[Episode 22]

Master, can we eat here?

The food here is delicious.

Kind young master and pretty young lady,

please give me something to eat.

Please.

Thank you, young master. Thank you.

I

wish you two live in harmony till old and grey and have cute kids.

Don't talk nonsense!

Here you are.

Birds of the same kind indeed live together.

Ah Xiang,

didn't you say that

all who do good are great fools?

Who influences you?

You are not a good guy.

Master, let's go.

Sorry, Brother Zhou,

Ah Xiang

is tough in words but kind in heart.

Master Zhou, don't make fun of her.

Brother Cao, you

and Sister Gu Xiang,

don't be happy so early.

Look, your Uncle Wen

is so serious.

Master Cao,

Miss, look at this flowery umbrella.

[Penglai Inn]

Yummy.

Why are you still hanging out with this idiot?

Aren't you still hanging out with those two idiots?

Master Cao, judging from your face,

you seem to be hurt.

No, no, no. Just call me Wei Ning.

I was hurt by Tao Hong and Liu Lv's concealed weapon before,

and the residual poison is still in my body.

Fortunately, Ah Xiang carefully takes care of me,

so I am alright now.

I just need to go back to Mount Qingfeng

and clear the residual poison.

Gu Xiang,

knowing you for such a long time,

how come I didn't know you

had the skill to take good care of people?

Lao Wen,

come on, get your hands out.

Hurry up.

Master Wen is well versed in medical skills.

I'll try to help.

Tao Hong and Liu Lv are both good and evil.

Brother Wei Ning,

what happened?

The two old monsters broke into the Yueyang Sect,

and took Gao Xiao Lian away.

It was the day of the Heroes Conference.

A lot of things happened.

You didn't know.

I don't know how Sister Xiao Lian is now.

I heard that she is missing.

Uncle Zhao and Uncle Shen,

didn't they look for her?

Relax,

as long as they don't get the Glazed Armor,

Miss Gao is fine.

Cheng Ling,

Gao Xiao Lian almost became your wife.

You won't leave her alone, right?

Sister Xiang,

why are you blushing?

Deng Kuan is gone,

so no one is going to take him away.

Deng Kuan?

The disciple of Gao Chong?

Yes, I told you before.

Deng Kuan

had a marriage engagement with Sister Xiao Lian originally.

But then Chevalier Goldbean appeared

and took her away.

Sister Xiang,

you mean he's gone？

He disappeared since the day of the Heroes Conference,

so he might be dead.

It's going to take some work to clear your toxic residue.

Ah Xu, go with me to the herbal medicine shop.

Don't bother.

-Sit down. -Just give me the prescription.

Ah Xiang.

It's ok.

You will understand gradually

how to get along with them.

Ah Xu,

we are thinking about the same thing.

Deng Kuan was the guy

to identify the collusion between Gao Chong and the Ghost Valley at the Martial Arts Conference.

At first,

I thought he was just an ordinary disciple.

But unexpectedly,

he was engaged to Gao Chong's only daughter.

So he will inherit Gao Chong's wealth in the future,

and also the position of martial artists world's chief.

I can't figure out

the one behind him

using what kind of bribes

to subvert him.

Maybe we are wrong.

He might tell the truth.

He really wants to place righteousness above family loyalty.

No way.

Now that Cheng Ling had handed over the Glazed Armor,

he is useless to Gao Chong.

He wouldn't use such a big chip as his only daughter

to woo an orphan.

He has since announced this at the Martial Arts Conference,

he can't go back on his words.

It's quite easy to go back.

After buying people over,

if Cheng Ling is dead,

Gao Xiao Lian won't marry a tablet.

Masters, judging from your outfits,

you must be rich.

please give me something to eat.

I am starving.

The beggar

is so foolish.

You found the wrong guy to cheat.

Don't you know he

does the similar job like you?

Chevalier Shen,

how are you?

Watch out.

Ah Xiang, have another piece.

Sister Xiang,

are you going to the Gentle Wind Sword Sect?

I am going back to the Four Seasons Manor with my master Uncle Wen.

Where is your hometown?

Hey, Chevalier Goldbean,

you have no right to ask here.

Just answer when I ask.

Listen.

When I was not here,

where did you go and what did you do?

Answer me.

That's a lot to say.

What?

Young Master Zhang, are you busy?

