Original subtitles

Sister Begonia , you are back.

Does young master Lang come back with you?

No.

I don't believe it.

I can't do it without him

When will you leave here?

Yuexuan

Now only Yueming runs the workshop.

He doesn't understand anything.

But he is trying his best.

What about you?

Look, what you are doing every day.

Sleep, idle around.

Not enterprising.

Why do you become like this now?

You failed me.

Yuexuan

We can't go out, right?

This way.

Hurry.

Young master.

Young master, bad news.

The workshop is on fire

Fire?

Yueming

I am fine.

Thank you.

Begonia, are you okay?

I am fine. Yueming.

Lang Yuexuan.

Why do you bring danger to Begonia all the time?

You are mistaken, Yueming.

Not his fault.

He rescued me.

You still defend him?

I tell you

If something wrong happens, you want Begonia

to suffer what I have suffered?

Sorry.

My fault.

You don't have to say sorry to me.

You should say it to Begonia.

You almost killed her, you know?

Enough. -I.

Look at both of you, ridiculous.

You are brothers.

You are shouting here for a woman.

So mortifying.

I tell you.

From now on, I will tie you with me every minute.

Too dangerous

Don't move

Give it here.

Give it here.

It hurts

No.

Hurts.

You said no right?

No.

Can't you be gentle?

You really believe it doesn't hurt?

Yes.

I think this explosion is not accidental.

Maybe I mixed all the liquids on the table.

And I am unfamiliar with their characteristics.

So we had the explosion.

After I and my brother experienced the explosion in childhood,

he told them to put all the chemicals on the top of the cabinet.

We can't take them down when it's unnecessary

On your table, all are pure plant essential oils.

Are you sure you just mixed them?

Yes.

Only those pure plant essential oils.

Nothing else

As I know, pure plant stuff won't explode when mixed.

All right

You mean...

Someone changed pure plant essential oils and led to the explosion?

And I think it's Xinqiao.

Xinqiao

It's her, again.

We can't delay it again.

We don't know what might happen in the future.

I think the most important thing now is to develop fragrance stablizer.

Then I make Xinqiao reveal herself.

You are so amazing?

If you work hard in the workshop, this won't happen.

Show you something

What?

Look.

What is this?

You are here to study this?

Don't think I am an idler who cares about nothing.

Sometimes I do things without anyone knowing.

A high-profile man with low-key behavior.

You don't tell me,

how can I know?

All right

I apologize to you.

No.

Then what do you want?

I want you.

I want you to stay and do research with me, ok?

Mom.

You get up now?

Yes.

You have worked for a whole day.

Why don't you go to have a rest?

I know you just had your nap.

So I come here to see you.

Why are you so filial suddenly?

Suddenly?

I am very filial all the time, right?

Well, mom.

Look at my face.

Is there anything wrong?

What happened to your face?

Let me see.

It's alright.

No problem.

Good to know.

Mischievous.

Your face is cured.

Don't think about it anymore.

No. Mom.

Today workshop exploded.

Exploded?

Is Yuexuan all right?

Mom, calm down.

He is fine.

Good to know.

Do you remember you had the accident

in the lab when you were little?

I am so flurried at the very thought of it.

If I hadn't pushed Yuexuan away, he would be doomed.

I didn't tell you so you wouldn't scold him.

Now, my face is cured,

I don't care anymore.

I see.

No wonder he changed after that.

Yueming.

I want to ask you

Now you grow up, when you think of this, will you hate Yuexuan?

Yes, I did.

But then I came to realize.

Yuexuan is the adopted son.

But he is my beloved brother.

Nothing can change it.

You have hidden in the attic for so many years.

I think Yuexuan also feels bad.

You knew you went to Begonia garden yesterday.

You still forgot it.

Enough.

You should be happy that I didn't forget you yesterday

You come and go in a pair from yesterday.

Nonsense.

No, I am telling the truth.

Yesterday, young master Yuexuan rushed into lab to save you.

