And they speak to me.

He likes to twist that knife.

I got a call from woman named Nancy.

Now, she sounded really bad when I spoke to her.

She was crying and said her dream house

is trying to kill her.

I'm really hoping Amy and I can help this woman out.

Before Amy arrives,

I clear the area of any leading information.

This home has a lot of photographs,

musical instruments,

and dream catchers.

So it's important I cover or remove them all.

When I'm done, the location will be ready for tonight's walk.

God.

This particular area

is extremely negative.

There's something with the Earth.

Extremely bad, bad, bad area.

It's just a huge, huge black hole.

I'm hearing, "You are literally in the pit of Hell."

You know, Nancy, when we spoke on the phone,

you were pretty upset.

Kind of broke my heart to hear you cry.

What's going on with you here?

My whole life has been turned upside down.

It's kind of like being trapped in Hell.

Yeah, I'm alone.

So what attracted you to this house?

Being in the music industry,

I wanted some peace and quiet,

just not be around the rat race.

I thought I was gonna grown old here.

I really thought this was where I was gonna die.

Have you experienced paranormal

before you moved here?

Yes, since I was even very young,

I've been a sensitive.

So, Nancy, you believe you have abilities?

Yes, I've been told many times I'm empathic.

of what the hell's going on in this house.

There's footsteps.

I see shadow figures.

I get physical touching.

I have nightmares.

They're terrifying.

My health just started deteriorating.

What kind of health issues are we talking?

Since I moved in, I started having skeletal issues.

I have multiple sclerosis.

I have a brain tumor.

- A what? - A brain tumor.

They monitor it and I'm going blind in my left eye.

I can't feel my legs.

Sounds like since you moved here,

everything went downhill for you.

I used to have everything.

I was the it girl.

I had it all and I have nothing now.

It's literally this house.

Since I walked in,

a place of happiness turned into just

this big nightmare.

Just everything's gone.

Why the hell would you stay here?

I put everything into this house

and this is why I have you here.

'Cause I'd really like to keep my house.

The interesting thing here is that the living

and the dead are so meshed,

it's like they're living in each other's realities.

The living people who live here are way too open.

I want to say that there's at least two sensitives

who are living who are consistently here.

Can you elaborate on that?

Living people have been attracted to this place

because it's haunted.

I think that people come here and the thing is,

is they're pulled.

I think they think most of it's positive, but it's not.

It's really not.

Most of it's negative.

It's out of control.

It's not good.

I get touched.

It's almost like caressing.

Where are you being touched?

My arms, my hands.

How often does that happen?

Sporadically.

Couple times a week.

It's very shocking.

Anything else physical like that ever happen?

I wake up with bruising,

and it would be like somebody's grabbed me.

I don't live with anybody,

so where are these bruises coming from?

People that have a white blood cell that's low

bruise easily.

Is that something to do with your conditions?

No, I'm fine that way.

I'm getting a lot -- a lot of physical pain.

Something's happening here on my neck

and a pain in my stomach.

Some of the pain I'm having is related

to a living person.

It's like something's got them.

I think that they have a dead person that is doing this

to them all the time.

It's a dead woman.

It's causing a lot of this pain.

There's always this pain.

Do you know who this is happening to?

I'm damn positive it's a female.

Do you have any idea why she's wanting to do this

to this person?

She hates them, hates them.

Feels trapped, bound.

She's making this weird noise all the time.

It's like a combination of growling and screaming

and wanting to bite.

Not good.

All right, Nanc, so this is your room, I assume?

- Yes. - Okay, so what's going on?

It's just mood swings.

I wake up angry.

It happens a lot.

It's like it's someone else's anger.

It's not mine. - What do you mean?

I feel like someone's maybe attached to me somehow.

I had a friend tell me that your outbursts affect

her being around me.

Nothing worse than needing somebody

and then they're not there.

Yeah.

All right, anything else?

Um, there's shadow figures.

It looks like somebody's passing the window.

