[Episode 113]

I want distance this resort from anything related to President Jin,

and I want to establish my own empire as the brand-new K Group.

What are your thoughts?

I agree with you.

I'll do as you say.

I knew I could depend on you.

Then I'll see you tomorrow.

Mom, Sister.

I'll crush Chairman Koo myself!

I'll continue to be Kelly, and dig Chairman Koo's grave.

He's probably anxious right now.

I'll use that anxiety and take his soul.

I'll make sure that he trembles with fear before I drain his life away.

Do you have a good plan in mind?

We've gotten rid of his right hand, Kang Se-na.

All that's left is to get rid of Moon Hyun-soo.

What do you mean?

Chief Moon is on our side.

You've been fooled.

What?

Chief Moon is willing to work for whoever pays him the most.

He came to me and told me that he's willing to betray you.

Consider yourself fortunate that you know about him now.

Leave Chairman Koo and Chief Moon to me,

and you focus on reviving the filtration business.

Don't worry about that.

As long as we successfully unveil our new product,

it will succeed in the market.

Your father would be proud of you both.

Kang-min.

Don't tell me not to meet with Kelly.

Wake up.

She's not Jin Hyun-ah, she's Chen's adoptive daughter.

Don't confuse your feelings toward Manager Han as love.

I don't want to hear it.

You have trouble looking past your emotions, so it's my job to help you see.

Because you're my one and only brother.

If you really care about me,

why can't you respect my wishes?

I trust your decisions concerning everything else.

But not your feelings toward Manager Han.

I miss Do-joon, so can I wake him up?

For the time being, let's keep your true identity a secret.

Yea. Mom's right.

If people find out that you're Hyun-ah,

we'll miss our chance for revenge against Chairman Koo.

Yea, okay.

I've waited for two years, so I can wait a little longer.

Yea.

You're both probably tired so you should go on home.

Don't think about anything today and just go to sleep.

My daughters.

I don't know if this is a dream or if it's reality.

Let me hold you again.

Thanks for returning to me.

This reminds me of old times.

I want my memories to return too.

I know that you're my sister,

but you still seem kind of unfamiliar.

I didn't have a chance to ask you earlier,

but how was I involved in that accident?

You don't remember any of that?

I've read the article on Jin Hyun-ah,

so I know that I was involved in an accident.

Don't be surprised.

Kang Se-na was behind both you and Mom's accidents.

Hyun-ah, are you okay?

How have I been living my life?

I couldn't even recognize my own enemy before my eyes.

And I've been working with them!

I hate myself for what I've done!

Don't dwell on the past and let's focus on the future.

The only thing left is to take care of Chairman Koo.

We're almost finished.

It's past midnight, so why isn't she back home?

Yea, Honey.

Did something happen?

Come out to the park in front of the house.

Honey.

Why didn't you come inside?

What's the matter?

What did Manager Han say to you this time?

Honey, Manager Han is...

She's my Hyun-ah.

What do you mean?

The test came back negative.

The chairman and Se-na had tampered with our test.

Why couldn't Manager Han recognize you and your mother?

Hyun-ah suffered from amnesia after the accident.

She was getting hypnotherapy recently,

but the chairman was only suppressing her memories.

He tried to keep our family divided.

You must get your revenge.

I hate the fact that I'm his son.

Because of him, we're all suffering in this living hell.

I'll never resent you again.

This is something I have to face,

and I'm glad that you're here by my side.

Thanks for being understanding.

For the time being,

please keep this secret from your brother.

Hyun-ah's extremely distressed right now.

She'll need time to sort this out.

I'll do as you say.

Breakfast is ready.

I'm not interested.

Honey, what's the matter?

You need to have breakfast.

You go on ahead,

Hyun-soo, let's go out and eat something.

-Yes, sir. -Let's go.

Honey!

Your father-in-law complained of discord in the family,

but now that Se-na's not here,

I can see that you were the problem!

Mother, I resent that.

What?

Hey, ask anyone.

They'd say you're the one who keeps challenging your father!

I'll make breakfast from now on,

so just leave before your father-in-law wakes up!

Just my luck...

Oh my...

Don't worry about her.

Let it go in one ear and out the other.

I'm fine.

Let's have breakfast.

Why don't you dig in?

I've made your favorite dish.

I've never suffered from a lack of appetite before.

But you seem to be doing well, Big Sis.

Did something good happen to you?

Yea, about that...

I'll tell you about it later.

Good morning.

Why are you here so early in the morning?

Get out, will you?

Hey, stop neglecting me.

I was invited here this morning.

I called him here.

What?

I have an announcement to make.

Do-joon and Ra-bong.

I want both of you to stop working the restaurant

and focus on your studlies.

