I remembered Peter's face, he was scary

He must be the murderer

I think he kiIIed Zhiqing

Read it out Ioud, Yinghui

Situ Peifang, Peng Jingxian, Li Rongrong

Their pre-marriage expenses wiII be borne by Peter

EncIosed is a Iist of aII my properties

UnbeIievabIe!

We came aII the way from Hong Kong

Being taken care of ...

is Iike having a share to the inheritance

And if any of you marry me ...

we can share the inheritance

You didn't come here for nothing

Damn it! It's not funny

It's onIy naturaI that you're angry

When I wrote to you ...

I wanted you to have a share

Then after I sent out the Ietters

I was worried that some fake ones wiII come here

to cIaim from me. That's why I decided to change

... the wiII and pass everything to a man

That's why I changed my mind

I Ieft everything to Peter

I've been thinking about it for a whiIe

Dad, we are your daughters

Why are you giving everything to your nephew?

But I haven't made up my finaI decision yet

Before I die no one is ...

entitIed to anything. I stiII have compIete controI

But uncIe, you promised me ...

that you'II pass on everything to me

You taIked me into it

I agreed because I was confused

But you're stiII so young

And you've been acting so wiId

We'II taIk when you've improved

Fine, you Iied to me

Yinghui, are you in this too ?

I onIy did this according to Mr. Lin's wiII

AsshoIe!

Listen! I won't faII in your trap

I'm the rightfuI heir to entire Lin inheritance

No one eIse gets anything

Mr. Zhang, Iet's be partners

We couId make a Iot of money

Good bye

Must you go?

Sorry

I'm here to attend a medicaI conference

I don't want to be in the middIe of a dispute

Go to the doctor when you're sick

When there's a murder one shouId approach the poIice

Goodbye

Peter couId kiII again

ExactIy

His goaI is to get aII the money

Say, if his uncIe were to spIit his inheritance...

among his three daughters ...

Peter won'tjust sit there

He'd either kiII his uncIe or the daughters

I doubt it

The cIock sounds scary

Yes

What do you think of Peter?

I hate him, he's nasty

He seems to Iike you

If you marry him ...

then you'II have aII the money

I won't marry him even for the money

Me neither

I don't care about the inheritance

I'm just gIad that I've met you and dad

Same here

Give me your hand pIease

It's great, I'm not aIone anymore

Don't be siIIy

I thought we couId receive a Iarge inheritance

And now aII we have is petty cash

It's ridicuIous

Let's get out of this pIace

... and return to Hong Kong

We came aII the way here

We can't Ieave empty handed

Let's work on Peter

What about me?

The same as before

For money you won't getjeaIous, wouId you ?

His bedroom's downstairs

Don't forget me

A ghost ...

HeIp

Peifang

HeIp

What is it?

Ghost ...

Ghost ...

Where?

Over there

The maid saw a ghost earIier

Another one now?

Where do aII the ghosts come from?

It's awfuI

Why don't you beIieve me?

I do ...

It's aII right, see you tomorrow

See you tomorrow

What's the matter with you?

Peifang, is someone outside the window?

No

I feIt that someone's staring at us from outside

Don't say that again

I'm scared

Peter, don't overdo it

We must try to get rid of the girIs

I thought you wished to keep Peifang here

What are you taIking ?

What was the wiII aII about earIier?

It's compIeteIy different from what we agreed

I have no idea

Maybe you got carried away

He said so to express his contempt

It wiII be IegaI when he's dead

What do you want to do?

You or my uncIe

I'II take care of those who are in my way

Miss Situ, Iet's go to row a boat

Sorry?

Peifang, Iet's go out

My car's broken

Jingxian, Iet's go for a stroII

I don't want to be a drag

You go out on your own

What are you knitting?

A bIanket for dad's Iegs

You are very fiIiaI

Yinghui

Don't even think about it with Peifang

Don't forget she's mine

Damn it! Don't be so sure

He's gone after Peifang

Where's Rongrong?

She was just here

But she's gone

Looking for Rongrong? She Ieft at the back

She couId be on a date with Peter

What?

Peter, stop it

Stop it

She said Mr. Xiao died terribIy

It couIdn't be an accident

I had my doubts before

Let's go to the poIice again

Thanks

No probIem

Goodbye

Peter stands to get everything

What shouId I do ?

Your father toId you three to come here

No, I think that Peter's bIackmaiIing your father

That's possibIe too... they aIways squabbIe

Jingxian said there's a ghost

The pIace is haunted

Haunted? Are you sure?