So when you're seeing this shadow go by,

is it the same height all the time, different heights?

What are we talking about?

It seems about the same height,

that it reminds me of a man who's probably about 5'11".

Have you ever checked for anyone outside?

Yeah, nobody. Nobody's there.

I don't like it back there.

There's death back there, there's death.

Okay, this is bad.

There is a negative entity here.

What people would call it would be a demon.

It's evil.

The living here can hear it breathing.

They see shadow things going back and forth.

And I'm dizzy.

Living people have that a lot here.

All right, so what else is going on?

I get the worst nightmares.

It's the same dream I've had repetitively

for several years.

Tell me about the nightmares.

I'm curious what they are.

I started being attacked.

I feel like this demon thing is pulling me back.

So when you talk about this demon in this dream,

do you see it or is it just a feeling?

I see it with arms.

I don't really see it like I see you.

Okay.

Do you think whatever's here is intentionally trying

to hurt you and get you out of here?

I don't know if it's trying to get me out

as much as it's trying to keep me in.

This person is having constant nightmares,

but no one's sleeping.

Someone now has developed breathing issues.

I thought I saw something crawling from out under the bed,

which they might actually see.

I'm getting the head thing again.

I don't know how anybody lives here.

The pain is ridiculous.

So, Jodie, I was talking to Nancy.

I understand you're good friends with her. Yeah.

You know, she's one of my best friends in the world.

She feels whatever's in this house

is causing her health to decline.

Do you agree with that?

I do. She is really struggling.

What used to be so easy for her

is 1,000 times harder than it ever used to be.

As you get older, I mean,

I can't blame the paranormal on my stuff.

So why do you think it's the paranormal here?

When I met her, she was vibrant,

vivacious, so strong,

and just could set her mind to anything

and accomplish it.

And now she struggles every day.

She'll just get angry for no reason.

She will break down,

'cause she doesn't want to live like this.

Okay, so now as far as experiences in the house,

have you had any?

I've just had a really creepy feeling.

Like I don't like being alone here.

Okay, why?

It's like someone's standing behind you almost.

And that makes me really worried for her.

I was gonna ask ya, I mean,

you gotta be worried about her.

She's your good friend. - Absolutely.

- Think she's in danger here? - Yes.

What about her moving out of here?

What's your opinion on that?

I would really, really like to see her go

and just experience new energy and just have

a chance at a new life.

There's a lot of random dead out here.

These are like shadow people, but they're dead people.

It's possible that living people in the neighborhood,

as well as here, have seen them.

I think all of this going all the...way back

should be mowed down

and made into nothing.

That's how I feel about this place.

Like all of a sudden, I'm enraged.

Your blood pressure goes up and your head's pounding

and you're, like, just ready to...

like, beat the.. out of somebody.

you're good friends with Nancy.

Yes.

I've known Nancy for 12 years now, almost 13 years.

She was talking about how bad her health has declined.

And she blames the house

and what's going on here on it.

Do you agree with that?

I do agree.

This place is, it's unhealthy.

It's unnatural.

I'm an extremely sensitive person,

and I've been tormented

for about 15 years of my life because of it.

Okay.

How about here?

Have you had any experiences in this house?

Yes, I spent the night here.

I had a terrifying dream.

So Nancy told me about her nightmares.

What are yours like?

Literally being held down, like being pulled down

in a bed that was in this room.

I was reaching for the sky.

I was reaching for some greater, higher power

and having these clawing hands

kind of holding me back.

I felt like I was paralyzed, like I couldn't move.

I felt nothing in my body moved.

I'm gonna just go out and say it.

It's a demonic dream.

Okay, so anything else?

Yeah, I would get hit in this house all the time.

When you say hit, you mean physically hit?

Yes. I would feel these pains.

I would get hit in my neck.

I've been hit in my hip.

Feels like you're getting stabbed.

Feels like you're getting cut.

So when this happened,

did you get a sense that it was a human?

No, this was not human.

This was something that scared me and made me cry.

Would you say Nancy's in danger here?

