And The Winner Is Love

Episode 48

Xue Lie,

isn’t it enough that you killed Muyuan?

Will you stigmatize him?

Chong Xuezhi.

Do you know

how severe the crime

of slandering prince is?.

Lord Lu,

we stole Black Fires from your mill.

You asked your men to stop my carriage.

Did they

come back?

But don’t worry.

They are still alive.

They were sent to Dongdu.

Though you did a lot of favor to them,

once they were put in prison,

they spoke

everything out.

My men?

I don’t know what you mean.

Shangguan Tou,

don’t slander me.

I don’t have those men.

I slander you?

Besides those men,

I have other evidence.

This is the formula of Black Fires

that Yuwen Muyuan wrote for you.

Comparing the formula with your Black Fires,

you’ll know whether I’m slandering you.

Why are you laughing?

You are so naive.

Who am I?

I am the emperor’s son,

the Crown Prince’s brother.

Does it matter

that I manage the martial arts world

for my father and brother?

Does it matter

that I made

Black Fires?

Is it enough?

Your Highness.

Move back!

Will you assassinate me?

Seize him!

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

They want to kill me.

They are rebelling!

Seize them.

Seize them!

Lie.

That’s enough.

I have known

everything that you did.

Go to Dongdu with me.

Wait for our father’s punishment.

Could you?

No. I don’t go.

I don’t go.

When will you stop?

Haven't you realized your mistake?

Brother,

you think I’m wrong?

I’m wrong?

I’m not!

They are wrong!

They are wrong!

Lie.

What nonsense are you talking about?

I’m not talking nonsense.

I’m not.

I’m not!

They are wrong.

You are.

You are.

You are!

And you!

You pushed me to do this.

When did I push you?

-Your Highness! -Your Highness!

Move back!

Lie.

Calm down.

Take down your knife.

Go back to Dongdu with me.

I don’t.

Our father will listen to your explanation.

I don’t.

I don’t go back!

Move back!

He won’t hurt the Crown Prince.

Tomb of Wife of Lord Lu, Shangguan Zheng

Zheng.

Zheng.

I am here.

Lie.

Don’t be sad.

Come.

Silence!

Zheng.

Zheng.

Zheng

is sleeping with our baby.

Don’t bother her.

Zheng.

Zheng.

What’s the name...

What’s the name

of our baby?

Zheng.

Brother.

Brother.

Think of a name

for our baby.

Please.

I don’t know.

I don’t know.

Lie.

Be sober.

Listen.

I believe my nephew

doesn’t want to see

his father is

like this.

Listen to me.

Go back to Dongdu

with me.

Go back to Dongdu?

Why?

A country has its law,

and a family has its rule.

You are my brother,

but you are also a prince.

You will be punished based on the law.

How...

How...

How will father punish me?

Lie,

don’t worry.

I will

try my best to beg for leniency from father.

Trust me.

Lie.

Lie.

Lie.

I am with you.

I am with you.

Brother.

Brother.

Lie.

I’m so tired.

Lie.

Spited Sword

As a prince,

Xue Lie

slaughtered many

martial artists.

He must be punished.

As his brother,

I didn’t teach

him well.

I should also be blamed.

Here,

I sincerely

apologize to you.

Merciful Buddha.

Everybody.

I also

need to clarify one thing.

Xia Qingmei

killed himself because he lost his mind.

It has nothing to do with Yuwen Muyuan.

Yuwen Muyuan has never betrayed

the martial arts world or Hall of Flames.

He

pretended to submit to enemies.

But in fact,

he did so to expose Xue Lie’s plot.

Also,

he

killed

Fong Mo, Xue Lie’s jackal.

When Xia Qingmei was slaughtering the martial artists,

Muyuan

sent the message to Master Shangguan secretly.

He bore all the misunderstandings,

but...

But he didn’t get a good ending.

So,

I sincerely

apologize to Hall of Flames.

Your Highness, thanks for

clarifying for Muyuan.

His Highness’s order.

From today,

the Sects Alliance is dismissed.

In the future,

no one is allowed to

interfere sects with any reason.

Hope all leaders recover soon

and regain the spirit of your sects.

Develop your martial arts and characters,

making our Chinese martial arts greater

and passing it to generations and generations.

That’s all.

Yes, Your Highness.

Everybody,

no need to bow.

Master Shangguan.

Miss Chong.

Can I talk with you at somewhere else?

These days,

we’ve searched Lie’s mansion.

We found this by chance.

Nine Moves of Lotus God

Nine Moves of Lotus God?

Yes.

I suspected

that Lie got it from Xia Qingmei.

It belongs to Hall of Flames.

I should return it to the owner.

Your Highness, you said

that it belongs to Hall of Flames.

Can I do

whatever I want with it?

Of course.

Fine.

Miss Chong.

What do you mean?

Nine Moves

brought many wars to this world.

From now on,

Nine Moves will disappear.

No one will be hurt by it.

I’m surprised.

Miss Chong

is so brave and generous.