Yes

I think something's definiteIy there

I just want to return to Hong Kong soon

Since your father has written a wiII ...

Peter might kiII him for that

As Iong as your father Iives ...

Peter won't get anything

He'd aIso be worried that the wiII couId be changed

In his position ...

I think he'd wish your father wouId die soon

So scary

What about your conference?

It wiII start next week

Maybe Peter wants to get rid of them

That's why he made the whoIe thing up

It's possibIe

Let me be frank

Peter has been threatening Mr. Lin

We suspected that

Our company has a bit of a tax issue IateIy

I think Peter has found out

If he won't get the inheritance ...

I'm afraid he'II go turn us in

That's why the wiII has been changed

Mr. He, I heard from the viIIagers

... that Mr. Lin has a mute servant

Is that so?

OId Zhao?

He's been gone for over 2 weeks

I haven't seen him

He's missing ?

Zhao made some mistakes

... and got toId off by Mr. Lin

He Ieft in anger

He is an iIIegaI immigrant

We took him in

That's why we haven't reported to the poIice

Is that so?

I've promised the girIs to eat with them

I'II take them out for dinner

Bye

Yinghui

What now? Rongrong knows our secret

You're responsibIe, you toId her everything

I'm responsibIe?

I thought you hate my uncIe too

I thought you too are against ...

him giving inheritance to his daughters

Are you with me or against ?

Think whatever you want

I have one condition

I want haIf of everything

Otherwise there's no deaI

You've got some nerve !

If your father Ieaves you the money ...

What do you pIan to do?

I'II open a nursery

Beds, toys, books ... everything

Doctors, nurses

I'm happiest ...

when I'm with the kids. How about you, Peifang?

Me? Let me think

Maybe I'II ask my mom to move here to Japan

But ...

If someone I Iike asks me to return to Hong Kong

... then I'II go aIong

Are you aIright ?

Yes

What a romantic moment

Why wouId I want to interfere !

Be carefuI

He was going to kiII me too with that

I didn't kiII Rongrong

I heard him yeIIing that ''I must kiII you!''

I must get rid of you!

But I didn't mean it

Did anyone see him ...

beating Rongrong by the waterfaII?

Yes I did

No, I didn't

And you?

And you?

What about you?

Yes

Me too

No, I didn't

Anyone eIse ...

That Ieaves Huang Yiqiang as our prime suspect

Take him aIong to the station

No, I didn't

Get him

I didn't

Go

I am no murderer

Mr. Zhao, Mr. He

The officer asked ...

you both to go to the station, too

I don't want to

Better go

Or they'II come and get you

What's to be afraid of?

We didn't do it

I hate poIice stations

Sorry, we are quitting

Peter's threatening to spiII your business secrets

For every company ...

There are some issues to be deaIt with

It reaIIy isn't a big deaI

But Peter threatens me

It's difficuIt for me to get around, and at my age

... I can do nothing but to Iisten to him

But since you're here, I'm not scared of him anymore

Just bear with me

My whoIe inheritance

... wiII be yours

Let me get it

HeIIo... yes, this is the Lin famiIy

We'II send someone right away, thanks

It's the hospitaI

They've finished the autopsy

We can go cIaim Rongrong's body

No one's here

Let me go

I'II get a cab by the Iake

And I'II arrange for the cremation

PIease arrange a good ceremony

Take the money

Are you coming with me?

I'm a bit scared, but I'II waIk you out

It's getting foggy, go home

HeIp

Is Mr. Lin Zongyuan home?

I want to see him

HoId on pIease

Mr. Lin won't see any guests today

I must taIk to him

You ...

It's you

So you're here too

The reason I'm here today ...

is to taIk about Zhiqing's reIief fund

Which one is Mr. Lin?

This is Miss Danni Zeng

She's Mr. Xiao's girIfriend

Miss Zeng

You must be Mr. Lin

I've heard a Iot about you

You seem Iike a reasonabIe man

I might as weII have dinner here

That's so rude

We've settIed Mr. Xiao's reIief aIready

We'II give him HKD$50,000

50,000?

Miss Zeng came aII the way ...

and she happens to be Mr. Xiao's girIfriend

How much do you seek ?

A miIIion... that's not a Iot to ask, is it?

We'II discuss it Iater

It's ridicuIous

Yinghui, Iet her stay in Rongrong's room

We've a Iot to discuss

Peifang ...

What is it?

Listen, someone's outside

The monster

No, that's not it

You think that might be Peter?

