I challenged you
to elevate your drag,

and tonight, you came through.

Now it's time for the judges'
critiques, starting with Tayce.

Tayce, tell me
about your materials.

I took apart, like,
about 100 Brillo pads

distressed
the hell out of them.

Cut my hand a little bit
along the way,

you know, but I hope
it pays off somewhat.

I think you are a superstar.

Your hair is adorable,
your makeup is on point.

But this outfit, for me,
not gonna cut it.

If you look on the stage,

you kind of see the extent
of what we're looking for

at this point
in the competition.

This, to me, is a corset

with some stretched-out
Brillo pads stuck to it.

It's just not quality.

Certainly from the waist down
it needed something else,

not just a sort of,
you know, scratchy gash.

It feels like the amount of work
and detail that went into this

is just sort of lacking a bit.

Absolutely stunning
face, hair, body.

I'd probably wear this
to a Christmas party

with a cute little skirt
on the side.

Your runway presentation,
you sold the garment.

Unfortunately, there's
not enough garment there,

especially compared
to these other girls.

I decided to do a character

that really celebrates
what I am,

because I am a funny,
blue-and-ginger bitch, you know?

As you know,
I'm not the biggest fan

of coming out here
in a bodysuit or a leotard.

But this has so many dimensions
to it and it fits so well.

Considering
I know that material,

it's like an IKEA bag almost,
that material, right?

And your makeup
looks beautiful.

-I took Raven's tips.
-Well, you can tell.

I don't know if I'm 100% sold
on the balls on your eyebrows,

because you don't need them.

I just thought
you did a good job tonight.

So Michelle doesn't like
balls on the face.

Well--oh, don't go

I think it was good.

The character
that went with the outfit

fitted perfectly for me.

You set the bar
quite high for yourself,

because you say your superpower
is you're going to be funny,

I used vinyl bin bags
and created some, like, balls

to create this volume
in the shape.

And then this was
an actual light fitting

that I snapped apart
and created this shaping.

It's very Gaga.

The drama mama.

The structure is wonderful.

I love the choice of
the glitter painted-on mask.

I wish it worked to protect us.

Just when I feel like
A'Whora is one kind of queen,

you come out
in something like this,

and you do show me that
your versatility is there.

You look gorgeous.

I can't believe you've actually
made that in that time.

A light as a belt.
I want one.

It's stunning, those kind of
shoulder sleeves, those pleats.

If I could give you

Hi. Tell us about
your materials.

My original idea, I scrapped.

But then I found
this gorgeous fabric,

but I didn't really
have that much fabric.

so I made it work
with what I could.

So I found some paper as well,

and there wasn't much left
going that I could salvage.

I think the makeup is great.

I kind of live

for those 1920s-meets-1990s
eyebrows.

The hair, it's not my favorite.

I just wish it was
a little more clean.

You say you didn't
have enough fabric,

but then I think you've
overcompensated with the paper.

You talked about
your killer heels,

but actually
in the presentation,

we couldn't really see
those amazing heels.

Because the way the dress,

it falls at the front,
not the back.

But I think
what you did really well

was make it work
as an overall look.

First thing on my mind
was high-fashion, major looks.

But compared
to the other queens,

I think not as much effort in.

But still, this is using
the materials very well.

And the Westwood reference
is really clear.

You're a big Westwood fan?

I love my outfit,

starting with Tayce.

She's fierce, she's beautiful,
she's a superstar,

but tonight on the runway,
the execution was just way off.

We have seen Brillo pads
on the stage before, Ru,

and they've been done better.

There were bald spots.

Every time she moved her arm,
it would stick.

Had there been something
to finish off the bottom,

it could have been a shutdown.

Below the waist,
it just looked like

sort of metal pubic hair
hanging out of her.

You know, when Raven and I

visited the kids
in the werkroom,

I knew she was in trouble then.

And had she thought about it
even further,

she would have done
like some of the other girls,

which is change the idea.

Lawrence of Chaney.

Lawrence's look tonight
made me laugh.

Though it's more
on the basic side,

it's still
really well constructed.

The detail, the hooks, the brush

and the gestures
that went with the brush

up the bum and stuff,

she put a huge,
happy feeling in my belly.

You can't fault it.

It was really well done,
and I did laugh.

I wasn't blown away by it,
but it worked.

All right, up next, A'Whora.

Wow, wow, wow. A'Whora
came around the corner,

and we were just,
you know, gobsmacked.

To think of the shoulders
is one thing,

but then to have
the technical know-how

to put it all together,
it was extraordinary.

I'm still not sure how you
pshht those shoulders,

but I want some, just to pshht
every time I enter a room.

Tonight, I just felt like, wow,

this is A'Whora's moment
to shine.

That was so beautiful.

Clearly someone
who understands her body,

fashion, and silhouettes.

Up next, Bimini.

Kind of the Westwood direction
she went with it,

with the Pamela Anderson
makeup, was Bimini.

I really appreciate that Bimini,
as a non-sewer,

didn't just immediately
grab a glue gun

and start sticking things
to herself.

But I felt like
it was quite easy for her,

because she got a couple
materials, wrapped them around,

and ended up looking
quite fashion, maybe.

It was just a lot of fabric
down below

for somebody who's so tiny.

And when you're small,
like me--ha, ha, ha--

you have to keep that
in consideration.

Well, I wish
you all could have seen

what she showed
in the werkroom.

Because that was just
a Bimini abomination.

Why did you talk her out of it?

Up next, Ellie Diamond,
our big, beautiful doll.

This is my other favorite
of the night,

because the attention
to detail on this

was above and beyond
any other look on the stage.

She made jewelry,
she made a scepter.

The toilet brush
as a lollipop,

not something you'd
wanna put in your mouth,

but when it looks that pretty,
maybe I'll take it.

I loved it.

This, for me, was
my favorite look of the night.

That looks like something
she brought with her,

not a found fashion challenge.

Really, really
great finish on it,

and, yeah, hats off to her.

Great silhouette.

This is another kid
who grew up sewing,

and it really paid off
for Ellie.

Sister Sister, the big rosebud.

I am really
hard-pressed to believe

going on, yet not enough.
