Lord

I want to ask

since Princess's medicine is running out

and she has almost recovered

Can she stop taking the herbs?

Aunt Xu is right

Stop the herbs

The imperial physician said

this medicine needs to be continued

In daily life,

Lord dotes on Princess in every way

Are these just blowing smoke?

Why does he

in the name of tonic

let Princess drink the contraceptive for a long time?

Sure enough

After all, Lord takes precautions against Wang family

and is unwilling to give birth a child with her

Even I risk my life

I won't let him hurt Princess

What're you doing?

How dare you

I'm an imperial official, a family member of the empress

How dare you arrest me?

With order of the emperor

We seize those who take bribes and pervert the law

You can provide an explanation in prison

See?

No conscience at all

They went too far

Your Majesty, something terrible happened

Calm down

This person is from Director Xie

He said that soldiers of Lord Yuzhang just now

arrested Director Xie

and several other clansmen of Xie's family

They were labeled to misappropriate military expenses

And they've been sent to Dali Court

What?

Lord Yuzhang

I advise you not to waste your energy

You just got an account book

You cannot convict me based on that

Come on

Xie Shouzheng

I know that you are of Xie's family

But now there are witnesses and physical evidence

Admit it now

You can't suffer such pain of the flesh

You can't stand it

You've known that empress and I are of the same family

How dare you do this to me?

Listen

If you lay a finger on me

and Her Majesty knows it

she won't pardon you

Shut up

You are such an arrogant corrupt official

Maybe you have to suffer such pain of the flesh

or you really don't know what's the truth

Dali Court. Where are you?

What are you waiting for?

How dare you!

I am an imperial official

How dare you torture me!

The imperial decree came from Her Majesty

Oral order from empress

Xie Shouzheng, director of the Ministry of Revenue is from Xie's family

Xie's has always been a loyal family

Torture can't be put to a grand master

The Dali Court should take a careful interrogation

and cannot put him a torture

There must be at least half of the brown rice, Lord

No wonder ministries always say food is in shortage

Since raising to escorting custody to

distributing to the following ministries,

Xie Shouzheng

and his henchmen cannot do all about the commissary

They have allies

Lord

I...

What's the matter? You're coy

Say it

This commissary was co-organized by Huaien and the Ministry of Revenue

Huaien has been cautious

Why don't I ask him?

Just find the truth about the commissary

I will never allow this batch of shoddy military food

to be sent to the following ministries

Yes, sir

I'll deal with Huaien

Is this rice?

There are stone and rice chaff inside

What is this?

It's all moldy

Let alone it will be provided for battlefield,

can it be given to the soldiers?

Is this for people to eat?

Your Majesty

Xie Shouzheng, director of Ministry of Revenue

cheated and resold military food

This man is extremely guilty

According to the law, he should be beheaded

Your Majesty, please issue the imperial decree

Lord Yuzhang

Thanks for your hard work

This matter has been ascertained

You must be sure to re-transport the food

and redo winter clothes as soon as possible

Don't let the soldiers on the front line be bitterly disappointed

Your Majesty

How should the culprit be punished?

Your Majesty

Xie Shouzheng, thousand deaths will not atone for his crime

But I thought

he was the superior official from the Xie's family in the court

In addition, many people are widely involved in this

Once it gets out,

not only does the noble class lose face

I'm afraid even the royal authority will be damaged

So as far as I can see,

Xie Shouzheng should be exempted from death penalty

apply with other punishment

How about to demote him

and make him retire from office,

so as to punish him as a warning to others?

Your Majesty

Xie Shouzheng and empress are of the same famly

Many people of Xie's family are involved in the case

You can't kill them all

In my view, I will dismiss him, exterminate his entire family

and never use him

Do you think this is okay?

I think

it is not okay

Your Majesty

There are witness and material evidence on this matter

and has extremely bad impact

Your Majesty has just ascended the throne

Xie Shouzheng is extremely guilty

If you do not kill him,

you cannot relieve civilian anger

If you do not kill him,

how can you set the example for the court?

