A group of Colorado volunteers
known as the Bloodless Third...

American flag and a white flag of peace.

and he kept calling out
not to be frightened.

They'd been promised protection,
and there was no danger.

Now, two thirds of these Indians
were women and children.

It was total chaos.

Blood froze instantly
