Sir, would you like some tea?

We just received a fresh batch of Baiting Tea yesterday.

You can't find it anywhere else.

The taste is highly desirable.

Can't find it anywhere else?

Not even the palace...

I will give it a try.

This way please.

[Sifang Pavilion]

This place is quiet and peaceful.

Yes, it is.

Sir, here's your tea.

Is this the Baiting Tea

that is highly desirable?

Yes.

Please enjoy.

Here. Take a sip.

It smells good.

Sir, please follow me upstairs.

Duke Cheng.

I've heard so much about you.

This place is not soundproof.

What happened?

I'll ask the proprietor to give us another room.

Do you know about the battle at the border?

Yes, I do.

Your Commander in Chief has fallen.

But what does it have to do with me?

Your Highness.

He trusted Dou Yan too easily.

Moreover,

the tactical map I provided is genuine.

If it weren't for me,

you wouldn't have taken down Zhangyang City so easily.

That is not the point.

If you had given us the tactical map

for Pingsai and Jiuli earlier,

our Commander in Chief wouldn't have trusted Dou Yan

and changed our route for Pingsai.

He would have attacked Guanyan Town directly

and taken Hezhou down.

What part of "one city, one price"

don't you understand?

It's too late to say this now.

As long as you're sincere,

I can give you what you want.

Do you mean it?

But first,

we have to discuss

the price again.

Wu Bai Qi.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Go.

Arrest this rebellious son

and spy of Xuanhan.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Uncle San.

Uncle San.

Take a seat.

His Majesty has given his orders

to punish Duke Cheng for committing treason.

The spy of Xuanhan was also arrested for further investigation.

We owe this to you, Your Highness.

You're right.

If it weren't for her,

we wouldn’t have completed this mission so easily.

After the incident at the hideout,

Duke Cheng never reflected on his mistake.

Instead, he committed treason.

He has only himself to blame

for this.

Since this problem has been resolved,

I shall return to Ruyi Pavilion.

If you need anything,

please come to Ruyi Pavilion.

I'll stay here for now.

If you know the location of Ruyi Token,

you may inform me anytime.

Her Highness is indeed a good person.

She's also smart.

No wonder she was so precious to Ms Liu.

Duke Cheng was exposed

because of Rong'er?

Yes. Through Zhi Hui, she contacted Consort Shu,

then me.

His Majesty witnessed

Duke Cheng and the spy of Xuanhan colluding.

That's why he was furious.

Duke Cheng was caught red-handed.

Rong'er did that all on her own?

A few other people helped her.

They were skilled fighters.

Then again,

how did she know so many skilled fighters?

Maybe they were just some vagabonds she got to know.

You did well this time.

Marquis Xindu was also Duke Cheng's bargaining chip.

I didn't do it entirely for Your Highness.

I did it for myself too.

Your Highness.

I have to get going.

Even Little Marquis is suspicious

of Her Highness.

This...

Ruyi Pavilion

will be exposed soon.

I can't let Rong'er get involved in it.

In that case,

should we get Her Highness to return?

I know what to do.

Why is the Phoenix Crown here?

Didn't you say you needed more clothes?

So I went back to Duke Su's Residence

to get them for you.

Since this Phoenix Crown was a gift from Ms Liu to you,

I thought you'd miss it dearly.

So I brought it back here.

Say...

I almost forgot that I have some matters to attend to.

I need to go out.

Guard the Phoenix Crown.

Guard it well.

Yes, I will.

Lan Xiang, I have an urgent matter to attend to.

I have to go now.

Why is everyone so busy?

I still can't figure out

the meaning behind this lotus symbol.

But I'm certain that my master drew it

and hid it in the Phoenix Crown.

What was she trying to tell me?

This lotus might be referring to Lotus Village.

Ms Liu once disappeared for some time.

We thought she was dead.

But one day,

we received a secret letter from her

saying that she is in Lotus Village.

Where is this Lotus Village?

It's somewhere near Yun Luo Temple.

Those who're religious but cannot forsake their worldly ties

and devote themselves to monkhood

will gather at this place

to read scriptures.

I've been to Yun Luo Temple with master many times.

Sometimes, she would go somewhere else.

But she never mentioned Lotus Village.

Lotus Village is a hidden place.

She probably didn't tell you

because she was afraid

to get Lotus Village involved.

Since it's a hidden place,

could it be where she hid the token?

It's finally over.

Should I go see Ms Fu?

Lu Zeng?

Lu Zeng.

Little Marquis.

What a coincidence.

Give it to me.

Give what to you?