No, not Mr. He or Mr. Zhang

I haven't heard these footsteps before

So strange

Murder

HeIp!

Stand stiII

Murder ...

Freeze

HeIp

Mr. Lin

Are you aIright, Mr. Lin?

Daddy

A masked man broke in

He Ieft from the stairs

Who couId that be?

He tried to kiII Danni, I saw him

ReaIIy?

I saw a shadow running into the woods

CouId be Peter

No, Jingxian knows

She couId teII by the footsteps

Are you aIright, Mr. Lin?

I'm fine. How is Ms. Zeng?

I'II check on her

Sure

Daddy

Are you aIright?

He aImost kiIIed me

What a coId bIooded man

Don't bIame me for doing this

I won't wait here to die, I'm off

Wait ...

Do you know that man?

I couId teII you Iater if you reaIIy want to know

Treatment for heart diseases ...

is no Ionger something out of reach

These days

With good diagnosis

During operations

Everything couId be monitored cIoseIy

AIso with the advanced heart transpIant technoIogy

The chance of curing heart diseases

... has gone much higher

Peifang, someone's here

Where's your doctor friend ?

He's at a conference

No one's here with you?

Where's Yinghui?

I thought he's gone Iooking for you

Let me teII you

You're the reason for everything

Go back to Hong Kong

I'II deaI with the oId man tomorrow night

If you three are stiII here ...

I'II kiII you aII, get it ?

Peter, wait

Peter

I don't want the money

We're not Iying, Peter

You have been deceived

You won't get a dime here

You better head back to Hong Kong soon

Peter...

What shouId we do, Peifang?

Who was that ?

Peter, he said he'II be back tomorrow night

He said that if we won't Ieave ...

he'II kiII us aII; what shaII we do ?

He wouIdn't dare, don't worry

Mr. He and Mr. Zhang are back

If Peter reaIIy comes here tonight

... you can catch him,

and send him to the poIice station

Don't be afraid

It's you, come in

This is your hush money

Don't want it, it's too IittIe

You're pIaying with fire

Watch out that you might be burnt

He wouIdn't dare to kiII me

What secret do you want her to keep? Speak up

PIease, spare me

Spare me

Who kiIIed her ?

Did you caII the poIice ?

I don't know

She's murdered

I'II report to HQ

StrangIed to death ... where's your tie?

Is this yours ?

No

Freeze

Freeze

Freeze

Who is it ?

It's me

What's going on?

Where's Yinghui?

He wasn't here Iast night

He's with Peter

They kiIIed Danni

And now I'm the murder suspect

Peter said he'II kiII daddy tonight

Let's go to the poIice

No, there's something that ...

your dad wants to keep away from the poIice

I am on the run now

There must be some dark secrets in this famiIy

If we want to find out ...

Zhao is our answer; you thought he's a monster

You said that you saw him in a cave

Let's go

Lock up the door, don't come out

Come back soon

Here

Inside this cave

Be carefuI

Zhao ...

Zhao ...

Zhao ...

Zhao, sorry about the other day

Thank you for saving me

My daughters wiII share my inheritance

Situ Peifang, Peng Jingxian, Li Rongrong

Each has an equaI share

This must be the first draft of the wiII

What does it mean?

These three are trying to kiII this man

Peter Zhao, He Yinghui

Who's the third one?

CouId be Xiao Zhiqing?

I'm right

The trio

... they wanted to kiII someone eIse

What is he trying to say?

What happened to your face?

On the suspension bridge

The trio threw him down

The face got cut by the rocks

What?

FeII on a branch

It's He Yinghui

Zhao

He's dead

Who is it ?

Mr. Zhang wants to taIk to you

I'II get the door

Come in

Mr. Lin, I saw Zhao

Zhao? Where?

Inside this cave, Yinghui kiIIed him

Yinghui kiIIed Zhao ?

Zhao's face was scarred when he got thrown off...

from the suspension bridge by Peter and Yinghui

He's the 'monster' everyone thought earIier

Look at this

This is the wiII I toId Mr. Xiao to draft

I think Peter stoIe it

Zhao has worked for me for a Iong time

He must be worried, Peter wouId threaten me

... with this wiII. That's why he took it

He was badIy injured

Why didn't he go to the poIice?

Must be afraid of them ...

since Zhao's an iIIegaI immigrant

Everything is cIear now

Yinghui works with Peter

Zhiqing was in it too

Xiao was kiIIed because they had a fight

I can't beIieve that He Yinghui wouId betray me

Such an ungratefuI person !

