- I think there's something wrong with my wing.

- Hey, there. I'd bet I could help you with that wing.

- Yeah! Gabby can fix anything.

- Now that your wing's fixed, you can fly fast again.

I've gotta be fast for the big race.

- A race? What race?

- Like, only the number one flying race around.

- It's the Super Sky Race!

- A Super Sky Race? - Let's check it out.

- The Super Sky Race is way up in the clouds.

- It goes through floating rings, flying loops,

and sky tunnels!

- Wow. That looks amazing.

- I wish you could fly, too, Blaze.

Then you can race with us!

[falcons screeching]

- We better hurry and catch up with the others!

- Oh, totally.

We don't wanna miss the race.

- Good luck in the race!

- Wow. Wouldn't it be great if we could be in that sky race?

[falcon screeches] [Blaze gasps]

[falcon laughing]

Like you could be in the Super Sky Race.

You can't even fly.

- Um, who are you?

- The name's Thunder Wing,

and I've got something you'll never have.

Wings! [chuckling]

With these beauties,

I'm going to win the Super Sky race.

- Now I really wish we could be in that race.

- Hey, wait a minute.

I know how we can fly in the Super Sky Race.

- How, Blaze?

- Let's build our own wings.

We'll transform me from a truck

to a Falcon Monster Machine!

First, let's make the tail feathers.

Falcons need those to help them steer.

To make tail feathers,

say, "tail feathers."

Tail feathers!

Now I need strong talons for grabbing things.

To make the talons,

say, "talons."

Talons!

And last-- the most important part,

the wings so we can fly!

To make the wings, say, "wings."

Wings!

Ho-ho! Yeah!

I'm a falcon...

- Wow, Blaze! - You're flying!

- Oh, yeah!

Hop in. We've gotta hurry and get to that starting line.

- All right! [grunts]

- Yeah! Super Sky Race, here we come!

- Falcon... all: Fly!

- * Wild wheels!

* Animals, mountains to the ocean floor *

* Hibernate, migrate all over the world *

* A big stampede, soaring, swimming *

* Hear them roar

We could fly through that hole in the storm clouds.

- But we've got to hurry. It keeps getting smaller!

- You can make it, Blaze!

- Yeah! You're a falcon now.

The fastest animal in the whole world!

Falcons fly their fastest when they dive down.

- With their aerodynamic shape,

they can dive at speeds of up to 100 meters per second.

[falcon screeches]

- Here I go!

Let's see how fast we're going.

[dinging]

What number is that?

40! That's fast, but not fast enough.

- We've gotta get to 100 meters per second.

- Try to speed up, Blaze!

- Whoo-hoo!

Now we're going this speed.

- That's really fast, but we're still not at 100.

- Uh-oh! Look!

That hole in the storm is almost closed.

- I've gotta go faster!

100! That's it!

[Blaze screeching]

- Yeah! We made it!

- Come on! Let's hurry and get to that race.

[cheering and chuckling]

- [laughs] Look at all the birds!

I see parrots, and toucans,

and--and some kind of giant blue bird.

- Pickle, what are you doing with those binoculars?

- Oh, hey, Crusher.

I'm bird-watching.

That's what it's called when you watch birds.

- Birds? [scoffs]

- Hey, birds! Snack time!

- Snack time?

[cheerful music]

- Huh! I wonder what those birds are eating.

- Ooh! I bet it's something really delicious,

like, ice cream!

- Ice cream?

Huh. You know, I don't think birds eat ice cream.

Crusher? - [grunting]

- What are you doing?

- [chuckles] What am I doing?

I'm gonna climb this wobbly stack of rocks

and get that ice cream!

The Super Sky Race is just moments away!

But first, let's meet one of our racers.

Thunder Wing, how are you feeling

about today's race?

- Let me tell you something, Burt.

I'm gonna be the winner of the Sky Race.

And you want to know why?

- Um, sure, I-- - I'll tell you why!

Because I'm the best flyer Animal Island's ever seen.

Thunder Wing! [audience cheers]

- That is one confident bird!

The question is, can anyone beat Thunder Wing?

- No! - Well,

we'll find out when the Super Sky Race begins!

[audience cheering]

- Oh, man, we've got to hurry and get to that race.

- Hey, look! Another sign.

- It says to get to the race,

we need to fly through that tunnel.

Hang on, everyone!

[kids cheering]

[sinister snapping]

- Blaze, look out!

- Whoa-oh!

Phew! That was close.

- What are those things?

- They look like some kind of pinching plants.

- Those pinching plants are everywhere!

They're growing out of the floor,

and the ceiling!

- How're we gonna get past them?

- I know! Let's steer around the pinching plants with these--

my tail feathers! - Yeah!

When falcons move their tail feathers,

it changes how air moves around them.

- And that helps falcons steer up and down.

- Come on! Help me steer past those pinching plants.

- Watch out, Blaze!

Pinching plants straight ahead!

- Should I use my tail feathers to fly

over them, or under them?

Over them! Yeah!

- Yeah! - Nice steering, Blaze!

- Whoo-hoo!

- Watch out! More pinching plants!

- Look, there's the end of the tunnel!

* Tail feathers help them steer *

- Oh, they're gonna eat up all that delicious ice cream.

- Pfft! Of course I'm sure, Pickle.

And I'll be even more sure when I get up there with these!

[whimsical music]

Super sneaking stilts.

- Wow, Crusher.

You know how to walk on stilts?

- Nope, but how hard can it be?

[grunts]

* To get that ice cream

* Gotta stay balanced

* So that I don't fall

Another sign for the Super Sky Race!

- It says the starting line is at the top of this mountain.

- We're almost there! Falcon fly!

- Whoo-hoo! - Yeah!

[ice cracking]

- Uh-oh! Those big ice crystals!

They're starting to break!

- [gasps] Look out!

- Uh-oh! Those big ice crystals!

[ice shatters] - [gasps] Look out!

- [grunts] Whoa.

[all screaming]

[thuds]

- Blaze! - Are you okay?

- Whoa, I think so.

- Man! This mountain is covered in ice crystals.

[ice cracking] And they're starting to fall!

- [exclaims]

- How are we gonna fly up to the race now?

- There's only one way to get past falling ice crystals.

We've got to crush them with my falcon talons.

[screeching]

- Falcons have strong talons

to grab food when they're hunting.

- With talons like that, Blaze could crush

those ice crystals before they crash into us.

- Hang on, everyone! It's talon time!

- Look out, Blaze!

Two ice crystals just fell!

- And one more!

- How many ice crystals are there all together?

Three! Yeah!

Let's crush 'em!

Count to three with us.

[all cheering]

- Watch out, Blaze!

Another falling ice crystal.

[audience cheering]

- And he's, like, totally a falcon now!

Are you gonna race with us?

- You bet I am!

- All right! - Yeah!

- Nice!

- [chuckles]

[brakes squealing]

Aren't you forgetting something, Blaze?

You can't race because you can't fly.

- Oh, yes, I can, Thunder Wing.

Because I'm a falcon!

- Huh! Well, we'll see about that.

[fanfare trumpeting]

[audience cheering]

[sweeping cheers]

so I can finally get the birds' ice cream!
