I'm only a human

I'll grow old

I don't want to become an old lady one day,

and you're still young looking

If you become old,

I'll become old with you

If you become ugly,

I'll become ugly with you as well

if...

one day you die,

I'll accompany you too!

Zheng,

Zheng...?

are you there?

my daughter!

you're?

you're Concubine Jing?

you've been suffering for so many years

are you really my biological mother?

all the memories I saw just now are all real?

yes

that time I can't fight against the Queen

in order to save your life,

I can only rely on Mr. Zheng to raise you up outside the palace

but after a few years the Queen noticed about you

she poisoned Mr. Zheng!

she even made fake evidences

she said that I'm having an affair with Mr. Zheng!

I can't reason out anything

then the king sent me to this cold palace

living miserably here

what you've said now I already knew it

but why you want to kill yourself?

or someone came and murdered you?

my daughter!

let it go

I don't want you to get involved in this palace's affairs

I don't want you to live so dangerously

the Queen was the one behind all of this

she has passed away

bad people can't live long

It must be the crown prince right?

It must be him! there's no one else!

although Mu Su Yu he knew what the Queen did in the past,

but he's only a child

now, he only wants to protect his late mother only

as long as you stop investigate this case,

he'll not harm you

my daughter!

I've only one people that I miss in this world, and it's you!

you've to continue to live your life

then, I'll have no regrets anymore

concubine Jing!

when Zheng was investigating her father's death,

she made a promise in front of the king

can you prove Zheng's identity?

when I was been sent to this cold palace,

I've written all the truth into a letter,

I've contained it in a little box made of wood

and place it in the king's room

just for emergency use

If you guys are in trouble later, you can dig up this box

then the king will understand about everything

what about you?

you don't me to take revenge for you?

what about my father?

and my mother?

they died in vain

my daughter!

we love you

nobody wants their love ones to be in danger

my daughter,

as long as you able to look forward,

and let go of the past

you'll able to move on

how can I just let everything go?

how can I do that?

I've resentment, I have!

my daughter,

as long as you can let go

then you can live in peace

our lives are short

please let everything go

my daughter,

from now onwards,

go and enjoy your live!

mother!

Zheng!

don't find anymore

just now hwta you saw,

they're all her memories

It's all illusions

you all,

but this truth,

It's too heavy to bear

mother!

the crown prince has arrived

you go and hide first

can you handle this alone?

don't worry

alright

Zheng!

you are too daring!

you're the murderer here!

you still dare to show yourself here

you can't say without evidence

when I walk through this door,

you guys were already here!

and concubine Jing was already lying there dead

you're saying that I'm the murderer

I think you guys were the ones

you're smiting here

then let's us see

who the king will believe

my king,

I've heard that Zheng wanted to go to the cold palace to find concubine Jing

I'm suspicious of her all these while

then I head to the cold palace too

then I met her killing concubine Jing

what you say?

concubine Jing is dead?

yes father!

It's her who killed concubine Jing

Mu Su Yu you're smiting here!

when Zheng and I arrived at the entrance of the cold palace,

concubine Jing was alreadt dead

Mu Jing,

I'm not understanding

what is your relation with Zheng?

why you're protecting her from the start?

Mu Su Yu,

don't put all your dirty thinking onto another person!

my king,

I'm not speaking

what the crown prince say

is the truth then

Zheng!

what're you saying?

I only don't want to fight with him

killing people is a death sentence

you don't want to speak for yourself then what you want?

since the crown prince is saying that I'm the murderer

then I'll admit it

but I want to beg you to give me a chance

to let me expose the secret that you didn't know for the past 20 years

Zheng!

what do you still want to do now? you're merely a dying people now

Mu Su Yu!

we will know that soon!

you're daring!

I'm the crown prince here, kneel down now

you're the crown prince so what?

the king has to bear the consequences if he makes mistakes too

don't tell me that you're even powerful than the king?

you're daring!!

you two fighting like this in front of me

do you two have respect for me?