Lord Yuzhang

You are too serious

Your Majesty

If it is only because Xie Shouzheng is of noble class,

and he can be exempted

Then

the tragedy that the former emperor was poisoned and forced to abdicate

I'm afraid it will happen again

Lord Yuzhang

How can you mention the former emperor in front of Your Majesty?

Your Majesty

I also have my difficulties

Your Majesty

Are you forcing me?

Adjourn

Adjourn

Greetings, Your Majesty

Her Majesty is here

Greetings, Your Majesty

Empress

How can you walk around so frequently?

You need to protect our unborn child

Such a thing happened under Xie's family

How can I stay calmly?

Empress

What Xiao Qi said is not unreasonable

Xie Shouzheng really makes everybody angry and resentful this time

I can't save him either

Your Majesty

You are the emperor of a country

How can you be held hostage by a courtier?

But Xiao Qi has repeatedly saved my life

He is loyal and devoted

Cheng can't succeed without Xiao Qi

You're wrong

Only Your Majesty is indispensable to Cheng

Now the world has settled down

It's time to judge the situation

and make plans for the future

Lord

You're here

Huaien is late

The distribution of goods and materials

is really too complicated

What is

It's not easy

It's not easy

Let us stop it here

Our meeting today

is mainly about Yuxiu and you

How are you getting ready for your marriage with Yuxiu?

Pretty good

I told Awu

that Huaien is just like me who

has joined the army for many years

We the soldiers were born with no fate for money

I asked her to give us a large sum of money in advance

and make sure to prepare a perfect wedding ceremony

for you and Yuxiu

Thank you, Lord

and the princess

I also have some savings over the years

I will definitely prepare a

prefect wedding ceremony for Yuxiu

The wedding will not be inferior than those royals and nobles

Not be inferior than those royals and nobles?

Lord, do not make fun of me

A clear stream is avoided by fish

I also understand this truth

The logistics is a big project

If you are willing to think about it,

it is not difficult to raise some money

Lord has something to refer

Who is Xie Shouzheng?

The director of Ministry of Revenue

This man has had some dealings with me

He is too sneaky

Tell me more

This person is of the same family with the empress

He is in charge of

the materials and military supplies

This person especially likes to deal with

those nobles

He also took advantage of my birthday

and gave me gifts

But

I gave it all back

What did he give you?

I don't know

You don't?

When he gave me the gifts,

I was not at home that day

Those servants received the gifts

When I came back the next day,

and knew about it,

I ordered to give it back at once

You gave it all back?

Sure

These greedy followers

Someone must have taken it as private property

I'll figure it out

who on earth did such a thing when I get back

I'll go now

Huaien,

now

so many pairs of eyes

are staring at us all the time

Understood

I must keep in mind all the time

Okay

You

should pay more attention to Yuxiu

and marry her as soon as possible

Did you hear that?

Yes, sir

Prince,

there is a message from Xie's family just now,

saying they wanted to visit you

Xie's family?

Xie's family?

Lord Anping wants to see me

Xie's family behind him wants to see me, too

Since Xie Yuan died,

Xie's power in Cheng

is also not as good as before

Prince, you can refuse to meet him

Xiao Qi's enemy

is our ally

the noble class Xie's and Wang's in Central Plains

Although Xie's lost,

they still have the foundation

It is okay to see them

Got it

Deal with it

Be careful

Yes, sir

Please rest assured, general

It's me

Lord

Helan Zhen has been in a brothel

and didn't see anyone

these days

Pretending to be greedy for alcohol and woman

Great

Keep an eye on him

Yes, sir

Slow down

Lord, you come with me

Pang Gui,

I want to know

if you are

loyal to Princess as I do?

From the day I followed Princess,

I am no longer even Wang's secret guard

but just Princess's secret guard

That's good

I hope I am not mistaken

and made no mistake in betting

This matter is related to the future life of Princess

I dare not go wrong

and can't be wrong either

What do you mean, aunt Xu?

Does anyone want to hurt Princess?

But

Princess is guarded by Lord

Who is so bold?

What if Lord himself?

Lord

Then how could it be?

Lord's love with Princess

we all can see it

It's not fake

How could he...

Aunt Xu

Is there any misunderstanding in this?

Misunderstanding?

Let me ask you

If a man really loves his wife,

could he

give her contraceptive drugs for a long time

and beautify it as a tonic?

