Original subtitles

Even so,

how could you kill Eun Jo?

How could you do something like that?

No.

I just wanted to get rid of the baby!

Ha Ra, Eun Jo...

liked you so much.

Mr. Ko!

Here.

What are you doing?

The things we've done.

He found out all about it.

So...

are you saying I shouldn't help him?

Give it...

to me now.

Please...

Please.

I beg you.

What happened?

I found it sorting out my dad's belongings.

He always recorded things...

in case there's a mix-up in an order.

He seems to have called her father...

on the day he passed away.

He didn't hang up, so it recorded her dad's last moment.

But...

why didn't he consider exposing it when he was alive?

He only checked his recordings when there was a mix-up.

I'm sure he didn't realize it was recorded.

With that recording,

we can have his case investigated again.

First,

what Ga Heun wants is the most important.

We've handled the private loan you got for the hospital bill,

so don't worry.

Mr. Wang,

find Mr.Shin a place to stay.

Yes, ma'am.

Thank you.

The car was skillfully parked in a blind spot.

The license plate turns out to belong to a stolen car.

It's difficult to identify the man.

That means it was a thoroughly planned crime.

Se Rin planned this alone?

What are you doing to do?

Are you going to visit her?

No.

An attack on Ga Heun is an attack on me.

I will teach her a lesson not to do this ever again.

That way, Ga Heun's revenge can go as planned.

Chief Hwang's sample products...

passed durability and safety tests.

All we have left to do is set up a product line.

According to the schedule, they can be launched...

with Ms. Ju's promotional products at the same time.

I said they can't be launched simultaneously.

The promotional ones should be launched first.

Se Rin disappeared without a word during the presentation.

How can I decide it without seeing her report?

Start producing...

Chief Hwang's pilot products.

I'm afraid you can't do this, President Hwang.

President Hwang, you're here.

What brings you here?

How rude of you to interrupt our meeting.

A few days ago,

my daughter was kidnapped in the parking lot of Jewang Group.

How can this ever happen?

It was the day...

before the sampling discussion that my daughter hosted.

Someone targeted her at her quitting time...

to keep her away.

What?

That's nonsense.

President Oh, that's a mere conjecture.

A conjecture?

He got into the parking lot which is closed after ten.

He even made use of a blind spot.

It must be someone who knows the inside of the building.

If Jewang Group doesn't get...

to the bottom of it and find out how it happened,

I won't sit still.

Our investment deal will be back to square one.

How could this happen?

That's an abuse of power.

That makes no sense.

As a takeover artist, she has enemies everywhere.

How can she blame us for their assault?

It happened in our own building.

Didn't you hear what she said?

It couldn't have happened...

unless it's someone who knows well about our building.

If she takes the investment back,

when there's this much progress,

we'll take the whole hit.

Manger Cha, I put you in charge of the investigation.

Also, make sure...

word doesn't get out.

Yes, sir.

There's a problem, Director Oh.

You startled me. What problem?

The president of Hwaipeu Fund was just here.

She said Chief Hwang had been kidnapped.

What? She was kidnapped?

By whom? Why?

Why would they kidnap her?

I don't know who did it.

She threatened us to find out if it has something to do with us.

Manager Cha will look into it.

It happened in our parking lot the day before the sampling meeting.

It's a very serious situation.

The day before the meeting?

Right.

That's why she looked so pale.

Check all the visitor log, the employee sign-in sheets,

the list of license plates, and the parking lot security cameras...

from the day before the meeting.

Yes, sir.

It could be a premeditated crime.

Sort through the recent visitor log and find suspicious visitors.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

She was kidnapped?

She had to go through that hardship.

(Manager Cha)

He found out something bad happened to me and Byeol.

How shocked he must've been.

You were looking at his photo.

Did your memory return a little?

Ta-da. Look.

Dad wore this when you went to the US.

- The US? - Yes.

You went to the US,

so Dad followed you in this, but he hasn't returned yet.

Do you remember...

when your father passed away?

What did he say?

"Eun Gyul,"

"I'll go run an errand. Nurse and take care of your mother."

Eun Gyul,

I'll go run an errand.

Nurse and take care of your mother.

Are you also going to the US?

No. I'll get back soon.

Eun Gyul.

When I'm not around,

you're in charge of the family.

You're taking my place,

so you should protect your mother.

- Okay? - Okay!

I'm so good at fighting with swords.

I will certainly protect Mom.

Good.

I'm so proud of you, Eun Gyul.

I'll be back.

I'm the head of this family until he's back.

I will also protect Mom instead of him.

Take my super atomic sword!

How is it? I'm good, aren't I?

Did he say you're in charge of the family when he's gone?

He must be so proud of you...

if he knows you got a job.

Why are you crying?

Does your head hurt again?

