Rongrong

Please hear me out.

Stop calling me.

I don't want you to go either.

But he is my superior after all.

The local despot in Kunyang.

No one can fight against him.

My baby.

Please go to see him with me.

If we offend him, we will suffer the loss.

All right.

I will go.

But you need to protect me.

Definitely.

You are my sweetheart.

Mind your language when you see the commander in chief.

Don't be so wilful.

I know.

Rongrong

You are such a considerate girl.

What are you looking at?

So serious

This is called Ice Crystal Kylin.

I have been looking for this flower

It is very important to me.

Did you find it?

Yesterday

I saw it in the Duantou rock of mountain Yangming.

But...

No.

I will go again.

I must find it.

Go to Duantou rock?

No, it's too dangerous.

If you fall from Duantou rock, you will die.

I won't.

My dad will protect me.

Begonia

Yuexuan

Right on time.

You should go to see Begonia.

What happened to Begonia?

She went to Duantou rock alone.

She wants to find this flower.

Miss Long

Why are you here?

Miss Long

I read the newspaper.

It's said you and young master Yuexuan fall in love.

So great.

I have said you would be such a good match.

Thank you

Where is Yuexuan?

He is not here.

What about Begonia?

Coincidentally, Begonia is not here either.

And...

And what?

And they go out together.

We have many women workers in the workshop.

You need to be careful.

Miss Long

Congratulations.

You should invite me to the wedding ceremony.

Miss Long.

Where is your young master Yuexuan?

He hasn't come back yet.

Hasn't come back?

I want to leave a message.

I need to talk to him.

Ok

Go.

Be careful.

Why are you here too?

This is my another home.

I was telling myself.

I won't nag you after you wake up.

But I really want to teach you the silly girl a lesson.

You even dare to go to Duantou rock.

You want to die?

Why do you go there?

Well.

Where is my plant?

Don't move.

This one?

Why do you need this?

I want to cure Yueming's face with this.

Cure face?

I don't know why you want to see me today, commander in chief.

I don't like seeing someone for some particular reason.

After the first time we met, I thought it should be the destiny.

I have a very strong sense of deja vu.

I haven't seen you for days, now I am so missing you.

The second time we meet, how can you tell me you miss me?

You must be joking.

I am serious.

Look.

Adjutant Hu goes through fire and water with me for so many years.

His cousin is my cousin.

This is the little gift.

Commander in chief.

Cousin

I can't accept this.

Yes, commander in chief.

It's so valuable, you just meet for the first time.

Accept it.

You should take it.

Since he says so,

Rongrong, you should accept it.

That's the spirit.

The good swords are for heroes.

Rouge and powder is for beautiful ladies.

Thank you, commander in chief.

Look at you, look at you.

Don't call me commander in chief.

It will estrange us.

Brother Long.

No...

You should call me Deshui.

I will call you brother Deshui.

Brother Deshui.

Ok.

Miss Yi

You come from a literary family.

You are so well educated and reasonable.

The one who could marry you is so lucky.

Well.

Adjutant Hu.

I don't know if Miss Yi is married to someone else.

Not yet.

So great.

Now I have a suitable man for you.

You can live a carefree life.

He is very veracious and dutiful.

So Miss Yi, can you consider it?

Thank you for your care.

But my dad will make decision for my marriage.

It's easy.

I will go to see him, your dad.

I don't know who is the man you are talking about?

It is me.

What do you think of it?

The soil here should be more suitable for it.

I remember there is a herb in the mountains.

It's called Yuanzhi.

When it comes out of the mountain, it's called little grass.

This Ice Crystal Kylin used to be planted in the deep mountain.

Now it's planted in this garden.

I am afraid it won't bloom again.

Nonsense.

You even can find the legendary herbs.

You are so lucky.

I believe

As long as we take good care of it,

it will bloom.

But each thing has its own position.

Just like this garden

You give it a name,

Begonia Garden.

But what can we change?

Yes.

Maybe I want to leave a deep mark for my mistake.

Maybe it's a consolation for myself.

A kind of deterrence.

Maybe it is a hope.

But at least, I can come here and plant some grass and plants as I want.

Since last time, I haven't seen him for a long time.

You mean young master Yuexuan?

Why is he hiding from me?

Miss, I think,

It's useless for you to think about it.

Since you can't find young master Yuexuan,

you should go to see miss Begonia.

You should ask her.

Yes.

I can see Begonia.

Since last time,I haven't seen Begonia for a long time.

But do you think,

she feels I am forcing her?

Am I doing something wrong?

In love, there is no distinct line for right and wrong.

