[Episode 19]

Is that my fault

that your wife died in childbirth?

If you hate me,

just kill me early on

to avenge your wife's death.

Since you decided to raise me,

why leave me to grow up with disability?

Even you already knew that the Yin Yang Book can raise the dead,

and reverse Yin and Yang,

and you also knew it is in the armory,

but you never speak even a word about it,

just sit by and watch me being a wreck for over a decade!

I've told you a hundred times, but you never trusted me,

what can I do?

Healers care about patients like parents do to children.

If that Yin Yang Book really has such miraculous effect,

why did the Healer Valley keep it a secret?

All bullshit!

That's just an excuse,

you even didn't try it!

You can move the Longyuan Cabinet for your dead wife.

You can bear all these years of suffering

for your so-called good friends,

but just cannot open that armory

for your living son!

Sorry for this.

It's my sin that I didn't teach him well,

I deserve all of this.

Do you know Yue Feng Er from the Healer Valley?

Senior Ye,

Do you mean

the senior of the Three Heroes of the Healer Valley,

the Fairy Ganoderma Yue Feng Er?

If without the Three Heroes of the Healer Valley's help,

Yu Zhui might not say yes to marry me.

Yue Feng Er,

is she the wife of Rong Xuan?

Yes.

A figure like her,

only my Brother Rong can be a good match.

So what exactly happened

between Rong Xuan and his wife?

You know it, right?

Yes.

Master Long, I have a question,

can you help me solve that?

Zi Shu, who is he,

your friend?

Uncle Long,

he is my close friend.

His name is Wen Ke Xing.

Lao Wen regards his father with hatred.

The situation is not clear yet,

should I reveal his identity?

You've eventually got a friend,

that's great.

Long Xiao said at the Heroes Conference

that Gao Chong once forced and used you

to open the armory for him.

Is that true?

Where did you hear that?

It was twenty years ago

when I saw him the last time.

Besides, Glazed Armor is in their hands.

It's no use asking me to open that armory.

Long Xiao also said,

twenty years ago,

Rong Xuan once deceived you into building up the armory for him.

Is that true?

Deceived me?

Kid,

don't trust him even a single word.

I helped Brother Rong

reconstruct the armory willingly.

Uncle Long,

twenty years ago,

about the origin of the armory,

it seems there are many false rumors in the martial arts world.

Can you tell us the whole story?

Why did Senior Rong Xuan insist in constructing the armory?

And what happened around this armory?

If you are curious about that,

I'll tell you now.

But, where to start?

It was your master Qin Huai Zhang

who knew Brother Rong first.

Thanks to the serendipity,

we got to know each other later on.

Together, we practiced chivalry and justice and cracked down on evil forces,

that was really a free and happy time.

It was all because of your master

and Brother Rong,

that I, a nerd

could enjoy such a good time.

A gang of us, a beam of light,

how wonderful that time was?

What good had I done

that I could be one of them?

Uncle Long, in the armory of Senior Rong...

Zi Shu,

Though

Brother Rong was the rock of us,

the armory isn't his.

We built for him together.

The five brothers of Five Lakes Alliance that you've just said,

was my father included in it?

Who is your father?

My father is the Chevalier of Mirror Lake, Zhang Yu Sen.

What? You are Yu Sen's son?

Good boy, come and let me see.

Never thought that a goon like Yu Sen

could have such a handsome boy.

You must take after your mother.

How is your father?

He's gone.

Uncle Long,

it's a long story.

Master Zhang died protecting the Glazed Armor.

Leader Lu Tai Chong,

Chief Gao Chong,

all died because of the Glazed Armor.

The Ghosts of Mount Qingya have engaged in the land of the living,

bringing a bloody storm again.

Panic and vendetta have flooded this martial arts world.

All of these

are all for the two words, Glazed Armor.

But scrambling for it will only end up in vain.

Glazed Armor is merely a lock.

Without Brother Rong's key,

what's the point of having the lock?

Key.

Do you have Rong Xuan's key?

No.

No.

That's it,

you don't believe me, neither do they.

I can do nothing for it.

Zhui Yu's gone anyhow,

I have no desire to see people outside now.

Well, it's enough.

Where's the key?

I know but I won't tell you.