Yeah, I think that her health and her life

is in danger being here.

She's sick.

She doesn't get better, she gets worse.

And she was perfectly fine when I met her.

So what do you think's here?

Death.

I don't know, it's just very loud in here.

It's very bad in here.

It's very negative in here.

There are dead that are coming from around here

and coming and going and coming and going.

it's like a white path and I see a trail of death.

It's the same people over and over again.

Somebody here is bringing dead people,

so that's not good.

Look, I know the Manson family's hideout

was in this area,

so I reached out to a local crime writer.

Now, he says there was actually another deadly cult

that operated real close to Nancy's house.

I'm hoping this is gonna help my investigation.

So, Mike, I know Manson had some sort of a hideout

near my client's property.

What can you tell me about that?

It was about 2 miles away from your client's house,

and they called it Spawn Ranch.

Manson gave his orders from the ranch.

That was their home base and he would decide

who's gonna live and who's gonna die

and a lot of his followers were these teenagers,

some from good homes.

It was shocking.

People said, "This could be my daughter."

So I know in '69, Manson and his followers wreaked havoc

through these hills here, but refresh my memory,

what was the body count, what happened?

9 people died in the summer of 1969.

These followers were involved in two

of the most famous murders in L.A. history.

One was the Sharon Tate murders in the Hollywood Hills.

She was an actress married to Roman Polanski.

Tate was what, almost nine months pregnant?

- Yeah. - Okay.

They stabbed her to death and four others.

Next day, they go

to Leno and Rosemary LaBianca's house,

stab them to death.

Was there any violence on the ranch

near my client's property?

There was a murder on the ranch.

This was a guy named Donald Shea.

He was a stunt man,

sort of a ranch hand at the Spawn Ranch

and Manson, after those killings, was very paranoid.

He thought people were ratting him out and he thought

this guy, Shea, was ratting him out and had him killed.

Okay, so what were the circumstances of his murder?

It was a grizzly killing.

They hit him over the head, stabbed him repeatedly,

and then ditched his body in the hills

just about 2 miles from your client's property.

You know, growing up on the streets of Brooklyn

and looking at this, you would think,

this is a safe place to be.

Yeah, the people who lived here

thought it was a safe place to be.

Turned out it wasn't.

There are a lot of dead people.

I would say eight.

These dead people are murder victims.

They were male and female.

Did you get a timeframe?

I would say within the last 60 years.

There is a possibility that two of them died together

or five of them died together.

I saw a woman and she was short, well-endowed,

was kind of bigger up here.

So I don't know if she had a belly or not,

you know kind of thing.

Then there was a girl dragging me by my left arm.

I'm having horrible pain on my left side.

Then there's another male.

I'm getting that he didn't die with the others

and he's in the dark and he's tall and he's thin,

and he's young.

I'm getting hit in the head, right temple.

I think that somebody came here and killed this person.

Now, you mentioned on the phone

there was another cult in the area.

What can you tell me about that one?

This is a cult that's even closer to your client's house,

about a half mile away.

This was called The Fountain of the World,

and it was founded by this guy named Francis Pencovic.

Here's a picture of him.

That's his wife next to him.

He looks the part.

Now, he's a Jewish World War II vet who came to believe

that he was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.

He changed his name from Francis to Krishna Venta.

They built the compound in 1948.

About 60 followers.

Okay.

They wore robes, they went around barefooted,

they were vegetarians,

which was a little weird at that time.

Kind of early hippies.

All right, they're do-gooders eating vegetables.

When did it go wrong?

Krishna Venta was not as he appeared to be.

He had a dark side,

and he was absconding with his followers' money.

He was taking it off to Vegas and Reno,

losing it at the tables.

He was sleeping with their wives, sexual abuse,

all kinds of stuff going on behind the scenes.

You know, one day,

two former followers didn't want any more of this,

and they took matters into their own hands.

What did they do?

1958, the two ex-followers go into the compound,

go up to a building.

