faster eat some food sister Zheng! your body is so weak now!

oh yes,

where's Yu Yan and Qiong Hua?

he left for Qiong Hua after he carried you back yesterday

what happened to me yesterday?

why did I black out so suddenly?

how do you feel before you fainted?

I felt that my body strength are losing...

my limbs have no strength at all and I'm very dizzy

you are a human afterall,

next time you better not use your power so recklessly

I've heard from Yu Yan,

that you've used your power twice yesterday

that why you fainted!

no wonder

Zheng! he kept saying that I was the one who brought you into this state!

Yu Yan ,what happened?

yesterday what happened in the forest was all her idea

how can you be like this?

he's lying! Zheng you've to listen to me!

although I'm the one who suggested to go to the forest, me myself haven't been there before

how would I know that such thing would happen?

yesterday I saw you hiding behind a tree and watching over us. you're not helping at all!

you're the bad guy here!

I'm just a weak little girl

I saw the branches kept moving and I was so afraid! what you expect me to do?

you...

Yu Yan!

we're all alright here aren't we?

Xiao Hei, you go and help to release Qiong Hua

faster!

I'm so not willing to

go now

Zheng! thanks for believing me!

who told you that I believed what you said?

I'm not having evidence here and hence not jumping into a conclusion so easily

Zheng!

don't listen to him

It's alright, you go and rest now

If you're not the culprit behind this, I will believe you eventually

you faster finish your food

Zheng!

the expensive cloth has been made

the magic spider is going into hibernation again

we're only left with the expensive woods now

why don't we go to that forest again and cut down a Mu Rong tree?

It's only a tree demon, I'm not afraid!

If it's only a tree demon then it's easy

there are about a hundred of trees there and they share the same root

we'll be their trap once we enter the forest!

then what should we do?

be careful! be careful!

be careful! just leave it here! yes, like this.

alrights!

the expensive wood screen?

this is the original wood of the Mu Rong tree!

Mu Jing, where did you find this?

yesterday when I'm walking back from the palace, I suddenly remembered that I have some of your father's painting collection

I searched the whole day yesterday and finally found it

Mu Jing, you're my life savor!

I have expectations

what's your expectation?

that day Bai-sheng promised that he will help me once the matter is settled

why I'm afraid that you will teach him bad things

I really wants to be friends with Bai-sheng!

then you'll have to ask Bai-sheng whether he's willing to take you as his friend?

Zheng! we're friends since young! since when I'm the bad guy?

3rd prince!

since you've helped Zheng to find all the materials for the screen, I'll follow you back to fix the books that I've promised!

alrights, I'll call people to prepare a carriage

no need for that, I'll walk since it's just a short distance

alright

Mu Jing, don't you dare bringing Bai-sheng to the bad places.

who are you to teach me here?

here, drink some water!

thanks!

Bai-sheng, although we've known each other for not a long time,

do you take me as your friend?

you're Zheng's best friend! so of course you're my friend too!

you are being too careful when you speak! just call me Mu Jing

we're brothers from now on

since we're brothers now,

do you have any problem or things that you can't let go?

actually you're right

I've a person who I can't forget

she is...?

earlier,

I've stayed in an opera group before

I liked the leader of the group!

since then,

I started to love opera!

but later,

she betrayed me!

she died while she's struggling

you can't forget her since?

I've thought that...

I can forget her in 3 or 5 years time

but then I realised

no matter it's 30 or 50 years,

even the rest of my life

I've to live with the memories of her

she not only left so many memories for me,

she's deep inside my body and my blood

even my bones

Bai-sheng,

forget about your painful past!

tell me if you need my help

haven't sleep yet?

the time limit is almost up, so, I've to finish it as soon as possible!

oh yes,

do you have anything at this time?

I'm here just to tell you to beware of Qiong Hua!

I'm suspecting her

no matter what, she's still a weak lady and not a demon

don't worry

no matter what, just be careful!

last time she hurt you before

I know! you're being very nagging lately!

you're entering the palace tomorrow?

yes

I'll finish the screen by tonight. Mu Jing will accompany me to the palace tomorrow!

I'll follow you secretly tomorrow

there's no movement from the crown prince lately

I'm afraid that he's make a move somehow

alright!

my king,

you only took 5 days to find the screen that I wanted?

please wait for a while, the screen is on its way now

come in

put it here

I bow to you father! I, Zheng bow to you my king!

both of you get up now

Zheng

show your painting to the ambassador now

how did you guys make this?

ambassador,

the lady in front of you is Zheng! she's Zheng Yuan San's daughter!

the painting was drawn by her! are you satisfied with it?

Mr. Zheng...

he has a daughter?

yes I am. are you satisfied with this screen?

thanks my king!

I'm very satisfied with it

that's good then!

the wood is sculpted uniquely,

but the others are totally alike with the previous one

Ms Zheng,

you're really his daughter! you have the drawing talent!

I'm glad that you're satisfied with this painting, but I've a question for you

question?

what question?

my father passed away in the palace many years ago with unknown reason

I've asked many of his friends about this but they've no knowledge about it, do you...