Zheng!

I want to see...

what's the truth that you wanted me to see!

tell me what you want to do?

my king,

beneath you bed,

there's a wooden box beneath

I want to pled you to

call someone who you trust to take the wooden box out!

there's a wooden box beneath my bed?

yes

my king, you 've to believe me

alright

Eunuch Zhao!

I'm here!

wait!

3rd prince?

what do you want?

don't let Eunuch Zhao go

father,

you can't see?

this Eunuch Zhao and Mu Su Yu,

they're in this together!

I'm afraid that he will change the wooden box!

my king,

I'm wronged!

only my king you're my master!

alrights

get up now

thanks my king!

then Zheng you tell me,

who do you've in mind?

my king,

the person that you trusted,

is you yourself!

you're telling me to get the wooden box myself?

yes

my king,

this wooden box has the evidence that we needed

If you want to know the truth, you should be the one who's getting the box yourself!

alright!

I'll believe you once again

If I can't find the evidence that you meant just now,

you're dead this time!

Zheng!

Is this the wooden box that you mentioned just now?

yes my king

in this box,

there's a letter from concubine Jing to you

in this letter,

all the evidences are written inside this letter

concubine Jing's letter to me?

she wrote this letter out of helplessness

you're really my daughter?

what?

what you said father?

Zheng stay here

everybody go out now

father, this...

I'm calling you all to go out now!

my king,

what do you want to do?

give me your hand!

you really decided...

are you going to take this title gifted by the king down now?

yes

the king didn't say anything?

he said

he said a lot to me

he call me to stay beside him

to stay inseide the palace

he promised to let me live with luxury

but,

those to me

are nothing at all

It's a burden for me

I just want to freely live my life!

this place is only my home

Zheng Yuan San and Cheng Qiao Niang are only my parents

but,

why you want to resign as the palace's artist position?

because I believe,

without this title, I still can run my family business well

you're not afraid,

that the crown prince continue to disturb you?

didn't you say?

with you beside me, I don't have to be afraid!

what are you guys doing there? come and eat now!

we're coming now!

let's go!

where's Qiong Hua?

Qiong Hua,

why aren't you coming down for lunch?

crown prince,

crown prince! Am I still the crown prince??

please calm down crown prince!

It's just a title only without the power of it

Su Yu!

that day I asked you to find 9 young girls, there's still one missing

before late night, remember to bring her to me!

aunt!

I thought I've found all nine young girls for you?

why you let that Qiong Hua go?

Qiong Hua?

you don't have to bother about that!

please wait aunty!

aunt!

if you still don't care about me

I can't hold on this title of the crown prince anymore

It seems that...

you're anxious about your throne now

aunt!

It's not me who's anxious! It's my father!

he can just take away my title anytime

can you help me?

don;t worry!

I've made some arrangement for you earlier!

you mean...

do you know the 3 men beside Zheng?

yes

I've investigate them before!

but I can't find anything about them

of course you can't

because the 3 of them are fox-demon

and they've meditated for 1000 years

fox-demons?

you're telling the truth?

since when I lied to you?

aunt,

what's this

this is a mirror

although it looks like ordinary mirror,

but when it's full moon, it will become a magic mirror

aunt,

I'm stupid, what do you want me to do?

I've heard that the palace appeared a cat-demon before

and it became a pretty lady to lure the king

It nearly killed the king

now the king is very cautious about demons

all you need to do is to wait for the next full moon,

to use this mirror to reveal the fox-demon's true identity

to let the king see the truth himself

and denounce him being friends with the demons

then after this happened, the king will be aware of Mu Jing and will keep his distance.

aunt, you're so clever!

yes

I'll wait for the next full moon,

I'll do it!

you've to use this chance to defeat Mu Jing,

as for that Zheng...

I'll settle her!

I'll follow your orders