One of 'em's got 20 sticks of dynamite strapped

to his body.

Blows the place sky high.

At the end of the day, 10 people are dead,

including Krishna Venta.

All right, so everybody's blown up here.

So did the cult end at this point?

Surprisingly no.

It kept going for years and years.

There's a long rumor

that Charles Manson himself visited the cult

in about 1968

and that's where he got some of his ideas.

I'm seeing another group of dead people out here.

So how many are there?

There's probably about 10 or 12 of these people

and then there's a male saying that he wanted money.

He's pissed. He's pissed.

I'm being slapped across the face.

I'm on my knees.

But I'm hearing now, there's no church here.

So far I've got a client who believes the activity

in her house is trying to kill her

on a property close to the compounds of two deadly cults.

But I want to see if there's anything else.

Searching through old records, I find a French land baron

named Miguel Leonis.

Turns out Miguel used to own Nancy's property

and used any means necessary to protect it.

So I'm headed over to meet a local historian

who says that as soon as this guy got

to my client's property,

he started acting real violent and unstable.

So Dinna, I appreciate

you helping me out with this case.

What do we know about this guy

that owned my client's property?

His name was Miguel Leonis.

He was from the Basque region of France,

and he arrived in the area in 1854.

All right, so how does this guy

wind up with my client's property?

In 1859, he enters into common law marriage

with a Chumash Indian woman named Espiritu.

This is where Miguel and Espiritu lived.

This is the actual house they lived in?

Yes.

Okay, so now you mentioned on the phone that this guy

had, like, a violent streak going.

What was that all about?

He was obsessed with building his real-estate empire

and his growing fortune.

This land, this ranch,

he basically stole from his father-in-law.

How'd he do that?

He convinced his father-in-law that in order

to protect the ranch from the government,

he should sign title of the property over to him

as a temporary measure.

Okay.

Never, ever did he transfer the ownership back

to his father-in-law.

- Really? - Yes.

What happens next with this guy?

Now he has his sites set on acquiring land

owned by his neighbors.

Okay, so how's he do that?

Hounding people off their property, burning crops,

bribing judges, intimidating witnesses.

Which resulted in control of 11,000 acres

of property in this area.

Okay, so this guy was a real piece of work.

Absolutely.

What ends up happening to Leonis?

While traveling over the Cahuenga Pass

with three others in a heavy wagon

full of firewood, he somehow fell

off his wagon

and got crushed underneath the wheels.

It's just very bad in here.

This is no good.

This is a terrible place.

I feel like I'm falling into the ground here.

I think the demon lives in here

and there's this darkness with the demon.

It's horrible.

And how would the living be affected by that?

It makes people evil.

I think a male died here from this thing.

I don't know how, but I think that this thing killed a male.

Another thing caught my eye in research.

One of the previous owners of Nancy's property died

in a tragic car accident back in the '70s.

I'm heading over to meet a retired L.A.P.D. officer

who dug into the case file for me.

She says there was no justice for the victim.

So, Cheryl, I appreciate

you helping me out with this case.

Before we get to the accident,

what can you tell me about the victim?

Alice Lansman was 29 years old, California native.

She and her husband, Mark, purchased the house

that you're looking into back in 1973.

Okay, so they purchased my client's house in 1973,

but I know the accident happened a few years later.

What exactly happened?

On January 11, 1977, at approximately 10:30 p.m.,

Alice was driving about three miles

from where she lived with Mark.

Okay.

She entered the intersection and was broad-sided

by another vehicle.

The other driver was driving about 70 miles per hour

at the time of impact and it was so intense,

that it literally knocked the engine out of the car

that was being driven by Alice at the time.

Really? Does she die at the scene?

What happened? - She did die at the scene.

She suffered brain trauma, fractured skull,

and according to the coroner's report,

she punctured her spleen and her liver.

Wow, this kid got hit really, really bad.

It's almost a good thing she did die immediately.

Now, what about the driver that hit her?

Did she get hurt? - Actually she did.