I've sworn, I can't tell anyone.

You have to tell me now.

If not?

My son killed my disciples and servants

just right before my eyes.

My severed legs were also to his credit.

What else can you do to me？

Senior Ye, Chevalier Ye,

please do not be tough on this old man.

He...

Shut up.

I need to figure out

what on earth happened?

You built the armory together, then?

How could he go crazy as everything was right?

Did any one of you do him any harm?

Old monster,

he doesn't want to say, why are you keeping asking?

You tell me now.

What's the matter with you?

Are you crazy?

I'm fed up with you,

and just want to punch you up now!

After going through all the hardship, now the truth is coming,

what are you crazy about at this moment?

Do you know what is coming in high spirits

and returning after enjoying?

I just regretted it, I don't want to know the truth now.

Enough, stop fighting.

Wen Ke Xing, enough.

I must make it clear the cause of Rong Xuan's death,

he is my disciple.

Your disciple?

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

Mountain Closing Sword.

Two Heroes of the Healer Valley,

Leader of the Five Lakes Alliance,

Senior Gao,

I finally got you all together.

You belittled me, crowded me out,

and bossed me around like a puppet.

Have you ever thought

that one day

it's me who worship you.

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet] The idea of the armory is total bullshit.

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

Just because of your whim,

I had to shed my blood with you.

But you, a wild bastard，

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet] you have nothing to care about,

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

so you dare to offend the world of martial arts.

But how about us?

I've struggled for most of my life

to become chief of Tai Lake Sect

from just a poor guy.

But only because of you,

all of my efforts nearly vanished in smoke.

You kept the Combined Six Cultivation Power in hand,

and didn't let us practice

as you failed to master it.

Well.

Then let's not practice altogether.

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

You were the cloud and I was the mud in those days,

you were right about everything,

I was wrong in doing anything.

But now?

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet] You are just a tablet,

[Rong Xuan's memorial tablet]

yet I'm still standing here livingly.

Senior Gao,

if you still have your soul in heaven,

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet] you'll regret after seeing all of this, won't you?

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

I've persuaded you before,

but you never listened to me.

You acted madly with Rong Xuan,

and trusted that dumb Shen Shen instead.

Why were you determined to cling to the power?

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet] What you get here today,

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

it's in many ways your own creation.

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

The only thing that I regret badly,

is that I didn't let you see all of this when you were alive.

[Gao Chong's memorial tablet]

I just want all people to see,

only me, Zhao Jing, is the dragon among men.

Only me, Zhao Jing,

who can carry forward the Five Lakes Alliance.

Mountain Closing Swordsmanship.

You really are his master,

you are Ye...

Ye Bai Yi.

You are still alive!

Is that Combined Six Cultivation Power?

Combined Six Cultivation Power， the crippled master.

It really exists.

Immortality,

nature and man in one.

Senior, your Combined Six Cultivation Method

is still well-kept in the armory.

The dead are gone.

Brother Rong was ignorant then and did things wrong,

he felt guilty and full of remorse.

Guilty and remorse.

Foolishness!

Brother Rong told his wife,

let her find a way to send the key of Glazed Armor

to the master of Mount Changming,

tell the Senior what happened,

kowtow and apologize to the Senior for him.

Yet things went out of expectation.

And then?

What happened next?

Zi Shu, any alcohol?

Senior.

No sun and moon here in the mountain.

I have no idea,

how long ago I've drunk it the last time.

Long, stop that nonsense.

Just come back to the point.

Senior Ye, that's not nonsense.

God let me live up to now,

as he wants me to reveal the truth.

Nice one!

The Yellow River comes from the sky，

rushing into the sea and never come back.

Do you not see,

do you not see the mirrors bright in chambers high,

grieve over your snow-white hair though once it was silk-black?

I invite you to wine. Do not put down your cup！

Great.

Great.

Ah Shen, what are you doing?

[Shen Shen]

[Shen Shen] Sister Yue, forgive me.

[Shen Shen]

[Zhen Ru Yu]

[Zhen Ru Yu] Senior, let him go.

[Yue Feng Er]

[Yue Feng Er] Right.

[Yue Feng Er]

Ah Shen, you are so naughty.

Why have to throw this wine cup?