Ah Xiang,

before Master comes back,

we can only stare at each other.

Answer me. I am listening.

-I didn't go to the Heroes Conference. -I'm coming.

Wait,

we haven't ordered yet.

What's this?

Free side dish from the store.

Really?

You don't believe it,

then I'll open it.

Who are they?

Take him away. Hurry up.

I won't leave you alone.

If he dies, Master will kill me.

No one can leave here.

Watch out, Ah Xiang.

Four for the left. Seven for the right.

Two and four for the shoulder.

Six and eight for the foot.

Idiot,

you've improved a lot.

Continue your Swift Moving Steps,

and don't get caught by them.

-Watch out. -Watch out.

Are you stupid? Why are you going inside?

It's not my intention.

Master told me so.

Who asked you to help?

You are not good. It's unhelpful.

Leader Shen，

It's a scorpion's tail thorn. It's poisonous.

If you trust me,

take this medicine internally and externally.

If you don't, it's ok.

Thank you.

At the Heroes Conference, you two

helped my big brother

and saved my nephew.

That's a lot to me.

And now I got your medicine.

I will definitely requite the favor one day.

It's rare.

You still remember the big brother Gao Chong.

Lao Wen,

he was once my big brother,

he will always be my big brother.

Master Wen.

Master Zhou, where is my nephew Cheng Ling?

He is around here.

The Scorpion Assassins are so ruthless

that they might be in danger, too.

Let's have a look without further ado.

Murder!

Run!

[Penglai Inn]

Murderer!

Elderly, move.

Please don't kill me. Please.

Please don't kill me. Please.

Help, young man.

Ah Xiang,

he is just an old beggar.

Why did you kill him?

So what?

Over there.

Let's go.

Go.

-Master. -Master.

Here.

Master.

Lao Wen, don't kill all.

It's too late.

Cheng Ling.

Silly girl, I was the one to kill.

Why are you covered in blood?

It's someone else's.

Cheng Ling.

Uncle Shen, why are you here?

It's a long story.

Wei Ning,

how did you get together?

Master Shen,

it's also a long story.

Come on.

Don't be so sentimental.

Ah Xiang, why are you so angry?

Go. Just go.

Go. Go.

Answer my question.

Is it wrong of me to kill the beggar?

If I didn't kill him,

he would kill me.

But he may not.

He may not kill you.

But what if he does?

Chevalier Cao, I am not like you

always having masters

and senior

around you.

Where I grew up,

people always kill each other.

Even if there's a one in 100 chance,

I'd better kill the wrong guy than let him go.

If it is not so,

I wouldn't be alive today.

Ah Xiang, I'm not blaming you.

I don't think you did it wrong.

I am just afraid that if that old beggar

is a normal person,

you will feel sorry to kill the wrong guy.

Bullshit.

I'm not hypocritical like you.

There is nothing for me to feel sorry for.

If he is the wrong guy, that's ok.

Ah Xiang, you will definitely be sorry.

You will.

You are a good person.

How can you not be sad, right?

How do you know that?

Ah Xiang, I know you best.

You never told me

about your childhood.

You mentioned where you grew up just now.

Ah Xiang, why is the place you grew up

so difficult?

You know nothing.

Ah Xiang.

Cheng Ling, since you came to the Five Lakes Alliance,

I haven't treated you well.

Are you mad at me?

No,

if you are mad at me, I won't blame you.

It's useless for me to explain now.

But I still want you to know

that I don't hate you.

It's just that when your brothers were young,

there was a deep friendship between our five brothers.

I held and played with your brothers.

Every time I see you,

I always think about them.

I kinda wish

they were still alive.

There's nothing wrong with that.

If God would let me

die for my brothers,

I will be very grateful.

But I, the most useless one, survived.

Cheng Ling, sit down.

Do you know that

you look like your father the most?

Similar appearance and personality.

Your father is really pure and filial.

Among our five brothers,

he is the kindest and the most honest.

Really?

Dad is not as stupid as I am, right?

He is such a chevalier.

They say I'm weak

and will never make it big.

No, like father like son.

Master.

Cheng Ling, when did you learn from Master Zhou?

Master Zhou,

thanks for helping my nephew again and again.

You are a major benefactor to the Five Lakes Alliance.

I really don't know how to thank you.

No need to thank me.

You just need to answer a few questions.

