for the nukes using the diamonds.

And just like that, the
ghost had his bombs.

Unknown.

He's rumored to been involved

smuggling oil and cigarettes in and out of iraq.

Then he moved into arms dealing.

I know about this guy, actually.

He's one of those guys that handles
everything at arm's length.

Very, very careful player who is connected
to the albanian mafia and the asian triads.

But from what I know, he always has cut-outs.
He doesn't deal with anybody directly.

Interestingly enough, I also heard that he was
involved in the ethnic cleansing in serbia.

That's true. He was brought up on war crimes,
but no one could get the conviction.

Yeah, that's him. I know him.

So, I guess marcus told
you you'd get a chance...

To take out the guy who
ordered the hit on your team.

Which would have been a lie, because
he didn't want you to kill the ghost.

Marcus wanted you to
help him disappear.

So, the attack on the siu, the ghost
actually wanted you to come after him.

'Cause he knew you wouldn't
stop until he was dead.

And you'd kill anybody
who got in your way.

And that was what he was
counting on, right?

Expected you to clean
up behind him.

Killing everyone and leaving nothing
behind, no evidence of what he did.

So, in essence, we were helping him and
any trace of the nuke just disappear.

Yeah, so marcus was pointing
the way the entire time.

Yeah, we didn't ask any questions, because
hey, we were taking out the bad guys.

Okay, well, what about
marcus and the cia?

I mean, how did the
ghost get to them?

Anyway, the ghost didn't get to them.
They came to him.

What you need to understand about
the company and the way it works.

It's not one person at the head, it's
a bunch of people, multiple columns.

And each column has their own
opinion about what the world needs.

Some of these columns will do whatever
they have to do to get what they want.

It's the kind of column
that marcus fell into.

So, what do they want?

They want the nuke, but they're
not gonna get it, so...

Well, that's why marcus betrayed kane.
Even kane had to be cut out.

Because the cia was helping the ghost
disappear in exchange for the bomb.

It just doesn't make any sense,
the cia has plenty of bombs.

It's not like we need
any more of them.

Refined plutonium has
its own signature.

If it goes off, we have guys who can tell
you exactly which reactor it came from.

So, someone in marcus' column
wants to blow it up somewhere.

Okay, and then when they trace the
isotopes back to tajikistan...

They can blame my country.

And with everyone involved in procuring it
cut-out, they can't point back to the cia.

So, the only question left is, what
happens now that marcus is dead?

It all circles back to lynch.
He's on point now.

Okay, but where does that leave the ghost?
Is he gone?

I mean, I don't
know, could he be?

Well, lynch was the molniya expert.
His job was to kill snow...

Remove the lightning device and make
sure that the bombs were accessible.

Okay, so edi'd given the codes and
the nukes, then he's cut out.

If the ghost's deal was to deliver
the bomb to marcus, and not lynch...

Then that means lynch
was an employee.

They'll be someone at the top of
marcus' column in the company.

Cia is just like the fsb.

So, the ghost isn't going anywhere until
he knows that his end of the deal is done.

So, lynch is just a courier.

And marcus' superior would never
expose himself to someone like that.

So, lynch will deliver the
bomb to the ghost personally.

Yeah, and then the ghost would make
sure it gets to the top of the pyramid.

Yeah, but I shot the nuke, and I destroyed
it, that's why lynch left it behind.

But he took the arming device.

I have a schematic.

behind there, nuke is useless.

still think that he's got a grip on things.

As long as he does, he'll stay in play,
which is what we want and what we need.

We only want the bomb when
everybody is cut out, anyways.

So, that's kind of how
we're gonna do it.

This is what's gonna lead us to idolan and
that's really the way to get to idolan.