There is a saying in the martial arts world,

the two beauties in the Healer Valley

are the incarnation of all the valley's aura and enchantment.

[Gu Miao Miao]

So Brother Zhen Er,

[Long Que][Qin Huai Zhang]

you are the one

absorbing all the foolishness and filthiness left.

[Zhang Yu Sen]

Ah Shen,

[Rong Xuan]

Ru Yu is speaking for you, don't tease him.

Brother Rong, am I wrong?

Not wrong,

that's just a custom

in the martial arts world.

The martial arts world.

[Zhao Jing]

[Zhao Jing] That's interesting.

[Zhao Jing]

Ah Jing,

what're you doing? Come and drink.

Ah Jing,

Come and drink.

Come now.

Come here, Ah Jing.

Don't hang about, come right now.

Which dumbass gave himself away when stealing books from Mount Tai?

No... no one saw me.

[Gao Chong]

[Gao Chong] No one saw you.

[Gao Chong]

[Gao Chong] The Mount Tai Elder has come to father

[Gao Chong]

for a claim.

Father has let all disciples of Five Lakes Alliance fitting the description

go to the Mount Tai Sect for investigation.

Ah Jing,

You just can't do anything right!

You crap!

Ah Chong,

Sit.

Don't worry, let's give the matter further thought.

If the cat is out of the bag,

I'll offer my apology to the Chief.

I won't get you involved.

Calm down.

You can't plead guilty,

put aside being expelled from master's homegate.

What if the master takes away your martial arts?

Big Brother.

Big Brother.

Just do something about it!

Ah Jing,

now we cannot even scold you?

Shouldn't you be scolded?

One should answer for what he does.

The World's Armory is my idea,

it's me who should take the responsibility.

Don't panic.

Take it easy.

The sky wouldn't fall down as the taller will withstand it.

Brother Rong,

he's lighted a fire in our hearts,

burning every one of us into a devil.

He always talked about the sectarian bias,

or the rule of the martial arts world.

All formalities!

The real martial artists should act openly and honestly.

In those days,

we were committed to collecting the world’s best Unique Books.

Stupid!

Unique Books are written by humans.

To fight over a Secret Book written by someone else,

do you think that they've got two brains,

or you've lost your mind?

Learn whatever you are taught,

you are really the same as the monkey trained by the jongleur.

And even died for this eventually.

Luckily, that little brat turned his back on himself.

Otherwise, I would go die

if I've taught such a stupid disciple.

Old Monster, shut up.

Senior, if you keep interrupting,

when could Uncle Long come to the point?

Senior Ye has his own reason.

Zi Shu,

your master expostulated us

almost in the same way.

My master,

he's been through so much trouble to determine the site of the armory.

We changed a few places,

none of which were satisfactory.

Finally, it was your master

who told us about the underground palace of the former dynasty.

It was transformed by me.

So Uncle Long,

You made the Glazed Armor lock?

No.

When your master and his friends traveled around,

they got the Glazed Armor lock and its key.

Both are made with ingenuity.

Huai Zhang has laboured a lot to gather them together.

Though, when he opened the palace,

he found nothing in it.

So he gave it to us,

and that's where the armory originating from.

You back to the point,

how did Rong Xuan die?

His death has puzzled me

for years.

I really don't know

who is to blame for Brother Rong's tragedy.

Well, just one round.

If you lose,

stop talking to me about that again.

Brother Rong, if you lose,

you can't regret it.

Pardon me, Brother Rong.

Brother Rong, you're really gonna challenge five at one time?

It's too much.

It's time-saving for me.

If you five lose this battle,

I dare you not to argue

for practicing the martial art which even I can't master.

Cut the cackle!

Form the sword array!

Sorry, Brother Rong.

Ah Chong, great job, hard enough.

Brother Rong, enough, swords have no eyes.

just a flesh wound, come on.

You see,

they are into it.

Admit defeat or not?

I've told you that you're not enough to be my opponents.

Brother Rong, I admit it, I admire you,

sincerely and heartily.

Brother Rong.

My dear.

Brother Rong.

-Brother Rong. -My dear.

-Brother Rong. -My dear.

-Brother Rong. -My dear.

My dear.

Triplex corpses poison.

What?