Stop acting dumb.

Do you have the stamp of Feng Lai Yi?

You must have forgotten about it, Little Marquis.

I did have the stamp.

But didn't you ask Ms Fu

to take it back from me?

[Feng Lai Yi]

Bookkeeper Lu.

Ms Fu.

Bookkeeper Lu.

It is time for you to return

the stamp of Feng Lai Yi to Little Marquis.

Ms Fu.

I don't know what you're saying.

I know what you're plotting.

[New Transaction Register of Feng Lai Yi]

These are the documents you stamped without permission

after Ji Qing Ting was suddenly arrested.

Where did you get these?

You made business deals without permission

and planned to keep the stamp for yourself

when the dust settles,

so that you can own Feng Lai Yi.

Feng Lai Yi is being impounded.

Once the impoundment is lifted,

I will deliver the goods.

With his temper,

will Little Marquis let you off

so easily?

-Well... -Besides, you can't deliver the goods now.

If the buyers sue you,

I'm afraid

you will not only lose Feng Lai Yi

but also have to accompany Mr Ji in prison.

As long as you return the stamp,

the documents and the title deed to Feng Lai Yi,

Ruyi Pavilion will help you replenish the goods

to solve this problem.

As for the deposit you received,

you can keep it first.

In that case,

alright.

Ms Fu wanted to go by the book.

Hence, I surrendered

all the documents and the stamp to the government's office

under her supervision that day.

I was told it was part of the paperwork for Mr Ji

and Consort Shu's dismissal.

In a few more days,

the office will surely inform you

to retrieve it.

Lu Zeng.

If you lie to me,

I'll kill you.

Little Marquis.

I wouldn't dare lie to you.

Please calm down.

If you can't get it back,

we can always go to the government's office ourselves.

They just won the battle at the border.

This marriage is indeed a blessing.

I think Mr Yao and Ms Fu make a stunning couple.

A match made in heaven.

Look at the groom's procession.

It's so long and grand.

Bow to the heavens.

Wait.

You can't go in.

You...

You can't marry him.

Who are you?

I know.

In your eyes,

I'm childish and reckless.

I don't understand you well enough.

In the beginning of our relationship,

I'd always offend and hurt you.

But

who is this man?

Now that I think about it,

I fell in love with you

the moment I laid my eyes on you.

You...

Someone is here to steal the bride.

Servants, get him out of here.

Come back here.

I don't know what more I can do

to make you believe me.

But I want to tell you that

although I'm childish and reckless,

I'm the man you can trust.

I'll spend my whole life

to prove it to you.

This is...

Fu Xuan.

Don't marry him.

Fu Xuan?

Fu...

Wu Bai Qi.

Don't marry him.

Who are you?

I fell in love with you

the moment I laid my eyes on you.

I'll spend my whole life

to prove it to you.

Let's go.

Are you out of your mind?

You're here for the wrong bride.

What is going on?

People were saying

that Ms Fu is getting married today.

Hengjing city is so big.

Am I the only one

with the surname Fu?

But a few days ago, you and Mr Yao...

That was Mr Shen.

Besides,

I've made myself clear to him.

What did you tell him?

If you don't want to tell me,

just forget that I asked.

I told him that

I once thought

marriage must be arranged by parents.

But I realised later on that

I can't just get married like that

because

I have fallen in love with someone else.

You have fallen in love with someone else?

Who is that?

Do I know him?

He is...

Who is he?

He is...

He is...

Actually,

I should have realised where my heart lay.

It's just that

I've always seen myself

as a reserved person.

Moreover, I've always treated you coldly

and I'm no fun to be around.

Don't say that about yourself.

I like those traits in you.

I like them as long as it's you.

I know you won't believe me easily.

So let's talk about this again

after seven or eight years.

Shall we?

Blink

if you agree.

In a few days,

I'll go to Fu Residence

and ask your parents for your hand in marriage.

How does that sound?

[Lotus Village]

May I know

if you are the owner of this place?

Yes, I am.

What's the matter?

I am Fu Rong.

Liu Ru Yi was my master.

I came here today

to look for something

that belonged to my master before she died.

If she had ever told you anything,

please tell me.

I wasn't close with Ms Liu.

Mister...

I see.

My master drew this before she died.

Perhaps

you know something about it.

I have no reason to keep this.

You may have it.

Sorry for disturbing you today.

[Lotus Village]

Your Highness.

Are we leaving just like that?

His expression changed

when he heard my master's name.

So, I decided to give him the picture.

Let's just wait patiently

for him to make his move.

