The second child in Jewang Group and also a famous actress, Oh Ha Ra,

arouses controversy over her leaving her son in a fitting room.

A video posted on an online community of mothers is spreading quickly.

It seems difficult for her to avoid being accused of child abuse.

(Episode 32)

Yes, director.

Let me explain.

Mrs. Oh. You're removed from the cast.

Director!

What is with that news?

Is that true?

Oh, gosh. How could you neglect Hoon? This is unpardonable...

President Han, let's get you inside.

Explain it to me!

Is it true you neglected Hoon?

Darling, it must not be true.

It's not, right?

I'm going to get that reporter and...

Hey, Ha Ra!

Get back here now!

President Oh, there are mean comments on Mrs. Oh.

You must do something quickly.

First, get them to take down all the articles on the internet.

And prepare an explanatory article.

Darling, we shouldn't do this here.

You should go back to work.

I'll get the details from Ha Ra.

How could this happen?

Mr. Kim, you heard about it, right?

Oh Ha Ra, you must be calm in a situation like this.

Think.

I became a cold-blooded mother for neglecting my own son.

What do I do?

How do I turn this around?

I need to cover up the news with another news.

Right.

It's Ha Ra.

I have a favor to ask.

You have to do this for me.

Otherwise, I'm dead.

Block them all!

Ha Ra's life depends on it.

Do whatever you can to block them.

Ha Ra!

Where are you off to?

What...

Get your hand off of me.

It's because I'm worried a monster like you will mistreat the child.

Did you look into it?

Who brought Hoon to my husband at the department store?

It was Chief Hwang Ga Heun.

All right. Hang up.

Hwang Ga Heun!

You got me off of the cast?

She neglected her child? Has she lost her mind?

What did the child do wrong? I feel sorry for him.

It's all...

Hey!

What's with this article? What happened?

We'll talk later. I need to go to Hoon right now.

Okay. Go ahead.

It was you, Ga Heun.

You disclosed it

What are you talking about all of a sudden?

Do you think I don't know?

You're the one who posted it.

You disclosed the video to mess with me!

You think I don't know?

I love my Hoon so much.

Why would I neglect him?

How could you accuse me of being a bad mother?

- Honey! - Ha Ra!

Honey, what's wrong? Are you okay?

Ha Ra, are you all right?

I'm going to be moved to the hospital for miscarrying.

Make a record of my pregnancy.

I beg you.

Please.

My stomach!

My stomach.

It hurts too much.

Ha Ra.

What are you doing? Get her on your back!

Okay.

She miscarried?

Yes, sadly so.

So you're saying Ha Ra was pregnant?

Ha Ra, you didn't know about this?

I knew it.

I've had no appetite for a few days, and I was easily irritated.

I guess that's why I did that to Hoon.

What do I do?

My poor baby.

How could this happen?

Doctor, what happened?

During early pregnancy,

the mother needs to rest and be kept from being stressed.

She had no idea she was pregnant,

and I've got the report that extreme stress could be the cause.

Right, Ha Ra.

That's why you were particularly sensitive.

How did you not know you were pregnant?

You should have taken care of her well.

I'll tell the reporters who are waiting to know about her condition...

about the miscarriage.

What do I do, Mom?

Hoon's younger sibling was here.

But I had no clue.

I feel so sorry for Hoon.

What are you saying?

You've done nothing wrong.

Perhaps, Hoon knew he'll have a younger sibling.

That must be why he whined so much to give you a hard time.

Darling, you remember, right?

You know, Ha Jun did the same.

When I had Ha Ra, he was so jealous.

This is all because of Ga Heun.

Things went wrong because of her.

I will never forgive her.

It's because of Chief Hwang? What does she mean?

The doctor said it himself earlier.

She miscarried due to extreme stress.

She was picking on Ha Ra so much.

When we replaced the company model, Ha Ra must have had the child.

Ha Ra.

What on earth happened? Are you feeling all right?

Sun Hyuk, what happened?

Mother, I'm sorry.

I didn't know I had Hoon's younger sibling.

I should have been more careful.

Come on now. It's all good. How is that your fault?

Am I right, Mrs. Geum?

Yes.

The hospital announced Oh Ha Ra's miscarriage.

Ha Ra, you're turning this around with fake pregnancy?

Fine. I've quite enjoyed your hypocritical acting.

Hwang Ga Heun.

You had my daughter miscarry?

Did she say so?

That I'm the reason she miscarried?

Don't act like you don't know.

You made her upset!

I ought to...

How does one get pregnant after taking birth control pills?

What? What are you saying?