How come the triplex corpses poison appeared here?

What?

Who?

Who is it?

Who?

Who hurt my dear?

Gao Chong,

You?

Why did you harm my dear?

I didn't do anything.

My dear's blood is on your sword.

What nonsense, not me.

Senior Gao,

Why?

Why did you kill him?

Senior Gao,

It's not me!

It's not me!

Why would I do this?

Master Long.

So they really just competed,

not tried to kill each other.

We were in deep friendship then,

why would we kill each other?

Was Gao Chong the one poisoning him?

To this,

I've asked myself thousand times.

But I believe him,

he wouldn't hurt Brother Rong at any rate.

He had no reason to kill him.

Uncle Long, please excuse me for being blunt,

Gao Chong did have the reason for poisoning him.

He longed for the Combined Six Cultivation Method for a long time,

but no one has got it.

After Brother Rong being poisoned,

his wife drove all five of them out

as she hated them.

The armory could only be opened by all six of them.

Six of them?

Right, five of them kept part of the Glazed Armor respectively.

Brother Rong kept the key himself.

Since they split up,

the armory has never been opened again.

And the Combined Six Cultivation Method

was also remained in the armory from then.

Even put aside their close friendship,

why did Gao Chong have to harm others?

If not him, then who?

Lao Wen,

is there anything wrong?

Lao Wen.

Triplex corpses poison can just turn people into walking corpses.

Then who made him go crazy later?

Just say it out,

even it's the King of Heaven, or the Jade Emperor,

I will not spare him.

If you really want to find an answer, it's Lady Rong.

How could it be?

My father once told me,

Lady Rong is a very nice person.

They are a very affectionate couple.

Yes, that's the reason.

For saving her loved one,

Lady Rong finally decided to use the Forbidden Technique.

That's an act against the God's will which'll be definitely bound to cause disaster.

The Yin Yang Book.

Its miraculous power can even save the one

with poison running into the heart.

Then how about those with wilted meridians?

He always bears in mind.

If that Yin Yang Book really has such miraculous effect,

then why did the Healer Valley not use it to save lives?

But instead, they banned it as a Forbidden Technique.

The so-called raising the dead, reversing Yin and Yang,

can only become true abiding the law of life-for-life.

If you wanna save one's meridians,

you have to take a heart out

from another living man.

Who knows that Brother Rong was increasingly insane later.

He killed his wife by mistake.

Impossible!

Rong Xuan killed his own wife.

If Brother Rong had not made such a great mistake,

losing his last shred of sanity in over-remorse,

he wouldn't completely go in an evil way,

and be chased by the world's heroes.

How about Yue Feng Er's juniors?

Why didn't they stop them?

The Yin Yang Book is the Forbidden Technique of the Healer Valley.

Since Lady Rong used it privately,

she couldn't come back to the Healer Valley for the rest of her life.

So the Divine Hand couple came back to the Healer Valley for her

to seek the antidote.

The key of the armory was then

returned to the Healer Valley by the Zhen couple.

It's only God's game.

When the tragedy passed to the ear of Ru Yu,

the battle of Mount Qingya was only a few days away.

He galloped and whipped for day and night,

only could catch up...

[Mount Qingya]

Who’s there?

Come on!

Come.

Wait.

I'll kill you.

Kill you!

Big Brother,

Brother Rong.

-No. -Brother Rong!

Big Brother,

No, no, no.

Brothers.

What're you doing? Why protect him? Go away!

I'm Zhen Ru Yu from the Healer Valley,

I know you all more or less.

The Healer Valley has saved lives for decades,

I believe we've made lots of good affinities.

Your family and friends

have also received the favor from the Healer Valley and me.

So, for my sake,

please listen to me for just one word.

It's better to get rid of an enmity than keep it alive.

There must be something wrong about Brother Rong going crazy,

it's not in his nature.

Such a big talk.

Why should we believe you?

Please be quiet, everyone.

The wrong is gone.

An eye for an eye approach can only stoke deeper hatred.

I'm willing to spend the rest of my life

in cleaning Brother Rong's sin.

If he killed anyone from any Sect,

I definitely will pay back with saving others' lives.

I will take Brother Rong back to the Healer Valley for rest-cure,

and won't let him stir up trouble again.