We only know who sacrifices more or whose love is deeper.

What?

Still tell me to wait.

You are still so hesitant till now.

Rongrong

No.

But I have something to deal with.

Enough.

You don't love me.

You don't want to grow old with me.

Rongrong.

Just because I care about you, I take a long view.

You want to escape.

Easier said than done.

You can't imagine how it will be to live a wandering and camped life.

If I can't give my love a stable life,

how ashamed I will be.

But Long Deshui is going to make a proposal.

What should we do?

Give me some time.

I have a way out.

But...

I need some calculation.

Rongrong

Give you some time, more time.

If Long Deshui comes to make the proposal, it will be so late.

No.

I promise,I won't let this happen.

Give me more time.

I

I am home.

Ok

You should go back.

Wear it

It's cold.

No need.

Miss Long.

Sister Miao Lan

Miss Long

Sister Miao Lan

What a coincidence.

I can meet you on the street.

Congratulations, Miss Long.

Congratulations?

People say Yuexuan promised to be your boyfriend.

Well, sister Miao Lan.

I have something to ask you.

Say it.

Yuexuan is at home recently?

Seldom.

Recently Begonia goes back to the workshop.

Yuexuan seldom comes home.

Our family is quite cheerless.

They come and go together all the time?

They often come and go together.

Last night they came back together.

Why?

You are not with them?

Sister Miao Lan.

You think Yuexuan and Begonia

Will they...

Will they...

You mean...

Their relationship is not simple?

To be frank,

I am a little skeptical.

Begonia is Yuexuan's sister in law.

If there is something wrong, family Lang will be such a laughing stock.

And

People all know Yuexuan promised to be your boyfriend.

If people know this, you will be the laughing stock too.

You can't be careful enough.

It won't.

Begonia is my best friend.

She can't do this to me.

We can't judge people by appearance, I just want to remind you.

You won't know until you go to find out the truth.

Truth?

Where will Begonia go?

You are here.

Ice Crystal Kylin is really so amazing?

No idea.

It is a legend after all.

Well.

Here is the frankincense and Prunella vulgaris

And other ingredients.

Put them in the boiling water and dry it.

And ground it into powder.

Ok

When can it bloom?

Gu Begonia

Mohua

What are you doing?

Mohua, you.

You rejected me that day just because of her right?

Keep a mistress in a love nest.

Why are you hiding from me recently?

Because you are too guilty to see me.

Gu Begonia

You are his sister in law.

Why do you seduce him?

Why do you still take my happiness?

Now I know why you still go back to family Lang.

Because you still have Yuexuan in your heart.

Not the truth, Mohua.

Shut up.

You have been the intruder between me and Yuexuan.

You left and shouldn't have come back.

If you hadn't come back, Yuexuan would have forgotten you.

Shut up.

Are you crazy?

What qualifications do you have to say these?

Who do you think you are?

Begonia is my brother's wife now.

Don't mention those anymore.

Have you thought about it?

I never say I love you.

It's all your wishful thinking.

I want to tell you

Love, can't be forced.

It's not the compassion either.

You think love is your toy?

Stop it, I don't want to hear.

Mohua.

Don't touch me, stay away from me.

Liars.

You are both liars.

I hate you

Don't take what Mohua said personally.

I won't mind it.

My heart is tired.

I know.

You are wronged because of me.

Meeting you is destined to be my hardship.

Forget it.

Never mind.

What I care now is when Ice Crystal Kylin will bloom.

When can I cure Yueming's face?

When can I leave family Lang?

When can I draw a clear distinction with you?

No.

Don't think like this, Begonia

Then what should I think about?

You think I have to accept all unhappy things with smile?

I am a human being, not a god.

I have feelings and I will feel painful too.

Have you considered my feelings?

You know what I have suffered?

No one will understand me.

Because no one will care about me.

Nonsense.

I care.

No.

You deceive me.

And hurt me.

Begonia.

Do you know?

I have been confessing my stupid decision.

I even dream...

Dream one day you will forgive me.

I still remember the first time I met you.

You are so unfettered.

So carefree.

It's me.

I make a happy Begonia become like this.

Sorry.

Sorry.

Don't tell me sorry.

Even if you say sorry a thousand times,

10,000 times,

is there any difference?

You should go.

Leave me alone.

It is said when the coldest thing falls on it,

it will bloom in an instant.

So in this world,

the coldest thing is the most bitter tears.

Commander in chief.

Why are you absent-minded?

You didn't have a good rest yesterday?

No.

Xiaohu

You follow me ups and downs and

go through fire and water for many years right?

I value my promise.

I will send you to the front line as an official.

