[Be My Cat]

[Episode 1]

[Tian Li]

Every girl will be looking forward

to her wedding day.

They all hope to be married

to the one they love one day.

They'll put on beautiful make-up, wear wedding dress

and sit in the wedding sedan with the sound of firecrackers.

They will enter the bridal chamber under the blessing.

Everything seems to be perfect.

But...

Funeral affairs?

A little familiar.

Is he dead?

Why did such a strange experience happen?

It all starts from that day.

Uncle Zhang,

you can take it with you

when you go out.

Thank you so much, Peppermint.

I'll pay you when I have enough money.

It's OK.

Uncle Zhang,

see you.

Thank you.

See you.

Be careful.

Be careful, Uncle Zhang.

[Yiqu Pet Shop]

Sister Peppermint.

You've already spent

a lot of money to treat them.

Why do you still agree others to pay on credit?

If this continues,

our Yiqu Pet Shop will close down sooner or later.

We have enough money.

Besides, our shop has been

doing very good recently.

There's a customer coming.

There's a customer coming.

There's a customer coming.

What pet do you want to buy?

Do you have cats here?

A cat that can bring fortune.

Cat is not the only pet can bring fortune.

Cats are lazy and disobedient.

What about buying a turtle?

Male turtle can ward off evil and female one can bring fortune.

Right.

Have a look at this scroll of pets.

Is there any you like?

Well.

Do you have all these pets?

You can't be commercial fraud, can you?

Of course, we have all these pets.

Our Yiqu Pet Shop is small,

but we have all kinds of pets.

Those pets are

all in the backyard.

I don't believe.

You don't even have a cat here,

what kind of pet shop is it?

Now rich people like to keep cats,

but you don't sell cats.

I don't know why,

I just don't have the heart to sell cats.

Boss.

I heard that you sell Southeast Asian lizard.

May I have a look?

Of course.

It's really cute.

It will be eye-catching if you take it out.

Only two, first come, first served.

I want one.

I want one.

-Good. -Perfect.

I want one, too.

Where did you come from?

How can you jump in line?

I'm willing to pay a high price.

High price.

The price is negotiable.

Let's talk about it outside.

OK.

Follow me.

You can't sell it to him.

I'm willing to pay a high price.

Sister Peppermint,

here is your letter from home.

This is not my brother's handwriting.

What does Brother Su

send you this time?

What happened to Brother Su?

The letter says

he is missing.

Missing?

Isn't Brother Su in the Jade Courtyard of the capital?

Why would he be missing?

I don't know.

The letter only asks me

to find the other three Soul Beads.

What's the Soul Bead?

Wait.

There must be something fishy.

I have to go to the capital.

Xiao Yun,

I'll leave the shop to you.

But the capital is so far away from here,

and it's not very safe recently.

I heard that there are still wars on the border.

Will it be dangerous to go alone?

Don't worry.

I have Little Dragon with me.

Sister, give this to you

for unexpected needs.

Hurry!

Big brother.

There are horseshoe marks here.

They went to the forest.

The castellan said

people who cut off the head of the major general

of Tianli State will be rewarded.

-OK. -Yes.

Can it be a bad omen?

It's alright, I'm a lucky girl.

What a doomsayer.

Hello, are you OK?

Still breathing.

He's the soldier of our Tianli State.

I must save him.

Hurry. There's the sound of a horse ahead.

What should I do?

What should I do?

There's the sound of a horse ahead.

Hurry.

You guys

go over there and check.

-Yes. -Yes.

The others search here.

Yes.

That guy can't run far

with such a heavy injury.

He must be somewhere around here.

Well.

Why don't we take a look over there?

Is he dead?

What should I do?

He wasn't drowning.

Can artificial respiration work?

Just save him first.

But...

Don't think so much.

Saving people is more important.

It was you little bitch who tricked us.

You, you...

Stay away from me!

Stay back!

Stay back!