About the battle in Mount Qingya,

in the name of hunting the demon,

they hunted down Rong Xuan.

But actually, they did it for the key to the armory.

Unexpectedly they gained nothing due to the death of Senior Rong,

so they turned to target at Senior Zhen

and fell out with the Healer Valley

to compel Senior Zhen.

There was no trade-off between loyalty and rightness.

Brother Zhen would rather die than blow the gab.

These so-called righteous clans in the world of martial arts

excused that good and evil were at daggers drawn,

and forced the aged valley chief to place righteousness above family loyalty.

Actually, they were threatening the couple of Zhen

with the Healer Valley.

As the rumors went,

the couple of the second disciple of Healer Valley lost on the stoop

and made friends with bandits.

So the old valley chief abolished their martial arts

and kicked them out.

The old valley chief passed away soon.

From then on, the far-famed Healer Valley went to the dogs.

It explains the matter.

Lost on the stoop?

Divine Hand Zhen Ru Yu has spent his whole life saving others.

Thousands of people are under the obligation to him.

Throughout the whole country,

no one could claim to be

nobler than Brother Zhen.

It's exactly his nobility and kindness

that made him incompatible with the secular.

When this news reached Longyuan Cabinet,

Mrs. Zhen has been gone

with her wounded husband and vulnerable infant.

So Uncle Long,

As the rumors went,

The message that Longyuan Cabinet figured out ways to open the armory

was issued by you, right?

You were afraid that they wouldn't give up

and still targeted at the family of Zhen,

so you undertook

all of the trouble alone.

You gave up the promising future of Longyan Cabinet

and moved it here.

That's why the disaster came to you now.

Better late than never!

This was the best way I could figure out.

Except this,

I could do nothing for them.

I have never heard from them ever again.

I tried all ways to find them but failed eventually.

I wish nothing but that they have hidden somewhere

and lived a peaceful life.

I wish them to be out of chaos and turmoil.

Uncle Long,

for friends,

you could sacrifice like this.

You're so faithful to friends,

as well as the life and death friendship.

you're exactly acting like that.

Owning a friend like you in my life

will help to be gratified

even in the dwelling place of the dead.

Senior Ye, I didn't cover up intentionally.

It's just that I'm not sure where the key is.

Although I have promised Brother Rong

to send back the key to the armory,

I was strong in will but weak in power.

Please forgive me.

No need to apologize.

Rong Xuan is an idiot, so are you!

Armory?

Key.

Secret Book?

Do you think I really care for it?

Senior, you are superb in martial arts,

so the armory means nothing to you.

However,

this is regret in my heart!

Long,

You are a nice man!

It's Rong Xuan who tied you down.

Tell me your wish,

I will try means to realize it for you!

I have nothing to wish for now.

I'm lack for nothing but death.

Senior,

I have an unsolvable question.

Since Brother Rong was gifted and you're his master,

and you were adept at Combined Six Cultivation Power,

why didn't you teach him?

Although Bro Rong have left by sneaking the Secret Book,

it's easy to understand his behavior.

Let alone the fact Bro Rong was a life-time Kongfu addict.

No martial artist

could resist the charm of the unity of man and nature.

Nature and man in one.

It won't help escape from the cat-and-mouse fate.

On top of Mount Changming, it’s so cold and lonely.

In order to please him,

I taught him martial arts without reservation,

but I stopped him from practicing Combined Six Cultivation Method.

Because of this, the brat has been at odds with me for times,

and eventually left by sneaking the Secret Book.

Combined Six Cultivation Method, the crippled master.

The name of this wicked martial art

has given a hint of warning for the successors.

If it were a stunt,

how could I haven't given it to him?

It's all our fault!

Both his father and I had pampered him too much.

This little brat

might have thought it’s not a big deal,

and planned to come back

after the gliding days

took away our anger.

In the early years,

we bore the same thought.

However, none of us have expected…

If it's a stunt,

I wouldn't have hidden it from him.

Besides this Combined Six Cultivation Method,

even all the secret books of all ages have been laid ahead,

I wouldn't…

Fine, forget about it.

I only regret that, due to hesitation,

I didn't tear up the Secret Book of this Method.

Senior.
