pearl jade?! I don't know what's going on

Let's ask big brother!

I reckon Gyokumen Koushu is looking for the pearl jade

I heard it can fulfill any wish

Seems like something Gyokumen Koushu would like

Kougaiji-sama

That pearl jade cannot fall in the hands of Gyokumen Koushu

Gojyo, you've eaten 5. I've only eaten 4

If fast you get it, if slow you don't. And no need to haggle over every ounce

They're really absorbed. I just hope they don't upset their tummies...

Leave them be

Even if that is something rare, you shouldn't fall out with each other over it

These fellows...

She appears

Treating others like they're not even there. You're pretty gutsy

Who is that fellow?

Kanzeon Bosatsu

Although she doesn't look like it, she seems to be a pretty important divine being

Hakkai, you're wavering

Hello, Sanzo, how are you?

I was fine before you showed up

That's good

What is it today?

You don't think I came just to visit you?

I don't think so...

What is it?

I want you to find something

Sorry, can you be a little more specific? I'll be very grateful to you...

Simply put, the pearl jade from heaven has fallen to earth

So you need to find it. It's just that

The glow this morning was from that...

Do you know what it is? Understand what you said

Is that pearl jade something really important?

No, it's a useless object

Then we don't have to bother about it

Although it's useless, it's not harmless

Because... it can grant any wish

Why is that harmful? Isn't it good that it can grant any wish?

You can't generalize

Why?

What would you wish for?

I'd wish that I have more than enough to eat

That's all you think about

Don't you want anything else?

Because he's Goku

Other than Goku, I wish that all other humans and demons will vanish

Then all the buns in the world belongs to you. The wish can be fulfilled

How is that possible...

That's just it

No matter what the wish is, it might become something really serious

In other words, that is no ordinary object

Actually it's nothing impressive

Then, why should we find it?

My instructions are to stop the revival of Gyuuma Ouu. That should be it

That's why I say you have to find it quickly

Isn't that unreasonable?

That's not totally unrelated to stopping the revival of Gyuuma Ouu

if the pearl jade lands in the wrong hands

It's utterly ridiculous

That's it. So I'll leave the rest to everyone

Wait. I said, I refuse

The credit card you are using on your journey might not be usable anymore

In other words, we are in no position to refuse

They've set out?!

Yesterday we were heading west. Today we're heading south?

What is it? Aren't we going in the opposite direction?

The opposite of west is east

I know that

It's a matter of feelings. Feelings...

That's what our sponsor wants. There's no other way

Probably... What is that pearl jade?

Sanzo, you should know

I only saw records of it in the scrolls

Throughout time, there are some dreams that were unattainable to the humans

After many years, they solidified and changed into an object to be possessed by its owner

to fulfill wishes

Wishes that cannot be fulfilled?!

The wish to kill someone, to covet someone's property...

It's those senseless things

That is the pearl jade?

Unreasonable and despicable

I agree

Anyway we have to find news of that pearl jade

I'll find some big sisters to ask them about it

I'll find some people in the restaurant!

You want to question a bun?

And you, Gojyo?

I'm asking humans. You're not planning to question food, are you?

Who said the pearl jade appeared here?

Then why did we come here?

We came here to get what we need to seal the pearl jade

Just the necessary tools

Is that recorded on that scroll?

But we can only depend on it

Or we could ask Kanzeon Bosatsu for help?

Definitely not. Over my dead body

What is that necessary tool?

If we don't even know what it is, aren't we looking for a needle in a haystack?

There is no need to look for it

Why?

Looks like it has something to do with a treasure box

Do you know where the treasure box is?

I came to get the treasure box

Then you can use it!

Otherwise why would you look for it?

Everyone should be happy. As mentioned earlier

God's warrior is here to take the treasure box!

God's warrior?!

Sanzo, what is going on?

Why are we God's warriors?!

Shut up. Courting death?

But, we've believed all these while that God's warriors will make an appearance

This is great

Do you want me to bring more food over?

You can bring another 12 dishes over!

What is it?

There is no time, get to the point

Actually there is a bunch of demon gathered at the water source of this town

That must have caused a lot of problems

Yes

So I hope you can think of a way to deal with them

That's why. Why should we act as God's warriors?

Legend has it that the person who comes to retrieve the treasure box is God's warrior

To thank us for protecting the treasure box, everyone's wish will be fulfilled...

Although that's rubbish, we can't just snatch it

There is no other way. Hurry up and deal with the situation

Are we setting off? I haven't had my fill...

And the coffee after rice...

There is no time to waste here

If we don't hurry up, we'll be attacked again

What is it? What are there so many...

Looks like they don't take kindly to visitors

Go away. Those who enter this place will all die!

Looks like there is no room for negotiations

This is a complete victory

It seems too easy

I agree

When did you start becoming so close?

Let's go! It seems really boring

Thank you... Goodbye...

This is the tool needed to seal the pearl jade

Then open the cover and have a look!