Stay back!

What a tough girl.

I like you.

Young General,

reinforcements from Sunset City have arrived.

Leave the battlefield immediately.

Please avenge us in the future.

A great man should die in battle.

It's a great honor to die in battle.

I'm their target.

If you guys retreat with me,

they'll go after us.

We would all die.

I entered into a contract of master and servant

with humble human beings.

What a shame for me.

Big brother.

What?

Great!

I save him.

Aren't you dead?

You'd better surrender,

or

I'll kill her.

Well.

He must have hurt his brain.

What does that mean?

I don't know.

What are you guys doing there?

Go kill him.

Is he bewitched?

I think so.

It's so scary.

We'd better run away.

Yes.

Bro.

You go kill him first.

Why don't you let me go?

Don't play tricks with me.

Crazy woman.

Why did you just kiss me?

I didn't want it, either.

I was saving you.

Save me?

Just get me up.

I'm crazy?

Am I crazy?

Kill them.

You...

Is that what you did to your rescuer?

You are so good at martial arts.

Why did you use me as a weapon?

They're dirty. I don't want to touch them.

Well, alright.

So,

should I thank you for being willing to touch me?

You're not any better.

You just smell special

compared to them.

Your smell is more comfortable

than theirs.

Have you finished chatting?

I'm still here.

Wait for me.

He needs a lesson.

Come on.

I've been in the Soul Bead for a long time.

It's cool to be out.

The woman still has the Soul Bead.

How could she run away?

Where are you going?

Didn't I tell you to wait for me?

There are also lizards in this area.

It seems that men are also afraid of lizards.

Little Dragon,

you're indeed my little talisman.

Master,

we found the body of the enemy.

Your friend is here.

I should leave.

I need to find my brother.

Master.

We found many enemies over there.

And we've got them all.

Besides,

we also found General's horse.

Great.

He must be somewhere near.

Go find him.

OK.

His breath is very unstable.

The military doctor said

he might not wake up.

Master will help to get rid of general's bad luck.

He is sure to get through this.

If you say these unlucky words again,

you will be punished.

Sorry.

Young General made

great contributions to the Tianli State

at such a young age.

He's the general protecting the country.

Only the good die young.

This time last year,

I had the honor to see him.

He had a wild temperament,

handsome eyebrows

and deep sharp eyes.

I fell in love in a second.

But he is going to die now.

Miss.

Who's in that cab?

Why is everyone so sad?

Little girl,

the man in that cab

is the famous Young General.

Young General?

Is it that man?

Can it be such a coincidence?

Anyway,

I need to find my brother first.

Maybe now...

Miss.

Do you know where is Master Xu

of the Jade Courtyard?

Just go straight down this street.

Thank you.

Zi Mo had indeed been missing for days.

Director Xu, do you know

where my brother went

before he was missing?

After Lady Yu of Mo Mansion invited him to be a guest,

there was no news again.

So my brother

was kidnapped by them?

I need to go to Mo Mansion.

Thank you, Director Xu.

I'm going there to investigate.

Miss.

You may not know

how big the Mo Mansion is.

And it has strict management.

It's very difficult for you to get in.

So, Director Xu,

do you have any idea?

Master.

Master.

Young madam says that

she'd rather die than get married.

Mo Mansion will send someone here after a while.

What should we do?

I will never marry my daughter Wan Er

to a dying man.

Go.

Why did I just faint?

The bride should not show her head.

It's unlucky.

Where are we going?

Miss Xu,

don't you remember that

you're getting married?

Miss Xu?

Director Xu drugged me to make me comatose

and made me pretend to be his daughter.

No.

I need to find a way out.

There're guards on both sides.

I have to find another chance to escape.

Come on.

Don't worry, Master.

This Longevity Hall is a good place.

After Ran Er moves here,

he will be able to recover from illness.

Funeral affairs?

That's why.

They get me here to get rid of the bad luck.