It's a birth control pill that came out of her purse.

It seems she wanted to make it look like I caused her miscarriage.

Then, she shouldn't have lost this evidence.

Is that true?

Is that pill really my daughter's?

The accusation of child abuse.

She must have wanted to cover it with fake pregnancy and fake miscarriage.

But she picked the wrong audience.

I've warned you before...

that Oh Ha Ra is merely a risk to your management.

Wait.

Ha Ra begged me. She said she'd die if I didn't.

Jewang Group has also invested in our hospital,

so I had no choice but to listen.

Thank you. It'll be taken care of, thanks to you.

(Korea University Hospital)

What? Ga Heun found out that it was a fake miscarriage?

Yes.

You should have done it perfectly. Why did you drop your birth control pills?

So...

is she going to tell the world about it?

She told you never to neglect Hoon.

She doesn't want you to get in the way of the new brand launch.

She's getting in my way.

She's standing in every way I go.

Anyway,

the people who were criticizing you for child abuse...

are starting to pity you.

Then what about the cast?

Did you convince the director?

The casting...

won't happen.

What?

I'm not going to let this slide, Ga Heun!

Seriously!

Ha Ra!

I'm going to kill them all!

Ha Ra.

Hwang Ga Heun!

Just once...

Please let it go just once.

I can't...

let Ha Ra's acting career end.

She's got a lot of feelings toward you.

So she must have done it without realizing it.

So please,

give her a pass this once.

I beg you.

Fine.

I'll let it go this time.

But make sure to tell Ha Ra...

to never neglect her child again.

She can't cause trouble to our new brand, right?

Of course not.

A lot of money has gone into that project.

Thank you, Chief Hwang.

I will scold her...

and make sure she never neglects Hoon.

Thank you so much.

Oh Ha Ra,

I'll be the one to end your acting career.

Because I've already written...

your final work.

Ha Ra's problem has been solved.

You won't need to worry too much.

How come she tried to be in a drama...

without knowing she was pregnant?

However sensitive she was,

what mother leaves her child alone in that small room?

Do I have to see such absurd incidents at my age?

Grandma, Mom cried because I made her upset.

She even pinky-promised she'll never leave me alone.

Good Lord. Look at that little boy taking his mother's side.

By the way, why was Ha Ra nitpicking at Chief Hwang?

Ha Ra was upset...

nothing was going well after leaving the company model position,

so she was taking it out on Chief Hwang.

I scolded her good.

Who is she taking it out on when it was her fault?

And she miscarried.

Step-mom, what's gotten into you?

Since when have you understood the situation so well?

Did you think I would blame Chief Hwang without sense?

I'll bring Mrs. Oh a bowl of seaweed soup.

No, I'll bring it to her.

Hey, glorified son-in-law.

Ha Ra must have been testy because she was pregnant.

You should look after her.

Hoon, I'll bring you to the kindergarten.

We'll get going now.

You might not have an appetite, but try to eat some.

Why would I eat seaweed soup?

I'm not pregnant, nor did I miscarry.

What if someone hears you?

I really wanted to be in that mini-series.

I went to talk to the director by leaving Hoon alone at the department store.

The director approved of me.

But how could it go this way?

Still, you can't neglect your son.

We can find another drama for you.

How?

How would you do that?

There are still comments about me saying I'm a child abuser!

That's all a matter of time.

Our PR department is deleting all of them.

Mom.

Do you think I can act again?

There's no way I can be a lead role now.

What are you talking about?

Ha Ra,

you're a queen.

I am never making you a sidekick.

I'm going to make everyone in this world...

adore you, so just wait.

Come here.

It's all right.

Geum Eun Hwa kneeled before you?

The fake miscarriage was caught,

and it must have been urgent for her.

I accepted her apology by using the excuse of the new brand.

Well done.

Mr. Wang covered the IP address so that they won't be able to track it,

but nothing good will happen if they find out you posted the video.

By the way,

how is the scenario to lure Ha Ra into the stage of your revenge?

It's almost finished.

I just need the ending.

When it's finished, I plan to have Geum Eun Hwa get her hands on it.

Ha Ra was removed from the cast,

so her acting aspirations must have reached the climax.

It'll be something Ha Ra can never decline.

Yes.

Right,

did you pick the partner executive for your squad?

No, not yet.

I'm thinking.

What's to think about?

You must choose Ha Jun for your revenge.

Sun Hyuk is...

one of those who must pay.

Though President Han suggested it,

Geum Eun Hwa will take this opportunity and try to put Sun Hyuk...

in the president's position of Jewang Fashion.

I know.