What is it?

How is this used to seal the pearl jade?

Only those who use a sword would know

It's really sharp

How rude! Do you intend to kill me?

Sorry, sorry

What is this stone?

I see

Just before the ray of light is where the pearl jade is

That saves a lot of time. We really have to thank them

Progressing very smoothly. If only our journey can be thus every other day...

Wouldn't that be very boring?

Although this is the case...

What the hell? Who did it?

It's been a long time, Sanzo and gang

So it's you

As usual you like to arrange some special method of appearance

Sanzo! I want the box in your hands

If Kougaiji wins, I'll give it to you!

Don't make deals with others by yourself!

What do you think, Kougaiji?

Do you think I'll tell you?!

Sanzo, hand over the box

Brother, quick, defeat this fellow!

This brat!

I haven't seen you in a while

Me too

Everyone's having a hard time

But I'm used to it. Can we start fighting?

Ririn Flying Kick

Back off

Damn!

Put me down. Brother this is...

Looks like you've improved

I'm not playing...

Looks like it. Then I won't be so polite either...

You are my opponent

Is there anything about me you're dissatisfied with?

I hate boys

That's interesting, me too

Really?

How about it? It's ended?

I prefer the scent of other's blood to my own

You can't afford to be careless on the battlefield. Do you know?

Goku, what's wrong?

Of course, I'm enjoying this fight with you

I'll repay you double the amount

Goku, isn't that enough?

Yes!

Are you alright?

Is anything the matter?

Nothing, just a scratch

Kougaiji, hurry up and continue the fight!

Everyone, retreat

Yes

I will get the pearl jade

Really, what a waste of my energy...

Is the pearl jade really in this town?

Hey, there's no use asking me...

Goku, how's the stone?

No change

What a useless stone

But we came as directed. Let's take a clearer look at the situation

That person is...

The saint of this town, she can use her hands to heal the wounded or ill

Recovered. Thank you

Thank you very much

Feel free to look for me if anything happens next time

What?

You have the pearl jade.

Pearl jade?!

What is going on? I don't know

That pearl jade will ruin your life

You'd better hand it over before anything happens

Why did you suddenly come? Don't say these strange things

Looks like it's better to watch the situation quietly and see how it changes

That's right

Granny are you alright?

My chest... my chest hurts

How is it? Do you feel better?

All thanks to you

Speaking of which, that person has been here for a very long time?

Yes

Many years ago, she lived in the slums ahead

Her mother could not tolerate her father's violence and left

Her father often vented his anger on her

One day...

I'll kill you!

Because of her father's murder crime,

She was left to live alone at a young age

But even so, she used that strange power to help everyone in the town

Granny, how is it? Do you still need to take your medication?

Looks like it's useless even if I take any medication. Bring me to where... she is

Understood. Granny, I'll carry you there

Are you serious?

Those fellows. Looks like it's those fellows you pointed out

Fool!

There's no other way. Because he's Goku

There's no other way, because granny is hurting

It's not my idea

Hey Sanzo! Forgive them this once

My chest hurts... My chest hurts terribly

Is your chest really hurting terribly?

Can't you just deal with the pearl jade?

Goku. What have you found out?

I heard she was treated very coldly in the town in the past

Why?

Her father suddenly grabbed a knife and started swinging it wildly

Killing a lot of people in the town

I heard her mother was killed too

Because she was young and had no one to depend on

The townspeople gave her basic help

It's really the barest minimum

Yet you like this life in such a town

Don't you find it strange?

Parents are parents. Children are children

Reason and emotions are two different things

But she's using pearl jade's power

What do you think that girl's wish is?

Getting healing powers

Why?

Maybe what she wishes for isn't healing powers

but to find a place she can belong to in this town

You mean to be valued by others?

I'm guessing that's the case

I don't think that's bad

Then if this town is attacked by bandits or demons...

The pearl jade will give that girl the power to save its people

If she will create a suitable protection

However, if she has a gripe about this town...

If it's serious, the town will be completely wiped out

Yeah

Is that pearl jade really so powerful?

Stop it. Return the pearl jade to me!

That fellow!

That granny is running very actively

We've been deceived

I thought so

Damn!

Wait!

Granny, are you a sprinter?

Granny, you tricked us!

Please forgive me, I want to be valued like her too...

I have no one to depend on. I'm so lonely by myself

I feel this pearl jade has some hidden secret, so...

Please forgive me

I got it

Goku, I'm taking the pearl jade

Kougaiji, that's despicable!

I picked something from the ground. What's wrong with that?

So you won't return it

Are you going to stand by and watch idly?

It's flying back

How can that be?!

The pearl jade has decided who's to be its owner

Kougaiji, you've been abandoned

How meddlesome!

Let's go

Today's business is not bad

Gojyo, she is not doing sales

Looks like the pearl jade will be better in her hands...

Better?

She'll be luckier

But not everyone is thankful to her

But I feel there must be someone who's willing to help others

If giving builds trust, all the better

Helping others without a hidden agenda

Isn't that better?!