It's so heroic.

I just did what I should.

Where did you take Begonia last night?

Young master Yueming.

I took her to study swan goose's fragrance stablizer.

I knew you need it for emergence.

So I cleaned the lab.

You won't go anywhere.

You should just study here.

Thank you, brother

Well.

How's the fragrance stablizer going?

I am still trying some natural plants.

But I still find no suitable one till now

Yes.

Musk is used as stablizer.

Just because it can condense the fragrance.

I'm thinking

Maybe we should find some pure natural plants condensing fragrance.

Yes, indeed

But recently I searched a lot of books about plants, but in vain.

Oriental paperbush flower

Oriental paperbush flower?

Correct.

I remember oriental paperbush flower can condense the fragrance.

Maybe it can replace musk

We should have a try.

Go.

I didn't see you in the store when I walked by.

I am removed from my position now.

We still haven't found out the truth.

If I go back now, all will be in vain.

Sorry for you.

Some things, we can't make clear.

Just be conscientious.

People are tired because they desire more.

I didn't realize until now,

Being conscientious and clean is the best way to live.

At this age, we only wish to have a peaceful mind.

Be careful.

Yuexuan.

We made it.

Young master Lang.

Ok.

Girls.

We found the new fragrance stablizer.

All of you should take the credit.

I declare.

After work, we will celebrate it.

Have you put it away?

This time, we can't leak it again.

Don't worry.

It's in the safest place in the lab

No one can get it.

Great.

Go to celebration after work.

Xinqiao.

This is the end of the show right?

Xinqiao.

You are not afraid?

Yes.

I saw it coming.

Now we caught you on the spot.

You have nothing to explain, right?

Sorry

Do you know?

How much we have suffered?

Young master.

Please let me go this time.

I have no choice.

Let you go?

You think it's a play?

Young master Yuexuan.

I beg you.

Let me go

My lab is on fire

You did it right?

I

All my fault.

Xinqiao

Do you know you almost killed Begonia?

I beg you.

I beg you, let me go.

I really have no choice.

Boss Shi threatened me with my dad.

He has my dad's handle.

If I don't help him,

he will sendmy dad to jail

I have mom and sisters to support.

I really have no choice.

Xinqiao.

She has her own difficulties.

Can we let her go this time?

No.

If I let her go

she will harm others.

I promise

I won't do evil things again.

As long as you let me go this time, I will never do evil things again.

I beg you

I beg you

Let her go.

I agree.

Thank you, young master.

Thank you, Begonia.

Thank you, Begonia.

But.

You can't stay in the workshop.

Leave Kunyang within three days.

Yes.

Now we develop the perfect swan goose rouge.

I live up to our ancestors.

Yes

Next, we will have production and feedback.

Dad.

I have something to tell you.

Say it.

Shi Hanglu used swan goose rouge the name.

I think we should change it.

What a pity!

I can't continue to use the name left by the ancestors.

Don't think so, dad.

Okay

We have developed a new formula

It's even.

New name

Do you have any idea?

What do you think of begonia rouge?

Begonia

Correct

Begonia of Gu Begonia

She found the problem with fragrance stablizer.

Replacing musk with oriental paperbush flower is also her idea.

She makes the rouge perfect

So I think

the rouge's name should be Begonia.

Okay then.

You can tell them to change the name.

Thank you, dad.

Now I know you move out so Xinqiao won't

disturb your research.

I got you wrong.

All because I didn't tell you.

You don't know this.

Now we cleared the mole.

Begonia rouge will be mass produced immediately

So you will move back right?

So easy.

Thank you.

Master Shang

Welcome back, thank you

Thank you all.

Finally it's over.

Here.

I want to thank everyone.

Thank master Shang.

And I still need to thank another one.

Begonia.

Don't thank me, don't thank me.

I almost got you into big trouble.

Almost burned the lab.

I declare

From now on

Begonia will be promoted to team leader to replace Xinqiao.

Help master Shang to manage the workshop

Yueming

I can't.

