[The Wolf]

[Episode 6]

As long as the Ma Army can be saved,

[Episode 6]

I'm willing to give it a shot.

Since Princess Ma is willing to take the risk...

I'm also a member of the Ma Army.

I'm willing to take the risk.

I will accompany you, risking my life.

Wen Yan.

Give the princess the pill

to suppress schizophrenia.

We'll set out on our journey.

Mo Xiao.

Send a messenger pigeon to Hai Die.

We will reach the capital by a quarter past noon.

Tell her to get the horses ready at the mountain.

This is the path you mentioned?

Unless one has the skill of a wolf,

a normal person would not be able to climb down!

Below this cliff,

if you keep straight on,

you'll reach the capital.

But...

how do I get down from here?

As I said,

this is a dangerous path.

Does it mean...

Your Highness has climbed down from here?

I haven't.

Then... Your Highness...

Why is...

my head getting heavier?

Must be that the pill

Wen Yan gave you

which suppresses schizophrenia

is taking effect now.

Why...

Why is it happening now?

Then...

my Ma Army...

You won't be unconscious for long,

don't worry.

There are times

when I need you to be awake.

I didn't lie to you.

I have never climbed down from here before.

That's because,

no one can get down from this cliff.

With you here,

it's up to heaven to decide

whether we'll survive or not.

Master!

Go!

Put down the revolt!

Lord Bo is yet to show himself!

His Majesty is not responding either!

So don't blame the Ma Army

for going ahead!

It's noon.

Attack the city!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Your Highness.

Look at the time.

Are we still not going to shoot the arrows?

Are you stupid?

My father in law

is still in the hands of the Ma Army.

If we were to shoot now,

he is sure to die!

Yes, Your Highness.

It's my fault, I was in a hurry and

neglected that.

Archers, get ready!

For the truth!

Shoot!

All warriors-

Ma Princess is here!

It's Princess!

Princess! Princess! Princess!

It's really the princess!

Princess! Princess! Princess!

Princess!

Princess! Princess!

General Feng Cheng.

Ma Jing.

Please rise!

Princess!

Princess!

You are still alive!

Heaven isn't blind!

The Ma Army swears allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

We swear allegiance to the princess!

General Feng Cheng.

It's all thanks to Wen Yan and Lord Bo

who saved my life.

General Ma.

You have a royal heart,

you should not doubt His Majesty.

The case of Castellan Ma

has been ascertained.

It was the doing of a traitor.

The traitor is the Prince of Tongzhou,

Gu Qing Ping.

Here is the evidence of him colluding with the enemy.

Princess.

Prince of Tongzhou

really planned it?

This is the tiger seal

that was found on the Prince of Tongzhou.

The tiger seal.

This is true,

He tried to take me away

but I'm lucky Lord Bo saved me.

Besides,

the killer who went to Ma Mansion

held the tiger seal in his hands.

I witnessed

all of this with my own eyes.

His Majesty has arrived!

Your Majesty.

Ma Feng Cheng.

All you want from me

is to swear a blood oath, right?

I'm here to take a blood oath

in front of every warrior here.

I swear.

If the death of General Ma Ying

was caused by my unkindness,

I,

shall be punished by Heaven

and I'll deserve to die!

Your Majesty!

Zhang Jin.

Let me take the blood oath.

From now on,

the Ma Army submits itself to the court!

We submit ourselves to Your Majesty!

We submit ourselves to the court!

We submit ourselves to Your Majesty!

We submit ourselves to the court!

We submit ourselves to Your Majesty!

We submit ourselves to the court!

We submit ourselves to Your Majesty!

We submit ourselves to the court!

We submit ourselves to Your Majesty!

Father.

Please watch over us from heaven.

Your daughter and the Ma Army

will take revenge

for the whole Ma family.

Princess.

Come in.

Greetings, Princess.

Princess!

What is this for?