You are really a heroin.

Master Shangguan,

you are so lucky.

Yes,

for my life,

meeting Xuezhi

is my luckiest thing.

Your Highness,

can I ask for one thing?

Please allow me to rebuild Hall of Flames.

Miss Chong.

Stand up.

Please stand up.

Your Highness.

I beg you to rebuild Hall of Flames, too.

Hall of Flames was

sealed up wrongly.

Now everything is clear,

so I beg you

to allow Hall of Flames

to be revitalized

to protect our country.

It can make efforts

to enhance our military.

You

just avoided a disaster of martial arts world.

You also helped me

to arrest Lie.

To be honest,

I really appreciate your help.

Also,

your every word is sincere.

You think for our country and our people.

It’s the state’s luck.

But rebuilding Hall of Flames

is a big thing.

I need to escort Lie to Dongdu first.

I’ll talk about the details after seeing my father.

I don’t know father’s idea now,

but

I swear

I

will try my best.

Thanks, Your Highness.

No worries.

Have a seat.

Sit.

Look at you.

I took you here

just to

talk with you like friends.

Formality is unnecessary.

But you?

Kneel and appreciate me?

Master Shangguan.

The case of Imperial Advisor

was investigated again.

If you want to,

go home to have a look.

All people will die.

Family

will also part.

Everything in the world

has their destiny.

Don’t regret.

Don’t dwell on the past.

Finish what you are doing.

Let go of all the feuds

and have a good life.

To win the game,

you must find your chess.

Chess?

What’s my chess?

I am

your chess.

Father, thanks for

saving Xuezhi.

I’m not satisfied

with your appreciation.

I hope you can take her back

and let her thank me in person.

Father.

I am back to see you

with my loved one.

Xuezhi.

Her name is Chong Xuezhi.

She’s the only one who I love

for my life.

Imperial Advisor.

Don’t worry.

I will stay with Tou

for my life.

I’ll take care of him.

In the future,

Hall of Flames is his home.

What’s the matter?

Will you go back to Hall of Flames?

So where else

can I go?

Tou.

Xuezhi.

Do you remember what you said?

You said

you would go to Moon Valley with me

and stay with Mr. Lin

to live a carefree life.

We will live in seclusion.

Yes, I remember.

But...

But you can’t leave Hall of Flames.

My father fought for Hall of Flames for his life.

As the leader,

I can’t just leave it.

Mr. Lin told me

that he’s living in seclusion

because of his cowardice.

It’s hard for him to put down the obsession.

I didn’t understand

until

my family came down in the world.

My father died wrongly,

and my sister died with hate.

Now, I’ve realized that

everything you have

may disappear

suddenly.

Xuezhi,

I don’t want to lose you.

You won’t lose me.

We can go back to Hall of Flames together.

Go back together?

And then?

And we struggle in

the resentment forever?

Xuezhi,

after experiencing so much,

I’ve been tired with dramatic

and violent life.

What I want

is peaceful and simple

happiness.

I want to be with you

forever.

It is also what you want,

isn’t it?

Muyuan

lived for me

and Hall of Flames.

When he was dying,

he let me take care of it.

I can’t let him down.

I don’t ask you to let anyone down.

I can go back with you.

And after we settle everything,

we’ll go to Moon Valley.

Alright.

I know

Hall of Flames is important to you.

If you have

made up your mind,

I won’t force you.

But I hope

you know

what you want.

I believe Leader Chong Ye

and Muyuan

would want you

to be happy.

I hope you can understand it.

Fengzi.

Father,

you are pregnant. It’s not safe to sit here.

Go back to your room.

-It’s okay. -Go back.

Father.

Do you remember?

When Qingmei and I were kids,

we always practiced martial arts here.

Then, I thought

he worked very hard,

so when he grew up,

he would be a hero.

Qingmei is talented

and worked hard.

He is my best student

for these years.

Father,

do you think

Qingmei has

been a hero

in somewhere?

Of course.

Maybe

when he’s tired of helping others outside,

he’ll come back.

In your next life,

you should also

marry a man who picks flowers for you.

Leader,

I think after we’re back,

we should rebuild the ancestral hall first.

The place for worship must be clean.

Alright.

And that Blacksmithing Workshop.

We need more tuyeres.

The temperature is high.

It’s like a stove in summer.

Fine.

Also,

the flowers and grasses in the yard.

We haven’t taken care of them for long.

They must be dying.

But it doesn’t matter.

Chequ and I

will buy some seeds in Peace County.

Right, Chequ?

Leader.

Chief Guardian told us

to bring Mr. Yuwen’s body

to Hall of Flames to bury.

Fine.

Zhusha, Chequ.

I want to go to a place first.

To Xuezhi

Xuezhi,

this dress

is for you.

I know you like it so much.

I found it back for you.

When I just arrived at here,

I hoped

to give you a same red dress

and marry you.

And then, we would

live a peaceful and happy life.

But now, I know

that you never

have feeling for me.

