That would have been a long way down.

- Looks like the only way across

is to get all the way up there.

But we can swing up there.

We just need a pendulum.

A pendulum is a weight hanging from a line,

like a string.

When you pull it one way and let it go,

it swings the other way.

- Oh, I see how we can make a pendulum.

We can use this vine hanging from the ceiling as our string,

and I can be the weight.

- You're a real pendulum now.

- Go for it, Blaze!

- Here I go!

- Shoot, the pendulum didn't swing high enough.

- Maybe you need to start your swing

from someplace higher.

So to keep away from the monkeys,

we need to stay away from the trees with the most bananas.

That must be where's the monkey's hiding.

- Get ready, sounds like there's another monkey up ahead.

- Remember, he's going to be hiding in the tree

with the most bananas.

to jump over everyone in line

so we can get our drinks first.

- Mm, looks like we'll have to engineer some way

to swing you up there.

Let's build a really tall tower crane.

If Starla grabs onto the cable, it will be a pendulum,

and she could swing up to Zippy.

- Yeah.

Let's make the parts to turn me into a tower crane.

- First, we need the mast,

which makes the crane really tall.

Next, we need the jib.

That's the part that stretches out really far.

Now we just need a cable to swing back and forth.

Now grab on!

- Hang on, Zippy, I'm coming.

- Okay, Starla, get ready to swing like a pendulum

on the count of three.