Come on.

He looks familiar.

It's you?

A general

was scared by Little Dragon to death.

That's ridiculous.

You.

You wake up.

Yes.

You come to me yourself.

What are you going to do?

Don't you know what I'm going to do?

I'm your savior.

How can you do this to me?

The human body is too weak.

Why do you little girl

have so much power?

You're not going to escape today.

It smells good.

Wait...

Calm down, big bro.

Just calm down.

Who is your big bro?

Ran Er is awake.

That's great!

Lord Mint

is your big bro.

Don't move.

Stay there.

Don't run away.

You're a man,

how can you be scared by Little Dragon?

Coward,

good bye.

Ran Er.

Ran Er, you're finally awake.

I'm so worried.

Who are you?

You just wake up,

why don't you recognize your father?

This old man must be Mo Xiu Ran's father.

Oh no.

How long have I been sleeping?

Young General.

You have been sleeping for about ten hours.

Ten hours?

You guys get out of here now.

Ran Er, what are you doing?

Now!

I...

Master.

Ran Er just wakes up.

Let him have a rest.

Let's go.

Go.

Have a good rest.

Damn!

It will be the 12th hour soon.

What

should I do now?

I slept for so long.

It must because of the weak body.

I haven't adapted to it yet.

This time I can wake up

because I met the Soul Bead again,

which stabilized my power.

After making the master servant contract,

I can only maintain 12 hours of human form every day.

And once she gets hurt,

I get hurt, too.

No.

I need to find that woman,

release the contract and take the Soul Bead.

And then go back to Yu Li Planet.

What bad luck!

I was forced to become his bride.

I also lost my money.

Fortunately, the blue Soul Bead and Little Dragon are still here.

Smells good.

Why does she have the blue Soul Bead?

Well...

Are you hungry?

Come on.

Crispy and delicious.

I haven't had such delicious fish for a long time.

But,

I've been cheated

and I'm out of money.

It's OK.

When you have money,

you can give me back.

Thank you!

I will pay you later.

What's your name?

Just call me Muppet.

OK, sister Muppet.

Sister Muppet,

do you know Mo Mansion?

Mo Mansion?

Of course.

The richest family in Tianli State.

The richest family in the capital.

I heard that

they are looking for servants.

Come here.

What can you do?

Chef.

A chef? How old are you?

Thirty.

Thirty?

Really?

So many people.

People behind go ahead.

I have to try my best.

Watch out.

Careful.

Watch out.

Young General.

These are gifts given to you by emperor.

In recognition of your contribution

to our Tianli State.

Look.

This is the finest brocade.

That is a precious blood jade.

And the western night pearl.

Young General.

This, this, this.

I don't want them, take all away.

You don't want them?

What? Do you have any question?

Not at all.

General,

I have one thing to tell you.

Go ahead.

That bride is not

the daughter of the director of the Jade Courtyard.

The director wanted to protect

his daughter, so he called a girl named Su Xiao He

to pretend to be her.

This is a picture I drew according to

his description.

It's a little similar.

But she is not so pretty as in the portrait.

Keep looking.

General.

I will post the picture all over the city.

Go. Now.

Great.

So comfortable.

This human being

looks handsome enough,

I am satisfied with his look.

Well.

Before I find that woman and break the contract,

I'll keep this appearance.

And

here is another portrait.

Take it away.

General,

I really

can't understand the picture.

Go and build a cattery on the back hill.

The address is marked on it.

You'll know when you go there.

Since when do you like cats?

Why do you talk so much nonsense?

Just go.

OK.

Go, go, go.

General's character has changed a lot

since he came back to life.

Yes.

Stop talking nonsense.

Hurry.

Hurry up.

I'm such an excellent prince.

I am

so charming as usual.

So charming.

What can you do?

Do the laundry.

OK, come in.

Next.

What's your name?

Su Xiao He.

Come in.

Next.

What's your name?
