but when he came back, he has became a cold corpse!

so many years has passed,

my father has been working hard as the palace's artist!

but he's death for no reason!

so during that time, I've swear that,

one day,

I'll enter the palace to investigate my father's death!

but I'm just a weak lady

except from drawing,

I've known nothing else

that's why I'm only have to disguise as a man

to participate in this painting competition

in order to get the chance to enter the palace

I don't beg for your pardon,

I just hope that you will give me a chance

to investigate the truth about my father's death

you't talking nonsense here

Zheng Yuan San is a criminal and he deserve the death penalty

the Queen has passed away a few years ago,

now you don't have any evidence

father, I'm think that...

don't listen to this lady's words

I'm already feeling much better

just that,

you have to visit the imperial doctors soon

or else you'll get sick and worsen by aging!

she lied to many people

even I'm fooled by her!

father you don't know that I've actually know Zheng for quite some time

you know her?

yes, when I'm still young, her father Zheng Yuan San taught me painting

I've known her since then

so you knew her all this long

Zheng told me before that her father, Zheng Yuan San was summoned by the Queen many years ago

but he suddenly died

when he was sent home, he was already a corpse

Zheng has been living with her mom since that and they're relying each another

she only wants to investigate about her father's death

3rd prince!

there's some things that you don't know

father

Zheng did all this just because of her father, there's nothing wrong with her filial piety

father!

no matter what happened, she lied to you, father!

this is a serious crime

father!

I've one wish

father, I think...

eldest brother!

can you let me finish speaking first?

yes

Su Yu!

as there's an old saying, the eldest should gives chances to the younger ones first

you as the eldest brother, should let your 3rd brother finish his speak first!

I hope that you will give Zheng a chance

you are acting too recklessly

and why you didn't mention about your father's case before?

If I haven't been standing outside the door and listen to your conversation, I may not be able to protect you!

this is the deepest secret that I buried in my heart

actually, I wanted to investigate by myself

you still keeping secrets from me?

that's of course

but, you just asked one month from the king

will it be too short?

one month is enough for you to run around the world

run?

you really wanted to stay here and investigate?

of course I've to investigate, or else all my effort these years will go into waste

so many years have passed, can we still investigate this?

If you really want to investigate this case, I'll definitely help you

alright

I've no time to waste with you!

Mu Cheng!

what do you want from us?

this lamp name is Liang Yi!

once I've lighted this lamp, this lamp will form a prison in that area

In this prison, the demons can't do anything and their faith lies with the master of this lamp

Isn't it just a regular lamp? I'll blow it now!

Xiao Hei!

don't go!

the light of the Liang Yi lamp can only be blown out by the one who lighted it

I didn't know that you're that knowledgable!

what now?

are you scared now?

you alone?

we have three people here

you still can't be sure that you'll win in the end

today just need me alone...

and I'll be able to catch the 3 of you

you again!

yes, it's me!

brother Yu Yan, our power has disappeared!

what should we do now?

don't worry, I'm here!

you?

you will still die today if you have nine lives!

Mu Cheng, you can't believe this priest!

I know you've been used by him, faster blow the light out now

If not we'll end up dying together!

I'm aware of what I'm doing

I know who's the good people are!

Mu Cheng!

did you realized what've you done just now? you nearly killed them!

Zheng, the priest told me that the 3 of them are fox-demons and they're harming you!

you're the one who's hurting me here!

If it wasn't for the 3 of them, I've been a homeless lady now

but why the priest always find trouble with us?

I've heard him say before...

I'm his master enemy

he's been chasing after me for 100 years

100 years? Yu Yan! who is that person?

I'm not sure!

earlier years I've been killing many people and my body had very strong bloody smell

I don't know how many enemies I've made!

there's nothing we can do about it! we'll figure it out later!

we should be more careful next time

I'm going up to my room to change my clothes now. I've been having cold sweats since just now

go ahead

why?

Is there a possibility that I and Zheng have met before?

just that the memory was the part that i lost?

that's why i forgot about it?

Yu Yan,

the memory you lost was from 100 years ago

Zheng was not born during that time!

but if you like her then just like her daringly!

don't lock yourself up!

eldest prince,

Eunuch Zhao!

you called me in such a rush, do you have anything important to tell me?

eldest prince, the situation is not good!

what happened?

the last few days when the news was announced that Mu Jing prince won in the battleship, the king was very happy!

last night the king told me that Mu Jing Prince is brave and clever, yet he is kind...

does he looks like the younger version of the king?

Eunuch Zhao

you mean...

the king might have changed his decision!

alrights!

since it's like that,

I'll have to make my move first!

eldest prince, please don't act recklessly!

I can't think of so much now!

I won't let the throne to anyone else!

yes...

and that Zheng,

we still don't know her relationship with Mu Jing!

you must investigate properly!

I must get rid of her this time!

why you invite the eldest prince here?

that day my father called him to attend today

or else he won't come today!

I can't understand why the king want to pass his throne to someone like this!

he's the eldest,

and the Queen passed away at a young age, the king takes good care of him

previous years, he was still fine! but these years, he's getting ruder!

you're more outstanding that him, if the king can pass him throne to you then it'll be good!

I can't understand my father's thinking

and, I'm not interested in all of these

but if the throne is passed to someone like Mu Su Yu, I'm not feeling at ease!

yes,

you have to be careful of him these few days, your father's death may be related to the Queen

the Queen is the eldest prince's mother, no matter what he'll get involved in this matter case!
