that the mugger, who has been identified

as drifter Manny Farkus,
was shot and killed.

It seems to be getting worse all the time.

seem to be any logic to it.

I mean, why would a man suddenly
shoot Patti down like that?

move that frightened him.

Or maybe the gun had a hair trigger,

and it went off by accident.

The police have the weapon.

And that would have been reported.

If what that man says is true,

neither Patti or her brother
had a chance to move

before he shot her.

other than her money and her jewelry.

based on what some old blind man

After our visit to the hospital,
