[Episode 59]

[Previously]

Everything that I've done was for today.

Everything will return to its original state back in Qingyang Town.

Destroy the Fetal Plane and you might still turn back.

The winner rises and the loser dies.

The two of us will not stop until one dies!

Then I'll see you again in the new plane.

Come out.

Ice Master.

You're here for the monster essence.

How did you know?

I already noticed during the day.

The other half of the key to the Life-Death Talisman has something to do with you.

The monster essence crystal that Xiao Yan has is my older sister.

Then where's the other half?

It's me!

They think I don't know. But actually, I know it all.

If I can become the other essence crystal, then they can unlock the Life-Death Talisman.

But if you do that, you'll die.

Aren't you afraid of dying?

Of course, I'm scared.

If I'm dead then I can't see anyone anymore, especially Brother Lin Dong.

But if I die, I'll be more useful than being alive.

I'm happy that I'll be able to help Brother Lin Dong.

You also became the Ice Master for Lin Dong, right?

You're also very sad, aren't you?

You're very curious about Lin Dong, but there's still something I don't understand.

This person has never appeared in my memories before.

But Brother Lin Dong worries about you a lot.

You probably don't remember him. Which is...

Which would be even sadder for him to hear, than my death.

I don't know him.

I only know the reason for my existence is to rid the demons from this world.

I also know that you're doing the right thing.

Little fox, unlocking the Life-Death Talisman,

is the only way to calm this chaotic storm.

Th-Then can you help me?

Will it hurt a lot?

It won't hurt.

Don't lie to me.

Ice Master, I have an idea.

Where's Lingshan?

What did you do to her?

Little fox, look out there.

Your sister is out there waiting for you.

Sister, I'm coming!

Brother Lin Dong, goodbye.

What right did you have to do that?

Who exactly are you?

I am the Ice Master. I didn't do it alone; it was her own choice.

Didn't we agree to use a different way? Why did we need to sacrifice her life?

Each and every one of you are talisman carriers,

yet a little fox understood her duty better than all you do.

She sacrificed herself for the ultimate goal.

Why won't you all reflect upon what you can do?

Don't look at me like that. Soon the Life-Death Master will resurrect and you still need my help.

Resurrect?

By using the Devour Tailsman's power, and the two halves of the monster essence,

we then can resurrect the true master of the Life-Death Talisman.

Really?

But we can only resurrect one master.

- Are you talking about Xinqing or Lingshan? - It isn't determined yet.

No matter who it is, we'll all be happy.

No matter who it is, we will still be in grief.

Brother, I'll help you enter the dimension of the Devour Tailisman.

Your strength is too weak.

Let me do it.

Sister, I finally get to see you again!

How come you've also become a monster essence?

Brother Lin Dong, why did you come?

I'm sorry. I didn't protect Lingshan well enough.

Why do you speak this way?

Lingshan bravely did something none of us could have.

She exchanged her opportunity to open the Life-Death Talisman.

And now,

I can use the power of the Devour Talisman,

to bring one of you back out into the world.

Then what about the other one?

I understand.

Brother Lin Dong, take Lingshan.

No, Brother Lin Dong, take my sister instead.

Brother Lin Dong, it was my own decision to stay here.

I've heard Master Diao say that he lived here for almost hundreds of years!

Every day, you can hold the Devour Talisman, hiding it in your embrace!

Who else has such luxury?

Brother Lin Dong, don't you think I'm smart?

Brother Lin Dong, you should take my sister.

My sister has a higher cultivation and she is more prudent.

And I know that Brother Yan has been missing her.

Between us sisters, one must find happiness.

Lingshan, I promise you.

I will forever hold you and hide you in my embrace.

Lin Dong has made his decision.

So great!

Just now, I kept hoping for you to return.

But Lingshan, she...

I know! When we're finished with fighting the demons,

I'll get another form-transforming pellet for her to eat!

Won't that just solve everything? It'll be the same as what happened to me!

Diao, what do you think?

Speak! What do you all think of it?

Sounds good to me, as long as you don't eat it again.

This world doesn't have another form-transforming pellet.

That little fox can't come back now.

Lingshan definitely wouldn't want everyone to be sad because of her.