I'm not sure about what happened that time, but I know a peron...

maybe the person can give you the answer you want

who's that person?

concubine Jing

concubine Jing?

yes

where's concubine Jing now?

my king,

there's no news about concubine Jing for so many years

after that thing happened, she might still be in the cold palace?

alright

since it's like that

you've helped me once

then I'll allow you to meet Concubine Jing in the cold palace

to ask her the truth

thanks my king!

alrights

dear ambassador

I've granted your wish

and now I'll hope that your Mu Lao clan with keep your promise

to protect the Sheng Le country to remain peace

don't worry my king,

I'll go back to my clan now

to settle this matter

alright

father

I'm accompanying Zheng to the cold palace later to avoid any trouble

alright

you 2 faster go and come back soon

yes my king!

Mu Jing, let's walk faster!

Mu Jing, faster!

where are you guys rushing now?

to the cold palace for concubine Jing!

concubine Jing?

the ambassador told me that Concubine Jing may know the reason of my father's death

why in a hurry then?

we're afraid that the crown prince will go there a step earlier than us

let's go there now! faster!

let's go

faster!

faster!

how can it be like this?

we're late again

we just left with this evidence and now...

the ambassador is leaving now, we'll have to go back and ask him

about what gossip he heard that time?

wait

why Yu Yan?

Is she not dead yet

she's dead

but part of her soul is still in this body

who do you mean?

can she be saved?

no

but I can try to retrieve her memory

that's great! faster!

retrieve her memory?

this...

Yu Yan,

you know magic?

alright! I've retrieved her memory

Zheng, faster go in and find the memory that has your father

father!

father!

father!

father!

father?

concubine Jing, why do you summon me in such a rush?

Mr. Zheng, I want you to help me

what are you doing?

If Mr. Zheng don't agree then I won't get up!

Concubine Jing, if I can, I definitely will help you!

faster get up concubine Jing! If people sees us like this, I may get killed

concubine!

Mr. Zheng!

this is...

Mr. Zheng!

the Queen is in control of this palace,

during this time, I've gained the liking of the king,

I've been pregnant 3 times

and was noticed by the Queen

she made me lost all of my children

the Queen,

she's so evil!

Mr. Zheng!

so many years, only the Queen can give birth,

but if other concubine get pregnant, she will force all of them to abort their children

my previous child,

he's already 6 months old

but the Queen noticed!

she forced me to abort my child

then the baby in your arms?

this...

this is the baby girl who I gave birth after many hardships

so Mr. Zheng,

I want to beg you to bring her out of the palace

I'm not for status of title,

I just hope that somewhere in this world there's my child

this..

I hope you will agree

concubine Jing!

I'm single and not married, what will people say if people know I'm raising a child?

I..

I will let Qiao Niang to leave the palace with you

you just have to marry her

Qiao Niang will do the rest

she will raise this child

Mr. Zheng!

I know your being

that's why I'm asking you to help me to raise my child

please save my child!

Concubine Jing!

this is not an easy task

what if this secret is exposed in the future?

but Mr. Zheng,

if you don't save my child

I'm afraid that she'll...

she can't live a single day here

Mr. Zheng!

alright

I'm agreeing to help you

thanks Mr. Zheng!

father

mother

both of you...?

Zheng Yuan San and concubine Jing, do you know your mistakes?

my Queen,

I, Zheng Yuan San is innocent

lying to the king

and going against the palace's rules

do you have respect for me and the king?

my Queen,

we did not do anything wrong

you still dare to deny your mistakes?

guards!

drag this sinner out and beat her until she admits her wrong deeds

let me go! let me go!

my Queen,

you've already had a child and he is the crown prince. your status should be stable now

why do you still want to force others?

Mr. Zheng, what do you mean?

I know that you understand what I meant!

Concubine Jing gave birth to a princess

she's not a threat to you!

if you let her go,

then everyone will be happy here

if you really want to kill her now,

not only the two of us know about this secret,

if you were to make this matter big...

who will be at the bad side?

you know about this right?

you...

my Queen,

please let my child go!

I don't hope that she will grow up in a luxury condition,

I only hope that she will be able to live!

shut up all of you!

my Queen please be calm

we just hope that you'll understand the consequences of your doing

all you want to do is to save this child's life!

but I didn't say I'll kill her now

then you meant...

you all just need to agree to one of my condition

I will forget about this child immediately

my Queen, my Queen!

please say...

I will agree to all your condition!

I just hope you will let my child go!

you 2 just have to admit that you have affairs

I can let you go

or else...

no matter how great this matter gonna be,

I will find your child and kill her!

my Queen, you're doing this because you're afraid that this child would be a boy

If later he fight the throne with the crown prince,

you can say that he is not an heir to the throne

he's me and concubine Jing's child!

Mr. Zheng, you're very clever indeed!

but usually the clever ones don't live long

my Queen,

having an affair in the palace is forbidden and it's death sentence

you just want our lives

yes, that's what I meant

I've gave you 2 a choice

you will decide yourselves

Mr. Zheng!

my Queen, you're wrong

where did I did wrong?

you want us to admit that we're having an affair, that's 2 lives for 1 life!

then what you meant...

my Queen,

my life is not important

I'll give my life to you!

but I hope you will let concubine Jing go!

you still dare to say you 2 have no affairs?

I'll approve your decision!

guards!

give Mr. Zheng poisoned wine!

my Queen..

please let him go, my Queen...

Mr. Zheng!

Mr. Zheng!

concubine Jing, please take care of yourself!

you'll have to take care of your child later!

my Queen,

Mr. Zheng!

don't drink the poison!

don't! don't father!

don't...

Mr. Zheng!

father!

Mr. Zheng!

father!

father!