Eun Jo.

This is all for today.

Hello?

This is Blue Kindergarten.

You applied for a voluntary art teacher, right?

Can you come today?

How much does she resemble Eun Jo...

for Eun Gyul to mistake her for Eun Jo?

Mrs. Bae.

Take this.

People at our age...

should take things like this to stay healthy.

Let's make a toast.

To the constant friendship...

of the two divorced women.

By the way,

about yesterday...

It was quite absurd to you too, right?

I know.

It can't be true.

I get it.

I found it ridiculous too.

He's in unrequited love.

I'm sure there's a good reason he said that though.

I agree.

So...

it must've started back when he called me

Hotcakes Pants at Koeun Shopping Center.

If I knew about it back then, I'd have said no to him at once.

But I didn't know he has been having a crush on me for so long.

He wanted me to give him coupons for a month...

- and all sorts of gifts. - What?

Coupons?

Who are you talking about?

You know who.

That cheap guy bought the dishwasher for me.

Oh, my goodness.

Seriously, I think he's trying to play games with me.

I'll say no thank you to that 1,000 times and over.

I'll never fall for that.

You mean, Mr. Ju?

We still got some time left until dinner time.

Can I bring braised chicken with cheese to Bo Mi and Eun Gyul?

Sure, why not?

- Go ahead. - Okay.

- Mom. - What brought you here?

Where is your coworker who you said looks like Eun Jo?

You mean Ms. Hwang Ga Heun?

Did you not see her? She just left.

Really? Hold this for a moment for me.

It's good even as a to-go meal.

It has a lot of toppings too.

You used to say cheese when taking pictures.

Dad said whiskey, and I said smile.

Eun Jo said kimchi.

Eun Jo really liked braised chicken too.

Would President Hwang's daughter like it too?

Did you come to see her after hearing she looks like Eun Jo?

She doesn't just look like her. She's Eun Jo herself.

It's just her brain is not working.

That's why she's hiding at the company.

I told Eun Gyul she lost her memory to make him feel better.

I was afraid he would call her Eun Jo.

Really?

Don't worry. Mom, I'll help Eun Jo get her memory back.

I showed her Dad's picture.

Today, I showed her Dad's suit.

That must be why you were looking for his clothes yesterday.

Then, did you go back in that room again?

I told you not to go there.

I told you not to call her Eun Jo too.

She'll fire us.

Bo Mi, please!

I told you Eun Jo is hiding there.

She is Eun Jo!

Then, why? Why can't I call her Eun Jo?

Eun Gyul.

Hey! I heard Ms. Hwang was kidnapped.

What happened?

Did you call the police?

The company has been doing investigations on that.

What happened to this woman? She won't pick up my calls.

I even brought her home and told her to rest.

Wait, is that why she isn't picking up?

You brought her home?

I did. She didn't look too well at the sampling meeting.

I tried to bring her to a hospital, but she said she wanted to go home.

Is Ms. Hwang okay?

How would she be okay? She almost died that day.

Pick up, please.

Stop making me so anxious.

She isn't kidnapped again, is she?

Ha Jun, how could you say that?

Watch what you say!

Don't yell!

I was just so worried it slipped out of my mouth.

How dare he bring a knife in here?

Vitamins.

Omega three.

Probiotics.

Mr. Ju, I got you cheongsimhwan.

Did anyone follow you?

There was no one at all.

Who could he have been?

Se Rin and I almost died and had our funerals.

I wish I had been there when that happened.

Don't worry. I'll recruit some quick guys,

and defend the shopping mall like an iron wall.

Great job.

I can't bring you with me even to the bathroom though.

So I got things for you.

This is an alarm for self-protection that rings in an emergency.

Also,

this right here.

It's an electroshock weapon that will send some away at once.

If that doesn't make you feel safe,

should I get a taser for you?

A taser?

Could I take that out while I'm using the toilet?

This will be the best for you then.

A whistle?

Never mind.

Just stay right next to me all the time.

Let me say this to you again.

Make sure Se Rin doesn't get in trouble...

for how you buried Hwang Ga Heun alive.

Don't worry.

I know it won't happen,

but in case it does, I'll go to jail by myself.

Why did you have to mess it up and give Se Rin such a hard time?

I'm okay for now.

I remember she really was buried though.

You are sure, right?

Mr. Na said he'll take care of it, right?

Don't worry.

He first came to Sang Man to return his favor.

But he fell in love with you at first sight.

That's why he came to me as soon as Sang Man died.

For you, he'll do anything. He will even chew down a knife.

I feel grossed out.

The way he looks at me is giving me the chills. It's disgusting.

Don't be so harsh on him.

You feed snacks to dogs when they do a trick.

It's annoying.

It's your fault for telling him in the first place.