What are you talking about?

How will you manage the restaurant by yourself?

How else?

She has me.

Mother-in-law, what do you mean?

I can't bear to think about Se-na in jail.

She doesn't know her place in society,

and her far-fetched dreams led to her downfall.

Therefore, I want the two of you to lead better lives.

How?

From now on, me and Mr. Kim will run the restaurant,

so study hard and make it to college.

Sister, that's quite the sacrifice!

I'll support the kids too.

I'm so glad that I have you.

Jackpot will be born soon,

so these two will need promising careers.

What are your thoughts, Do-joon?

I completely agree with you.

I'll study hard and make it to college.

Yea.

Thanks, Jackpot's father.

And while you're at it,

help Bong in her studies too.

If he wastes his time with me,

I might hinder him from making it to college.

Mom, you know that I'm not cut out for studying.

Can I do something else instead?

Why, that...!

What else could you do?

I'll be a good mother to Jackpot.

Why, you rotten...!

Being a mother isn't a dream or a career!

While I'm still willing to support you,

go out and make something of yourself!

I have no idea what I want to do!

This is so frustrating...

It's my fault for knocking you on the head so many times...

Bong...

For Jackpot's sake, please grow up already!

College may not be for everyone,

so think about something else you'd like to do.

Yes, ma'am.

Have you just arrived?

Yes.

Manager Han, let's go.

Seeing how he fell in love with her again, not knowing who she is...

...it must be fate.

Hyun-ah's lost her memories and she's been emotional hurt.

I can imagine.

She probably suffered as Chen's adoptive daughter.

When I first saw her, she seemed like an emotionless robot.

But I'm glad your brother is by her side.

Let's go now.

[Partnering with Chen Company,

JH Group looks to expand globally]

Rise as high as you can.

That way, I'll enjoy watching you crash and burn.

Did you see the article?

Just now.

Reading that article made my blood boil!

We must move quickly.

At this rate, we'll get hurt.

Why does Chairman Koo keep targeting our family?

He's taken enough from us already!

What else does he want from us?

Father has passed away, but we're still here.

He's afraid of vengeance and he wants to crush us.

If we're to bring him down,

we'll need to find evidence against him.

Evidence?

Kang Se-na holds incriminating evidence against Chairman Koo.

We must discover what it is.

Then I'll pay Kang Se-na a visit.

She's probably sour because Chairman Koo betrayed her,

so she may let me in on it.

She was betrayed by the chairman, but don't underestimate her.

Make sure she doesn't discover your identity.

Alright.

The internet is plastered with father's article.

He's using the media to push his resort business through.

Chairman Koo is one step ahead of us as always.

But Kang Se-na is under arrest.

Is someone else working for my father?

Yes.

Who is it?

It's Chief Moon.

It's true.

How long has he been working against us?

Based on what Hyun-ah told me yesterday,

...he's not to be trusted.

She tells me Moon Hyun-soo wants to tear our company apart.

Is he trying to steal money from our company?

Moon Hyun-soo is Cha Gun-woo's cousin.

What?

Is that true?

Calm down.

Let's continue to keep an eye on him.

It's not time to dispose of him yet.

He's no different than Kang Se-na.

He may interfere with the release of our new product.

We'll need to be careful.

I have a meeting with Lee Dong-hyuk at the factory,

...so I have to get going.

I'll see you when you get back.

Shall I use the media to strike back at the chairman?

[Chairman Koo of JH Group murdered President Jin Jung-han]

I've searched everywhere around the springs,

but I couldn't find the evidence.

Are you telling me that she's continuing to tell me lies?

I don't think she'll hand it over.

She's continuing to cause trouble.

I should've got rid of her overseas like I did with Cha Gun-woo.

She's becoming a real hassle.

Find a way to get rid of Kang Se-na.

Yes, sir.

Not only is she belligerent, but she's also persistent.

Why did you come here?

You caused me to fall into the water?

I'll make sure that you never leave this place.

I'm sure you're not here because you're worried about me.

I never imagined that Chairman Koo would go so far.

You used to be his daughter-in-law.

He's much crueler than I had imagined.

Get to the point.

Do you want to exact your revenge against the chairman?

I'm sure you already know.

Chen is trying to overtake JH Group.

I'll help you bring Chairman Koo down.

I understand that you're holding onto his weakness.

Give that evidence to me.

What will I get in return?

I give you enough money to live overseas for the rest of your life.

Did Chairman Koo send you here?

I don't trust anyone anymore!

Get out of here!

I depend on no one else but myself!

How am I going to get out of here?

Why didn't you call me beforehand?

The marinated crab turned out very tasty.

I wanted to give you some.

So you remember that I love marinated crab?

