inner city beauty pageant ended last night

as three beauty queens walked off

- Uh, that may be educational,

but that has nothing to do with homework.

about a most unusual event which took place

at Cape Kennedy today.

An experimental satellite launched

only a few hours ago veered off course

shortly after the launching.

The body of the satellite has been recovered,

but an instrument package lodged in the nosecone

and containing classified information

has not yet been found.

It is believed to be somewhere in the

Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida.

Since the package broadcasts a radio signal

when immersed in water, authorities do not anticipate

any trouble in retrieving the valuable instrument.

Observers have charted the probable

position of the instrument package

as being in the vicinity of Coral Key Park.

- Wow.

That sounds like it's right in our lap.

Something happened to the radio signal.

It went dead, which means they're

gonna have to search every square inch

of water both in and outside the park.

Now, the Coast Guard's mounting a search group

and we're gonna join them.

- Well, I finished my homework, Dad and I'm ready.

- I thought you were takin' Flipper fishing.

at the helicopter air station, so, uh,

As a Navy officer, I hereby commandeer you

and your dolphin and that skiff over there.

(Flipper squeaking)

- I better radio my dad and let him know I'm with you.

There isn't any time to lose.

Funny thing though, it's moving at a steady speed,

north along coast, against the tide.

device, that instrument package is being delivered

special delivery right straight to your house.

We're under way and proceeding to the dock.