-Your Highness. -Your Highness.

We were just talking about them.

-Your Highness. -Your Highness.

We went through Duke Cheng's Residence.

Most of the documents and letters are missing.

They must have been taken away.

Taken away?

Didn't we capture all of Duke Cheng's subordinates?

I went to the prison to investigate just now.

Duke Cheng's right hand man, Zhong Rui was not there.

He must have fled.

He must have taken away

the documents.

These documents must be very important.

Zhong Rui has sought refuge in Xuanhan.

We'll get the spy as long as we get Zhong Rui.

The gate is heavily guarded.

Zhong Rui must still be in Hengjing.

I'll get some men to search for him.

I'll inform you once we find anything.

We have been searching

Zhong Rui's room for hours.

But we found nothing.

Search it thoroughly.

[Fu Residence]

Xuan...

Ms Fu.

Bao Zhu told me

you've been pacing up and down outside.

Why didn't you come in?

I was afraid

it would be inappropriate.

I'm surprised you know that.

Last time, you caused quite the commotion

at Mr Yao's wedding.

Now, you're swamping my family with gifts.

The hall is full with your gifts now.

Is this

considered appropriate?

It's my first time proposing marriage.

I've asked many people about it.

I was told to please my prospective father-in-law.

By the way,

where are your parents?

Did they say anything

after you went home last time?

They went out to a dinner party.

Last time...

My father said

that I should know what I'm doing.

It's fine as long as I'm certain of my decision.

That's great.

That's great.

You came here today just for this?

Say,

do you remember the time you were kidnapped?

Why?

The man who kidnapped you

wasn't any old trafficker.

He was from Duke Cheng's Residence.

His name is Zhong Rui.

You must have also seen him in the martial arts competition.

He was beside Duke Cheng.

Someone from Duke Cheng's Residence?

Why did he kidnap me?

I don't know either.

Zhong Rui is on the run now.

You must be more careful when you go out.

Don't go out alone.

[Liu Ru Yi's Spirit Tablet]

[Owner, Liu Ru Yi]

Who's that?

Let's go.

Is your bracelet

from Ru Yi?

Yes.

Master said she made it

just for me.

[Owner of Ruyi Pavilion, Liu Ru Yi]

Ru Yi asked me to safekeep this box.

She told me, if fate permits,

I shall pass it to a person with a Ruyi emblem bracelet.

How long ago did she

hand this to you?

A very long time ago.

She was always worried about homeless children

running aimlessly out in the world,

unable to liberate themselves.

The last time we met,

she wanted me to cure

a child named Dong Wen.

Dong Wen?

He's the youngest son of Mr Dong Fang Li.

You know him?

I've heard it from His...

I've heard it from a friend.

I've never thought

that Master asked you to...

Ru Yi and I rarely saw each other.

Who would have known

that would be the last time we met.

I think

if she knew you care about her so much,

she would be...

You don't have to comfort me.

We were not in a relationship.

Now that

I've done

what she asked me to,

it is more than enough.

Thank you.

I hope you don't let Ru Yi down.

[Rong'er.]

[When you read this letter,]

[I trust you already know everything.]

[I built Ruyi Pavilion]

[to uphold justice]

[and benefit all the people in the world.]

[But there are times]

[when I'm left with no choice.]

[Things can go out of control]

[even for me.]

[I don't want to get you involved in this.]

[If you ever]

[open this box,]

[it means]

[Ruyi Pavilion is in danger.]

[Whether you want to take over Ruyi Pavilion]

[or destroy the token,]

[the decision is yours.]

[I'll respect your decision.]

[May you remain true to yourself]

[and be sincere, always.]

[Order]

Master.

I've made up my mind.

Xiao Qi, go and take a look.

I knew it.

You wouldn't give up so easily.

Look at what you stole.

Yuan?

How could it be you?

How could it be Yuan?

Wen Xing, you said that

Zhong Rui escaped with Xu Mao's letters?

Yes.

The letters between Xu Mao and Ru Yi

must be with Zhong Rui.

His Majesty is most concerned

about this case right now.

This is no time to be playing nice.

-Bad news, Young Master. -Ms Gu.

Ms Rong seemed to have found out something two days ago.

I didn't inform you

because I wasn't sure.

I secretly followed them

to Lotus Village.

They found the token.

She has the Ruyi Token now

and is supported by the former gang of Ruyi Pavilion.

She's now the legal owner

of Ruyi Pavilion.

What?

The owner?

Young Master,

I wanted to snatch the token away.

But I was attacked

and my identity was revealed to Ms Fu.