We must all treasure this for Lingshan.

Only then can she peacefully live there.

I'm sorry.

I misunderstood you.

You're overthinking. I paid it no mind.

Since you're here, let's discuss Lin Langtian's situation.

What do you want to know?

I want to know... where did he escape to?

To activate the Fetal Plane, you need a huge amount of energy.

The place he will go to is a place with a lot of energy.

Currently, just with his current strength, it will be impossible for him to do it.

He will surely use a dimensional rift to lure the Yi-Demons to help him.

Dimensional rift?

Last time, during the Great Battle with the Yi-Demons,

Fu Zu defeated the Yi-Demon Emperor and sealed the location to another plane.

That place is where the two planes once met. It is the weakest.

Qingyang Town. The Door of Weimian.

Hence, all things started in Qingyang Town.

- Qingyang Town? - That's why the Seventh Yi-Demon Prince appeared first in Qingyang Town.

That's why Old Man Yan was in Qingyang Town looking for the Successor.

That's why Qingyang Town has an area like the Tiemu Forest,

a place big enough to bring about the yang yuan-stone mine.

That is...

That is our home.

This is Qingyang Town, your hometown?

In the past, it wasn't this worn down.

Until Yi-Demons turned this place into ruins.

It wasn't only the Yi-Demons that turned this place into ruins.

Humans did too.

All the fights started with the Yi-Demons.

Old Man Yan, Senior Xuan Su, when did you two arrive?

After Master Yan received your message,

he immediately brought every member of the Talisman Guild here to help.

This is quite interesting. From where it started, it will end.

Lin Langtian has always been crafty. What if he doesn't take the bait?

He will surely come.

Since we set out from Monster Domain,

the scent of Lin Langtian has been leading toward Qingyang Town

and it got stronger as we traveled closer to here.

This must be a residue that the Yi-Demon Emperor left.

To let the lust inside Lin Langtian

increase without limit until today,

turning him into an insane person.

We must quickly find him.

But we only have seven ancestral talismans with us.

Moreover, you haven't passed the third level of the Nirvana Rank.

If you don't reach the Cosmic Rank, you will never be able to stop Lin Langtian.

As a talisman guru, you should be listening to the words of Fu Zu.

But I still mustn't lie.

You must believe in the Successor of Fu Zu.

Senior Xuan Su,

I do have a method to deal with our enemy.

See?

Guild President, you now have a plan?

Lin Dong, you're going to use the yang yuan-stone mine?

Xiao Yan already went to check it.

I plan to use the energy of the yang yuan-stone mine

to make up for the incompleteness of the seven ancestral talismans.

But you clearly know how huge the risk is and how little the chance of success is.

After all this time, when did we not gain victory during dangerous times?

Now, everything must have closure.

Good thing, I still have one life left.

Have you forgotten? You have nine lives.

Moreover, you still have me.

Me and Xiao Yan, too.

Us too.

Me too.

Since you all have decided,

why are we still here wasting time?

Old Man Yan, you and Senior Xuan Su will lead our members to stay here and be our back up.

I will obey.

Xiao Diao, bring everyone else to the yang yuan-stone mine to join with Xiao Yan.

I... will catch up a bit later.

Where are you going?

All right then, let's go.

Today, we must have a good fight.

Let's go.

Everyone, be careful!

Can I take you to a certain place?

Go where?

You'll know once we're there.

Why did you bring me here?

Actually, I had a small selfish reason for coming back to Qingyang Town

and bringing you to the place where we first met.

Even if you truly can't remember,

whether we live or die, we must be together.

But have you really forgotten that?

You once followed me

and we eloped to Qingyang Town.

You said that you'd accompany me forever.

Ice Master, let me ask you. What is the purpose of fighting the Yi-Demons?

Isn't it so we can continue living well in this mortal world?

Happily striving for one's dreams?

And being together with the person we love forever?

Ordinary people may indeed think that way.

But you and I...

One is the Successor of Fu Zu and one is the Successor of the Ice Master;

for us, having a mission is enough.

If that's the case, I'd rather be an ordinary person.

Fine.

Once the fierce battle with the Yi-Demons is over, if both of us are still alive,

I will surely help you find that girl you lost.