For my revenge,

I must take advantage of Oh Ha Jun.

(Team Hwang Ga Heun, Team Ju Se Rin)

We're doomed.

I know.

We're going with a bomb.

What? A bomb?

Are you talking about me?

No way, sir.

We should get back to work.

President Han, we've got positive results.

- Are you sure? - Yes.

Did Chief Hwang choose Ha Jun?

Yes, ma'am.

Is this for real?

Chief Hwang chose me.

Mr. Park, did you see this?

Chief Hwang chose me as her partner.

Congratulations, Director Oh.

Yes!

Why is he so excited?

What?

Seriously?

This is the squad competition plan.

It's basically the plan Director Oh wrote.

I've only added a few more items to compete for.

Take a look and tell me your opinion.

Okay. Let me go over it.

You don't have to worry about what happened yesterday.

My wife didn't miscarry.

Cha Sun Hyuk, did you know about that?

Yet, you remained silent?

Let me apologize on her behalf.

I'm sorry.

What she did to you was very wrong.

I won't accept your apology.

Ask Mrs. Oh to apologize to me herself.

Since when have you known about it?

That Hoon was hurt by his mother?

Does that matter?

Now that you know it,

start healing his wound.

I'd like you to do that.

Please treat Hoon with art therapy.

Are we keeping it from Mrs. Oh?

All right.

I will do it for Hoon,

not you.

It might sound like an excuse,

but the way my wife lives is different from the way you do.

Her image as an actress matters more than Hoon's scars to her.

Sun Hyuk, that's a pathetic excuse.

So you will defend her?

Are you asking me to understand why she faked her miscarriage?

Now that I found out,

my wife will never hurt Hoon again.

Do you know why I chose Director Oh...

over you as the partner?

Did you hear Chief Hwang chose...

I didn't know you were here.

Director Oh,

don't you want to know why I chose you as my partner?

It's because you don't seem like a coward.

You seem like a sincere partner...

who would always step up for me.

A sincere partner?

I didn't know she thinks of me that way.

Hwang Ga Heun, you made me give in?

Putting Ha Ra aside, I must get rid of her.

Mother, did you see the notice about the teams?

Is Ga Heun out of her mind?

How can she take a bomb like Ha Jun with her?

Is she planning to take advantage of him when he becomes the heir?

Who said he will be the heir?

That's not what I meant.

I'm saying Ga Heun is up to something.

She proudly chose Ha Jun.

It means she's confident about the competition.

She's something.

If we don't do something, she'd try to take Ha Ra, you, and me down...

and even covet Jewang Group.

This time, we must try everything we can...

and take her down.

Now you get how I feel.

How desperate would I have been to play tricks?

I will certainly win the launching competition.

I've been working on the new brand before her.

I have a special weapon.

What special weapon?

You should've shown me that already.

Ms. Hwang.

You chose Ha Jun as your partner for the competition.

So?

You're making a big mistake.

You don't know how helpless he is.

I do. That's why I chose him.

It can be only fair when I carry a bomb.

What did you say?

Are you saying I'm a bomb?

I have my special weapon.

I was in charge of the new brand before you came along.

You'd better get ready to be crushed by me.

I'm leaving to get the weapon for Vice President Geum.

A special weapon?

Chief Hwang.

Am I really a bomb?

Am I that pathetic?

You said you're rather a rocket.

If you can't prove that, you'll no longer be my partner.

I won't? What?

How can I prove it?

Ga Heun, you have your eyes on Ha Jun?

I should kick her out before he falls deeper for her.

It's good that I saved Eun Jo's designs.

With these, there's no doubt I can win the competition.

Oh, dear. It's a thief!

I should catch him. What do I do?

It's a thief!

I must catch him. What should I do?

I'm doomed.

Ju Se Rin, it's time for you to meet the new Ko Eun Jo.

We came yesterday too. What did you pack so much for?

I should take care of my daughter-in-law...

at a time like this.

Ha Ra could've faked it all.

Are you speaking ill of my daughter-in-law?

She's your daughter-in-law, but also an actress.

I've known her since high school.

She always fakes things.

She has a different mindset from normal people's.

Don't you ever say something like that to anyone.

She's a little high-maintenance,

but she's not that terrible.

My lucky charm. My daughter-in-law.

Your mother-in-law is here.

What's going on?

She didn't say a word to me.

Did she get discharged?

You must be embarrassed.

I see how much she looks down on her in-laws.

I'm so sorry.

I didn't know you were the president. I made a mistake.

Mr. Ko's late sister must look a lot...

like my daughter.

Yes.

