[Episode 2]

How dare you block my way?

You deserve this!

Prince.

How's the martial arts tournament going?

A few Han people from the Central Plains, who belong within the Great Wall

are coming over with

our warriors, who belong beyond the Great Wall.

Alright.

No matter if they belong within or beyond the Great Wall...

Regardless of their ethnic...

The champion isn't important.

What's important is that they will work for me

and contribute to the Jurchens!

Let's go!

Let's go and have a look!

Yes.

Heroes! Congratulations on passing this round!

As promised,

those who survived this round will be granted with golds!

Thank you, Prince.

-Thank you, Prince. -Thank you, Prince.

Wait a minute.

Everyone!

Once you receive the prize,

You're the Golden Imperial Warrior of the Third Banner of Jianzhou!

Prince.

We're here for a tournament.

Not to surrender.

Listen!

Solon, if you're not surrendering to me,

I'm afraid that this prize...

You can't take it, but you'll have no chance to spend it.

What do you mean?

There are less than a hundred warriors in Solon Tribe.

Killing you is a piece of cake.

You shall surrender to me today.

You will be protected then.

Stop your nonsense!

Brother Solon represented our tribe in this tournament

because of this prize!

You're asking us to surrender? Don't you even think about it!

If a wolf can't be my dog,

it will cause a trouble next time.

Big Brother!

Big Brother!

Big Brother!

You can't go!

Big Brother!

Big Brother!

Big Brother!

Let him go!

-You can't go! -Big Brother!

Big Brother!

No!

Big Brother!

Big Brother!

No!

Listen!

If you surrender today,

I will offer you these golds.

If you oppose,

you'll end up like him!

Jin Ding He! Return me my brother's life!

Stop it!

Solon.

Your brother was unlucky.

You can't blame someone else.

I'll grant you a hundred Third Banner Soldiers to be your brothers.

What do you think?

Who wants those idiots?

To be honest.

You must surrender today

even if you're opposing!

If you want me to work for you,

you must gift me 300 Third Banner Soldiers

and two boxes of golds.

Cows and goats...

A thousand!

A thousand of them!

The quick-witted people will be the heroes!

Double the prize!

Everyone, do you have anything else to say?

We will work hard for you, Prince.

We will work hard for you, Prince.

Hutuangege.

You're a heroine!

Seems like

you're treating me as your enemy.

Ready!

Go!

Solon!

What are you waiting for?

Fight them!

Go!

Wait a minute!

Hero.

May I know your name?

I am Geng Er.

Geng Er?

Brother Geng Er.

I, Nurhaci, love talented people.

If you surrender to me today,

I'll treat you as the guest of honour.

I joined the tournament

just for the prize.

You will eventually spend all these money.

If you stay by my side

and are loyal to me,

I will guarantee your wealth for the rest of your life.

I came from the Ming dynasty.

I shall return to my home.

Do you know?

The Ming dynasty is coming to an end.

What can you do even if you go within the Great Wall?

You'll eventually belong to us, Jurchens.

Everyone knows your ambition.

Since we are going to fight one day,

even if I'm dying today,

I'll not listen to you!

How dare you?

Isn't it easy to die?

Even if I die,

someone will avenge me!

Great.

I'll wait for it then.

Too bad.

What a silly man.

Master!

Jingshi, run!

Master!

Master!

Wuji Palm?

Let's go!

Prince.

That Taoist priest is the best master in Wudang Sect,

Wuji.

What about

Geng Er?

He is the most outstanding master

of the younger generation in Wudang Sect.

His name is Geng Jingshi.

He's the only disciple

in the Wudang Sect who has been trained by

the two great elders, Wuji and Wuxiang.

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

We've let Geng Jingshi and Wuji go today.

We might be in trouble.

Wuji is one of the Four Great Elders of Wudang Sect.

I wanted to kill him unexpectedly,

with Wudang Sect's Wuji Palm today.

I didn't expect that this old Taoist is so well-trained in martial arts.

I was injured instead.