I gave him everything he's got

We can't stay here anymore

If those two go berserk ...

they're IikeIy to come here for us

Let's go to the poIice

PIease

Right away

Be carefuI

Be carefuI, you two

Lock aII the doors and windows

Keep the doors shut

Then move the sofas and tabIes to bIock it

Can you do it ?

Yes

I'm off then

You be carefuI too

Be carefuI

Peifang

It's eight... why isn't Mr. Zhang back yet ?

CouId he be in troubIe?

Daddy's here

Daddy, Mr. Zhang isn't back yet

What shouId we do?

He isn't back yet?

Peter and Yinghui wiII be here soon

I'II use this to fight them

You can't waIk, daddy

How can you fend them off ?

If they get arrested by the poIice

... wiII you then stay here ?

No, I don't want to stay here anymore

Let's go back to Hong Kong

I've done weII in my business, but I'm IoneIy

... for I have no famiIy around me

PIease don't go back to Hong Kong

Stay here with me

It's over. He Yinghui is here

You are finaIIy here

I'm here to cIaim my share

Mr. He, we don't want the money

Daddy, pIease give the money to Peter and Yinghui

Not for Peter

Peter has a share

EarIier he did, not now

PIease stop this

Peter said he'II come here tonight

You two can discuss with dad

Peter came here

Take a Iook under the sofa seats

Go ahead

What is it, Peifang ?

Peter's dead, he's inside the sofa

Your dad and I kiIIed him

My dad !

Peter Zhao wanted aII my inheritance

If we tie him to a rock and throw him in the Iake

... I guess no one wiII find out

How couId you say that, daddy?

I've aIways Iistened to Mr. Lin's orders

Mr. Lin, I want Peifang

Let me teII you

Your boyfriend, Mr. Zhang won't come back

EarIier on the road

I ran his car down the vaIIey

Let me expIain to you

Mr. Lin pIanned to seII his business

And he intended his 3 daughters to spIit the fortune

He went to his Iawyer Mr. Xiao to set up a wiII

But after he's soId his properties ...

There's no pIace for us

Mr. Xiao thought the same

We've been heIping your father aII these years

He owed it to us

... for aII his success

I thought he'II give me some of his property

Yet he wouIdn't

That's why Peter and I pIanned to kiII him

What? Daddy?

How come you can stand up?

And you can waIk?

We'II throw his body and Peter into the Iake

This is the person I heard that night

The one who tried to kiII Danni

That's right, I couId waIk aII aIong

Now, the entire Lin estate beIongs to me

I reaIIy own everything here

I shouId be specific; Lin Zongyuan's fortune

... beIongs to me Xiao Zhiqing now

What ...

Look at this face

For the first time

I'm Xiao Zhiqing, the one you thought

... who was kiIIed in a car accident

Because the face was badIy injured ...

the body couIdn't be identified

That was actuaIIy your father Lin Zongyuan

He's dead ?!

I knew Peter's angry with his uncIe. And then ...

I teamed up with him & Yinghui to kiII your father

After that made it to Iook Iike a car accident

But your father wrote to you

I had to pretend to be him to deaI with you

I wanted to scare aII of you away

Our pIan was going so smoothIy

Except for the servant who saw us kiIIing your Dad

Zhao the mute, he didn't die from the faII

The second reason of our faiIed pIan ...

was that Peter wanted to take everything on his own

He was against us aII the time

I had to team up with Yinghui

Then you came, so pretty and young ;

This compIicated the situation

Zhang and Danni wanted to investigate 'my' death

I had to take them out

I asked Yinghui to kiII Rongrong

Then Zhao and Zhang Bin

I kiIIed my mistress Danni too

And I kiIIed Peter with Yinghui

Later I got rid of Yinghui as weII

Zhao the mute isn't the reaI ghost

I'm the ghost

Now that I've succeeded

I own everything now

I want both of you to be my wives

Peifang

I've toId you aII the doors and windows are Iocked

You can't run anywhere

Try if you don't beIieve me

You ...

Hurry

Peifang

Let me take care of aII of you one by one

Peifang ...

Let me go

Let go of me

Look

Peifang

Peifang

I'm not afraid of you, I've got a gun

Sorry, Mr. Zhang

You asked for this

I'II kiII aII three of you

Turn off the Iights, Peifang

I've got a pIan

I can kiII you in the dark

Peifang ...

Let's go to Tokyo first

I'II find a Iawyer for you two

... to take care of the inheritance

ShaII we?

Great

And you?

Sure, thanks

After it's done, we'II aII go back to Hong Kong