Sister Begonia

Just say yes.

It's not an easy job to manage us women workers.

Right?

Yes.

Begonia...

Begonia

I need you.

Ok.

Great.

From tomorrow

we will produce new swan goose rouge.

I hope all of you can work together to win reputation for workshop,

even for family Lang.

Great.

Keep the petals dry and clean.

Don't forget.

Master Shang

Why don't you go home till now?

Don't push yourself so hard.

I am not tired

We have worked so hard on begonia rouge.

I really hope we can launch it sooner.

Don't worry.

Begonia rouge is very exquiste in quality and taste.

I believe it will be popular.

Great.

So Yuexuan's efforts are worthwhile.

Mom.

Xiahe.

Sister. -I am back.

You're back.

Begonia.

Mom

Why so much delicious food today?

Yes.

We are waiting for you

Sister.

This is your favorite.

Steamed squid.

So good to your sister.

Another one.

Who?

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday

Why are you here?

Celebrate your birthday.

Begonia

Today is your birthday

You have forgotten?

Birthday.

Come.

Blow the candles.

Begonia

Begonia

Begonia

Mom

It's ok

Maybe they are bickering.

Bickering?

Begonia...

Begonia.

What happened to you?

You changed so fast.

I just want to celebrate your birthday.

I don't want to celebrate birthday after I am 8 years old.

Why?

Begonia

We have been experienced a lot together.

Kinda friends in adversity.

You can tell me if you don't mind.

You should see me as...

See me...

You really want to know?

Yes.

Then come with me.

On the tablet, it's written Gu Shunqi.

My dad.

When I was eight years old

my dad was hired in Kunyang by an established family.

From that day on

my dad never came back.

For so many years, I have been looking for him.

But I didn't expect,

one day, I would see my dad here.

No wonder you don't celebrate your birthday after you are 8.

This is the reason.

I still remember the day my dad left,

he told me,

Begonia.

Wait for me.

I will cook longevity noodles for you.

and give you a birthday present.

Then I swear

If my dad doesn't come back.

I will never celebrate a birthday.

Sorry, Begonia.

Sorry to hear that.

Actually you should have told me earlier.

Maybe I can help you find your dad.

Actually I came to family Lang just to find my dad.

I am worried if I tell you, you will think I have ulterior motives.

Well.

One day I saw Master Lang worship here.

My dad?

He worshipped Rouge.

My dad's old friend?

Lang Sinian.

Boss Lang again?

Everyone.

After several rounds of voting

Now we have the winner.

The chairman of the chamber of commerce is Boss Lang.

Great.

Mr. Lang, please.

Please...

Now the chairman will deliver a speech.

Great.

Speech.

Thank you for your support.

I won't let you down.

I will help Kunyang develop well.

And set a good example.

I will send products made in Kunyang far with you.

And, the fund of the chamber of commerce

will go to the developing shops.

Help emerging businesses to seek common development

I have a proposal

Integrate Kunyang's entire rouge industry

into a large joint-stock company.

We will share the benefit and risk.

We can cooperate with each other.

Great.

Great.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Bye.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Bye.

Ok.

I really didn't expect...

Boss Shi, wait.

Long time no see.

Can we have a little drink?

You have got what you desired.

But I am so miserable.

You have the good mood to drink the wine.

But I drown my sorrows

No, thank you.

Boss Shi

Usually you are broad-minded.

Now why can't you drink the wine?

This is not your style.

Drinking depens on mood, people I drink with and why.

Even how.

If you don't mind, I will drink with you.

You can drink as you like.

We focus on drinking not wine.

Just say what you want.

Boss Shi is direct.

Thank you for saving my money.

They are gone.

We should have a little talk.

Brother Lang

You are not sincere.

I am just modest.

Really have no wine and dishes?

Just now, you have said.

You have no mood for drinking?

Boss Shi

Look at my dish

Do you like it?

What does this mean?

Gentlemen do what they should.