Qingtan,

did you come to see me one last time?

You knew that I'd come?

We are of one body. Our blood is connected.

Since you're able to find me, I then also knew that you'd come.

Brother Lang, I came to have a good talk with you.

Talk?

Didn't you say that you were going to sever your ties with me?

That was in Flame City.

This is Qingyang Town.

In this place, I first started to like you.

Now, I'm Qingtan from Qingyang Town who wants to have a chat with her Brother Lang.

Is there still anything to talk about between us?

Is there really nothing left between us?

Did you bring your Darkness Talisman?

Brother Lang,

do you also remember?

Remember what?

Remember how we tied the hair knot here.

I urge you to stop mentioning the past.

On our journey here, we can never go back.

I never thought that you'd still have it.

I thought that you'd have thrown it away.

I thought of it,

but I couldn't bear to do it.

So I just placed it near my heart and told myself

that there are some things that will never change.

Since you know that I never had a change of heart,

why then did you keep going against me?

Brother Lang,

stop, all right? Stop fighting.

Right now there is no Yi-Demon Emperor.

Even without the Fetal Plane, we can return to the past.

I'm still your Qingtan.

You're still my Brother Lang. All right?

Hearing you say that,

I really feel very happy.

In these past days, my days have been very difficult.

It's fine.

Brother Lang, it's fine. I'll forgive you.

Brother will also forgive you. All right?

Forgive?

On what basis do you think that I need your forgiveness?

When did I become some sinner

who needs your forgiveness?

When did you start to stay by my side out of charity?

Don't cry.

It was also my fault for not fully explaining myself.

Letting you all keep falling deeply into this mistake.

But it's all right.

In the other world,

there will be another Lin Dong and another Qingtan.

By then, I will be sure not to tolerate you two to keep on making mistakes.

This Qingtan now and that past Qingtan,

should say goodbye to me.

You still deceived me.

I did fool you.

I guessed that you would lure me here.

Hence, I prepared beforehand.

You lied to me again!

I thought...

I would never use this object.

Don't worry.

I won't kill you.

In my heart,

Brother Lang is already dead.

Start the enchantment!

Should we wait? Qingtan is not yet back!

Qingtan said that she'll wait for us in Tiemu Forest.

Oh, no. Qingtan...

She must have gone to find Lin Langtian.

Qingtan! Are you all right?

Why were you so silly?

How come you still believed Lin Langtian even until now?

The Eight Ancestral Talismans are complete. We can now contend with Lin Langtian.

Really?

If not for you adding the energy of this yang yuan-stone mine to the combined energy of the Eight Ancestral Talismans,

my plan wouldn't have gone so smoothly.

Today, we all will aim to live together.

As for dying together, it's better to leave that to you and the Yi-Demons.

He's using the Fetal Plane to open the dimensional rift!

Master Yan, what's going on?

That is Qingyang Town, another Qingyang Town.

He created a new plane.

Good brother, the changing of the old into the new is forced by circumstances.

Won't it be better for us to gather in a new plane?

No matter in what world, I will never be a brother of a Yi-Demon!

Just be righteous all alone then.

You think I care?!

Qingyang Town is getting closer.

Activate the Eight Ancestral Talismans Enchantment! Hurry!

Master Yan, do we need to keep waiting?

Lin Dong is on the path to becoming Fu Zu.

He still has one trial that he must pass alone.

The strength of the Eight Ancestral Talismans.

I told you that this lad could do it.

I never was wrong about anyone!

Lin Dong, quickly go after Lin Langtian!

The Eight Ancestral Talismans Enchantment can't be one person less!

If the Fetal Plane isn't destroyed, the dimensional rift will never close.

Us guarding this will just be wasted effort.

Don't worry. As the Talisman Envoy, I will be sure to hold on until the last moment.

When the enchantment becomes incomplete, we all must help each other out.

You all must hold on until Fu Zu returns.

While the Successor of Fu Zu isn't around,

I will support this on his behalf then!

Talisman Envoy, go and protect him! We'll stay here!

Go to the other plane.

In that place, you are me and I am you.

All of this is not a dream.

We are actually in another plane.
