patsy. So he murders Francis

Well, he couldn't disappear entirely.

I scrolled through the dog
show footage and came up donuts.

The camera just follows the dogs.

CHARLIE: What about the security camera?

Well, here's where it gets interesting.

Now the angle is bad,

but at some point every one of
the 50 contestants walked by.

Well, that's a visual match to the dog

that Juliet Tatum described to Charlie.

they're pretty uncommon
on this, you know,

There are only a handful of
licensed breeders in Newfoundland.

Now based on Sarah's
estimated age of our Westie,

two litters were found in
contention. Twelve dogs.

- Were you able to track down the owners?
- Almost all of them.

A good number of the dogs
were sold out-of-province.

Seven of them were
licensed to local residents.

It was a bit of a wild
goose chase. But then,

the breeder did say that one
of the pups was returned twice.

- A problem dog?
- JESSE: Exactly, yeah.

The breeder brought him back to
the pound. So I called them up

and they knew exactly which
Westie I was talking about.

Any idea where he went?

He was adopted

by the prison dog program.

(DRAMATIC PERCUSSION)

So, Francis's killer had a prison
therapy dog in the competition.

But what did the dog prison program
have to do with the dog show?

Francis and Anton started the program.