She received facial lacerations and she was transported

to the hospital for medical treatment

and was ultimately arrested there

for felony manslaughter.

But according to the records,

there was no indication that she ever served time.

It looks like the case just got dropped.

It just went away.

But there was no justice for Alice,

'cause she never served a day in jail.

Correct.

There's a dead woman with me right now.

She's white, thin, she's young.

She's probably, like, in her 20s.

She says -- She's trying to stop me.

She doesn't want to go back here.

And she says, "Turn around, you don't want this."

And then she just shows me blood.

She has got blood all over her, just fear, fear, fear.

I saw several horrifying things during my walk,

but two stood out.

First, the dead woman I saw attacking a living person.

The deceased female is definitely a small build.

She's always pushing the living person's head

and shoulder apart

and the person is miserable.

Next, I described how the demon showed itself to me.

It had really thick, black hair.

The face was like a skull without the jaw.

Amy, is this what you saw?

Yes, that's what I saw.

Now that Amy and I have completed

our investigations, we're ready to reveal our findings

to each other and our clients for the first time.

Amy, I'd like you to meet Nancy.

She lives here alone and was hoping to grow old

and die in this house.

She still thinks she's gonna die,

just sooner than expected.

Nicole's her longtime friend.

She's really worried about Nancy

and thinks she's in serious danger.

Now that Amy knows a little bit about you guys,

I'll ask her to describe her walk.

The second I walked onto your property,

I could tell that there's definitely

environmental factors that are at play here.

The energy around this property is so intense

that I believe it would be an attractive area

for a sensitive to go to.

It almost draws you in, you're thinking,

"Whoo, I feel good here,"

but it's a false positive.

It's not actually good, and the damage

that it does to your body is ridiculous.

I did get that there were at least two sensitives

that were having experiences in this location.

I've been told I'm an empath.

Yeah, I can feel when people die.

- Really? Ew. - It's awful.

You feel like you have some kind of sensitivity, don't you?

Yes, I have felt people take their lives.

You have to learn how to kind of block it out,

but you get used to it.

- She doesn't want the gift. - No, I don't.

God bless you, girl, but I don't want it.

Because there's open sensitives,

it's drawing a lot of dead from surrounding areas.

These are, like, shadow people.

But they're dead people.

It's possible that living people in the neighborhood,

as well as here, have seen them.

Amy, Nancy told me she sees

shadow figures outside her house.

In the purple room, there's windows,

and you could always catch the tail end

of the guy going by the window.

Anybody's who's stayed at my home,

they would answer the door, like, nonstop.

And they were like, "There's nobody here."

Wow.

This negative energy isn't just drawing the dead in,

it's also causing emotional issues within the house.

Extreme mood changes with the living

and what it brought out was sudden anger

and being suddenly enraged out of nowhere,

and I literally felt blood pressure going up,

and feeling this want to beat the...out of somebody.

Nancy, tell Amy how you've changed,

as far as your personality goes.

Well, what you just described is exactly what happens.

I get, out of nowhere, just that angry.

Really angry, like I want to kill my cat.

Hands-clenched anger.

And I am not that person.

So what else?

I saw five people sitting on a couch together.

Then there were two more

that were sitting on a loveseat.

They died together.

And then I saw a male, and he was, like,

in the back, in the shadows, elongated, thin.

They all seemed somehow to kind of

know each other or be related.

I think they're coming to your home

trying to seek help.

They would have died within the last 60 years.

It was all violent deaths.

The only man who could speak,

I believe he was bludgeoned

or something with his head, because it was horrible.

And then, when I walked up to your front door,

there was someone else there, ready to kill.

It scares me.

It sounds a lot like the history

I'm sure everybody at this table knows about.

- Right, the Manson family. - Exactly.

What you probably didn't know is that

in the summer of '69, the Manson family actually

hid out about 2 miles from here.

This is -- I don't like this.

When I went to meditate,

I was witnessing the murder of Sharon Tate.

I was literally freaking the...out.