Lord, please come with me

Lord, please follow me

Lord,

I have followed your order a year ago

to buy this brothel under another identity

Taking the opportunity of redecorating,

I built tunnels and secret rooms

Except for me

no one else knows anything about this

Sorry to let you

hide in this dissolute place

When this is done,

I will take you home

with the highest courtesy in Hulan,

the ceremony of welcoming the saintess

Thank you, Lord

Never hesitate to die for you

Let's go

Bow in the greeting to Lord

The carriage is ready

Lord, please

Well done

Go back

Thank you, Lord

What?

Aunt Xu means

This is the

medicine that Lord ordered Princess to take

I served aunt princess personally in the palace when I was young

And served her to marry

I needed to be almost proficient in everything

So I studied with each department in the palace

I also learned a lot at the doctor's office

There is one medicine among them

which is extremely rare

I only smelled it several times when I distinguished medicine years ago

It has been a long time ago

So I was careless

and let Princess take it for several months

Secret guards have been trained since childhood

This medicine is poisonous

Pang Gui is also the best of the best

But I really can't judge anything abnormal

about Princess's medicine

So that is why

the person who prescribed drugs was very cautious

and used extremely weak dosage

I mixed the dosage for ten days

and asked a famous doctor to check

so as to confirm my guess

If she takes this medicine for a long time,

Every day, every month makes a mickle

It is bound to cause harm to Princess's body

I'm afraid it's hard for her to give birth again

That is so vicious

For women,

without children

it is difficult for them to live in a wealthy family

Even Princess

may not get away from it

Lord is involved in the matter

As you say,

he always seems to have a deep affection for Princess

I can't tell for a while

how much does he know about this matter

If he doesn't know, it's just that

If he orders to do this,

you and I can think far more than this

Yuzhang Mansion

is not only the deep end for Princess

Then if Princess doesn't know

and continues to take this medicine?

Don't worry

Now I am in charge of the daily medicine cooking

and delivery affairs

I reapplied the medicine

So that

what Princess takes every day now

are all real tonics

Since so,

Aunt Xu

what do you

want me to do?

I want you

to investigate Lord

Your Highness, please

This way, please

Who on earth wants to see me?

So mysterious

Could it be?

Empress

Prince of Hulan is really somebody

I thought you would be

at least a little surprised when you saw me

Unexpectedly,

you are so indifferent

Your Majesty, do not make fun of me

I've been drinking too much recently

so my brain is not working well

Or I should have guessed

it was you who invited me here

Frankly speaking,

in Cheng in the old days,

Xie's and Wang's family

are as equal and share in influence

But now,

I'm afraid Xie's has lost power

Maybe the empress is the only one who can

can contend against Wang's family

At this moment,

Your Highness may be also the only one

who is bold to

invite me here for a private meeting

Prince Hulan is flattering me

Cut the chase

Please tell me what you want

Okay

Then I'll get this straight

Prince Hulan,

do you want to

behead Xiao Qi?

Everyone knows it

What a coincidence

What I want

is just like you do

Aunt Xu, speaking of this

I remembered one thing

I don't know whether to tell Princess

What's that?

Prime Minister

is already dead

Is that true?

Is it confirmed?

When did it happen?

After all, the prime minister is Wang's lord

Several branches of Wang's secret guards went to the north to protect him

They sent back the news from the north

So it couldn't be wrong

I think word gets around in the palace

I just don't know why it isn't allowed to spread

I wanted to tell Princess secretly

But I was stopped by Lord

Lord has already known about it

Regardless of the unselfish heart of Lord Yuzhang,

he was right to stop you in this matter

In these two years

there are so many changes

Princess lost her child and mother

so her mental problem is quite serious

She really can't take another death notice anymore

Then Xiao Qi seems to have sinned against you, too

A common man's only crime

is to carry a jade

Prince Hulan must know that

I am pregnant with a royal son

My kid will be the ruler of the state in the future

Lord Yuzhang has military leadership

and is the regent of the state

He is a great threat to my son

What's more,

maybe you know that

I have always been at odds with the Wang's family

Anyway,

Lord Yuzhang is Wang's son-in-law

If he hinders,

how can my Xie's make a comeback?