Today I want to help you.

Let's make a deal?

Deal?

I see.

You want to take the hairpin back Mrs. Lang left before death right?

Yes.

Brother Lang

You are so experienced in business.

Why can't you learn?

Mrs. Lang's hairpin, you don't know how much it costs?

It's quite a lot.

Think.

If we recall the past, you won't benefit more than this.

And you will get a lawsuit.

I think we should call it an end here.

I go all out.

If we are internecine, I will be the winner.

Why internecine?

You underestimate me.

Ok

We should wait and see.

Yuexuan is my son

If you dare to sow discord between us,

I will make you pay.

Yuexuan.

You want to see me? -Dad.

Have a seat.

I have something to ask you.

Dad.

Do you know someone called Rouge?

What do you know?

Tell me, do you know someone called Rouge?

Many years ago.

Rouge is a maid in our family.

Lang Lichun fell in love with her deeply

But because of the family,

They have different family backgrounds.

they were separated.

After Mrs. Lang got married with master, Rouge left.

Then...

What happened?

Where did she go?

Did she contact master Lang again?

You the bitch.

I will beat you to death.

He hit you again.

Shi Jizhou.

I need to tell Lang Sinian.

Don't go

Rouge.

Why can't you take care of yourself?

You can't let him bully you so?

That's all I know.

No one knows her whereabouts

I don't think so.

Master Shang

You are Rouge's good friend, right?

Before she died, you were with her right?

How do you know Rouge is dead?

I saw the tablet master Lang made for her in the temple.

Begonia.

We all have the past unbearable to recall.

Why do you mention it now?

I hope you don't mention her again.

This is the story of Rouge.

And then?

After I came back from business trip,

I knew she left family Lang.

After she left family Lang, where did she go?

And one more thing, dad.

Do you know someone called Gu Shuqi?

Is there any connection between them?

I never see Rouge again everafter.

Years later, someone told me Rouge died.

So I placed a tablet in the temple.

I go there occasionally.

That's it

As for Gu Shunqi,

I don't know him.

Let alone the connection.

Impossible, dad.

I have seen their tablets.

The font, material and styles are the same.

They are erected at the same time.

And they died on the same day.

It's not a coincidence right?

Yes.

Only this explanation.

No other answers.

Yuexuan

I have told you all.

I can't tell you what I don't know.

That's it.

No, dad.

I am not forcing you

I just want to know...

Yuexuan

I am busy in the chamber of commerce today

I am very tired

Ok.

Good night.

Yuexuan

Mom

You are back.

Went to see your dad?

Have a little talk.

It's late.

Why don't you sleep?

Mom made a cloak.

The study is damp at night

Dad may get a cold

You are so considerate, mom.

I should have done this earlier.

Miao Lan

I changed my mind.

You send it to master.

I want to walk with Yuexuan.

Mom.

I think you should send it yourself.

Forget it.

Miao Lan, you should go.

I feel so lonely when you move out.

Sorry, mom.

You know I miss you, why don't you come back earlier?

You still hate mom?

No.

Sometimes I am a total loser.

Maybe the most correct thing I did was adopting you.

Young master

Young master

Workshop needs a batch of raw materials

It's going to arrive at the dock soon.

But no dock available

You should go check it out.

Dock warehouse?

What happened?

Okay, I get it.

I am coming.

You should help me.

otherwise we have to stop working in our workshop.

Yes.

I am in a pickle.

The dock is busy now.

We really have no space available for you.

Then what should we do?

We have to wait.

Young master Yueming.

What happened?

You are in trouble?

Young master Yueming

Wait.

Maybe.

I can help you.

Housekeeper.

Master

Leave a spot for him

We should help him.

Ok, master.

Be careful.

You don't have to think too much

Anyway, my spot is vacant.

It's just a little help.

Your dad helped me.

This is the return.

As for whether you accept it or not, you can think about it.

Be careful.

Young master, what should we do?

So strange

Why does he help us for no good reason?