After the fight today,

he must be suspecting my identity.

We have to kill them as soon as possible.

Not only Wuji.

No one in Wudang Sect shall live.

Don't worry, Chief.

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

Although Geng Er

is silly,

he's arrogant.

He didn't surrender to me.

I admire him.

I like this young man very much.

We must think of a way

to make him surrender as soon as possible.

We will spread rumors within and beyond the Great Wall

to announce that he had surrendered

and became a Golden Imperial Guard.

People on the Mount Wudang

will find out about it soon.

They will bully

or even kill Geng Jingshi.

Secondly,

we will kill Wudang Sect's spies at the region to the east of the Liao River

and make him takes the blame.

He will feel betrayed and be desperate.

We settle the matters of the martial art world at the martial art world.

You're the chief of Lingxue Hall.

You can

make decisions on this matter.

Come. Slowly.

Be careful.

Here, Master. Have a seat.

Master, are you okay?

I'm fine.

I'll stay here

to meditate and treat myself.

Go and pack our stuff.

And bring Yuyan along with us.

We need to depart quickly.

Back to Wudang Sect.

But, Master...

Hurry up!

Alright.

Hurry up!

I'll be right back.

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

Brother Geng.

Brother Geng.

Brother Guo Pu.

Nurhaci is going to hurt you and Taoist Wuji.

You shouldn't stay here.

I'll pack my things

and leave soon.

One more thing.

I am returning to the capital.

You may look for me with this letter.

Where is Taoist Wuji?

He's treating himself in an inn.

Hurry and fetch Sister Yuyan.

-See you next time. -See you next time.

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

Giddy-up!

You again?

Seven Stars Swordsmanship?

Seven Stars Swordsmanship?

Is he the Seven Stars Swordsman?

Yuyan!

Yuyan!

Yuyan!

Yuyan!

I thought I can't see you ever again.

It's fine now.

It's fine now.

Why are you...

Why are you covered in blood?

Are you injured.

I'm fine.

Who allowed you to join the tournament?

What can I do if something happens to you?

What about the child in my womb?

Are you going to abandon me?

Why would I abandon you?

I didn't want you to have a hard time.

So I thought,

"If I win the tournament and get the prize,

we will have a better life with our child."

What if you die?

What about me? Can I still live?

I'm sorry.

I've made you worry.

I'll explain it to you slowly.

We need to leave quickly.

It's very dangerous here.

What about the master?

The master is waiting for us at an inn.

Let's pack!

Hurry up!

Let's not take this.

We will have everything

at home.

Let's go!

Let's go!

Let's drink!

Come! Let's drink!

Come! Pour me the wine!

Great!

Be careful.

Come.

Come. Have a seat here.

Take a rest.

I'll bring the master here.

Be careful.

Master, what happened?

Jingshi.

We need to leave soon.

The man in black came again just now.

I was thinking about this.

The man stays at a tent under Nurhaci,

but he uses Wudang Sect's Wuji Palm.

Wuji Palm?

Wuji Palm is a secret skill of Wudang Sect.

Why is he using it?

Can it be...

There's a spy in Wudang Sect?

Spy?

Let's move, Master.

We need to leave immediately.

Yuyan!

Elder Wuji.

We've met again!

This is the prize

from the prince.

He hopes that you can take them.

Else...

Let my wife and my child go!

Even if a righteous man has died, his name will remain.

I only feel bad

for the child in Yuyan's womb.

Master.

If Jingshi and I die with you today,

we can finally explain ourselves to my father.

You asked for it!

I'll fulfill your dream then!

How dare you?

Hutuan! How dare you betray me?

Go!

Jingshi, run!

Master!

Thank you.

Run!

Chase after them!

Yes!

Hurry up!

Get onto the horse and chase after them!

Yes!

-Go! Hurry up! -Yes!

Leave first! I'll take care of them.

Your sword!

Be careful!

I'll gift this to you!

Thank you, heroine!

See you next time!

See you next time!

Yuyan.

Is there any soldier out there?