Being on my knees

is not enough

to repay the hard work of all the warriors

who risked their life

to bring their soldier to the capital.

I, Zhai Xing,

thank you on behalf of my late father.

Princess!

Please don't!

Princess...

If you don't get up,

I will stay on my knees too.

Quick! Quick! Quick!

Come!

Please get up.

Princess.

We did all that

on our own accord.

In the future,

you do not have to

thank us for this.

We are one big family.

This

is a ring cake I made myself.

When I'm unhappy,

I take a bite from it.

It will take all your troubles away.

Princess.

Please have a try.

Ma Jing!

Princess.

Please excuse my sister.

This sister of mine,

her martial arts is mediocre

but when it comes to eating,

she is unbeatable.

Brother!

She eats everywhere she goes.

She ate half of

Ma Army's army rations,

Brother! You...

Princess.

Don't worry.

I will take good care of you.

As long as all of you are safe.

To protect the Ma Army,

to protect every one of you

are the greatest wishes of my father.

From now on.

All of these

will be my responsibility.

Princess.

Now,

there's bad blood between the Ma Army and the court.

Though His Majesty said he will let this go,

but

a king's mind is unpredictable.

In days to come,

the aim I'll be working towards

is to repair the relationship

between the Ma Army and the court.

Princess.

You have placed all of your thoughts

on the Ma Army.

You should

think about yourself too.

You managed

to escape

King of Jin's killing order

and the scheme of Tongzhou's Young Master.

Oh right!

Are...

Are... Are you hurt?

It was all thanks to Lord Bo

that I could return safely.

He saved me many times.

That's how I was able to survive.

Speaking of which,

Lord Bo

is my benefactor too.

Princess!

Listen to me!

I have heard from others that

Lord Bo is filled with evil!

He is a ruthless

demon!

So from now on,

if you meet him,

be sure to keep your distance!

Please remember this!

Even though

Lord Bo didn't say

a single word on our way

to comfort me,

he forced me to face the reality

and helped me overcome all difficulties.

Even when

the Young Master of Tongzhou

captured me,

he got hurt to save me.

Brother Feng Cheng,

Ma Jing,

something came to my mind.

I will head out for now.

Princess!

Princess!

Your injuries

hadn't healed yet.

After the journey,

the wound opened up again.

Master.

Master.

I have given them orders

to bring in a basin of ice water.

Apply an ice compress on the wound

for at least half an hour.

Please don't rush it.

Ok.

Return to the mansion for now.

I can handle this myself.

Princess Ma.

How did Your Highness know it was me?

I recognize your footsteps.

What are you doing here?

I came to check on Your Highness,

and I saw a maid at the door

with a pail full of water. So I...

It's not the first time

you see my naked body.

Princess Ma.

Isn't it too late

for you to be shy now?

That's because last time

my thoughts were running wild,

I forgot the difference between men and women.

How can you compare that to now?

Well, could you leave

this time?

You are injured.

Let me take care of you.

No need.

Don't move around!

Sit still!

Sit still!

This high-quality medicine

has to go with the ice compress

for a better effect.

Your Highness is injured.

It's difficult to treat wounds yourself.

Please don't reject my kind intention.

Let me repay your kindness.

Has Your Highness

experienced a painful past?

You want to...

test me again...

if I'm that someone you once knew?

I'm over the idea that

you could be Wolfie.

After all,

there are a lot of similar people in the world.

I just feel that

Your Highness is bearing a lot of pain.

These wounds

must have reopened

while we were on the road.

But all along the way,

Your Highness never showed

any sign of pain.

But...

How can it not hurt?

I get hurt frequently...

I got used to it.

You can get used to bearing pain?

You must have

experienced

an incredibly sad

and painful past.

May I ask Your Highness

to teach me how to bear pain?

You've been...

alone all this time.

Enduring it.

When schizophrenia kicks in,

you forced yourself to be awake.

For the Ma Army,

you cheered yourself up.

You are strong enough.