It's driving me crazy.

How dare she do this to us!

Why would she blame us for what happened? It's nonsense.

Why did she have to get kidnapped the day before the meeting?

Se Rin.

Where are you going right now?

You have a presentation to do.

Mother, this is not the time for that.

Hwang Ga Heun is back.

What's gotten into her?

"Hwang Ga Heun is back?"

Hi, Mother. I was planning on giving you the report later.

Se Rin, are you the one who kidnapped Hwang Ga Heun?

Who did you find out about that?

Did Ha Ra tell you?

What?

Are you saying Ha Ra is involved in this?

I thought you already knew.

Are you out of your mind?

President Hwang wanted a serious investigation on this.

She told President Oh she'll cancel the investment if we don't.

Manager Cha will investigate what happened.

You must tell me everything about what happened.

What did Ha Ra do?

Mother...

Ha Ra pressured me to do it.

What? She pressured you?

Mom, you are back early.

I'm glad you are here.

I want to wear it to the meeting tomorrow.

What do you think?

Which one will suit me well?

Is this the time to be doing this?

You should have told me if you did such a thing to Ga Heun.

Did Se Rin tell you something?

How does she still have such a loose tongue?

What Se Rin did has nothing to do with me.

She did it alone because she felt inferior...

after seeing Ga Heun's designs.

She said you urged her to do it.

She even sent you the photos to prove it!

I deleted those photos.

If they investigate it,

do you think they won't find out that you deleted them?

Don't do anything.

Don't even try to change your phone...

nor try to remove the traces.

You'll get caught if you do that!

I can put all the blame on Se Rin if I get caught.

President Hwang said she'll call this into question...

saying that she'll cancel the investment...

and threatened your father.

Whether it was Se Rin or you,

it can never be traced back to our company!

What's the matter with you? It's not like you.

You're my problem-solver.

You've been covering for me well until now.

This is nothing like the employee at the skincare shop.

If word about this gets out, Jewang Group itself might collapse.

So I might not join the cast of the mini-series?

Obviously not.

Your father is ordering people to get to the bottom of it.

If he finds out that you're involved,

then we both might be kicked out!

Fine.

Prevent the company...

from relating the incident to Se Rin and me.

It could have been a simple robbery or an abduction out of resentment.

Those happen a lot these days.

I'll make sure to remove the trace of the photos.

That'll do, right?

I'll take pictures with Dream.

No, Hoon!

Give me that.

What's wrong, Mom?

You're scaring me.

Hoon, what did you see on my phone?

Tell me what you saw!

Hoon.

Did the cellphone do something wrong?

Byeol's lady.

I wanted to take photos with Dream with my mom's phone,

but she got mad at me and took it away.

She yelled at me asking what I saw.

But I didn't see anything.

I was so scared of Mom.

Oh Ha Ra, so you got the photos of me buried in the mountain.

So the phone did nothing wrong.

Do you want me to turn your sad memory into a happy one?

How?

You and I can take a photo.

Here. Smile.

Can I make a drawing of our photo?

Of course. Do you want to draw it with me?

All right.

President Hwang requested...

Jewang Group to investigate your accident.

Ha Ra must have heard about it by now.

Deok Gyu, Ha Ra will start moving.

Okay. I'll get ready.

What should I do?

I'll be doomed if it's revealed.

I told you to never mention my name.

How dare you tattle on me to my mother?

Ha Ra, that's not it. I thought she already knew.

But you're not exactly irrelevant to this issue.

You're the one who nudged me into it!

You darn...

I'm sorry. It's all my fault.

What do you want me to do?

Should I kneel?

Call the person...

who got blood on his hands for you.

What made you call me to be here?

This whistle is a token of my feelings.

If anything happens again...

Was it you?

The one who did it for Se Rin.

Are you Oh Ha Ra?

I'm a fan.

I knew you were best friends with Se Rin, but...

I also follow your social media account.

Can you give me an autograph?

Mr. Na, wrong atmosphere.

I called you because of Hwang Ga Heun.

We can say that he did it because he's my fan.

The scenario is perfect.

What do you mean?

We're about to get caught for kidnapping Hwang Ga Heun.

So you two worked together with great friendship...

I knew...

Se Rin wouldn't do such a thing by herself.

Shut your mouth!

Yikes.

She won't be that easy to deal with either.

Like mother, like daughter.

Mr. Na, burying her was a mistake,

but I'm sure you can do a good job of covering it.

Of course.

I'm your fan,

and you're Se Rin's friend.

Here's the price for keeping your mouth shut.

I don't need such a thing.

With no strings attached...

I need it.

This is how my mother takes care of business.

Mr. Na,

if you keep our names out of it until you die,

this will be a token of gratitude.

If you fail,

this is a promissory note you'll have to pay your whole life.