I'm afraid the truth is not just about this, right?

I heard that

you should be the one to marry Lord Yuzhang

before, didn't you?

What do you mean by that?

I came here sincerely

If you have no intention of joining forces,

we can stop here

Empress

I just heard about it

And it is just out of my curiosity

You do not take it seriously

There is a saying in your Cheng goes like this,

the enemy of an enemy is an ally

So it seems that you and I

can be regarded as old friends

So you are willing to

join hands with me?

Helan Zhen

agreed with my pleasure

Aunt Xu

Aunt Xu

I think I've been here too long

It's a little urgent that Princess can't be found everywhere

I'm leaving

I hope you don't bear my trust

Find out the truth

If Lord Yuzhang really wants to harm Princess,

At the worst

I will give my life

to die with him

I will never let anyone hurt Princess again

Don't worry, aunt Xu

Pang Gui is as loyal to princess

as you do

Even if I will be shattered,

I will do my best

Aunt Xu

Where did you go?

I sent people around looking for you

It is chill in the afternoon

I drank a few cups of rice wine for warming body

I didn't expect to sleep until now

I have never heard the sounds of the maids

I am so sorry, Princess

Princess,

today's medicine is ready

I'll bring it here right away

Aunt,

we haven't walked together for a long time

Let us go for a walk in the garden

Okay

Okay

Now that we have made an alliance,

how about telling our plans to each other?

What is your plan to bring down Lord Yuzhang?

Sure enough, I came

with full preparation this time

It's just not the time yet

When the time comes,

I will say it to you

Empress, you just need to be clear at the moment

that never let the emperor send Xiao Qi back to the frontier again

By that time,

it will be difficult

for us to behead him

Don't worry, Prince

It's on me

The emperor is always suspicious

I just need to spread some more rumors

The emperor will not easily lay by trouble for the future

And

I have a inside spy in Yuzhang Mansion

and won the trust of Princess Yuzhang

If Prince Hulan needs her,

this person is available at any time

You are really smart

You and I join hands

We can make it happen

I propose a toast to Prince

I wish you and I get what we want as soon as possible

I've heard that

the lost relatives will turn into stars

and watch the people they miss in the sky

On this starry sky,

I don't know which one will be the mother

Princess,

I think the brightest one

must be aunt princess

She must be watching you all the time

I entered the palace when I was twelve

and I served aunt princess

I witnessed her changing from a teenage girl to a married lady

and being a mother

But then she...

Princess,

If aunt princess hadn't told me many times before her death

that she worried Princess the most in her life

I might have died with her

to accompany her

Aunt Xu

Do not talk the nonsense again

Mother is gone

For Awu,

you are a relative like my mother

In these days,

you always bite back

when you talked to me

So many anxieties and worries with you

I have seen all

Princess,

I...

I have nothing to hide from you

Aunt Xu. Princess, just rest assured

As long as I'm alive,

I will do my best to protect you

Princess,

It is cold outside

Go back quickly

Don't look around. Move

What are you looking at?

Princess,

Caiwei

Lord, Your Highness, I am Caiwei

I haven't seen Caiwei for a long time

Thank for remembering me

It is my honor

I am leaving

Gu Caiwei, the daughter of Gu's family

Today, she is the one whom

the emperor wants to refer

Caiwei

Hulan's convey is here

There are really many beautiful women in Cheng

Each is beautiful and has sparkling skin

It really tickles my heart

It's really a match

Just like tailor-made for you

Thank you, for helping me out

Let's go. It's about to start

Princess,

I know

Princess,

I do not know whether

I can ask you a question

Come here

Have you ever been forced

on that day you married Lord Yuzhang?

Were you willing to?

Of course I was reluctant

I'm reluctant, too

Women in noble families

We seem to be high above

But we often

become a pawn of the family

No one

can escape from the fate

I will go to Hulan state

It's far away from here

Princess,

I am so scared

I'm afraid that I cannot return anymore

There are definitely ups and downs

But things are impermanent

Perhaps

it will not as bad as we think

Caiwei

You can't be afraid

Only to face it bravely

can you have the hope

I understand

Thank you, Your Highness
