I have this scar on my face."

Just every day, for years.

You got your scar from laser
hair removal, right?

And you were being obsessive
about your hairline, correct?

No. I was slightly obsessive
about my hairline...

more so about shaving.

I would shave and I'd get all
irritated up on my cheekbone.

And my neck would get bloody,
from shaving.

And I met a friend who said,
"You know what, Brody?

"You can get laser hair
removal...

"where you don't have to
worry about shaving your
sensitive areas."

I'm an Eastern European mutt.

I come from Germany, Hungaria,
Russian... and Poland.

That's where I come from.

So my hair is thick and coarse.

So I went in, I got laser hair
removal, and it worked.

And then my skin was out
in the sun, it was a little dry.

And they had another girl
working that day.

And she did the laser,
and it burnt my skin.

And I'm being honest,
it bothers me.

I see myself in cameras,
I'm not accepting of it yet.

I see my reflection
in the morning, I'm not
accepting of it yet.

How would you feel if you were
going in for one thing...

and you go there
and it makes it worse?

Yeah.

It's like, "Come to our clinic,
you'll lose 20 pounds."

But you leave 40 pounds heavier.

it would be a mind-eff.

I have bad skin.
I do run weird.

I am hairy.
I am obsessive.

It's just a bad combination.

And then the fact that I have
facial dysmorphia--

That weighs on me.
That's extra stress.

I want to eliminate that stress
and believe in myself
and own it.

Howard Hughes had problems
with his mother.

My mom thought I had
a learning disability...

but I was probably obsessive.

So I blame it on her.