Why did you say this?

You have some questions.

Of course I can tell you all I know.

Cheng Ling, you go first.

Okay.

Uncle Shen, let's make a deal first

you can choose to answer the question or not.

But don't lie to me.

Among my father and you,

there seems to be some mistake.

Senior Deng Kuan said Uncle Gao united the Ghost Valley

to murder my father.

What the hell is going on?

Kid, I swear to God.

Your Uncle Gao would die himself

rather than hurting your father.

No matter what kind of misunderstanding is among us,

Uncle Gao loves your father the most.

You know.

He wants you to marry Xiao Lian，

so that you will be a master of both martial arts,

revive the Mirror Lake Sword Sect，

and become a great chevalier.

Then naturally

you will be the chief of the Five Lakes Alliance.

But I don't want these.

Leader Shen,

do you know Deng Kuan?

I know him since he was young.

At the Heroes Conference,

is Deng Kuan's accusation against his master

true?

No, it's not.

Hearts lie between bellies.

How do you know that?

Twenty years ago,

my big brother suggested that we should destroy the Glazed Armor

or expose everything to the public

to accept the sanction of the public.

The rest of us were up in arms.

What's more,

if my big brother wants to rob my third brother Lu Tai Chong

and fourth brother Zhang Yu Sen's Glazed Armor,

there is no need for him to endure for so many years.

And I, if he asks,

I will give the Glazed Armor

to him.

As for my second brother, he is weak.

Leader Shen,

I have another question.

It's said that

the water from the Five Lakes gathers around the World;

who else deserves the supremacy in the martial arts world?

Everyone thought it was Chief Gao

who spread it

to seize the position of the chief of the martial arts world,

My big brother didn't do it.

Although he is a man of few words,

he values brotherhood

more than anything.

The only thing that transcends brotherhood

is the prestige of the Five Lakes Alliance.

Have you figured out that

for what reason Deng Kuan

had to frame his master?

These days

I am also confused.

For a person like Kuan,

he would die a thousand times himself

than hurt

and do harm to my big brother.

I really don't know what he was influenced by

to hit his benefactor so badly.

Cheng Ling, stay with Lead Shen.

I'll go and see your Uncle Wen.

Master Zhou, I also have a question.

Can you answer it?

I found Master Wen looks like

an old friend of ours.

Master Wen.

Is his surname Zhen?

Leader Shen？

I don't think it's necessary for me to answer your question.

That's right,

but that friend…

Leader Shen is still wounded.

Have a good rest first.

Don't try to scare me.

What's in your mind?

I've got it figured out.

What?

For Deng Kuan's actions,

there may be another possibility.

Do you remember

the weirdo who regards disgusting drug men

as his kids?

The method to control drug men

might be related to the legendary soul-hunting poison.

Yes, we've seen them in the Coffin Home,

the Scorpion Gang and the Longyuan Valley.

They are there.

The drug men in the Coffin Home are also driven by Long-tongued Ghost.

Scorpion is often seen in these strange things.

Ah Xu, during your stay in the Window of Heaven,

have you ever seen the boss of Scorpion?

He is quite mysterious,

so he never shows up.

Shen Shen doesn't seem to be a fake,

then Zhao Xuan De, who pretends to be stupid to kill more powerful opponents,

is the real boss.

This could happen.

But there are still a few tricks

that I can't figure out.

And there's another thing.

What is it?

Now it's not one thing.

There are two things.

The first one.

If the Scorpion boss is Zhao Jing,

then the one who used Sanshi poison on Gao Chong's sword

to kill Rong Xuan and his wife indirectly

Was Zhao Jing.

So what is the second?

Who is Long-tongued Ghost？

Is it the man

who used the Soul Winding Box to drive the drug men in the Coffin Home?

Long-tongued Ghost,

I only know that he is one of the Ten Devils.

Yes, he is the man of Hanged Ghost.

Hanged Ghost later advanced in martial arts,

and then gave him the Soul Winding Box.

The killing of the Mirror Lake Sect

was led by him.

I see.

You are really well-informed, Lao Wen.

Brother Wen, call me if you need more water.

I can take care of my master.

It's none of your business.

I just wanna…

Don't flatter my master.

Go, go, go.

Ah Xiang.

Go. Fast.

Ah Xiang.

Master, hot water is ready.