You don't need me to teach you.

Princess Ma.

At this very moment,

you shouldn't cry.

Tonight,

Your Majesty is hosting a banquet

in the Royal Garden.

Your Ma family's general is invited too.

Thank you, Your Highness.

I understand.

I shall take my leave.

Your Highness.

I hope that from now on,

you and I don't have to bear any more pain.

You truly know how to act.

His Majesty has arrived!

Welcome, Your Majesty.

The Dragon and Phoenix Auspicious Cup?

Does His Majesty

have something important to announce?

The last time the cup was used

was the day I got married.

Why is it here?

Your Majesty.

Everyone,

please rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Sit.

Get in place.

No one shall ever speak about

what happened at the city gate today.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Great!

I love it!

Sit! Sit! Sit!

Sit!

To the prime minister.

The Ma Army has offended you in many ways.

Although Your Majesty has forgiven us

and will not punish us,

I would like to drink this as punishment.

I hope you can forgive and forget, Prime Minister.

Please do not say that.

I deeply respect

the loyalty of General Ma.

Just as His Majesty said,

a smile for a grudge,

everything is brushed aside.

Zhai Xing.

You can be at peace

sitting here,

isn't there someone else

that you should be more grateful for?

Yes,

Your Majesty.

Your Highness.

Thank you for your kindness.

You saved my life.

The Ma Army and I

owe you a debt of gratitude.

We will surely repay you someday.

Here's a toast to you.

You Gui.

Take a look at the princess and Lord Bo.

Aren't they a good match?

I

would like you to marry Lord Bo

and be my daughter-in-law,

what do you think?

Yes, Father.

I feel the same way too.

He's a capable man and she is a beautiful woman.

Besides, Third Brother

has yet to marry.

I, as his elder brother,

am worried about him.

But I'm not sure what Third Brother

thinks about this?

Third Brother.

The world is not yet stable,

my heart is focused on military affairs.

I've never thought about marriage.

I'm afraid that I have to

affront Princess Ma.

Father.

What Third Brother said

is actually a "yes".

Princess.

Please don't mind him.

This son of mine,

he

is always

busy with military affairs,

he lacks a sense of romance.

I have heard that

in Kui Zhou,

you are very picky about

your suitors.

You won't do the same

to this son of mine,

Lord Bo,

will you?

Your Majesty!

Princess doesn't mean...

Sit down.

I'm not asking you.

A royal marriage

is not just about love.

The monarch and his subjects coming together

would naturally go against

the plans of Jin to drive a wedge between us,

and it also shows

that you're in my good graces

and the Ma Army is loyal to me.

Princess.

What do you think?

Or do you have

someone else in mind already?

Is my Lord Bo not good enough for you?

Please forgive me, Your Majesty.

There's no one in my mind.

Since that is the case,

why are you hesitating?

It's because the enemy is still out there.

Your Majesty.

I'm willing to marry Lord Bo.

But I would like to ask Your Majesty

to allow us to hold the wedding ceremony

after we've taken Jin down.

Great!

I approve of it,

your wedding ceremony

will be held after your wish is granted.

I bind you with a promise to marry Lord Bo.

You and I are one family now.

From now on,

move to the capital.

On behalf of Ma Ying,

I will take good care of you.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Lord Bo.

Shouldn't you come and thank me

with the princess?

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Good!

I'm happy today!

Zhang Jin.

Yes.

With this Dragon Phoenix Cup,

grant Lord Bo and Princess Consort of Lord Bo to be

a cup of wine.

Yes, Your Majesty.

After finishing the wine,

the marriage

of the two of you is set.

Alright. Alright.

Get up. Get up.

Father granting you wine using the Auspicious Cup

shows that he truly values this marriage.

This is a joyous occasion for the royal family.

Congratulations, Third Brother and Princess Ma.

Thank you for your blessing, Second Brother.

Return to your seats.

Play the joyous music!

Everyone,

I toast to you.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Come.

