We're conducting a shoreline search.

The cutter is searching a 2 by 10 mile
rectangle, parallel to the coastline.

Syd and Brian are on the Rambo boat.
They're Strike Team one.

I'm with Kekoa, we're Strike Team Two.

Jason and Jessie are Strike Team Three.

Okay, got it.

We know it. I'm gonna say it again.

Five kayakers are missing,

none with experience
along this coast nor in these waters.

Now, there are three options.
One, they're dead.

You can forget that right now.
They're alive.

Two, they're in the water.
Coast Guard's got that covered.

If they're in the water,
Coast Guard will find them.

And three, and most likely,

they've been swept into one
of the caves along the base of the cliffs.

That's where we're gonna look.

We're going to '�leap frog' along Na Pali
until we search every single one of them.

This camera has a built in
infrared sensor.

It can literally see into the dark.

It's a new technology, but we won't know
what we have '�till we play it back.

A word of caution.

These caves are dangerous
and unforgiving.

The surges are unpredictable.

While you're looking for your victims,
you can get hammered.

Head room changes.

One minute you're in a room with a 12 foot
ceiling, the next minute you're squashed.

Reefs all along the bottom.

Some have false bottoms
that lead to other chambers, lava tubes.

If I didn't think that these kids
were in one of these caves,

I would never send you in.

If there was time, I'd check them
all myself, but there is no time.

Be quick, but be careful.

Save the victims, don't become one.

We've spotted a yellow kayak
ashore on the rocks,

one thousand yards south of your
position, no sign of the kayakers.

With these currents that almost guarantees
that they're in one of these caves.