Even though I give you the most pretty wedding dress,

in your eyes,

it’s not better than this worn red dress.

Xuezhi,

I’ll go to lurk around Lord Lu tomorrow.

I don’t know

whether I can come back.

If I’m lucky enough to gain Hall of Flames back,

I’ll give this dress to you in person,

and make your wedding glorious.

Xuezhi,

I want you to

be an ordinary girl

and wear your favorite clothes.

Live with your loved one forever

and always be happy.

Leader.

Zhusha.

Have a seat.

I have something to tell you.

Zhusha.

I have decided

not to go back to Hall of Flames.

You don’t go back?

But Leader,

we have been looking forward to

the day that Hall of Flames comes back for long.

Why don’t you go back?

Zhusha.

I begged the Crown Prince

to lift the lockdown of Hall of Flames

not because

I want to be the leader.

But because what Hall of Flames does

is beneficial to the world.

Only when we have strong military,

can we live a happy life.

But Leader.

How can Hall of Flames exist

if we don’t have a leader?

You are right.

There must be a leader of Hall of Flames.

But the leader

can be someone else.

I have found

a new capable leader

for Hall of Flames.

Leader.

You...

You mean me?

Xuezhi.

My heart

is for your heart.

I feel what you feel.

You are back.

I couldn’t wait any longer.

Xuezhi,

do you remember you promised

to give me

your most important thing?

I know what I want now.

What?

I want your rest time.

I want to be a part

in your rest life.

Stabilize the ladder.

Wuming.

How’s it going?

-How’s everything going? -Mr. Lin.

We made it well here.

We’ve finished it.

Only the backyard hasn’t been decorated.

Good.

This is the first time we hold a happy event.

Yes.

We must decorate it well.

No wonder you didn’t go back to Hall of Flames.

You want to stay here

to be Mrs. Shangguan.

I always wanted

to experience the martial arts world

and fight for a good place for Hall of Flames.

But then, I found

that it’s not hard to join the world.

The really hard thing is

living a simple

and carefree life.

How pitiful I am.

I have to manage Hall of Flames alone.

What a tricky issue.

Look at your bad temper.

Chequ’s life is harder.

Look.

Even Hongxiu tells it.

What?

Do you think

the rouge is too red?

It’s almost the time for wedding.

Why don’t you stay with Master Shangguan?

Why did you come here?

The time is enough.

Chequ is with Tou.

There’s nothing that I can help.

Also,

I have something more important to talk to you.

Talk to me?

What’s your good thing?

Come on,

Master Yin.

You are not old,

but why is your memory so bad?

Have you forgotten the thing I told you before?

What?

I’ve really forgotten.

I told you

to make some herbal medicine for Tou and Xuezhi.

I hope to have a grandchild earlier.

You... You...

How can you speak out those words?

Filthy words.

Why are they filthy words?

How...

How come a physician is so shy?

I tell you.

I am a physician, not a midwife.

Giving you a baby is not my business.

You don’t help me?

Fine, I’ll find medicine for myself.

It’s not this.

It’s not?

And this.

It’s not this.

Your medicine is not here.

Go away.

Don’t bother me.

It’s annoying.

You...

Leader.

It’s really good to see

you getting married.

Look at you.

What did you call me?

You are the leader of Hall of Flames now.

I’m used to it.

Also, in my heart,

you are always my leader.

Alright.

It’s time for wedding.

Wear this pair of earrings.

Wait.

These earrings

were prepared by Muyuan.

Do I look pretty?

Yes.

You are pretty.

Leader!

-Leader! -Chequ.

You can’t go in. What are you doing?

Men can’t come in.

Go out!

Let me finish my words.

Go out!

Stop!

What are you doing?

Shangguan Tou escaped.

Escaped? Where did he go?

I can’t find him in the whole Moon Valley.

Xuezhi!

Leader!

Leader!

Take care.

Xuezhi, take care.

Xuezhi, don’t worry.

I’ve asked the disciples to find him.

They will find him.

What’s wrong with Tou?

What will he do

on such an important day?

Chequ.

Say it clearly.

What do you mean “Shangguan Tou escaped”?

He will marry Leader today.

Where can he go?

I don’t know.

Master Shangguan won’t disappear suddenly.

Chequ, think about it.

Did he say anything when he left?

Right.

He said something.

What?

His words are weird.

It’s

like a poem.

What poem?

I can’t remember it clearly.

It’s about trees and flowers...

And marry...

So he should marry first.

Why did he escape?

The peach tree is with luxuriant foliage

and the flowers are lush.

The girl who will marry

will live a happy life.

Yes.

It’s this poem.

I know.

Xuezhi! Xuezhi!

Shangguan Tou!

I know you are here!

Come out!

Shangguan Tou, come out!

Come out!

The peach tree is with luxuriant foliage

and the flowers are lush.

The girl who will marry

will live a happy life.

Don’t you want to marry me?

I want to spend such a beautiful time

only with you.

Xuezhi.

I love you.

I love you, too.