You can have some soldiers.

I will give you some land.

You can build a house and have a wife.

I won't shortchange you.

Commander in chief.

Are you serious?

Of course.

I never break my promise.

You should work hard.

If I even shortchange you, how can I convince others?

How can my soldiers go through fire and water with me?

Right?

Yes

Commander in chief.

Actually I love a woman.

Who is she?

Tell me.

She is Yi.

Master.

I have prepared the list of bride price for family Yi.

Look.

I need to spend so much money for marrying a concubine.

Ok, that's it.

Commander in chief.

Now I will make a proposal to your cousin.

Hear me out.

Commander in chief.

Commander in chief.

Hear me out.

Don't worry.

After I get married, I will arrange your wedding ceremony.

Hear me out.

Hear me out. -It's ok.

Commander in chief...

Here?

Miss Yi

Miss Yi

I am here to make a proposal.

Come.

Take things here.

This...

Dad-in-law

I'm here to make a proposal.

Make a proposal?

Tea...

Mr. Yi.

You are an egghead, so admiring.

You are so talented in poetry, painting and musical instrument.

Not like me.

I am such a vulgar boor.

Then we met the troubled times.

And I join the army.

I become the commande in chief for my brothers' support.

Commander in chief, actually I am the head of the bandits.

I am an educated man.

How can I be compared with you?

I have a wish.

I want to marry an educated lady from a scholarly family like miss Yi.

I hope my family could be a well-educated family.

It's such an honor.

As I know you have 4 concubines.

It's...

It's all the showy thing.

Showy thing.

I haven't touched them.

I like none of them.

And.

I am a commander in chief with so many soldiers.

If I have no concubines, I will be a laughing stock.

I think our family will be famous for literary grace and warlike exploits.

Your family have pens.

My family have the swords.

It will be so great.

Commander in chief Long.

Why are you here?

Rongrong, you are back

Dad.

What's going on?

Here.

This is the bride price.

Bride price?

I have a nice talk with your dad.

As long as we get married, we will be such a perfect match.

Commander in chief Long, no.

Enough.

That's a deal.

With miss Yi's looks and knowledge,

I vow with my life, she will be the No. 1 among the concubines.

My family property will be hers as she wants.

Commander in chief. -That's a deal.

I vow with my life.

All my wealth, cars and houses will be yours as you like.

The entire Kunyang will yours.

You can have whatever you want.

Rongrong

Why are you here?

Are you ok? Rongrong.

I'm late.

Are you ok?

You don't care about me.

It's all too sudden.

I have no time to inform you in advance.

Long Deshui, this crazy dog.

He makes the proposal after he sees you for once.

You said you would tell him the truth today.

Did you tell him?

I know he is brazen-faced, but he won't take me by force right?

I tried to tell him the truth.

But it's...

But it's beyond my control.

Rongrong

Baby.

Give me more time, ok?

You sell me like this.

How can I sell you?

Or elope with me.

Let's go south.

We should go to Guangdong.

I can find a new job.

You can continue to be a teacher.

We can live a carefree life.

Easy for you to say.

Now outside is so chaotic.

It's not easy to find a job.

Once we lose the financial support, we will live a drugery life.

I have no faith without material guarantee.

I know.

But I promise I won't let it happen.

And.

My dad and mom are so old.

If I go, what will they do?

Long Deshui will find them troubles.

Then we can take them with me.

I can take care of them.

We should calm down.

I have thought a lot these days.

You can continue to follow Long Deshui without me.

You become the adjutant after all the troubles.

If you go now, it will be hard for you to rise.

I am thinking what's the meaning of it if we continue be like this.

You have changed your mind?

I can sacrifice our love if I protect the happiness of our families.

Are you sure to give up?

Now I come to realize, how can I repay my brother with your youth?

Compassion and sympathy are not love.

I hurt your feelings,

and my brother.

I see the pain and bearance.

I feel so bad.

I will help you with these recipes.

I will help you do everything you want.

I made this according to the book.

Most of the cream is Ice Crystal Kylin.

I add musk, frankincense, vaseline and momwort

to remove the scar.

Begonia

You are so brilliant.

You make the cream so soon.

Brother is so lucky to marry you.

I don't know the cream's effect.

I did the facial care for Yueming

because he had the scar for so many years.

I think the effect will be remarkable with the cream.

Has anyone tried the medicine?

Not yet.

How can you do the experiment on his face?

You should try it on someone's face.

Mom.

I believe Begonia.

We should try it.

Madam.

All of the materials are gentle and non-irritating.

You can rest assured.

This time it can't go awry.