Fill the cup. Fill the cup.

Another toast.

Good things should come in pairs.

Come on.

Please, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

I'm not a good drinker,

I'd like to return to my room to rest.

Alright.

Alright.

Go rest quickly.

I shall take my leave.

Lord Bo.

Wolfie.

This is Xing Er's wedding wine.

I'm sorry.

I can no longer wait for you.

Today...

I've been granted a marriage.

We were destined to meet

but not fated to be together.

It's you?

My father...

ordered me to send you back to your place.

Please go ahead.

Let go!

Why is it that even if you're ugly,

you're as ugly as him?

Princess, have some self-respect.

Time to return.

Stop telling me

what I should do

or whom to marry!

I just want to see Wolfie now...

You don't have his scar!

You don't have his pureness!

And there's such a big difference

in status between you and him!

Who allowed you to look like him?

Even if you are Lord Bo, so what?

Princess Ma.

Is the person

who you mistake me for

very important to you?

If he isn't important,

why leave a lantern riddle of the character "wolf"?

It seems like you still miss him.

Actually,

you are Wolfie.

Right?

Wolfie.

I truly,

truly,

wanted to tell you this.

To me,

your existence

is a stumbling block!

I have wanted to kick you aside for so long!

A human and

a wolf can never be together!

Don't you get it?

In the eyes of others

you're just a freak!

Get away from me!

Get lost!

Get lost!

Don't be silly.

I'm not that Wolfie who you can willfully betray

and hurt.

It doesn't matter what you say.

You're not good enough for me!

Get lost!

Princess!

Princess!

Where are you? Princess!

Princ...

Princess!

Princess!

Princess!

Princess!

Why are you...?

Why are you in the water?

Get up quickly!

Are you ok?

Come.

Slowly.

Are you ok?

Why were you in the water?

What happened?

Wolfie.

This is the palace,

there is no Wolfie here.

Just now...

he was really here.

I chased him away.

Wolfie...

Let's go.

Let's go back.

Wolfie...

You left.

It's a good thing that you left.

If you leave,

you won't see me

marry someone else.

I'm sorry, Princess.

Let's go back and rest.

It's fine.

Everything is fine, don't cry.

Wolfie would be happy for you too.

Go back and have a good sleep and it will be fine.

Let's go.

Let's go back.

Let's go.

Wolfie...

Where is my and Second Prince's carriage?

Please don't be angry.

I'll go and rush them now.

Military Officer.

You are the cousin of the Fourth Prince,

the nephew of the late queen.

Look at the prime minister.

He did not give a greeting

as he left.

Him?

He is just

the Second Prince's father-in-law.

But he doesn't even know that

the son-in-law of his

is just a brat

given birth by a prostitute in Bozhou's camp.

I'm still doubting

if he really has

the blood of his Majesty,

Prime Minister.

I didn't expect that

though I came here this late

my carriage is already here.

The Military Officer's horse

has a kind of wildness in it.

It's normal for it to go on a rampage.

It seems like the horse is like its owner,

rude and impetuous.

Father-in-law.

Forget about it.

Military Officer Yang.

You deride me because my mother

was a prostitute at a camp.

You may not get tired of saying that,

but I've grown bored of it.

For all these years,

is this the only trick you have?

So little thought for improvement,

even I'm ashamed of you.

Second Prince is of good character,

but I'm afraid the Military Officer

is as reckless as a horse,

someday the man and horse will topple over.

You are exaggerating.

It'll be quite difficult

for the horse to topple over.

This horse is from Qitan,

it is a top-notch war-horse.

Not some crossbreed horse,

or a wild horse of unknown origin.

His blood is pure

just as

the Forth Prince who will return from Qitan

sooner or later.

He is the queen's only son

before she passed away.

Nobody can compare to him.

You!

You're mocking the Second Prince!

I

will wait wholeheartedly

for the Forth Prince to be back.

Goodbye.

Take care.