No. Don't worry.

It's cold, right?

Where's the master?

The master went to look for some food.

Bear with it some more.

I'll light up the fire now.

Little Elf.

You shall return to Wudang Sect first to pass on my message.

We will be back

in a few days.

Why isn't the master back yet?

I guess he will be back soon.

Jingshi.

It's been a long time

since I hear you blow a flute.

Yuyan.

Why didn't my father

allow me to marry you back then?

Why are you mentioning the past again?

After all, Big Brother is the master's first disciple.

This is a rule set by the older generation.

But I like you.

Idiot.

Aren't we together now?

I hate those rules.

Those ethics.

They make us suffer so much.

You'll not suffer once you go home.

Master.

I'm back.

Master, you're back?

What a snowy day.

It wasn't easy to hunt.

Come.

Slowly.

Be careful.

Here you go. Grill this rabbit.

Alright.

Don't starve the child in the womb.

You've been through hardship, right?

It's better to follow me home, right?

Master.

It's not that I'm not going back.

But throughout the past year,

I had nothing.

I'm ashamed to see the masters.

I wanted to win some prize

from the tournament.

Who knew that they kill us?

I'm more embarrassed now.

Those at home are your relatives and brothers.

Who would complain about you?

I'm afraid that my father will be more worried

if we go home.

If you go home,

your father will definitely be happy.

I'm ashamed to meet the master.

Even if you're not worried about yourselves,

you should consider the child.

It will be great if he's a boy!

I'll teach him martial arts personally!

Master, what if she's a girl?

What to do?

Girl?

That's even better.

I'll bring her to Bu Hui.

Among the female disciples on Mount Wudang,

Bu Hui is the best at martial arts.

Master, why are you like my father?

You only think about martial arts.

People at our age...

Firstly, we hope that our next generation will suffer less.

Secondly, we hope to see our family being reunited.

Once you're back home,

regardless how serious is the matter,

I will help you.

Sorry for making you worry.

I've sent

Huo Bo to the capital this time.

Leave the matter of the Ming dynasty to him.

I'll leave the martial art world of the Central Plains to you.

Yes.

Jin Ding He.

Seems like Wuji and Geng Er

is running towards the Great Wall.

You must capture them!

Yes.

Once they pass the Great Wall,

you shall take care of them.

Yes.

[Notice]

Follower?

Nurhaci's follower?

Yes.

He's a betrayer!

Geng Jingshi is a disciple of Wudang Sect.

Why is he the Golden Imperial Warrior of Jurchens now?

If this is the case,

he betrayed Wudang Sect?

He's a disciple of Wudang Sect.

How can work for Nurhaci?

I think the Ming dynasty is coming to an end.

We need to get a carriage.

So it's easier to travel.

Alright.

Geng Jingshi!

The gate to the Ming dynasty is right in front.

I'll give you the last chance.

Take the prize and follow me,

or end everything here?

Stop your nonsense!

Go!

Are you okay? Yuyan.

Master, be careful!

Jingshi, run!

Master!

Run!

Let's go!

Get up! Everyone, get up!

Chase after them!

Chase after them!

The Golden Men are passing the gate!

The Golden Men are passing the gate!

Here!

The Golden Men are passing the gate!

Pass the gate first.

-Master, you... -Hurry up!

Chase after them!

Everyone! Get ready!

What about the master?

I'll bring you into the town first.

I'll save the master later.

Go!

Go! Hurry up!

Go!

Hurry up! Go in! Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Hurry up! Move faster!

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

I'll save master first. Wait for me.

Be careful!

Hurry up!

Hurry up!

Master!

Master!

Run! Hurry up!

Master!

Master!

Master!

There was a heavy snow on the mountain,

but there's nothing here.

There's a phrase in Buddhism,

"If the clouds rise from the Southern Mountain, there will be a rain on the Northern Mountain."

As a Taoist,

don't be constrained by the things and matters in this world.

Leader, Master, you're here.

Did Qi Wu get better?

The lord has gotten better.

Here please.