My God, I don't know how you do this.

Manson's hideout is very close to your property.

It's called Spahn Ranch.

Well, Spahn Ranch is where he gave

all the orders for the murders in '69.

I got a couple of photos.

I'm sure you guys have seen these before.

They're on a rampage, the family killed

a total of nine people, plus an unborn baby.

5 people were killed on August 8, 1969,

which included Sharon Tate and four others.

The next night, two more were murdered,

Leno and Rosemary LaBianca.

Those murders happened

kind of far from here, in the city,

but one person was murdered right at the ranch.

Three weeks after the Tate-LaBianca murders,

Manson started getting paranoid

with somebody ratting him out to the cops,

and he blamed a local ranch hand,

and it was a stunt guy named Donald Shea.

The family took this guy out for a ride and beat him

over the head with a pipe and then stabbed him to death.

Then they dumped his body in the hills

2 miles from here.

Now, do you think the Manson family

is who you saw roaming around Nancy's property?

I think it's the victims.

- The victims. - Yes.

They're seeking her because she's a sensitive?

Yes, because she's a sensitive, yes.

I don't know what to do with it.

I've got dead people seeking me, but I can't help.

Anything else?

I'm in the living room,

and I ran into a dead older female.

She was very tiny.

But, very big problem, she has attached herself

to a living person and wants revenge.

She was yelling that she felt trapped

by the living people in the house.

She is very physical.

I felt bad pain in my neck,

my upper back, my left shoulder, and my stomach.

And then she hit me in the head.

Um, so I felt like the living there

would definitely have experiences

with this female.

Well, we've got a lot to talk about here.

Um, I get bruises, legs or arms or, like,

somebody's pressure grabbed, you know?

Now, Nicole, you've told me about you getting...

Hit, yeah.

I got hit in the neck and I got hit in my hip.

You know, I want to ask you something.

Now, Nancy looks good.

She looks healthy, right?

She has the health problems of an 80-year-old person,

and I'm wondering... - Wow.

...if it's related to this old woman.

I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis.

I have a brain tumor. - What?

I have -- there's just a laundry list.

I mean... - What?

...going blind in my left eye.

What?

Sometimes I can't walk.

- Or even get up out of bed. - Yeah.

Whether you're aware or not, you're a medium,

but because you're not protecting yourself,

you're still going to absorb, um, deaths.

All right, so when this old lady's attacking,

what's it look like?

I did have a sketch done of what I saw.

You're not gonna like this.

And this is all the time?

All the time.

'Cause she lives on your back.

This is heavy. I'm so sorry, Nancy.

There was one more thing

that I was very worried about.

I'm looking into the hall,

and there's this little dark thing going by.

About the size of a child.

It has sharp nails.

And it is evil.

Pure...evil.

What I saw specifically was what people call a demon,

and all it wants to do is cause harm, okay?

I think that the living might hear it breathing.

It does sound kind of like a rattling when it breathes.

It can also be physical.

Saw that it caused terrible nightmares.

I don't see how you can sleep in that house.

Nancy, tell Amy about the recurring nightmares you have.

I go up the stairs, I start getting attacked by...

I don't know what it is.

When I wake up, I am literally fighting,

trying to pull myself away from it.

The first time that I had ever spent the night,

I was being held down by something

that was literally restraining me to the bed.

I was so scared.

I knew I was gonna die.

Okay, did you get a good look at it?

I had a sketch done of what I saw.

Oof.

My God.

This is so scary.

What the hell is that?

That is the creepiest thing.

This makes me... it makes me angry,

and I feel so bad for you.

I don't even know what to say about this,

and it's not even human, so how am I supposed to fight this?

Well, you know, she basically turned out

and told me, "I feel whatever's here is gonna kill me."

I mean, is this a possibility?

Well, yeah, that's what I think.

My God.

That is so scary.

This is awful.

This is my first house.

I was excited, I bought it by myself,

and I just thought I was gonna be there forever.

Well, Nancy, you've been through hell and then some.