Let me know if you need something.

[I almost spilled the beans just now.]

[The secret of my long acquaintance with the Long-tongued Ghost is almost revealed.]

[Luckily, Ah Xu didn't seem to notice.]

[If he knows who I am,]

[we will not go the same way.]

Scorpion, I have good news and bad news.

Don't keep us guessing.

The good news is

that the spies I sent to the Longyuan Cabinet

found Zhang Cheng Ling by accident.

He was sure with the master of the Window of Heaven

and the leader of evil ghosts.

But it's weird

that the descendant of the Sword Immortal was there, too.

What about the bad news?

Long Que and Long Xiao are dead.

I thought it would be something important.

The reason why I kept Long Que alive

is some kind of preparation.

But now all the damned people are dead,

this shield is dispensable.

Long Xiao is dead.

This is such a great pleasure,

which saves a lot of my energy.

But once he died, the key to the Armory would…

How can you believe my words of cheating Long Xiao?

In fact, for the last 20 years,

the key to the Armory

is kept somewhere dangerous

while safe.

It's in the Ghost Valley.

This is why Father

always wants to exterminate the Ghost Valley.

Scorpion, you know what is interlocking?

The Mirror Lake Sword Sect was exterminated, the Sanbai Manor was stolen,

and Ao Lai Zi was murdered.

I arranged all these

to let people know

that the Ghost Valley took the Glazed Armor away.

But plans can't keep up with changes.

The one who made the fake Glazed Armor

disrupted all your plans.

But luckily,

I don't need to frame Gao Chong until it's done

to make him a born loser,

and die of a broken reputation.

Father,

why do you hate Gao Chong so much?

Scorpion, why do you ask me this?

Just curious.

Are you really just curious?

Yes.

Then why aren't you curious

that as sworn brothers,

some people are above others,

being domineers,

while some are underprivileged

and undignified?

Why aren't you curious

that some can be leaders,

controlling others,

while some can only work for them

and stoop to compromise.

Do you think I am

such a selfish guy?

I killed Gao Chong just for personal gain?

Listen,

only under my guidance

would the Five Lakes Alliance carry forward

and be powerful.

Father, sorry,

I am wrong.

Don't be mad at me.

Is this the only thing you can do?

I heard

that Zhang Cheng Ling was found.

Then?

Those men are good at martial arts

and very mysterious.

Spies did not dare to follow too close.

But as he sent me the message by pigeons，

he drew near all the hidden spies.

They are following those men

for the further movements.

The three men are very excellent.

Common Scorpions

can't beat them.

If you say yes,

I'll set off at once.

Don't forget

that Wen and Zhou

both escaped unscathed from you.

I just held back.

Fine, I've got my plan.

Scorpion,

when are you gonna be smarter?

Grow up fast!

Zhou, Zhou, Zhou Xu,

it's the midnight,

what are you doing here?

You scared the hell out of me!

You have a guilty conscience.

What are you afraid of?

At night,

why are you awake again?

On such a starry night,

for whom do you stand here?

Don't be so bookish.

I really don't know

what's good about the liqueur.

Bitter and astringent.

Don't spoil the good stuff if you don't drink.

Master often drinks when he is unhappy.

I thought it was something amazing,

but there was nothing it could do.

Listen,

Liqueur is also called the delighted medicine.

If a bottle of liqueur can't relieve your sorrow,

two bottles can.

If that doesn't work either, try three or four bottles.

It's a pity that we are in the wilderness,

this is the only one left.

What? You are unhappy again.

Did that Young Master Cao piss you off again?

If he dares to, I'll castrate him.

A little girl

with a good appearance as you,

why do you always speak vulgar language?

Lao Wen said he raised you up.

I can see that now.

Sick Dude, you are up at midnight.

What happened? You are sick again?

Yeah.

I heard from my master

that you are not gonna live for long.

You messed it up yourself.

Really?

Damn it!

Why don't you stay healthy?

If you die,

Master will be very sad.

I

have never seen him so sad as he was that day.

He has finally got himself a friend.

You have to live.

If you die suddenly

and leave my master to grieve alone,

I'll revive you

and then kill you again.

If you weren't a girl,

I would hit you eight times a day.

You're always bullshitting,

which reminds me of someone.

Who?

An eavesdropper.

Little girl,

What are you babbling?