It's my fault.

It's alright.

Ms Yuan.

All that matters is you're safe.

Since your identity has been exposed,

you should stay here

and recuperate.

Wen Xing.

Thank you.

[Fu Residence]

[Letter of Resumption of Business]

This is the betrothal gift.

What do you think?

Lu Zeng returned everything to you?

All thanks to you.

My mother told me before

that I'm not good at doing business.

If I find a capable wife

who can run the household,

I can pass Feng Lai Yi to her.

You don't want to?

Why?

Don't worry.

I'll handle the reopening of business.

After that, I won't stifle you.

You can run the business as you please.

Since you said this is a betrothal gift,

I can't take it now.

But

I'll take this as a deposit.

[Feng Lai Yi]

It's a mess in here.

Get someone to clean the place up.

This plant is withered.

It's inauspicious.

Bao Zhu, get them to buy some plants for this place.

Ms Xuan. Deputy General Li said

he will lure Little Marquis here as soon as possible.

He won't tell Little Marquis about the birthday surprise.

You wait outside.

Let me know

when Little Marquis comes.

Don't let him in first.

Yes.

Little Marquis.

I saw you.

Stop hiding.

Come over here.

[Feng Lai Yi]

-Bao Zhu. -Little Marquis.

Why are you here?

Did Ms Fu come to see me?

Wait, Little Marquis.

Ms Xuan is still doing something inside.

It's inconvenient for you to go in now.

What's so inconvenient in Feng Lai Yi?

Little Marquis.

Bao Zhu.

Little Marquis.

Little Marquis.

-Quick, quick. -What's wrong with you?

-Are you okay? -Zhong Rui is in there.

Ms Xuan, are you okay?

General.

He is indeed afraid to fight you.

He just wants to escape.

Are you okay?

Of course.

I didn't even fight him.

General, look at this.

He has the key to Feng Lai Yi.

No wonder we couldn't find him.

He has been hiding here all this time.

This letter is very important.

I have to pass it to His Highness.

What an evil person.

He tried to sneak an attack on me.

By the way,

what are you doing here?

I...

I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you.

I even prepared a surprise.

How did you know about my birthday?

I just happened to ask Lu Zeng

when I met him.

some time ago.

You just happened to ask?

So...

What present did you prepare for me?

Longevity noodles.

General.

I'll take him away.

Ms Xuan, I'll wait for you outside.

Thank you for your noodles.

You don't have to thank me.

I caused such a mess

in Feng Lai Yi today.

Ever since my mother passed away,

nobody has remembered my birthday.

I'm so happy

that you kept it in mind.

But

since I can't have the noodles now,

can I ask for another present?

What is it?

Can I

not call you Ms Fu anymore?

Can I call you Xuan'er?

You don't need my permission.

You may call me

any name you want.

So you are fine with that?

Xuan'er.

Anyway,

I'll call you something else soon enough.

Your Majesty.

We've arrested 20 odd spies of Xuanhan.

Five strongholds have been destroyed.

I'll arrange further investigations

within and beyond the capital.

You did a good job.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Father.

With the help of the Valiant General,

we've made a major breakthrough in Xu Mao's case.

More than ten subordinates have been arrested

and many jewellery were found.

After questioning them,

we've made

some shocking discoveries about Xu Mao's case.

Since the army ration corruption case in Guanyan Town,

Xu Mao has been wary that I might discover this conspiracy.

So he forced Qi Ce to assassinate me.

When his plan failed,

he turned demolishing the quarry for profit.

He used Dong Fang Li's youngest son

to threaten Mr Dong into transporting the explosives.

The explosives

are likely linked to the landslide on Mount Tai.

Throughout this case,

the Imperial Guards and Huxiao Camp have done a good job.

But you must get to the bottom of it.

Do not leave out

anyone linked to the case.

Brother.

From my investigation,

Xu Mao had more subordinates

than those who were captured.

He had been in contact with a gang.

The gang collects secrets

in exchange for profit.

Qi Ce,

Shang Kai Yang,

Zhang Yao Cheng

and Xu Mao

obtained secrets from the gang.

I beg Your Majesty to investigate it.

Your Majesty.

This is outrageous.

I didn't think Dayu

would still have gangs like this.

Duke Su.

Why didn't you discover this?

It was an oversight on my part.

I'll accept punishment.

The gang members are cunning

and elusive.

Please deploy more manpower

lest another disaster occurs.

The Imperial Guards will be given full authority on this matter.

Duke Su.

You have to eliminate the gang.

Yes, Your Majesty.