You bet.

I'm aware of how scary the money from those up there can be.

Thank you...

for paying me generously.

To cover it completely,

I'll have to check if Hwang Ga Heun saw my face.

It's him.

How dare you treat Se Rin...

And Na Wook Do who's guarding Ju Tae Sik has...

a crush on Ju Se Rin.

Chief Hwang, I heard you were abducted.

Why didn't you tell me?

Why didn't you answer my calls?

Director Oh, are you getting engaged to Ms. Ju Se Rin?

Who says so?

Why would I get engaged to Se Rin?

That's what she said in my office last time.

She said she'll marry you.

I don't want to be misunderstood, so please stop your concern.

I'm not!

Chief Hwang, you're misunderstood.

That's the guy Se Rin was obsessed with?

And he's two-timing with Hwang Ga Heun?

You're really mistaken.

That's what only Se Rin wants. I don't want to be with her.

I know.

You know?

Were you just playing with me when you know?

I have a bad heart.

Do you know how startled I was when I heard you were abducted?

Nothing happened, so don't be concerned.

After you already made me concerned?

Chief Hwang, do you have a boyfriend who picks you up when you work late?

No, I don't.

As you can see, I don't have the time to meet a boyfriend.

Really? You don't have one?

No. So please leave.

I'm behind in my work.

Work doesn't matter right now.

Did you see his face? Did you call the police?

When someone is asking...

Chief Hwang, you came to work.

See? Manager Cha is so shocked that he looks angry.

Chief Hwang, we need to talk.

Why didn't you tell me?

Why did you say nothing happened when it was a huge deal?

Why did you say it was no big deal?

Because I returned safely in one piece.

It was also a personal accident.

Are you serious right now?

Didn't you hear that I was anxious?

From now on, don't be.

Whatever happens to me, don't bother.

Ms. Hwang.

I kept it from you because I felt like I should.

You threw out the sneakers.

I didn't want to make you falter when you've got yourself sorted.

Does your wife know...

that you still haven't forgotten your first love?

You'd better hide that look.

I don't want Mrs. Oh to be mistaken that you and I have...

some kind of relationship.

Right. Mr. Kim just reported,

and it seemed like a simple robbery.

Are you sure?

What else would it be?

Did you really think someone from our company was involved?

Gosh. President Hwang didn't even look closely...

before rashly talking about canceling the investment.

Even though she's our investor, that was rude.

What if it's not?

What if it wasn't a simple robbery?

Darling, Hwang Ji Na is a takeover artist.

There are numerous entrepreneurs who suffered a loss because of her.

Someone who holds a grudge could have kidnapped her.

Stop talking nonsense.

It happened in our company's parking lot.

You have nothing to do with this, right?

Darling!

No matter how much I hate Ga Heun,

I wouldn't think about kidnapping her.

What on earth is going on?

Someone was kidnapped?

Are you saying someone was abducted in our firm's building?

No, Mother. It wasn't an abduction.

It was a simple robbery.

Are you blinding my son again with your wily words?

How dare you try to screw up our company?

Mom, calm down.

Se Rin, why do you love that guy?

He's a two-timer.

If you would come to me,

I will give you everything.

Please be with me, Se Rin.

Meet me at Jupiter Cafe.

He sends me this text after I paid him?

What?

Did he call you and me both?

He called you too?

What on earth is he up to?

This is ridiculous.

What is it? Does he want more money?

I don't know.

What if he does?

He asks for more money after how poorly he did the job?

Is it possible he put on a show to get money from the beginning?

Ha Ra,

we still need to conceal what we did.

If he's asking for more money,

we should just give him.

The photos of Ga Heun...

buried in the ground can't be leaked.

Of course, they can't.

How much more does he want?

I'm not sure. It's so...

The photos of Ga Heun buried in the ground...

can't be leaked.

Of course, they can't.

How much more does he want?

I'm not sure. It's so...

Well done, Deok Gyu.

What's your plan?

With this one and your father's recording.

This is a bomb.

A bomb that will go off when our revenge comes to an end.

Eun Jo.

Deok Gyu.

Our revenge starts now.

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

I'm going to win back Koeun Shopping Center.

I need your help to do that.

I'm a psychiatrist, Dr. Choi Young Seok.

Tell them I'll cast the models...

for the pilot products of the marketing team.

- What are you looking at? - You've got a good physique.

Oh, come on.

I'm sure you'll do well.

Were you just complimenting me?

What do I do?

Oh Ha Jun, I think you're into Ga Heun!

Hello, the live broadcast of "Miss Ju's Closet" starts now.

Oh, my goodness.

We're getting a flood of orders!

Ga Heun, did you see what I can do?

What brings you here, Chief Hwang?

Fancy meeting you here, Manager Cha.