Master, here.

What are you doing?

Don't pull my ear. I've grown-up. Don't.

Grown up? How old are you?

Even if you are married

and become a mother,

I can pull your ears at my will.

Liqueur.

There isn't any more liqueur. Why did you give it to me?

This place looks like an old cellar.

Get me some liqueur.

Hurry up.

Go!

Master Wen.

Brat, you told him.

No, I didn't.

He asked me if my surname was Zhen.

I just said I wouldn't tell you.

Uncle Shen guessed it right.

Idiot.

Calm down, Lao Wen.

Master Wen, are you Yan?

Yan, how are your parents?

A man with his hamstrings all torn,

without the protection of his master,

had to bear the oppression from the good of the world of martial arts

but also to avoid the revenge from the evil.

Under the dual attack of the good and evil,

he still stuck to his brotherhood

and covered for his so-called brothers.

How well do you think he could be?

Sorry.

It's too late.

They can't hear your apologies anymore.

Lao Wen.

What?

Yan.

Don't call me. You don't deserve to talk to me.

Wen Ke Xing,

why are you helping him?

I am helping you.

Too late.

They're all dead,

together with Zhen Yan.

Ah Xu.

Yan, how did your parents die?

Too late.

Too late.

Lao Wen.

Come.

Lao Wen.

Sorry.

[Li Mansion]

Master, how is Master Wen?

Don't wrong. There is nothing abnormal in his pulse.

He is just unconscious for some reason.

Master Zhou,

you mean Yan is sick?

Leader Shen, my junior's name is Wen Ke Xing.

He chooses this name.

Please respect his choice.

Call him by this name.

When did he become your junior?

Your master is?

He is the leader of the Four Seasons Manor.

His surname is Qin and his name is Huai Zhang.

Brother Qin saved Yan.

Ke Xing.

Great, great.

God knows.

If Brother knew that Ke Xing

was raised up by Brother Qin all these years,

he would be very happy.

So

you are friends of my master,

but why have I never heard of it before?

It's no wonder,

Since the battle in Mount Qingya,

Brother Qin has

terminated our contact.

So all these years,

we don't know Ru Yu's son

is in the Four Seasons Manor.

This is something weird.

Master always values friends.

How could he break off relations with you for no reason?

Is there some misunderstanding?

It's not a misunderstanding exactly speaking.

Your master hates us

for some reason.

But it's a long story.

If so,

I dare not hear the fault of my master.

Leader Shen, you don't need to say more.

He blamed us for before the big deal,

we didn't hold the bottom line

and committed disloyalty and injustice.

He is right.

He is right.

I am the coward.

I am the guy who did the wrong thing.

I have no stand to stand up for myself.

I, Shen Shen,

is an unfaithful, incompetent

and weak coward.

It's you.

You poisoned Uncle Rong.

What did you say?

My disciple asked

that is it true that Leader Shen used poison on Gao Chong's sword

to murder Rong Xuan indirectly.

I just turned a blind eye to Brother Rong's death and Ru Yu's suffer,

saying nothing about this. I am the worst.

It's true.

But if you accuse me of slaying my brother,

it wouldn't happen definitely.

Besides, because of this grievance,

my big brother rued the day.

If I knew who did it,

I'd kill him even if it cost me my life.

You don't know it.

Who is the current leader of the Five Lakes Alliance?

You said…

You said it's Chevalier Zhao.

Get this straight for me!

You said the one to poison was my second brother.

Who told you?

It's Yan.

Does he have any evidence?

Wake him up and explain it to me.

No.

If my brother wakes up

and is willing to talk to you,

of course I won't stand in the way.

No, I have to make it clear to him.

Leader Shen, with all due respect,

you watched Rong Xuan die before.

Human nature is evil. I dare not to force you.

As long as you five brothers keep a little kindness,

my junior wouldn't suffer for the rest of his life.

He was even badly wounded on Mount Qingya,

unable to spare any time for other things.

You don't need to explain to me.

At midnight

if you can convince your conscience…

Karma works every time.

You guys went to a bad end.

It's the past.

Ashes to ashes.

I don't want my junior

to suffer from the past hatred.

Leader Shen, please leave here.

You can shut your eyes and ears from now on

or do evil.

I just hope my junior won't trouble you.

Never see you again

Cheng Ling,

send him out.

Yes.