The people of this town are very protective of her

You should be happy

The situation seems alright now

Hey Hakkai!

That... injured person?!

He looks bad

He should be dead!

Unless...

Is that true?!

Did you hear anything about her?

She can even revive the dead

What kind of power is that?

She used to be able to heal the wounded or sick

But frankly speaking, it doesn't look good

Sanzo, the conversation earlier...

Let's go back!

You're the people from yesterday...

Do you know what you've done?

It's not a dead person. I just saved him

What's wrong with that?

Killing someone and reviving them is not normal

What do you mean by that?

By killing someone, the culprit arrogantly decides

to take away a person's life

Arrogantly deciding to revive someone is the same

Don't use the pearl jade's powers anymore

Don't simplify it, because of this power, everyone is happy

I'm helping everyone. What's wrong with that?

It was because of you in the past few days. If anything happens to me...

Wait!

This power... I will not hand it over to you

I don't want that to happen again

What?

This is...

That old granny seems to be dead from that angle

Looks like there's something strange about the situation

I'm going out!

Me too

You could revive that person this morning

Yet you can't revive teacher now?

That...

Don't get tricked everyone!

That girl is a demon

Look at this

Even if the cut is so deep, and there is so much blood flowing out

it's not painful at all. And it can heal instantly

What did you do to me?

I don't know

It's not possible that you don't

It's all your fault!

You! Die!

Who... who are you?

I'm a wandering monk. I will not let you attack this girl

Leave her be!

Damn. This child

It would be better if she got killed by her father when he went crazy

No one knows what will happen after they are touched by her

Witch! Monster!

Leave this town. I don't know what will happen next time

Monster, leave this place. Vanish!

Kill her! Kill her!

Right! Kill her!

Wait!

If you don't want to be killed, quick, leave this town

Right... Why are you delaying...

Stop it!

How dare you to forget your gratitude and scold the young girl

Do you know the meaning of shame?!

If you really want to attack others

Then direct it at me!

How... how can this be? How can we do that to a monk...

I understand everyone is scared of her, but this power is granted to her by the heavens

Everyone please believe me and retreat quietly

What an outstanding monk. What a great difference from someone else

Looks like he's the threshold amongst the monks

Isn't that Gyokumen Koushu's henchman?

Really?!

He wants to gain that girl's trust, then take away the pearl jade

What should we do?

Let him be

Just as long as we get the pearl jade in the end

Do you regret obtaining the pearl jade?

I don't know

You helped a lot of suffering people in the past. Why are you crying?

There is no need to regret of what you did in the past

But I'm scared of myself

You're just an ordinary person using the power of the pearl jade to create miracles

At the same time, your intentions aren't wrong

The people at fault are those who made use of you

and then become afraid of your power

The townspeople who treated you like something harmful

But don't worry. I will help you

Help me?

This is not the only place that needs your power

There are many places in the world where people are suffering

That is the place you belong to

The place I belong to?

Right. The place that really needs you

Really?

Quietly leave the place you were born

Although it hurts, there is no other way at this point in time

I will wait at the town edge for you

Once you've decided, you can come and look for me

Yes

Monk

I've waited a long time for you

I won't let you have her

Sanzo!

Your true face is exposed

Acting as a merchant and a monk. You're really busy

I won't be tricked by you!

Damn. Since it boils down to this, the only way is to kill everyone

Nyoi-bo

That fool

Be careful

Gojyo

Good reflexes, damn this fellow

Success!

Stop looking around!

I remember. When did you successfully defeat the mantis?

What a terrifying curse

Enough idle talk. Come and kill me if you can

I'll beat you to a pulp!

Attacked by someone. A weakling is a ultimately a weakling

Sanzo, die!

You should not do that

I will borrow this woman

Dokugakuji, well done!

Sanzo and the rest are catching up

I've prepared a flying dragon nearby. We must get on the flying dragon...

Caught it. The praying mantis caught the cicada. The sparrow is close behind

Your bodies will slowly lose consciousness

That short sword...

Use this short sword, and the pearl jade will belong to Gyokumen Koushu

I won't forgive it. I won't forgive you!

You bastard... What?

How is it?

Sorry. We've been poisoned by that fellow and can't move

There's no other way

He vanished

What?

I won't forgive you!

Hakkai, how is it?

Goku

Bastard, smoothly appearing at this time...

Say something!

You knew it would turn out like this in the end

This is her fate

When she asked to be released, heaven chose this path for her

and she became the protagonist in the story passed down

I've never heard of it!

The pearl jade will use your life in exchange for relieving your agony

It's like that

How can this be?

Listen, I will not play any games with you in the future

I hope so too

The suffering has never stopped

This fool failed completely

Sanzo. I have something to ask of you

What is it?

Can you pray for her?

Go away

Can we pay our respects too?

Finding a place she belongs to only in death. That's too tragic