The resemblance is uncanny.

He firmly believes she's his sister.

I apologize.

But Eun Jo left us out of the blue.

I feel like she's alive somewhere,

and she'll show up again saying "Mom."

I still feel that way.

I wanted to see a similar face at least.

That's why I came.

I hope I didn't offend you.

I felt the same when I lost Ga Heun.

I completely understand.

There's something I heard of.

Was it doppelgangers?

There are some people who look alike.

I think she might be one.

How embarrassing.

I'm sorry.

I just miss her so much.

What did your daughter like?

My Eun Jo?

She loved steamed buns.

She also liked tonkatsu and japchae.

She just loved everything I made.

She'd stuff food in her cheeks...

and munch it.

She said my food is the best.

She used to tell me that.

Mr. Wang.

Yes, ma'am.

Where's the restaurant Mrs. Bae works at?

Do you want to drop by?

Yes.

You can't run away from your blood.

Oh, my. President Hwang.

What brings you here?

Look!

She came over to Bo Mi's because she's a friend of Eun Jo's.

Hello.

You seem happy today, Mr. Ko.

I'll take the best dish here to go.

Are you going to eat it with Eun Jo?

This is the most delicious.

Right. Eun Jo can't eat peanuts.

Take peanuts out, Mom.

No. Her daughter can eat peanuts.

You can take them out.

Okay.

I'll give you a big portion and make it delicious.

You're home now.

Come and have a seat.

What's this?

I thought you'd like it.

Try it.

Good. I was hungry. Thank you.

It's what mom's food tastes like.

How is it? Do you like it?

Ga Heun, why are you crying?

Because...

it's so delicious.

Ga Heun.

You can pretend to be Mr. Ko's sister.

It's okay.

This aroma will put you at ease.

It's good for fatigue too.

It smells good.

About the pills you gave me,

they were certainly amazing.

I took the pills...

and they made my heart palpitation go away.

It's hard to get them domestically.

I imported them just for you.

Really?

You went out of your way for me.

You saved me from my breathing problem too.

Dr. Choi, you're my lifesaver.

I wish I had a son like you.

If you don't mind, can I treat you like I'm your son?

I recently lost my dad.

How unfortunate that is.

I hope he rests in peace.

Now we're father and son.

Blood bonds us. No.

The pills have bonded us as father and son.

Thank you.

My heart went out to you from the moment I first met you.

Is that so?

Now that we're father and son, let me ask you.

You said you opened this clinic...

with the money you made by investment.

Don't you think...

you can frankly tell me, your father, your investment secrets?

I can't share that with anyone.

I'm not anyone.

I'm your father.

Isn't that true, Son?

Actually, I have someone special who's like an investment mentor.

She won't meet with anyone.

An investment mentor?

I understand.

By the way, how amazing is she?

Whatever she invests in, it's the jackpot.

She's called the Mighty Hand.

Mighty Hand?

Think of it as a big favor for me.

Can you let me meet her once?

They say you even honor dying wishes.

Actually, she does visit my clinic...

for attention therapy called focus care.

It clears her head before making an important investment.

Really?

When does she come?

Hwang Ji Na will produce a film?

Yes. She's only been investing, but this time, she's producing one.

The scenario isn't done yet.

But many film investment companies already seem to have given her an offer.

If she makes a film,

it will win movie awards overseas...

and undoubtedly be a big hit.

When will the scenario be finished?

It will be done soon.

It will be only given to rising directors.

Use everything at our disposal...

and get the scenario.

Yes, ma'am.

If it goes well,

Ha Ra could turn her crisis into an opportunity.

She'll be here soon.

Her nickname is Mighty Hand.

I'm so nervous.

What do I do?

I thought I had a copy. What should I do?

I'm nothing without Eun Jo's designs.

I can't do anything.

"You're invited to a live fashion show"?

"Dongdaemun Queen"?

("Female Detective X")

Is the film made with this scenario really produced by President Hwang?

Yes.

All the films she's been involved in...

won every movie award overseas.

You'll play the leading role.

I will make sure to give that role to you.

My dad's everything.

Dongdaemun Queen's everything.

Ko Eun Jo's everything.

I'll go retrieve them now.

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

It starts from 1,000 dollars.

It will be auctioned?

It's 7,000 dollars?

She's Madam Black.

Don't touch me.

Madam!

We're not on the same team. We're enemies.

Why are you doing this to me?

It's the voice message he sent on the day I died.

You want Ga Heun as our daughter-in-law?

Chief Hwang, I won't make you regret choosing me.

Ko Eun Gyul.

Do you remember me now?