Sit down for a while.

I was in the middle of something.

I'll be right here,

so don't worry about me and take your time.

Would you like some juice?

No.

We'll have some together later.

Yea, okay.

The study is the chairman's private space.

I'm sure that there's something in there.

But I can't find the time to search the place.

[Kelly Han's Hypnosis Evaluation Report]

[Chairman Koo killed my father.]

Koo In-soo, you're not even human.

How dare you hide my daughter's amnesia like this?

You deserve divine punishment!

Why are you coming out of the study?

I thought it was the bathroom, but it wasn't.

Goodness, Jung-ok...

It's not like it's your first time in our house.

I'm worried about you.

You're making it hard on Kang-mo.

The grapes look really good!

Why aren't you eating any? The grapes are really sweet.

Jung-ok.

I feel horrible right now.

What is it this time?

Kang-min has feelings for a woman with a fiance.

You know her too.

General Manager Kelly Han.

I think that woman seduced my son.

Why does he want that two-timing woman?

Don't talk about Kelly like that.

Why are you getting angry?

You seem like you're back to normal...

I used to work for Miss Kelly as her housekeeper.

She seems like a good person.

You may think she's a good person,

but she's not fit for my son.

Why did you want to meet with me?

Mother-in-law says that Kang Se-na is blackmailing the chairman.

Do you know anything about that?

Kang Se-na is holding a video of the chairman.

What kind of video is it?

I don't know what it is.

Of course you don't, because you're hiding it from me.

That's why you didn't give me the video of Hyun-ah.

Your days as Chairman Koo's lapdog are numbered!

To be honest,

...Kang Se-na told me that she hid the USB under a pine tree.

Would you happen to know which pine tree she's talking about?

A pine tree?

I'm not sure.

I'll give it some thought.

Yes, Chairman.

I'll be there soon.

Let's get going.

You go on ahead.

I need some more fresh air.

Alright then...

I forgot to tell you earlier,

but his real name is Cha Gun-shik.

He's even changed his name?

Now that I think about it,

I think he staged it when he saved my life in America.

I'll need to find out more about him.

He told me that Kang Se-na hid the chairman's USB under a pine tree.

Do you have any idea where that might be?

I'm not sure.

Big Sis.

What is it?

You seemed happy this morning.

Why the long face now?

No, it's nothing.

Sleeping all day won't pay the bills.

I should get out there and fry some more chicken.

I'm so sore...

Chairman Koo hid your real medical file?

According to these logs,

you remembered everything when you were under hypnosis!

If I had gone elsewhere,

I would've recognized you and Mom already.

Let's go and get proper treatment now.

Who was in my study?

I don't even let anyone clean your study!

There were papers on the floor!

Oh, Jung-ok was here earlier

and she walked in there thinking it was the bathroom.

What?

What did you say?

Hong Jung-ok was in my study?

And you let her go inside?

I was making kimchi,

so I didn't even know she went inside!

Watch your blood pressure and take your medication.

Do I look like I want to drink that now?

We're home.

Did your mother's memories return?

She came here during the day and went through my study.

Do you know something?

No.

I didn't talk to my mother today.

I think my mother mistakenly walked in there.

Is something important missing?

Why do I even bother asking you?

Why are you so afraid of my mother's memories coming back?

For the sake of my son, I prefer that she recovers her memories.

I should recommend a good doctor to her.

Thank you for being concerned about my mom.

Yea.

See how considerate your father-in-law is?

Now he wants to suppress my mom's memories.

You should've refused. Why did you accept his offer?

We can use this against him.

[I love Koo Kang-min, but he's the son of my enemy]

[Erased all of her memories of Koo Kang-min]

I was wondering if you were still here.

Why don't we go out for a drink?

Next time.

I'm a bit tired today.

Did something happen?

You look rather pale.

I've been working late.

Then go home and get some rest.

I'll take you home.

I can go by myself.

I'm afraid that you'll collapse on your way home.

You can thank me for the extra fried egg...

You see, I...

I believe that the new product will save our company.

But the resort is a much larger scale,

and it could make us into a global company.

It's not like we'll get a raise, so let's go back to work.

What's with you people?

The production is going as planned.

We are on track to unveil our new product on October 23rd.

Chairman Chen is willing to invest more into the company.

What convinced him to do so?

I told him about your plans to replace the JH Group with your K Group.

And what did he say?

He has high hopes for the K Group,

and he's agreed to invest more money in it.

Why are you interrupting our meeting?

It's an emergency. I thought you should see this.

This comes from Japan...

It may be an investment offer. Why don't you take a look?

[Chairman Koo of JH Group murdered President Jin Jung-han]

From now on, your life will be a living hell.
